Sound Popping & Cracking - Creative Is Not The Prob

Alright, so I've been having the problems with cracking & popping for at least four years now. The problem is not the audio cards, it's a problem with the nForce chipsets. I had this problem first with my Asus Motherboard, an A8N SLI Deluxe. I tried two different video cards, the Creative X-Fi Audigy Pro, the Barracuda AC- and an external Soundblaster Li've USB audio device. I had the cracking & popping problem on all three of the audio devices. My new computer is an Asus Striker Extreme, using the nForce 680i Chipset, not the nForce 4 Chipset which my old A8N had. But the problem still continues with the popping. I have an XFi Platinum Extreme on this system, and the problem still continues. I tried to troubleshoot the problem by using an HT Claro Omega Plus+ and recieved the same problems. This problem is not with the Creative Audio Cards. It is either a problem with Asus motherboards, or the nForce chipsets. If there is anyone out there who is experiencing this problem, and is wondering why this is happening or has had the same issue and found a fix please respond here. The original thread posted by the Creative Moderator is not really read anymore by anyone since no one cares to read 9 pages and just shrugs it off. I have heard of people purchasing Abit Motherboards, or other motherboards from different companies and having no problems at all anymore. But still, I don't think I'm going into getting a new computer just for some cracking and popping. Thanks,??Hope this helps some people.

I think your observation is correct about the nForce, and Creative have also stated this themselves. However as I just brought up in the huge sticky thread, I'm pretty sure there're multiple different cracking issues that're affecting different people. The problem is that all these problems are being treated as the same thing.
The one I've affected by only seems to occur in Battlefield 242 during artillery strikes; this has been something numerous other people have said in the huge thread. If someone can give me another game that's affected in the same way I'll give it a go, but for the moment I'm slightly unconvinced that the Battlefield artillery cracking affects games other than Battlefield (I've tried Command & Conquer 3, Half-Life 2, and Company of Heroes).
I don't think my Asus P5B-Deluxe is nForce, though. I could be wrong. If it isn't, that'd indicate the nForce and Battlefield problems are entirely separate.

Lightroom Mobile is not a cloud storage service. You shouldn't treat it as a way of backing up your files. You are merely storing Smart Previews of your files in the cloud space, high-quality JPEGs of your files regardless of their original format on your desktop. The point is that they are there so you can continue editing them in a Lightroom-like environment even while away from your desktop/laptop computer. The files in Lightroom Mobile can only be used in Lightroom Mobile.
This is very different from what is offered by the Creative Cloud storage, which can be used to synchronize your files between any device (that can support the individual files).
The vast difference in how each service works and its intended use is why they are separate.

Can i just show the pop-menu gif and not the links when sending to a printer?

It could be that your signal dropped to GSM which is why it sent as a normal text. You need wi-fi, 3G or HSPDA to send as an iMessage. As does the receiver

MacBook making clicking sound when moved?! not the sms HELPP

Today, i was using my MacBook and it started to make a clicking like sound when moved from side to side. I have had my MacBook for less then a week so I have no idea what could have happened. The computer has not beed dropped or anything! It is not the sms because I turned it off to see if the noise would still happen, and it did. Also this happenes when the computer is off. I cannot take it to a store because the closest one to me is an hour away.

Normally, a clicking sound would be an indication of a bad HD or if the Superdrive is trying to read a damage disc. Personally, since its a week-old computer, I'd take a one hour drive than taking the chance of the HD failing after the warranty expired. You can try calling Apple as well (1800APPL). You should still have FREE phone support.

Please Help! HDMI sound playing from laptop and NOT the TV

Synopsis: Installed Windows 8.1 on new SSD on my Toshiba P75-A7200. I stalled all the drivers from Toshiba website. Everything works except now my HDMI audio does not play on TV play from laptop. I reinstalled the original v. of Intel HD Graphics 4600 and Conexant Smart Audio HD drivers. I also looked in the volume control panel and sound playback options looking for HDMI setting with no luck. Has anyone encountered this? OR have an idea how to get my audio working with HDMI cable to TV?
I checked different HDMI cables to be sure it wasn't a bad cable.

