Sound goes off in OSX

Hay every one, My problem is When I load the program (e.g Jump Start Toddler for my kids) in classic mode on my Macintosh with OS 10.4, the sound is always muted. When I unmute it and go back to the program, it is always muted again. please guide me through to some procedure.

Internal speakers....I'm out of the warranty period. I think I've identified the root of the problem...seems to be with clips whose audio is of a low sample rate...I rexported the clips from Mpeg Streamclip at 44.1 and it's ok now...unless that was a coincidence.

I've using a pair of Klipsch Pro Media 2.0 for months with my Mac Pro. They are great speakers - except for one problem: sound goes off when listening to music.
I've opened one speaker and used an air blow can to clean the knobs. Seems to have helped, but there is still a problem. When not in use, I hear a light static noise and the sound goes dead. Nada. At that point, not even the internal speaker works. I'm not sure if I need to clean the interior of the Mac as well, if it's an energy saver issue or a hardware fault.

Sound goes off after minimize IE or Chrome

Hello everyone, I need a little help here.
Let's say when I open youtube on IE or Chome and when i go to Start (Metro) the video continues to play, but the sound goes off...
Is there any settings for that?

It seems that the question was related to Modern IE 10 and Windows Store App.
However, as far as I know, the behavior is by design.

Thanks Ziad2000, I have already tried to restore to factory defaults, and the problem continues, let me make a broader explanation of the problem. I acquired my phone almost a year ago, and everything was working just fine, I bought an iPhone dock station and after a few uses of it, the problem started. I do not know if everything is related to this item.

I would try to power cycle the device by holding the sleep/wake button till is says turn off. Maybe even reset by holding the sleep/wake and the home button at the same time. by chance if none of that works back up your device and restore it. Sounds like a software issue so that should fix it. You could always contact apple support aswell.

When I am talking on my iPhone 4, the person on the other end also using an iPhone cannot always hear me because the sound goes off and on. I can hear them just fine, but they cannot hear me for the most part.

Try disabling your Widgets one at a time, cause it sounds like maybe you have one that is taking control so that it can be heard?

Sound goes off, goes bad then effects the PC

I'm a tumblr user and I spend most of my time there on my computer. Recently videos sounds started to go off after a few loops. Then it completely goes off or goes bad like the audio damaged terribly. Even the system slows down. When I checked other sites their sounds are bad too and even chrome or something I listen from winamp gets effected. I checked my sound settings and try to test the sound then I got an error messege saying "Failed to play test tone". It gets normal after restart.
So I thought it's hopeless and I was even thinking of formatting my pc. But when I used chrome all day I didn't encounter this problem at all.

Random voice / sound going off

i have had my macbook for about 7 months now, and its been about 3 days that this is actually happepning, there is like a random sounds like a beep goes off my speaker which last about 1 second about every 20 minuits
what could be the problem ?

Iphone 5 sound goes off for no reason.

Problem with alarm, ringtone, keypad etc sound. Works ok & then sound goes, so nothing sounds when it rings or reminder or alarm goes off. This happens even though I haven't made any changes to the settings during the day. I have to switch off & on the phone to fix it. Also, when I press home button to unlock the phone, Siri is the first thing that appears instead of "Swipe to unlock" message. I have also recently noticed that when I am typing on the keypad, sometimes a sound is made and then it stops and then starts up again.
I updated the phone a few days ago but the problem is still occurring...

Double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off. Then go into Settings>General>Accessibility & turn it off for good.

Flash Player - sound going off after a while

I have exported a flash clip as an exe flash presentation file. I am using Windows 7 with flash player 10.
The flash clip contains 4 seperate video files (movie trailers) which have been imported into flash. I am able to play these fine by running the exe file created in Flash (CS4).
After a while (10 min or much longer somethimes) the audi goes off but the flash movie still plays without the audio.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
I have also improved the quality of the video files that I am using within the flash movie (downloaded them as HD video files and converted them to f4v files in Adobe Media Encoder and imported them into flash to play with flv component. Unfortunately when I try to play the published exe file, when it comes to play the imported video elements the audio plays fine but the images of the movie are jittery. Am i doing something wrong?

Hi, not sure if you are in the correct forum. You may have more help in the Flash forum.
I don't understand CS4 and how Flash Player is related, so can't respond to that. Perhaps someone else will.
You could look on the right hand side for "more like this" when you open your thread since those threads are related to
issues similar.

Sound goes off while playing games.

Nokia,
Some time I face a problem that when i play game like prince of persia, bounce and others, the game sound become turn off after some time playing though the apps tone is on. Any games sound does not on untill the phone get restart. But is does not happend other nokia java phone. ( 2700, c2 checked)
Please solve.

It's possible that the games are not compatible for your phone. We recommend that you download games, apps, themes, etc. from the Nokia Store. This is to ensure its compatibility.
