Sound problem. help me pls

Help me pls i have hp pavilion dv 7 1125ea and i dont find my driver. Itry lick this.
1.install MS UAA
2.install IDT audio driver but this driver give me this error... the hardware detected is not supported by this idt software package. the install will be aborted....pls help me and sorry for bad english
I need for windows XP. Ty

Ordered system restore cd's. Restored back to factory settings. My sound problem is fixed. I hope this helps you out.

Ipod Sounds Problem (Noise) OMG PLS HELP !!!

Ok guys,
I have a Ipod Classic 80G ...
All the functions works fine, songs, sync, movies, pictures (yay) !
But i week ago my ipod start to make a noise sound when i play my musics/movies !
The noise sounds is similar when ur listening to a very bad quality song ...
To understand the song i have to put the volume at MAX, but comes out really LOW and all noise and if i put the volume in LOW ... well cant hear nothing ... only noises !
I cant say if im the responsable for that prob ... cuz its all started when my Ipod battery got at 0% ... so i was recharging the battery and my pc crashed and Ipod disconnected and after that THIS PROB started ><
Firts i restored the Ipod ... lose all songs/movies/pictures =(
But the problem still happening ...
I tried squeezing the top right corner but no quality restored ...
So wut should i do to fix this problem ? Someone pls enlight meh here !
Should i take to Ipod's specialist ? or a Hammer will do the job ? Just Kidding xD
Perhaps the Sound Board got screwed !?

I have this same problem! From what I have read so far it seems to be the headphone jack that is the issue. Apparently you can change these out but I don't know if I am brave enough to try it.
I did have some luck with pulling the headphone plug out a bit. This seems to be a temporary fix but really in this case you are no longer connected and it is easy for the plug to fall out of the jack.

Sound Problem - help

Hello I have Compaq CQ58 notebook. Yesterday, I tired to plug my headphones into my notebook and suddenly noise quality decreased. Also, there was a burning smell emitting out of my notebook. Please advice -- what might be the problem and how much it will cost to fix it. Today, I turned back on my computer and internet is working. But sound quality is still bad (with and without headphones plug in).

The ghost of my teenage past would say, "Wow! Bummer!"
Computers are not supposed to burn, emit burning smells, smoke, emit sparks... You get the picture.
You might take that notebook to a qualified tech and have it looked at to determine what happened and what it will take to get it fixed. Long distance diagnosis is not an option.
Frankly, if any of my notebooks emitted a smell of something burning, I would turn off the unit and not use it until I had it apart to see what happened to the inside.

Iphone 4 sound problem, help?

Hello, basically I have the Iphone 4, and im having such an annoying problem with the sound and cannot find a solution anywhere!
When im using my phone to listen to music or speak on the phone, my volume works perfectly, no problems at all, yet when i go to on any of my apps NO VOLUME whatsoever, also my phone doesnt make a noise when someone rings or messages me, its not on silent, ive checked all the settings aswell,h
when i press the volume buttons on the side of the phone the volume doesnt change, it doesn't even come up on the screen that its going up or down, same when i switch it from silent mode, to non silent mode.
ive tried reformatting the device, also updated to 1S07, this problem is still happening.
someone has to know what to do right?! hahaha.

New 3510nr sound problem help!!

I bought a new 3510nr through best buys and I bought it for its fast performance and excellent screen.I am having a problem with quieter sound through the speaker when paying a movie on the DVD drive using media player or the onboard hp software. The sound from a music file is fine and plenty loud and so are video clips in yahoo or any other software source.I hope some one canhelp with this as Im scared to go around with HP consumer service. Has any other users had this problem. I repeat the speaker volume is fine on all sources except the DVD player, and in control panel all volume adjustments are on full. In addition to this my video files moved from xp to vista 64 dont show up but play as AVI's. Is there something I have to upload to play all my video clips that formally played in xp. I dont want to return this laptop to best buys...can someone please help or am I in for the run around?????

As we have exchanged the 848P motherboard twice and increased the PSU from 450W to 500W ensuring that all the minimum AMP requirements have been met, (particularly for +12V rail), without success, the memory is next. We have literally upgraded everything else except the case and still nothing posts
The next step we are going to try is a different brand of memory. As indicated in other forums, it seems that the 848P motherboard performance is more or less volatile/compatble depending on the brand and perhaps the CL of the memory being used. Perhaps changing from Corsair ValueSelect VS512MB400 to a Kingston will at least allow the BIOS to post. ...one can only hope
Depending on the cost of the memory, I will hopefully be able to post the results of my attempts with the Kingston hopefully soon

hi! I bought a laptop GP60 leopard and ran into a problem when listening to music and other audio and video I interrupted sound. reinstall the audio drivers does not help. else noticed that the more I do the volume, the greater the sound is interrupted

Would you like to try the following scenarios to see if the interrupted sound still exist?
1. Keep or remove Sound Blaster Cinema (for checking software cause).
2. Using the AC adapter or using the battery (for checking hardware cause).
3. Enable / Disable WiFi or Bluetooth device (for checking hardware cause).

