SoundtrackPro dont start anymore

Hello,
Please help me. I am just under working, and reason or other my SoundtrackPro do not start anymore. Other Pro programs (FCP 5.1.1, Motion, Compressor, DVDSP) works just fine and normal. Is there any other way than install Soundtrack again ?
I have latest updates in my Intel-mac.
I remember that there might be some plist or other ref-file which can delete or so ????

You can try deleting the Plist in Users>Preferences com.apple.soundtrackpro. But you won't loose anything by reinstalling so that may be your last option.

Hi, I had some problem with zynga toolbar, sometimes it made Firefox4 crashed, but it was OK after FF4 restart.
Yesterday I have downloaded FF5, had that crash again (something about a javascript, a window came out, and said wait for script, or stop the script).
Since then I cant restart FF5, it freezes immediately, i cant remove the zynga toolbar.
Tried a FF5 remove with keeping my personal informations and settings of FF (I need them, dont want to erase everything).
After the FF5 reinstall, the problem is the same. Cant start FF5, it freezes. What shall I do?

Why do my applications dont start anymore?

When I try to start an application, during the loading proces the action is stopped and I get into the main menu again.
I already turned off and on my ipod but the problem remains. (software version 2,2,1)

Try a "reset", hold both buttons down and don't let go until you see the "Apple" logo.

P2000 Dont start anymore !

Hi
Brand new here but hope someone can help.
I have a Portege 2000 and today it just powered off. When I put the power back on it lights up the first green light and the third yellow light for battery but when I hit the silver switch to start nothing happens at all....my wife has been bedridden for 6 months and has been using the laptop to communicate with the outside world. Im scared that something terminal has happened as she has loads of correspondence on that machine that hasnt been backed up.
I really hope someone can help.

Hi Ian,
Googling for MK2003GAH produced very few hits unfortunately, the most useful of which were Toshiba specific. I did find a couple of sites listing this HDD but neither had it in stock. I could find no hits for external caddies etc. at all.
Unless you know someone with a similar notebook to your own I suspect it will prove very difficult to copy off the contents of your HDD, and without being able to power on you cannot copy your HDD to another media (CD, DVD, Flashcard etc).
I would suggest contacting an approved Service Partner for their advice since they may well be able to copy your HDD before carrying out any repair work on it. I would make sure that they do not re-format your HDD without your prior consent. I have done this with my local repair centre in the past and they have rung me on both occasions to request permission to format my HDD.

Before I start, I will like to point out some things Ive tried already so this doesnt end up being a back and forth of things already tried.
*Ive uninstalled adobe flash player
*Ive tried the whole
media.windows-media-foundation.enabled to false or to true
*Ive gone into safe mode and nothing
*Ive tried toggling off the plug-ins to see if anything I have problems with works. Nothing.

Now, I thought this was just some kind plug-in problem, I even thought it was just something with the updated made Firefox incompatible with some of the webplayers. Of course I found out this was wrong. Keep on reading:

Now, all these videos I listed before, If I had them all open in tabs and then proceeded to terminate my flash plugin in Task Manager, they would all be replaced by that grey message window that the plugin crashed.

they wont even be affected by it. Its like they arent even using the flash plugin.
Whenever I would terminate/end process my plugin from my task manager in 34.0 EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING would not work including every vine video and instgram video, it would either show that grey message that says the plugin crashed or it would not work. They would all work again when I refreshed the page. Everything, in 34.0 in my firefox was using the flash plugin.
Now, as I stated above I thought it was just some kind of webplayer and firefox 35.0 conflict that was causing these problems.

Which brings me to my final conclusion.
The reason I cant play some that fron page video of http://www.jwplayer.com/

and instagrams and vines
IS because of their file extension, their file types.
I went to the firefox options and clicked the Applications tab:

Shouldnt all those video file types be in : Use Shockwave Flash (in Firfox) instead of : Always ask
When I try to toggle it to something else I dont even get the option to use Shockwave Flash

In Conclusion, what gives??
-In 34.0 Everything worked.
-If I terminated/ended process the Flash plugin in 34.0 everything would be affected by it , either by not working anymore or showing me that grey crash message.
-This all started when I upgraded to 35.0
-Has nothing to do with webplayer conflicting with 35.0 as proven above.
-The reason for all of this not working is the type of video extension they have. Judging from the examples I gave of the things I cant play, it would seem I cant play mp4, flv and whatever vine uses. Which I think its mp4 as well.
Anyways, how do I fix all this so it works like it did before I upgraded to 35.0

I looked at that but it only shows for Windows 8.1 , 8.0 , 7 , i have Vista , 64 bit Ultimate , would the Windows 7 one work ?? , or am i out of luck ?
And what plug-in icon in the address bar ?? , i don't see anything that pertains to any plug-ins

ITunes 10., dont starts automaticly & video-podcasts only sound works ???

Upgrading to iTunes 10.1 on my MBP (MacOS 10.6.5) i got two problems:
first, itunes dont starts automaticly anymmore, when connecting iPhone 3GS(iOS 4.2.1). Starting Itunes manually, iPhone-sync starts and works well??? The "dont sync automaticly"-button in iTunes setup is not set!
sec.: iTunes 10.1 dont play videopodcasts anymore. Only sound is o.k. The podast itself is o.k.and vissibale with other tools and after syncing, iPhone shows them, too.
Any Tips?

Mine did something very similar - when I tried to search, I got a message saying that it couldn't contact the iTunes Store. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and afterwards it worked, but the fix might have had nothing to do with that uninstall/reinstall. I wasn't able to contact the iTunes Store through my iPod either, and that didn't work for a while even after the reinstall. Then eventually it ran correctly as well.
I'm inclined to believe that there was something wrong at iTunes, not on my end. Have you tried again recently? Hopefully it'll be working again, like mine is.

