Sound problem - Iphone 4s upgrade to iOS6

After upgrading 4s to iOS6, sound lags and distorts, also volume slider set to minimun is still loud.
Any suggestions?

After charging the phone with a Philips music-dock-station and fiddling with the volume buttons on the dock,
the sound seems to be back to normal.
Could be worth a try...

Sound problems after system upgrade

I am having intermittent sound problems on my ipad2 after I upgraded to 6. When this occurs my volume control doesn't work. This problem occurs sometimes in the middle of playing a video.

i reinstalled alsa-driver, run depmod -a & then try to load the modules & it doesn't work! i always get :
Can't locate module snd-pcm-oss
that happens with all the modules i try to load. & my modules are still in
/lib/modules/2.4.24/kernel/sound
is there a way i can load them from there or copy them somewhere else or i don't know what else.

My iphone 4 upgraded to ios6.1.2 and the battery drained very fast.

ios6.1.1 seemed much better than 6.1.2. The new version is a disaster for battery.

Did you perform the upgrade by plugging in your phone and upgrading through iTunes? I had the exact same issue happen before because I did the upgrade through WiFi. I spoke to an Apple representative and they said that upgrading over WiFi can sometimes cause this issue. To check if you had the same problem as me, go to Settings, General, Usage, and scroll to the bottom. Look at the section called "Time since last full charge" and you'll see "Usage" and "Standby". If those two numbers are equal, they shouldn't be unless you are constantly using your phone...
Unfortunately, the only way to fix this issue is to restore your iPhone via iTunes (if you have the problem I described). However, you you back up your phone prior to restoring it, you should not lose any of your data, but all of your settings will be reset to default.

i recently upgraded my videocard from Radeon 6870 to R9 290x. Since the upgrade the hdmi audio playback sound realy delayed und noisy.

Sound problem iPhone 3G

Often the sound of the key's during writing or sound of phone speaker stops.
What can I do myself?
Should I send it back to Apple?

"If something isn’t working right, restarting, force quitting an application, or resetting

[Satellite L645d-S4036] Grahical and Sound problems post-Win10 Upgrade

Hello. Af ter upgrading to Win10, I suffered from two major issues. I rolled back to 7 until I can resolve them. 1) My sound was not working. My headset was fine, as it has it's own driver, but the Conexant sound was not functional. 2) My graphics were not working properly. If I tried to launch a game, the graphics would crash. Can anyone help me, maybe with more current drivers? Sound: Conexant CX20587 SmartAudio HD, Version 4.112.0.61 Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200, Version 8.970.100.1100 (I just updated this)

IPad3 email sending problems after. Upgrading to IOS6

I having this problem after I have upgraded my iPad 3 with IOS 5 to IOS 6. The problem is in sending email and not receiving it. Any idea what is the problem? I have tried resetting, setting up the iPad as new one and everything I can thing of .i.e. even calling the support service but nothing is rectifying it. No new ideas !
I think this is an integration problem that apple has to stream line for its IOS 6.

Sound problem iphone 4

i have just recently started to have this problem,when i receive a text normally there will be one tone but now there two tone overlapping each other and is exremely loud,i have not changed anything nor have i messed around witht he settings.I have restored my iphone numerous times but still no lucka dn the only way to fix this problem is by switching it of and it works ine for an hour before it starts again.Does anyone know what is going on?

3000 C200 (8892 - kg) model sound problem on win7 upgrade

I have a "little" problem with the sound device. Headphones does not mute the main speakers. I've been through many posts and forums. The symptoms are:
headphones wont show at all in the sound panel menu nor is there a separate volume control for them available, they wont show even in the sound advanced tab. However, when i plug in/out the headphones jack the relatek hd audio manager does show that action but it does not mute the speakers.
Here's what i tried:
I updated the BIOS to the latest version, 2.08 and payed attention to update the "realtek" bios version.
I tried many realtek drivers. I updated the lenovo system platform driver. I uninstalled all drivers than installed the intel inf update before all and then installed sound drivers again. I read somewhere to try install the alcxxx drivers first the the realtek r drivers, i did it with no sucess. Every possible combination gave me the same result. Speakers and headphones working at the same time, no volume control for the headphones nor they're shown in the sound devices (realtek 2nd hd ouptut i guess).
I am a "little" frustrated now but calm cause i got already the name for such situations "factor X" as simple as that
Anyone has any further suggestion/idea??? Very much appreciated, thanks in advance!!!