NO SOUND PROBLEM HELP PLEASE!

i have a lenovo g580 and it has been owrking fine since i got it (christmas) until a week ago.
I turned on my laptop in the morning and i message pops up saying that it cannot connect to the dolby advanced audio driver, reinstall it if the problem persists. but startup sounds and youtube sounds would play, nothing else. so i turn it on the next day to fix it and there is no sound AT ALL. so i hover over the sound icon and it says no audio output device is installed. so i try to fix it day after day. then yesterday i turn it on and reinstall some drivers and stuff and now it says no headphones or speakers are plugged in and under playback devices, my speakers dont show up.

Here,
Make sure to un-install the Audio driver first under Device Manager
   > Open device Manager
   > Go to sound, video and game controllers
   > Look for Realtek High Definition Audio or High Definition Audio
   > Right click on it and select uninstall put a check on Delete the driver software for this device
Check you Control Panel / Programs and feature / Uninstall a program list for any Realtek Audio and Dolby Advanced audio.
Uninstall both
If non then just proceed to the next step,
Download and install this first
Realtek Audio Driver
0lau07ww.exe
187MB
After installation go to
Your Drive "C:" under My Computer then go to
               /Drivers
               /Realtek Audio Driver
               /PCEE4
               /DolbyAdvancedAudio.msi
Install the DolbyAdvancedAudio.msi.
Then Restart your computer and Check your sound.

Unzip to a folder..use Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on HD",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.
Reboot.

I have tried several different power connections. Now I have connected a cable directly from the power supply unit.
Another problem that I have is that different games freezes my system after a while. I have tried World of warcraft and Guild wars and they both freeze after 5 to 60 minutes.
I had Audigy ZS 2 before without any problems at all and did a clean install with the new card.
The card is at IRQ 20.
I have a ATI Radeon X800 to. Is that the problem ?
Any suggestions ?

IMovie sound problem HELP!

I'm creating a music video. I've brought the volume of the video to 0% while bringing the volume of "other tracks," namely, the music, to 100% (labeled "ducking"). When I play the movie, however, the entire thing is silent. How do I fix this?

I am having the exact problem, it's a real show stopper.
I have tested hardware, software, media as below.
Tested on
1 Intel 17inch iMac
2 G4 AGP 450 + 1.2Ghz Model
Each have a fresh install of iLife 06 on
Each have been tested with different project files.
Differnet music files
The issue seems to be with apples iLife software to me.
I am on the phone to apple right now, they only surgest I create a new user as it generates new prefs, but the above test has already rulled out preference files!
Also rebuilding and reinstalling, but again the above test has rulled that out as the 3 machines were freshly built.
I have already upgraded my graphics card in my machine at home to sort out preview problems with iMovie, hopefully it's not going to be an expensive audio card aswell.
If any 1 can throw any light on this please do as apple support can't.

You could just try changing your Input Sources under System Preferences>Language & Text:
But I kind of doubt that's going to work. It may be a hardware problem or a system problem. If you take it into Apple they might be able to determine which and might advise a reinstallation of System software. I would take it to an Apple Store or an AASP but, first, make sure that you have a backup just in case they suggest a clean install of the system.

iPhone 5 sound problem: my iPhone 5 noise is only coming out thru the ear speaker and will not come out of any of the other speakers on my phone i say again it will ONLY come out my ear speaker it does it in games and in videos in music in everything! Ive reset the phone and went thru all the settings and everything to try to fix with no luck at all please help me!

fdisk formated and reinstaled windows 3 times. fresh install each time i installed a sound card. so I dont think lingering drivers is the problem which also means dx9 has been installed fresh each time.also I have been dealing with this for nearly a month and I am at a loss.

Sound problem with my iPod touch! Need urgent help!

I have an iPod Touch 8gb 3rd gen (2nd gen) and have owned it for a couple years. Recently I've been noticing some sound problems when I listen to music with earbuds/headphones. One of the earbuds will lose sound and won't produce music but if I twist the input plug it produce little or full sound but if it moves out of a certain position it won't produce sound out of that bud. I'm using Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds so I thought maybe since they arn't great it might be a manufacturer defect but I used them with my iPod Nano 2gb 1st gen and I could hear out of both earbuds perfectly. I even plugged in my iPod Touch into a car adapter so I could listen to my music through the car stereo and it went in and out of sound so I realize now it is my iPod and not 3rd party equipment I've been using with it that is the problem. Since its the iPod what is the exact problem and how do I fix it? I really don't want to use my old iPod since it doesn't have enough storage for my music now and I'm already getting something else for Christmas that I've been wanting for a while. Please help!

If your car adapter works thru the headphone jack, the problem could just be dirt inside the jack.
Try just putting in and out the headphone plug a few times. You can also try cleaning the jack, just don't use anything wet. Cotton swabs are also not advisable as they might leave lint and make things worse.
To make sure it's not a oft ware issue, try to Reset your device.
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off that shows up first).
