Sound problems after storm - please help

Last night there was a thunderstorm and I plugged my mac into its charger. I was playing a video and the computer started making clicking/static noises (I forgot you should turn it off in a storm). I then turned it off, plugged it back into the charger but decided to unplug it altogether and just leave it turned off but not charging. Now everything is working fine but if I play any sound the computer still makes that same noise it made during the storm (noise seems to be coming from area where top half/screen folds to meet the bottom half).
Is there anything I can possibly do to make the noise stop?

No I don't hear any noise unless I'm playing a video on the Internet. I just tried playing the video I played last night when the noise happened and the noise happened again, but the weird thing is when I tried playing other videos from this site the noise doesn't happen.
Maybe it has something to do with that specific Internet address or something.
Also I prayed over it, which seems silly but Jesus loves to show us He cares about the small things. And it worked because the noise stopped! God loves us so much

Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)
either way, ill do what you suggested to the best of my abilities and thank you so much for answering my questions, i can't even open the program as its incompatible and find out the info from that) so I'm in a bit of a pickle and your response was so thorough and it didn't seem to be posted long enough to even write a well researched response, thanks, all the best,

Per my understanding that you can't get the expect result by using the expression "=Count(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4) " to count the the TICKET_STATUS which value is 4, the result will returns the count of all the TICKET_STATUS values(206)
but not 180, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
=COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
or
=SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))

Do you get sound on any apps e.g. Music and Videos but not others ? If you do then have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Sound problems after export media in premiere pro cs6

i recently started usining premiere c6 and after exported my project to mpeg-dvd i noticed that sound quality is reasonably lost, than exported sound separatedly without video to wav and result was the same bad. The imported sound source was really good, recorded in studio- wav 24 bit 48000. Before i used cs3 and never had such a sound problem after export video.

It means, the URLLink.ACSM file is corrupted. Please contact the book store and ask them to check whether the configuration in the server side is correct for that book.
One of the simple setting in the server which can case this issue is, setting the book for loan in server and providing the purchase option in the book store or vise verse.

Suddenly no sound... Please help. Been trying to fix it for last 3 hrs.

Can someone please help me with this no sounds issue. I've been trying to fix it for the last 3 hrs. until I've reached the point of wanting to hurt it. So I'm really hoping someone has had this problem before and knows what to do.
I've checked all of my settings. Everything to do with the ringtone sound as well as alerts, the sounds it makes when you send or recieve text.. Just non of the sounds at all work. Not even the clicking sound that the keyboard makes.
I've turned it off and back on after a min or two. I'm at my wits end.
I don't know what else to do. It's the iphone 3G.

Yes, I feel really stupid, but that's okay as long as it works now. I don't know when I did it, but that was it! I had at some point hit that switch and it never occurred to me at all to check that. In fact.. I really forgot it was even there.
If it didn't cost so much, phone would've met wall a hour and a half ago.

HI GUYS I HAD LOTSA MESSING WITH NO SOUND IN FLASH PLAYER 10.VIDEO AT FIRST THEN NOTHIN AT ALL.
THEN AFTER UNINSTALLING AND THEN RE INSTALLING ,ICHECKED AGAIN ,YET AGAIN NO VODEO /OR SOUND. I THEN WENT TO TOOL BAR,CLICKED ON TOOL OPTION AND CHECKED THAT FLASH PLAYER WAS ENABLED ,BELIEVE IT IT WAS NOT. I ENABLED FLAS PLAYER THEN WENT BACK ON YOU TUBE AND WOW __EE THERE IT WAS WORKING LIKE A REAL GOOD ONE

No sound on most games--please help!

I am having some kind of problem with my sound on my iMac. I don't know what caused it, or if I did something wrong myself, but here is the problem...
On most--but not all, of my games...there is no sound. Some games DO have sound (not many), some games have sound only on an opening screen & then have no sound afterwards, and a few won't load at all (I get a pop-up notice saying there is some sort of error w/ the sound (I forget the exact wording) and the game will not load).
I am pretty sure that I'm having no hardware problems as all the chips, drives & everything else--passed all the tests on "Tech Tool Deluxe" and there is no problem with the sound on any other type of app other than games (iTunes, Quicktime, Dvd Player, etc.--sound works fine).
I have run permissions repair on Disk Utility (nothing came up to be repaired BTW) and I have restarted (including completly shutting down--and pulling the power cord out of the wall), and I have tried reinstalling several games (the problem does not seem to be with the games...they have exactly the same problem after reinstall. That makes me think the problem is w/ OSX software that communicates the sound data between the game software and the speakers or whatnot).
I hope somebody out there can advise me on what best to do.
~Just FYI...my entire disc is cloned to an ext. HD using "SuperDuper" (I'm a bit worried that the problem could be cloned to the HD along w/ everything else though). I never had to do a system restore or anything like that, but I should be able to do one if it is necessary.
