Sound status not showing.

With the new update (ios 7.1) it has come to my attention the now no longer the sound status bar is no longer displayed when altering the sound level via the buttons.
Snthis a problem with the update or my device?

I use a wireless KB. When I change the sound level, the status thing appears in the middle of the screen.
You might try resetting the device (hold the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears).

My downloaded text sounds do not show up under the sounds tab in settings after installing 8.1.1. can someone help me please?

i downloaded a couple text tones and since installing 8.1.1, they will not show up under the sounds tab. in fact, they do not show up in my recent purchases on itunes, but when i go to buy them again, it says that i have already bought this tone. I just want to use the tones i paid for as the tones on my phone. not asking much.... thanks for the help. i hope someone can help me get the tones working. thank you.

This was happening to me too but only for some of my songs. I have a mac so I dunno about PCs, but for most of my ringtones I had to create an ACC version in itunes to make them short enough then turn that into a m4r and those all worked fine. But if the song was already short enough and I didn't create an ACC version and just turned the original into a m4r, then it wouldn't appear in my itunes.
so if you're on a mac:
1. go to get info, options, pick when you want the song to start and end.
     Has to be pretty short to work, 30 second or less is good
     if it's already short enough that's fine
2. right click and click 'create ACC version'
     a copy with the length you put in will appear, drag that into a folder or whatever and just type in m4r where m4a would be
     still make an ACC version even if it's the right length
Hopefully this helps someone else.

Is this happening for NPD Projects that are newly created, prior to clicking Save? Or for already existing NPD projects?

Novatel MiFi WWAN status not showing up

Hi,
I got the Novatel MiFi running in modem mode using the Novatel drivers. So far so good. But when I click the "Show WWAN Status in Menu Bar" checkbox, nothing happens. Nothing appears in the menu bar. Also the Apply button remains disabled - not sure that's as it should be.
But mainly, the WWAN status never shows in the menu bar.
Does anyone what know what I need to do to make it work? Are there some preferences I could delete? Other ideas?

By modem mode, do you mean wired using the USB port? If true, I would not expect it to show up as a wireless WAN connection. It would be a USB attached modem.

IPMP groups status not showing

Hi ALL,
I have 2 V880 nodes with SUN cluster3.1U3. In one node is not showing IPMP Group status.

scstat -i should show atleast one IPMP group on running the command. In your output, you are not seeing any IPMP group.
Udate with your ifconfig output.

Video and/or sound will not show in Adobe Photoshop 12 for m2ts files.

I have just added Adobe Photoshop 12. The m2ts videos will either: 1) not show with a black screen and have video; or 2) will show but have video for only 30 seconds. HELP! I've read the forums, and I've tried everything I could find as suggested. Nothing fixes BOTH issues. I'm ready to return product and go back to 8.0.

Sometimes it pays to munch the video file through the Adobe Media Encoder app, even if it's going to come out in the same format as before. This app is free and gets installed along with Captivate but you can also download it from the Adobe website. It seems to make videos compatible with Captivate.

AirPort status not showing up in menu bar...

I just started up my computer, and looked at the menu bar for the status of my AirPort connection, and found that it's not shown...
Nothing in the troubleshooting manual tells me how to turn it on-- it only tells me that it should always be on.

Try the following ...
o Launch System Preferences
o Show > AirPort
o On the AirPort tab, enable "Show AirPort status in menu bar"

Headphone sound bar not showing

on my ipod touch 4th gen the sound bar doesn't show when i plug in my headphones, but when i take them out the sound bar is there, like it should be!
can you help me?

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.
Try the following to rule out a software problem
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. Seems you have a bad headphone jack or other hardware problem.

Forms component status not showing 'Up'

10gR2 BI, forms and reports, on Solaris 10. After starting up AS via Application Server Control, the Forms status shows 'Down', yet I can log into our forms app. The status seems to only change to 'Up' after the first login/access. Is this normal behavior? Be nice if all the components that are truly up and available show 'Up'.

This is normal behaviour, since the application only loads after the first login (not on startup).

IW32 After business closer operation status not showing CLSD

Dear Friends,
I have a query here. For PM orders system status gets updated as per business transaction. Operation status also gets changed as per header status. But it is okay till technical completion and operation staus gets set as TECO. But after business closer of the order still operation showes TECO status in place of CLSD .
Any clues on this please? Is this the standard feature or I need to search for OSS notes to be applied?

I am having a similar issue. I did mine through the mail and I went to the store and they scanned my card and did it to where it didn't charge me the $30 in store. I went to my account to check my status the last two days to see if my status changed to the unlock and it hasnt, games I go through checkout to pre-order don't show the 20% off.

Gamer's Club Unlocked Status not showing up online

Good afternoon,
A few weeks ago, I ordered the Gamer's Club Unlocked card online for $30 and had it shipped to me. I then took it into a Best Buy to get it activated to my Best Buy account. Two hours later (and after the staff had spoken to managers and the online support), they still could not figure out how to activate the Gamer's Club Unlocked card and scanned in another one to try to activate that one on my account. The staff member then said it would take a few hours to register, and just gave me the 20% off of the games I was purchasing that day.
However, I logged on today to see if my Gamer's Club discount was active on my account, and it does not appear to be. Some help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Regrettably, I can only direct you back to the store for assistance with getting the membership properly activated. If the store follows the directions on the back of the card, it should be a simple process and should the store need assistance, they have a support line they can contact to help bridge the gap in their knowledge. You may even want to show them this post to help them out, should they need it, though they should be aware of this support line.

Completion Status not showing in LMS

My customer is integrating my AICC compliant output with his
Saba LMS via url (so course structure files)
The course launches fine, but after it is completed, the
results (complete/incomplete) and even the course is not in the
transcript.
From research (

I believe the issue is with the exitAU
I have modified the html as suggested
Comment out the following line:
var w = varWindow.open("","mm_exitAU",…
Add a new line:
var w = null;
however still no luck.
I should mention that this course consist of 35 unique .swf
files, and 11 of those files are made up of quizes that the
students take. These files are branching, so you launch the course
from one file and then can continue on to other sections when each
is complete without returning to the original launch file.

Hi, I am having similar issues under slightly different conditions...
I am using:
Captivate 7
SCORM 2004
Template: SendTrackingDataAtEnd
Cornerstone LMS
Multiple Browsers: IE8, Firefox, Chrome
About 10% of my users are unable to complete their training even though they satisfy the completion criteria (view 70% of the slides.)
No matter how many times they review the content, the LMS still shows the online lesson as 'In Progress.'
I tested a sample course on the Scorm Cloud and it worked fine and showed completion across multiple browsers... Does this mean it is purely an LMS issue? How might I change my captivate file to send the time/completion data in a different way that my LMS may receive more frequently/efficiently?

Message: read status not showing....

I used to send sms and the status of the message always appear either "delivered" or "read at.." But now it's always showing only "delivered".... What happened? Can anyone help?

SMS (green bubbles) has neither delivered reports on an iPhone. Only iMessage (blue bubbles) does. If you send an iMessage it will always give you a delivered report. However, it will only give you a read report if the recipient has that featured enabled in Settings>Messages>Show Read receipt.
