Hello everyone. I have just upgraded from a SoundBlaster Audigy, to a SoundBlaster X-Fi Music edition.
I have a collection of soundfonts which I used to use on my Audigy. They worked fine. Now that I'm using the X-Fi, they all work well, apart from one, and the one that doesn't work is my most used, most important soundfont.
Description of problem:
When I run my midi file, it starts playing the music using the new soundfont, but after about 0 seconds or so, the sound stops - even though the music is still playing. I then can occasionally hear a note or two, but its no longer playing properly. All my other soundfonts work perfectly, so I really dont understand why this one would cause troubles. They are all .SF2 files.
Other Information:
) I am using "SoundFont Bank Manager" to load the soundfonts. They all work great apart from the main one I want to use. It worked fine on my Audigy. The Cache part says 7.3mb Used/ 229.8mb Free.
2) I am on Windows XP Professional - Service pack 2.
3) The rest of my computer is very powerful. Its a core2duo, 2gig of RAM, 320gig seagate barracuda hard dri've etc. Regularly defragged.
4) I have the latest soundcard drivers (And direct X, video drivers, bios drivers, etc.).
5) I have no other problems with the computer.
6) My Midi program is Guitar Pro, which plays special midi files. It is set up properly, and it plays everything perfectly - using all my soundfonts, except the one I most want to use..
Please help me get this working. It is very important to me, and I need to get it working as soon as possible. I'll keep searching this thread incase I need to give any more information.

Why do you have two threads dealing with the exact same issue. That makes it confusing and hard to follow your issue to help you.
Who is your carrier, I asked in the other thread?

If you've noticed unexpected behavior with your iPhone camera, start with these steps to isolate or resolve the issue:
Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

Connect the device to the computer you normally sync with.

iTunes will automatically sync your device and create a backup. If it doesn't, sync the device with iTunes.
After the sync is complete, restore your device.

Here is my complaint:
1.I have been saving for weeks trying to buy this flat screen TV: the price has been $299.99

Then finally this Tuesday I went there to buy, I checked the online price, it jumped to $329.99. I do have a mover coupon which is good for 10% off a single item. So I used, but I will have been really happy if I could have used it when the price is $299.99 instead. This mover coupon said any single item with some exclusions and I believe this Westinghouse 48" is not in the exclusion list.
After I bought Tuesday, I checked the price online today, man, it went back to $299.99. Your price mathcing policy said if the price lowered within the return period, we could get the difference back. Then I went back to the Best Buy at Fairlawn, Ohio (Montrose) location where I bought my TV. But they refuse to return the difference saying I used that coupon.
But key issue here is not using the coupon. That coupon DOES NOT SAY anything about not using on a sale item at all!!!!!
If I return the TV today and they give me back that coupon, I would have been able to buy this one again at $299.99 AND using that coupon again! So It is very UNFAIR they are doing that.
Very disappointed and frustrated. Please help me to get this issue straightened out!! I follow all the rules, but that store clerk did not seem to understand that coupon is good for on sale items too and that TV is not on the exclusion list so they should follow the price matching promise and issue me the credit!!!!!!

A very good day to everyone.
I own a Lenovo 3000 G430/G530 laptop installed with Windows Vista Home Premium bought two months ago. I had AVG and updated and scanned frequently without having any flaws discovered. I also defragmented my PC everyday. Everything is in a top-notch state when I boot up the computer to see this window immediately after the Welcome screen:
dwm.exe unable to locate component, the application failed to start. UxTheme.dll is not found. Reinstall the application may fix.
I clicked 'Ok' and another window pops up, saying:
explorer.exe unable to locate component, the application failed to start. UxTheme.dll is not found. Reinstall the application may fix.
Clicking on 'OK', the screen went blank, save for the white cursor. Clicking on the keys of my keyboard did nothing.
What's ridiculous is that I can't install UxTheme.dll when my screen is blank. There are no icons, no taskbar. Nothing.
Luckily I have Ubuntu installed alongside, or else I wouldn't have ask for help. Please help me. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Recive deleted pictures with out icloud or any back up from last restore date please help need to find a very important picture

There surely has to be a way to recive my pictures from deleted memory on my iphone 4
i deleted my pictures from this weekend and need to view them but i deleted them with out having icloud or any back up app
is there ANY one who know's how to get around this there has to be a way like a computer like a restore factor settings that lets you go back to the last time you took a picture

Good luck, but they will tell you the same thing that anyone here will tell you.
Unless the device was backed up (via iTunes or iCloud) after the pictures were taken but prior to deleting them on the device, they are gone. There is no way to recover them once deleted without a backup.

Have you tied restoring from backup? If you go to the Devices tab in iTunes' Preferences, does the date of the backup correspond to before you had you problem?

I sloved this issue by resting my phone from settings>general>reset>reset all settings...the problem will be fixed

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.
