    Hi Cat
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to provide some feedback.
First I will start with the positi've. Windows XP drivers for my X-Fi Fatalty are fine, the DVD-Decoding works and I can listen to my DTS Audio and also play my games with no problems, in fact?the audio sounds vibrant and rich all in all using the?X-Fi on Windows XP is an enjoyable and worthwhile investment.
    However
I have a few not quite so positi've things to report about Windows Vista. (x64 with SP).
) DTS Decoding is no longer possible (Why is this when the driver 2.5.006 is the same version as XP?!?)
    2) No?WaveRT support?!? The X-Fi in theory supports WaveRT under Windows Vista, yet? year after Vista's release the drivers?still do not support this.
3)?Snap, Crackle and Pop. Every now and then I hear the odd pop or crackle, I am unable to trace down why this is happening. It is rare but frequent enough to notice.
    4) Skipping music, again rare but noticeable sometimes music "skips" the odd few milli seconds.
5). Terrible Sound Stutter in Crysis, this maybe a problem with the game as oppose to the drivers, but I thought I would mention it just in case.
    6) Half-Life 2/Source Engine games?with ALChemy have odd sound issues (levels are not quite right as well as audio being clipped) and speaker configuration not being detected?I have discussed this with Daniel Peacock (Creative ALchemist) he has also noticed that the sound is not quite the same under Vista as it is with XP.
    My system
    Intel(r) Core 2 Extreme QX9650 "Yorkfield" 2MB cache
ASUS P5E3 Motherboard with latest BIOS (0904)
    4GB?of Patriot?DDR3 RAM (600Mhz CL7) @ 333Mhz
    nVidia Geforce G92 8800GTS 52MB
    Creative X-Fi Fatalty Soundcard (64MB X-RAM) Latest Drivers 2.5.006
Seagate 7200. 500GB HDD with latest Firmware
Pioneer 22BK DVD-R with latest Firmware
    Enermax 720W Infiniti PSU
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate x64 w/SP and Windows XP (x86) w/SP2
Please could you pass all of these concerns onto Development along with my system specifications.
    Thank you
If possible could Creative provide a regular Beta driver with beta feedback forum that way we can all hopefully quash the X-Fi Driver Gremlins present under Vista and at the same time dispel any wild conspiracy theories Re: "Driver crippling"?
    Kind Regards

  • IPhone Feedback Link?

I was reading through the iPhone>Phone forum and I noticed a couple of posts requesting if anyone knew where to leave feedback for Apple in regards to the iPhone and when I went to check on the http://www.apple.com/feedback/ page for a link to post for them I was surprised to find it still is not there.
Is this something that normally takes awhile after the release of a product to have a feedback link posted there?
It didn't make sense to me that it wasn't there with such a huge product release as this. I assume one could post feedback for the iPhone to the iPod feedback link but that seemed rather confusing and not really appropriate for the seperate product of the iPhone.
Anyone know what's up with that?
    regards,
    littleshoulders [:-)

Good call, littleshoulders. I've been hoping that one would show up soon, too ...
If I recall correctly, it took a wee while before the Apple TV feedback form showed up (after the Apple TV went on sale). Fingers crossed, It'll just be a short delay with an iPhone feedback form.
It maaaaaay also be of some help if we submit a feedback request for a product feedback form. Thinking that the Apple.com feedback form might be the best one for that:

  • Where is the Feedback Link

Everytime I post to the Discussion List, they say I should send a note to "Feedback"
That is fine, but finding the "feedBack" link is not easy.
Why isn't the "FeedBack" link on all of the Discussion List pages/sections/products???

Jack McDonald wrote:> Why isn't the "FeedBack" link on all of the Discussion List pages/sections/products???
It is. Scroll down to the bottom right of every forum/category page, and you will find the link Contact Us.
Have a look at all the products there. The Website Feedback for example is on the bottom right of that page, and contains links to Apple.com, Apple Support, Developer, Products, QuickTime, and Search Feedback.

  • Website feedback link?

www.oracle.com and otn.oracle.com would have to be about the only commercial websites on the planet that do not have a readily accessible "feedback" link off the main page or "contact us" pages.
I can't imagine how many bad links and so on that go unreported because it is just too difficult to figure out how.
Suggest you put those links in palce ... even if they just link to a forum like this

Oracle is "unbreakable" as well as it's website, don't you know that? ;)

  • What is the Feedback link?

Not liking what I see with iOS 7 download. My "new" experience with my iPad 3 is less than impressive. What is the Feedback link to express my concerns?
    Thanks.

  • Why won't Youtube, Bandcamp, and even Firefox's own Feedback link, recognise that I am in fact using the latest version of Firefox?

I automatically update my Firefox, but certain websites resolutely claim I'm using an 'outdated browser', notably Youtube, Myspace, Bandcamp, and even (I've just discovered) Firefox's own Feedback link. Are they making an assumption based on the fact that I still use Windows XP, or is there something - a setting, maybe - that I can adjust? From the Troubleshooting Info I've pasted below, it looks like the 'User Agent' line is the problem; but what do I do about it?

Try resetting your user agent string.
Type '''about:config''' into the location bar and press enter. Accept the warning message that appears, this will take you to a list of preferences.
In the search box at the top type '''general.useragent'''
Right-click on each entry that appears and select '''Reset''', this will set the value back to the default value. If it is already set to the default the reset option will be greyed out.
Restart Firefox and it should correctly identify your version of Firefox.

  • Is there a feedback link?

Is there a feedback link for the AirPort Express like there is for an iPhone? I'd like to send some feedback about the need for them to update the Express to 'n' so that it can work with the Extreme set on 'n.' I want the Express, I just don't want to run in b/g compatible mode.

