Sound "Looping" on 46G300U1

Hi.
I have a 46G300U1 which is connected to an AT&T U-Verse DVR via HDMI.  Periodically the sound "loops" or hangs in an infinite loop.  this problem is very intermittent and might not happen for days or might happen 5 times in an hour.  Only turning the television off eliminates the problem.  If I try to change inputs to clear the problem the TV reboots (Toshiba light and power light go off and then come back on).
I've tried 5 different HDMI cables (high speed and 1.3) with no change in results.  I've tried a component cable and that resulted in a different issue - periodically the volume goes to maximum.
Does anyone have an idea what's causing this and how to fix it?
Thank you!
Kevin

Does it only happen from that source? Has it ever happened from a different source?
Try disabling REGZA. From the "Setup" menu, select "REGZA-LINK Setup." Change "Enable REGZA-LINK" to "Off."

  • Lock ups and sound looping!

I remember reading something here about people having trouble with their systems locking up and then getting a loud static noise then a sound loop when playing games.
I am getting this about 2-3 times a night now and it is driving me nuts, I do not have temp problems of any sort and I have all of the latest drivers for everything on my system.
      Any ideas?
    Specs in sig

Set your PCI/AGP Freq to 66.66/33.33MHz.
Increase your DDR Voltage to 2.7~2.8v.
Check if you have any background programs causing all high CPU load times while gaming.

  • Sound Looping station

    Hi Guys,
I relatively new to LabVIEW, but am loving it so far.
I want to create a sound looping program... the difference from others being that the sound is recorded (eg. 4 seconds of recording) then the Sound Output doesnt play for a while (eg. delays the output by 8 seconds - variable by input).
Is there a type of buffer i can store the sound input to...? Or do i have to write to a file, and the open it to be played.
I would not like to do the latter because i need the playback exactly on the time specified (for live music applications).
    Thanks!

  • How do I create a sound loop with Garageband?

Probably a simple question, but I'm very new to Garageband. I'm trying to make some sound loops to use as looping background music for a Flash website. How do I import an mp3 from my iTunes and the cut it down to a 10 second or so snippet, then have it loop for the background music? I'm guessing I want to export it as an mp3, correct?
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hi
An Audio region is the name of a rectangle in GB that represents the audio file.
It's like a Bar that contains the data. The data can be audio or MIDI. So, drag the top right means place the mouse cursor over the top right corner of the bar and click-hold and drag... like you would drag a window or a picture to resize it in other applications.
At the end of the Time Ruler is an arrow pointing left you can drag. This sets the end of the project. So drag it to where you want it to end (exactly where the region ends)
or click on the two arrows looping (in a circle) button in he Transport bar at the bottom. This creates a cycle region (yellow bar in the Time Ruler). Drag and resize this to include only what you want:
and choose Share > Export Song to Disk.
There is a good offer on you might be interested to learn more about the basics and some of GB and other applications:
    https://www.macprovideo.com/trial/?st=7df&login
This gives you FREE online access for 7 days to all the tutorials at macprovideo. I think you need to register and cancel before the 7 days is up if you don't want to continue the subscription. The tutorials for GB and other programs are very high quality so I didn't take the online sub offer but I buy and download the ones I want.

  • Freeze on blank screen with sound loop  when playing steam games

    Hi,
I would really appreciate some advice. I've been troubleshooting this problem without success,

    - computer completely unresponsive, requires hard shut down
    - On restart I get almost the same report every time, though sometimes it referes to CPU 0 and sometimes CPU 2, a sample:

I'm so ****** off that it's been weeks and no solution has been provided for this.  In the middle of video editing, watching quicktime videos, youtube, or playing any games the computer hard freezes with a black screen and looping audio of about 1/2 second.

  • Computer crashes and sound loops while playing a game

My problem is similar some others i have seen in this forum and others. I have been struggling with this issues since i made the computer.  The problem is while playing counter-strike after around 30 min to 2 hours the screen freezes and the sound loops and then the monitor turns off and the computer restarts.  I have made possible attempts to fix the problem starting with buying a thermal take volcana for my cpu and a artic cooler for my video card.  I also have my cpu underclocked  from a 3200 to a 2500 i found that helps delay the problem a bit(i think anyway).  I have 4 fans in my case also.  I also thought it might be the onboard sound so i bought a logitec usp headset but that didn't fix the problem so i recently bought a sound blaster live 5.1 ls. I have also switch powersupplys though both were around 350-400 watts.
Any help or feedback it greatly appreciated.
    my specs are:
    MSI 9800 pro
    K7N2 Delta-L
    Athlon 3200+(underclocked to 2500)
    Soundblaster Live 5.1 ls
1 stick of 512 mb Ultra
350 watts not sure of the company came with the X-Dreamer II case
    hp cd-burner
Thanks for taking your time to read this any help/suggestions would be great

  • Sound Loop with a button

So I used the tutorial on this page to make a button that
turns sound on and off (it is the only one I could find that
    actually works):
    [URL="
    http://www.entheosweb.com/Flash/flash_sound_button.asp"
But the only problem with it is that the sound does not loop.
I've found scripts that make sound loop, but I can't figure out
where to put it into this code.
PLEASE HELP ME! This was supposed to be done last week, and I
don't like telling the customer that I don't know how to make his
    sound loop!
Please tell me how to fit it into this code because I don't
want to make a whole new sound button. Thank you!