Try Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
If that doesn't help, if this an Intel iMac try Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
For pre Intel iMacs > Resetting the power-management chip in your Mac
If that doesn't help, try here > Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck

X11 won't start anymore!

this is a desperate call: I am at a conference with my MBP, (10.6.7, all updates done). I need Matlab for my presentation, which needs X11.
X11 (and XQuartz) decided that they won't start anymore: the icon bounces in the dock for a while, then sits there without the little light underneath, and X11 is "non responding".
The logs show something like this.
I have googled and searched: similar problems once in a while appear but no posted solution.
I tried:
1) reinstalling XQuartz (I would reinstall X11, but how? I do not have the disks with me, I am away!)
2) from an admin account
3) create a new account.
4) repair permissions.
5) reinstall the font update from Apple that was recently issued.
HELP PLEASE!!!

Here is the solution: there was nothing wrong with x11 per se!
The problem was that about 30 files in /usr/bin (like gzip, egrep, hexdump etc) had been hosed (they had 0 file size). The puzzling messages was due to the fact that startx uses hexdump, which was simply silently doing nothing (since it had 0 size!).
I do not know what or when these files were zeroed: I suspect a recent OSX update which did not complete and I had to forcefully reboot.
I have fixed it enough to work (copying those files from another mac), but who knows what else lurks beneath the surface of apparent serenity!
I am actually surprised that the whole system did not stop functioning completely.
MORALE: if something looks strange in the logs with x11 or other apps, check the file sizes in your /usr/bin, you may be surprised too!

Adobe bridge won't start anymore. Icon is hopping and then it shuts down..

Mega Player 538 won't start anymore

I just flashed the firmware of my mega player 538 to the latest 1.11.03.
The prosedure went ok but now the player won't start anymore.
When I press "Power On" -button nothing happens.
Is there anything that I can do or is the player gone...?
Can I reset the player to solve the problem?

I contacted MSI support, but no answer from them yet.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to wait because I had a very important affair where I needed the device.
So, I returned the player to the shop. Of course the shop didn't have replacement on the stock but they gave me my money back. So, I went to another shop and bought a creative player instead and I was able to complete my affair.
It would have been nice to have the problem solved because the player was perfect for my needs and was very cheap as well (only 20 euros). The new player was three times more expensive and only 512Mb storage.
If MSI will return with a solution I can post it here in case somebody else has a same kind of a problem.

My 3Gs won't start anymore, how can I get it to?

I plugged in my 3Gs for the night last week and I woke up with the battery at 80%, so I just thought that maybe it came unplugged or something. I plugged in my charger and nothing happened, I got the "Charging is not supported with this accessory" error, even though I was using the white wire that came with it. I took it out of the wall adapter and tried it on my computer, nothing. I try my brothers wire, my mom's wire, car chargers, everything. Now I'm not sure if my battery is just done, or if my phone just won't start anymore, it's out of warranty so I'm up for any type of fixes, thanks.

Clean the iPhone dock port with a clean dry toothbrush. See if it helped. If not, clean dock port very carefully with lint free cloth moistened with Isopropyll Alcohol, especially clean the pins which are on top of the dock mid rib. You can even use the toothbrush with a bit of Isopropyll Alcohol here too. Let it dry, usually 30 seconds time. See if this helped.

Ultra 10 won't start anymore

I have an Ultra 10 box with an extra video card inside. Everything was working fine, and then I got curious and decided to open it up to see what's inside. Now it won't start anymore. I turn the computer on, the fans start spinning, but nothing gets displayed on screen. I can hear the hard disk turning too, and the CD drive is powered, but I don't think anything is going on.
The only thing I touched when I opened it was the extra graphics card, but I was very careful and I am pretty sure I did not fry it. I get nothing displayed on screen when I plug the monitor in the original video card either.
Is there anything I can do to find out what the problem is? Is there some special switch inside the box that I may have turned off without noticing?

when you removed the ATI Radeon (XVR-100) and powered-on, the long card (Creator3D or Elite3D) with the weird connector (13W3) became the default output device. It takes precedence over the integrated video.
Remove the long card (if you don't own a 13W3-HD15 adapter or monitor with 13W3 connector) and insert the XVR-100 (attach the monitor to the integrated video). If you power-on the integrated video becomes the default. You should see the output on the monitor.
Enter show-displays at the ok-prompt. If only a single entry is displayed, power-down and check if the card is properly seated.
Otherwise press the letter of the entry that doesn't contain /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/SUNW,m64B@2.
This a sample output of an Ultra 10 with Creator3D as add-in board.

The above sets the output-device to the integrated video even if a Creator3D is installed.
Then enter setenv output-device mydev (if you used this name) and reset-all. Attach the monitor to the XVR-100.

CVI program won't start anymore

Our measurement application worked well on several PC's (Win7 32Bit, WinXp 32Bit).
But on 2 newer PC's (Win7 32Bit) the application won't start anymore.
The attached Error with the code R6030 shows up.
We found a workaround for the problem: run the application as administrator.
But after we installed a USB-driver, this workaround doesn't help anymore,
and the Error shows up every time.
We installed the environment (cvi-rt, etc...) with an distributed setup.
So the Versions of the components are the same on every PC.
Any ideas?

Okay we solved the problem,
the cause was, the HP-Software, which was preinstalled on the PC's (the others were Dells)
After uninstalling the HP Security Suite our application works perfect.
I hope this helps other poor guys
