Sound problems after updating to ios7?

Even though the sound IS turned on, all games are without sound after the update - how do I get the sound back? Is it possible to reverse the update?
because I don't like it one bit!

Welcome to the HP Community! I see that you are having some issues with your audio. Part of the problem could be that there are no specific drivers for your model for Windows 8.1. Did you use the one driver for Windows 8 from the download page for your model? If not can you provide me with the link that you used?

I finally updated my iPad2 to the ios 7.0.4. I have tried to restore it from my itunes account and it goes through the process but after it is done and restarts, it takes me back to the setup again. Any suggestions on what to do?

Mute/Silent button is not working on my iPhone 4 after updating to IOS7. When I make my phone silent using that sliding button on the side, the phone toggles between mute/unmute position automatically and settles in unmue position. Then it will change state again if I shake the mobile. Did anyone face this issue?

I have this problem too - and it is on a BRAND new iPhone 6 - I have definitively tracked the issue to the moment I upgraded to iOS 8.1.2 - and am beyond frustrated. Re wifi:
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. After updating to ios7, I can't use imessaging and get notifications to connect to iTunes to use push notifications...I don't have a computer I can use to restore my phone...what do I do?

I have the same problem as you. iMessage has been "waiting for activation" over 12 hours now, and I get the same message everytime I use an app that requires notifications. You can restore from an iCloud backup, if you had iCloud backups enabled. Restoring the phone might fix it, but this is likely related to server problems which Apple usually experiences during an upgrade. Many people are having this issue.

HDMI sound error after updating to 10.8.5

Hi everyone,
Im using the latest mac mini with 2.3 quad-core ML version 10.8.5 and a small LCD TV as a screen. Low frame rate killing my eyes but that's my only option for now.
Now the problem: after updating my mac, when I boot it up, sound is fine. After waking up from sleep, it's gone. It has to be the update because I did not make any other significant changes.
It's not urgent but it would be great if someone knew the solution.

Updates typically trigger issues with Digital sound that are best resolved through the Audio Midi Setup tool under Applications -> Utilities. Sometimes zapping the PRAM can also help a newer machine such as yours. If you have an older machine than 4 years, don't zap it before checking the PRAM battery, which is separate from any battery that lets you run off the mains on a notebook Mac.

Wireless printing - from shipping sites - not working after update to iOS7

I am no longer able to print shipping labels from PayPal or USPS after updating to iOS7. I am able to print emails, etc. from other sites online - just not shipping labels. Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there a fix?

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then restart the device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, then swipe the slider to power off.
Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Then try printing.

IPad won't turn on after update to ios7

After updating to ios7 on my iPad, it would keep resetting itself and show the apple logo until finally starting up. Over a few days this got worse and worse and eventually stopped working where I would have to hold the home and on/off buttons to reset it. I have now reached a point where it no longer starts up. Having went to an apple store they say they can't identify the issue as they can't start it up and offered me to pay £199 to have it replaced (how very nice of them). I have had online chats with an advisor and a senior advisor who have diagnosed this as a 'hardware' issue!!!
Guess what apple, no it is not, this is a result of the updgrade to ios7!!! My iPad worked perfect before and I will not be paying £199 to replace it!!!
If anybody else has had similar problems please let me know.