The movie that you linked to will only stop the sound that is
playing. Further that sound is set to only loop 7 times, so it will
stop after a little more than a minute in any case.
Have a look at this variation that I built using the existing
content. It's much simpler and actually does what you want:

  • SB Audigy 2 sound loop crashing ga

Hi i just recently purchased SB audigy 2zs from a local best buy. AFter uninstalling all my old sound drivers, i popped this baby in. Installed all the drivers, including EAX 4 and all the other goodies that came with the CD. I started to load up a game, and it would play for a little while (under 5 minutes) then have a quick sound loop and boot me to the desktop. I just thought it was some flaw, then i tried to reload the game, and load it up, and same thing happens, i change the Dxdiag sound to normal acceleration and it still has the same problems.
    my Computer is using

I just checked the sound tab on dxdiag and it said this.
The file ctaud2k.sys is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.
Is there any way to make it digitally signed?

If you appied the driver updates (or if you didn't, you should! They fix stuff.), sometimes the installer installs the driver files but they don't get registered properly. You can check if this happend by going into Device Manager and clicking the properties/driver tab and seeing what it is labeled. You might have a label of the 402's that used to be signed before you ran the driver update installer but now are no longer! and, if you look at the list of files below that you may find all 444 drivers, most of which do not have the signed icon to their left.
If this happened to you, simply use WinZip or WinRar to extract the downloaded driver update to a folder and locate the CTZAPP.EXE file in the driver folder. Run it, and place a check in the box the tells it to overwrite previously installed driver files and shared files. Say yes when you run it and it asks you if you really want to do that. Reboot when done. When you go back to check, your drivers will be all signed and the 444 (and signed) label will be there.
Unfortunatly, this stuff happens even if you correctly disable the virus scanner before performing the operations. But, worse happens if you leave stuff running, so yeah, make sure you close your programs in the taskbar and the virus scanners before installing software.Message Edited by Eck on -8-2004 06:0 AM

    Hey, sabermaster-
Not at the moment, though you can create your own loop effects by using triggers on the timeline.  What specific functionality are you looking for?

The only fix is a power off/on. This sometimes gets courpt files then have to run chdsk. So it does have most recent drivers and I have tried so old ones with the same effect. Today daughter was playing an online(facebook) game and same thing happen. So I put back in my first video card hd 4550 that used to not have this issue. Then started playing WOT and again got black screen and sound loop. So I am not thinking it is an video card issue since it happens with both video cards. Power supply voltage checked out okay by meter. So not sure where to go with this issue.
Only thing I am think is the ps is over power the video card through the old motherboard????

That is not very likely. The power to the video card is regulated by power circuits on the motherboard.

Which OS is installed and which type is it?
When was the last time you went to the command line and used the system file checker? sfc /scannow
Have you refreshed the swap file recently?
    How about your temp\tmp folder?
What are you using for an active antivirus\malware solution?
Which JRE are you using? Are you sure it is the most stable version?
Are you certain this is not a temperature related issue?

  • Sound looping using Swiffy export to HTML5

I am facing a problem when I export my flash using Google SWIFFY to HTML5!
It wont play my sound track layer as loop anymore. only play it once when luanching the page in HTML5 and then it stops!
I changed the settings in my Flash sound properties from Start to Event , from Repeat to Loop etc. but still not a change in exported result, can you advise me how can I get this soundtrack works as loop when I export it using Swiffy? Thanks a lot.
    Ali

Just in case anyone else comes looking into this issue....
I quote the warning message after exporting a flash file:
Swiffy Flash Extension for Win v1.1.1 [Swiffy v5.2.0]
    - Warnings -
    Streaming audio is not supported.
The only solution I've found is to copy and paste the (event) sound keyframe as many times as needed along the timeline, and set repeat/loop to 1. On-the-beat replay not guaranteed.
    The swiffy documentation:
    https://www.google.com/doubleclick/studio/swiffy/gettingstarted.html
...says sound is "partially supported", and then only by Chrome,  Safari, IE9 and Opera (no sound at all in FF).
So far, testing, IE9 doesn't play loops, but maybe Chrome will (later, at home).

  • Sound looping question

    hello everyone!
i'm pretty new to using flash (i only need to use it for a uni sound design project) and i'm having some problems.
what i'd like to do is create a button, and loop sounds in the "up" state of that button. the only problem is, that if i import the sound to the "up" keyframe and choose loop in the properties it keeps looping until the end of time. what i'd like though is it looping just in the event of the mouse being in the buttons' area. what should i do?

    1) create button
    2) doubleclick on the button (edit)
    3) create extra layer for sounds
    4) in this layer, create empty keyframes for all states (UP, OVER, DOWN, HIT);
    5) add the sound to the OVER keyframe in sounds layer, set it to SYNC: Start, Loop
    6) add the sound to the UP keyframe in sounds layer, set it to SYNC: Stop, Loop

  • Storing sounds/loops on alternate hard drives....good or bad idea? easy?

Is this something one can do during installation?
Would Logic work better or worse if all the sounds and loops were on another drive?
I have plenty of room on my main drive, so it's not about space... it's about what works better. Advice?

The general rule of thumb is that sample-instrument samples should be stored on a separate drive. This is particularly crucial if you're streaming samples from disk (EXS with "virtual memory" on, or DFD (direct from disk) as found in other sample-based plugs).
And you'll want to record audio on a separate drive as well, never on your system drive (except in a pinch) if you can help it.
For a laptop, the ideal system would be to have separate external drives for audio recording and samples. If you're working on a tower/desktop model, these additional drives can be exclusively external drives or a combination of internal and external drives.
    My system:
    • Lacie 250G (video playback) FW400
    • Glyph 250G (sample storage #1) FW400
    • OWC 350G (sample storage #2) eSATA (via eSATA PCI-e card)
    • Maxtor 500G drive (audio recording/project drive) -- internal
    Works very nicely!