Sound Problems with Ipod. NOT the headphones

Hello, a few days ago i was using my ipod and all the sudden there was no music coming out of my right headphone. I just thought it was the headphones so i bought new headphones. But that didn't solve the problem. This has happened to me before on an ipod but i could return it to the retailer i got it from, but now it is too late.
There is no sound coming from the right headphone but if i move the headphone jack around and push it in more, then i get audio in the right headphone. I have a 5.5 Generation iPod 30GB. Any ideas would be greatly thanked

I'm not a big techie but I had this problem and i took my 5th Gen 60GB to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store in Regent Street, London and they knew exactly what the problem was.
The iPod has a weak point in the headphone socket. If pressure is exerted on the headphone jack whilst it is in the socket it weakens the socket and eventually the socket breaks (always in the right ear). The only solution to this is prevention. Always use a set of 'phones that has a short or elbow shaped jack and always remove the jack from the socket when not in use!
Sorry Patrekeosully88 but you need to contact Apple and see what they are prepared to do for you. I was lucky cos it happened before 6th Gen hit the stores and they kindly gave me a shiny new one as the case etc was in near mint condition and they could see that I had looked after it.

IPad Air (ios8) only airplays the sound to Apple TV. Not the image.

What could be wrong? If I choose Mirroring, it works. I get both image and sound, but then obviously the image is the shape of the iPad, and not full screen, if you know what I mean. When i choose normal airplay, and press play on an HBO video f.eks., the iPad screen is black, but the sound is playing on the tv.
Same on my iPhone 4s btw. This all happened after the update. Worked fine before.

Apple TV not working for me either, i'm on able mirror any of my devices, If I swipe up I get the Apple TV icon, but it doesn't connect.
all Devices are on the same network. It's was all working before I updated to iOS 8.2. its not working with anything, is this a new faluit with iOS 8? Any know of a fix.

Having problem downloading creative cloud (not the apps)

I am having problem downloading the creative cloud itself. It first said error 201. Then I downloaded the installer a second time. It is now stuck at a fifth of the entire download for the past half hour. What to do?

If you are using Windows please cancel the current installation. Once the installation is canceled please rename the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE folder to OOBE_old. Once the folder is renamed please try installing the Creative Cloud Desktop application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

If you are not getting any sound from the speaker, follow this article.
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker

Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:

Pop / crack / clip sound on fade

Hi!
I can't resolve a sound problem: when I put a fade on one or two tracks of my 12 channles project, sound at start and end of fade is making pop/crack sound. I "delete the propertie" (excuse me if it's not the good name of the function, I'm french) but it's still there. Sometimes when a rendering is deleted, the crack is moving… all sounds are on same rate, I erased all the render files but still there. Each sound individually is Ok but together… is it maybe a frequency problem? Some bass that we human can't hear but that makes the machne go buggy?

everthing is in 48kHz
it's not spoken word it's not really music it's sound effects, could sound like music…
audio timeline is in dynamic mode (I tried high or low, same thing)
in prfernce I'm now in high quakity 4 audio realytime (but with 6 & low quality, same problem…)
so all seems OK,
trashed the setting, restart change ausio autput from DV to serial out… still crack & pops, sometimes also when I just press stop! It's not just a playing bug because when I export the project in aiff, the pops are still there and Soundtrack with it's crack repair is making it worse.
I think it must be a problem of frequencies…

It sounds like you are trying to change the Apple ID logged into the iTunes & App Stores on your iPhone. Use these steps:
Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.

Creative Applications not available on the website? Not fair

I was recently re-installing windows on my pc, which i built my self, so i don't have any tech support...but i had come to the realisation that i no longer had the drivers or software pack with Surround Mixer and useful applications such as that. Now after moving that i didn't have the disk because of moving to the east coast, i was no longer able to use my $400 5. surround sound system to its full extent on my Sound Blaster Audigy LS... It frustrates me to find that all i can get on the internet after searching for weeks, is updates to the software and not the core install file. Why would Creative not include these applications on their website? They seem to be worth no more than drivers and they are needed to completly control you sound system so im sure that risk of pirating isnt it...i just don't get it. Anyone who can help me in anyway i would be most thankful.

I don't know so much about the soundcards, but normally although they are called updates they are actually just updated full installs. Try them and see. Failing that I'm sure Creative will send you a new install CD, albeit for a minimal cost.