It doesn't look like it. But there is one for the AirPort Extreme at www.apple.com/feedback/airportextreme.html

  • Adding a Feedback Link.....

I am using RH7 to create an on-line User Guide for a software
application. The project is being tested by a group of select users
that I would like to get feedback from.
How do I place a feedback link in the project that is always
available so they can click it from any page or place within the
    project?
Thanks, in advance, for any advice.

    Welcome to our community, Don
The logical choice here would seem to be to define a
Template. Then enable a Header or Footer in the Template. Insert
the Feedback link there and apply the Template it across all your
projects so all topics have the template attached.
It may sound convoluted, but overall (even if you had 1,000
topics) the whole process would consume less than five minutes.
    Cheers... Rick

  • A question concerning implementing a "feedback link"

    All-
My objective is to put a "Send Feedback" link in the footer of each RH-generated HTML page, to solicit user comment on the content. I've found very little on this subject. This page, from the "I'd rather be Writing" blog back in 2007, recommends adding a script like the following:
    document.write("<a href="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Application%20Name%20("+document.title+")%20%20File:%20"+location.href+"">Send Feedback</a>");
It looked promising. But it keeps giving me a Expecting")" error when I use the "Look" button in the master page. (The scripts link doesn't appear in the published footer.) However, in the script, the parans are balanced: two left, then two right.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

HI All, We are migrating fomr 3.2 explorer to 4.1 SP2 Patch1. We would like to change Feedback link form explorer main page. Currently it takes us to idea place and we would like to use our internal link. in 3.1 days we used to copy follwing statement on CMC-Applicaitons-explorer and in properties under Advance configurations.
    client.feedback.link=custom link
    client.feedback.link.visible=true
I did that and restarted tomcat but it seems it did not work

The process is still the same.. is there additional tomcat server present in your clustered environment..
In that case change in all the servers..
Also restart the explorer services once...

  • So why no forum feedback section for Apple stores?

    Hmmm..
It's clear somebody can't take constructive criticism.

This section of the boards is here to gather feedback about the discussions themeselves, and nothing else. These discussions are not the way to submit feedback to Apple about any product, it's here for troubleshooting purposes. There are some feedback pages on Apple's website, and they shouldn't be too difficult to find. Again, the only reason for this "Forum Feedback" (which is in fact called Discussions Feedback or Feedback about Discussions) is to get feedback from forum members about how to improve or simply make the forums work, Apple does not want you to give feedback about anything else here. Moreover, "forum feedback section for Apple stores" doesn't make much sense IMO.

  • Mobile Forum Feedback

The HP Support Forum has recently released a mobile optimized website. Now you can access the support forum on your smartphone at hp.com/supportforum. We would like to hear your feedback on this new capability. Please reply to this thread to submit your comments. Thanks.

    Greetings -
I used my wife's iPod Touch to browse the Forum and even to compose and post an answer last week.  It worked well, although I was not able to use bold, underline, add a link, etc.  I suppose with room at such a premium space can not be found for everything.  That being said, the mobile experience worked very well for me and seemed well planned and executed.  I was able to compose and post my reply and then later, on a laptop, go back and add the bolding, links etc.
You can also revert to the standard web site full display via a link at the bottom of each page.  Of course text in that mode is extremely small, even with magnifying reading glasses.  Using finger motion to enlarge the text results in seeing only a very small portion of the page in non-mobile mode.
Overall, after using the iPod Touch for a few hours I would say HP has done well with this, and I was using the iPT in portrait orientation.  Pages are even easier to use when held in landscape orientation.
What do the rest of you think? - Randy

  • Forum discussions link broken??

If you click on the "support" and then "discussions" link at the top of the home screen, you get this:
We're sorry, Apple Discussions are temporarily unavailable. The system should be back on-line soon
However, if you are able to link into the discussion forums (which do seem to be available) by cut/pasting a link from an E-mail notification.
    Barry

I think there was an issue with being unable to login to reply.
Considering how often in the last two days Discussions will not open; time out; and/or are more sluggish than ever, and the only place where I ever see "unavailable" is from the main page, not sub-Discussion (like Mac Pro)...
I don't see how someone would know if "local" was all of the USA or a forum, but it is only Apple Discussions.... all other web sites, Apple Store, are fine.
I did run try one link that led to "being upgraded" (http://docs.info.apple.com/)
Seems like the servers need a reboot and rebuild of the indexes - or throw more hardware at the problem... I just gave up idea of ever accessing any Discussion area yesterday. Even when I could read a discussion thread, I could NOT login, could not reply, not in any web browser - OmniWeb, Shiira, Firefox.... (and only when those don't work do I ever bother trying to use Safari).
I even tried from a good backup system.
When our 3270 'dumb terminals' would get to a 20 second delay for remote users, they would just hit enter, then go do something productive... total nightmare at that speed to get anything accomplished.

  • Is there a way to remove the "Review Feedback" link from the KC welcome page

    Hello,
I would like to clean up the welcome page by removing a few links. Some of the links I wanted to remove were use search and ask an expert. I managed to remove this by going to the server manager page within the KC.
I would also like to remove the following link "Review Feedback" but I don't see this option in the server manager page within the KC. Is the another way that I can remove this from the welcome page?
Any advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards

    Hi Tinito,
You only see the Review Feedback option if you have checked any title under "Titles Available for Feedback". If there is no title selected here, you will not see the Review Feedback option. But I adivce to use it since its a new feature introduced with UPK 11.1.
    hope this helps.
    regards,
    SD
