Sound, Restarting and Email Msgs not working

Recently I have had problems where the sound just stops working. The profiles are not changing and it works for awhile, but then I start to notice the red light flashing and no sound. The only way to get it back is to do a hard reset (I've found).
Also, my phone decides to restart a lot . . . why and how do I get it to stop?
This morning, going into my messages folder where all my notifications go, I can click on any type of notification to see it, except for the email messages. I click and it just does nothing. I've already tried reseting and this has not worked.
Please help!

It's ok, I fixed it.
I got an iPhone 5. Bravo to apple for making me buy another one of their products.

Assuming that you tried to install Win 7 in bootcamp.
Power on the machine and press and hold the "option" key when you hear the bong sound.
Select the Macintosh HD icon and press "return" or just click on the icon.
Once booted into OS X go to System Preferences and select the Startup Disk icon and configure startup to use the Macintosh HD.

Try this:
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
See if you are able to connect now.

Sound Card and Wifi device Not working - Compaq Presario CQ60 -109EM AMD Sempron

I need a driver for my new note book Compaq Presario CQ60 109EM for Windows XP sp2 operating system.
It was on Vista Home Basic. I hated it because it made the computer ran very slow, i downgraded to XP Sp2
by myself, but now i am getting issues with all drivers. Everything is not working, the worse one is the sound
card and wifi device are not working event not detected by xp. Please help me.

grr i have the same problem, my laptop is the same model as urs. Go to Nvidia.com for the graphics card driver, the graphics card for our laptops is the nvidia geforce 8200 m card, just search it into the download section (it will ask you to). I cant get the internet working but im usin a usb modem. The webcam can be activated by going to the start menu and right clicking my computer and going to the manage option from here go to the device manager.
Go to the yellow section and it will say other devices it will say hp webcam now download a youcam driver or whatever and right click on the hp webcam
and select update driver click on this time only and select download from a spesific location and select the webcam driver it will hopefully work and be removed from the yellow section. now using a webcam veiwer you can use it. Thats all i know so far but i really would like to get my sound working mainly because on xp on this laptop it is pretty powerful for games as i can run crysis at medium settings at an exeptional level but obviously, NO SOUND GRR.....

Sound buttons and mute switch not working

My iPhone 4 has no sounds through the phone speaker except when I play music. It works fine through a dock or bluetooth in my car.
Also, the side 'sound buttons' do not work. ie - when I switch the mute switch to either on or off (and it becomes orange) nothing shows on the screen, also when I push the volume buttons up or down, nothing comes up on the screen.
I have tried: turning it on and off, resetting it, cleaning the charging port with a dry brush, checking the settings to make sure it should be playing sounds, inserting head phones a few times.
I have recently updated to the new 6.1 iOS update, but it was doing this before I updated it.
I can't think of anything notable that happened when it started doing this a few days ago. Seems random...
Also, my iPhone has had sound problems before (speaker crackling and not working) but the side buttons still registered on the screen, and also I could fix it by charging it.
Anybody got any handy hints?? Cheers.

I want to remove the 3.5.1 firefox but constantly ask me to restart and again does not work out

I upgraded the mozila firefox 3.5.1 (en-US) yesterday and restart my computer but since then it constantly gives me the sign of restart and as a result I cannot have access to my yahoo mails etc.
I download the new version of firefox hoping that will go over the last one which did not and I still have the same problem.

There is no way to delete by album or artist only by song.

Update - TERMINAL appears in dock and email does not work. Help.

What is terminal? How do I get email back.

Sound Volume and Eject Keys Not Working

I installed 10.4.3 from the DVD on a G4. After the installation the sound keys (volume up, down and mute) and the eject key on the Apple Pro keyboard no longer work. They also don't show up on the Keyboard Viewer.
Anyone have a fix for this?

I found some info on another website that indicated that having an outdated version of USBOverdrive can cause problems like this. I checked and sure enough I had that installed (I think my son did it and didn't tell anybody - not unusual...). I downloaded the newest version of USBOverdrive and the keyboard problem went away.

IPhone 3G - WiFi, Voicemail, and Email Passwords Not Working

I've done a lot of searching online and can't find anyone that has this exact problem. First off this is NOT a jailbroke/unlocked phone. I have three main problems.
1. Everytime I turn on my phone it asks for my voice mail password.
2. I cannot connect to my Yahoo email account, it keeps telling me my password is wrong
3. I cannot connect to the WiFi in my own house when security is enabled, it keeps telling me wrong password.
The voice mail password is a hassle, but after I enter it I am able to play the visual voice mails.
I have no idea why I cannot connect to my yahoo email account. I'm able to use the same account/password when I access it online as opposed to through the iPhone.
The WiFi thing is really messed up. If I remove all security from my router, and have an unsecured wifi signal, then my iPhone can connect to it. However, whether I choose WEP, WPA, or WPA2 I cannot get it to connect even if I enter the right password/key that I've applied to the router. I've tried changing every setting that I could on my router to get it to work, but my only conclusion is the phone is jacked up.
Anyone heard of this problem or know what I can do to fix it?

I went through the same thing with my 2009 Honda Fit. Select "ignore" or "discard" on the 3G (you can switch to Airplane mode but then you will not get any phone calls as airplane mode shuts down the cellphone capabilities of the 3G). Switch your radio over to "auxiliary input". Your radio screen should show "USB loading" and then start playing whatever you last had going on the 3G. Unfortunately the system blanks out your 3G screen so you cannot control what songs/podcasts you want next from the phone. You have a bit on control through the car radio dial, but its pretty klunky. After I finish listening to a podcast I unplug the 3G, select what I want next and then plug the 3G back into the car.

Gprs is in lowercase instead of captials (GPRS), internet, bbm and email are not working

Since Saturday I have not been able to use my browser, bbm or email. I noticed my GPRS is now gprs (change from capitals to lowercase) i thought this may of been, because i was away from home. However i am now home and nothing has changed and i am still unable to use these resources. I have resetted my phone various times and done everything i could think off... HELP please!!

When you say you've reset it, you've done it like this?
With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Can you travel about 5 miles so that you're connected to a different tower and do the same reboot again?

HT5622 valid apple id but not icloud account. I tried downloading on a different computer and logging in and it did not work. I have restarted my computer several times. I have changed my password several times. I have tried to access the icloud page.

You cannot download the upgrade to Snow Leopard.

Clip Speed and Transpose does not work on a sound clip

Dear All,
I am trying to slow down and change pitch of an .aiff sound clip in Soundtrack pro but the "Clip Speed" and "Transpose" does not work. I tried the same version of the clip in .mp3 format but nothing happens. It is a music clip 2 min 19sec long. What am I not aware of?
I am using 2.0.2 version and I am fairly new to the software.

Have you checked the integration services (Assuming you are using Hyper-V)?
The devices are configured based on the related services. You might need to install/Configure that thing.

For each mail account, along with designating a primary SMTP server, you should be able to just turn off any and all other SMTP servers you have listed. In that case, if there is a problem with comcast, the message send should just fail.
Also make sure your comcast smtp settings are correct (port, likely 587 but might be something else for comcast, whether you should be suing SSL or not, do you need authentication or not).
You might find the comcast forums useful for getting the settings right - I found this:

The second poster notes, SSL should be on, authentication should be "password" and you should be using port 995