Syncing Reminders on iPad 2 after upgrade to iOS6

I can't seem to get the reminders on my iPad to sync with my desktop and iPhone after upgrading to iOS6. I've tried the suggestions on the support community but they do not address the problem. The iPhone and desktop are synced but the iPad is not.

Thanks for your reply. The "No SIM" icon appeared right after I upgraded to iOS7. I followed the instructions about resetting the iPad, turning airplane mode on and off, resetting the SIM card. None of this helped, so I went to the Apple store, where they tried all of the above, and even installed a new SIM card. They decided it was a bad SIM card slot. I contacted the Apple hot line and talked with the for an hour and fifteen minutes. After resetting the iPad back to its original factory settings and bringing back up, they cam to the same conclusion: bad so card slot.
Pardon my cynicism, but it seems strange that so many early iPad and iPhone owners would have the same hard ware problem right after upgrading o iOS7.
Does anyone know if Apple is working on a software fix, or is this a plot to get us to buy new iPads?

Recently upgraded to ios6 and now I crash all the time

I have a 3gs and recently upgraded to iOS6. Started crashing frequently. Reloaded software from scratch, which didn't help. Then went to apple store and they updated firmware there. Still didn't help. Started troubleshooting myself. Noticed that it crashed more frequently when battery below 60%. Tried shutting off cellular data and location services, just using the iphone through my home wifi network. That helped a lot. Never crashed. Then turned back on cellular data, leaving location services off, and it still helped. Then turned location services back on and it started crashing again. So location services seems to be the culprit.
Any idea how to remedy? Keeping location services off wouldn't be a huge problem for me, though I'd prefer to have it active.
Would be nice if apple would let us downgrade as the problem started with upgraded to ios6. From what I've read, I'm hardly the first person to say this.

You might check and see if there are any Console entries about what happened when you attempted to launch a CS 5.5 app.
Adobe links its apps with the particular volume on which it is running, and altho' I can't recall specifics, I know in the past I have had to reset Adobe's settings after OS upgrade. I do recall that it's a fairly easy procedure; just don't exactly recall what it is.
BTW, CS 4 runs on Mountain Lion for me.

TS3899 Problem with e-mails after upgrade to IOS6 on iPhone 4S

I can no longer sync my e-mails (Yahoo) on my iPhone 4S after I upgraded to IOS6. It was fine with my previous version of IOS5...
I tried all of the methods suggested already (restarting device, deleting and adding mail account again) but still no luck.
Is this a bug I can fix?

Its not the carriers its the IOS 7.0.2. I never had this problem until I did this darn update. Im getting mad and about to go back to the samsung. My hubby has the same iphone 4s but didnt do the update and has no problems. Apple needs to fix this fast or Im trashing this phone

Black screen and applications problem on iPhone 4S after upgrading to iOS6

I've upgraded my iphone 4s to the iOS6, all the applications suddenly stops while I am working on it, then the phone shows a black screen and after some seconds shows the main menu screen. When I open the application again after that, things I was doing were lost. Even if I am making a call, the black screen appears, the call is muted to me for a while until when the phone shows me the main screen again and I have to tap to the call. If I am playing music, suddenly the phone shows the black screen and stops the playback, after of it, I try to recover my playback but there is no playback. And happens with everything: facebook, mails, sms, maps, among others. When I was using the iOS 5.1.1. phone was working well.
