Source list folder creation

I had some difficulty moving music from an old PC to a new one. Finally got it done. However, the folder with my "purchased" music and my playlists didn't make the move. All the music is in my library so I can re-create my playlist, but what about the purchased stuff.
I assume if I buy new music with itunes on my new PC, itunes will create the appropriate source folders. Is there another way to do this or does it matter?
Thanks again for reading.
ASF

The purchased music playlist is nothing but a smart playlist using the following criteria, "Kind contains protected AAC". New purchases will re-create a purchased list, but the new list will not contain old purchases. I know this from experience as I lost the same list when I moved from PC to my Mac. I was going through a 15GB library, locating purchased files one by one, & getting extremely frustrated. The "light bulb" came on & I realized that this is nothing but a smart playlist. I actually have both lists now, the protected list is all inclusive for my purchases, the purchased list is files I've purchased since I move to the Mac. Hope this helps.

  • Info record and source list mandatory for PO creation?

    Hi Gurus,
Client wants to make Info record and source list mandatory for PO creation?
If Inforec and source list not available for that material, then user can't able to create PO.
How can I achieve this requirement?
    Any user exit available?
    pls help..

    Hi ,
SproMM-Purchasing -Source ListDefine Source List Requirement at Plant Level
If u mark the indicator then the Source list is mandatory for all the materials procured.
If u want for a speciic material , mark it in purchasing view of Material Master.
Inorder to create a source list , inforecord is mandatory -- this is by default Standard SAP .

  • Source List creation

    Dear Gurus,
Here in client place we are havng one material(Aluminium) with different dimensions. They are maintaining material codes as per the dimensions. They are purchasing the material from Three vendors. When creating source list they need to assign the materials to the vendor automatically, instead of entering it. Is there any possibility for doing this?. kindly solve this doubt of mine.

    HI,
First Maintain Info Records between those materials and Vendors. Then go to Source list creation - ME01 and click on generate records button (ctrl+F7). Then vendors will come automatically.
    Hope it helps.

  • Automatic creation of source lists on contract creation

    Hi,
Is there anyway to automatically generate a source list when a contract is created for the each line in the contract?  I know that you can go to Item -> Maintain source list, but the business is reluctant to accept this solution since it is an extra step for each line item. Also we have talked about using ME05 to mass produce source lists, but they still have to maintain a database of materials that require source lists which changes often.
We are in the process of turning on the source list indicator on the material master to ensure that we only source from EPA approved suppliers.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Automatic creation of Source list

    Hi All,
My requirement is to create a source list after a material and a Purchase Inforecord is created. I have heard that there is a Program in standard SAP which I can run to create a Source list right after a Purchase inforecord is created.
We have an enhancment to create Purchase Info records and we want to include this source list program at the end of this enhancment.
    Any thoughts will be helpful.
    Regards

    Hi All,
Is there any BADI available to mark all the vendors as Fixed vendors in the Sourcelist using ME05. I am sure we can Goto ME05 to create sourcelist collectively for all the materials in a plant, but besides that I want them to create as Fixed vendors. To do this user has to go into the transaction and select all records and hit the tab FIX to set it for all records.
As everytime a PIR is created, this Sourcelist program gets triggered and created with a Fixed vendor.
Thank you all for your responses

  • BRFplus and creation of info record and source list

    Hi there.
I would like to use BRFplus to fill out MM values and after that automaticly create info record and source list for this MM record. The first step is ok, but creating IR and Sourcelist I am not sure. What is the best way to do so?
-> Calling FM? If so how should I use the Result Data Object and Dispatcher field in BRFplus?
    Thanks in advance.
    Per Zanchetta

    Hi,
Yes could call FM using BRF+ Procedure Call-Function Module. And map the exporting parameter (results of FM) to BRF+ ruleset parameter and do the further processing.
When you assign FM name then in below container UI you can add all required parameters using "Add Parameter" button.

  • Source List with mass creation

    Hi Gurus,
Is there a standard mass maintenance tool to create source list without having purchasing info-record?
TCode ME05 needs to check purchasing info-record to be able to create source list.
But if I need to initializate source list with basic information, I'll not automatically have a purchasing info-record.
    Many thanks.
    Stéphane.

    Hi Stéphane,
In standard SAP Purchase inforecord is mandatory for source list.

  • How can I remove Facebook from the iPhoto source list?

Lately when I use iPhoto it will not let me quit and I have to force quit. I recently moved to college where there are several separate internet routers. I realized I still had iPhoto sharing turned on from using it at home and thought that might be messing it up, but even after I turn off sharing it will not let me quit. I think it is a problem with Facebook because it asks, "still syncing would you like to stop and quit?" whenever I try to quit the program. I would like to just remove Facebook from my source list, but I can't figure out how. It used to ask me to sign in to Facebook if I wanted to upload pictures but now it doesn't so I have no idea how to make it quit syncing.

I found the solution in the community
    Solution 1
Mac OS: Run the uninstaller in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder to remove the program listed as up-to-date.
Windows: Use the Programs And Features Control Panel to remove the program listed as up-to-date.

  • Photos tab is not selectable in the source list iPod nano

    Dear all,
Could you please help me out? I want to import photos on my iPod nano (3rd generation). I want to do this by dragging a folder to the iPod in the sources list in iTunes, but I do not succeed.
The 'photos' tab does not appear when I collapse the 'iPod' in the source list in iTunes. What is wrong?
Thank you for your answer (in advance.)

*I want to do this by dragging a folder to the iPod in the sources list in iTunes, but I do not succeed.*
You can't add photos the same way as you add music, you have to choose the folder in the photos tab.
The 'photos' tab does not appear when I collapse the 'iPod' in the source list in iTunes. What is wrong?
The photos tab isn't in the source list, it's one of the preference tabs that appear in the main window when you click on the iPod icon in the source list.
Here's a simple "How To" on downloading photos from a folder on your hard disk to an iPod:
1 Create a folder on your hard drive to hold the photos you want on your iPod. Call it iPod Photos for example
2 Drag the photos you want from your usual picture folder into the folder you just created
2 Open iTunes, select your iPod in the iTunes Source list.
3 Click the Photos tab and select “Synch photos from.”
4 Choose “Choose Folder” from the pop-up menu and select the iPod photos folder you created.
On a small device like the 2GB Nano I would tend to leave the "Include Full Resolution photos" box unchecked as these will take up a lot of space on the iPod and are only useful if you want to copy photos from one computer to another. iTunes will add "optimised", small TV quality versions of the photos to the iPod for you to view.
iTunes will add "optimised", small TV quality versions of the photos to the iPod for you to view. if you want to include full size photos so you can move them from one computer to another check the "Include Full Resolution photos" box. When you want to change the photos on the iPod you simply add or remove the photos you want from your iPod Photos folder and sync the iPod.

  • What are the disadvantages of maintaining the source list?

    Hi,
I understand that once source list is activated for plant in customizations, it has to be maintained for all the materials which are extended for the said plant, Is it true? Can I maintain only for selected materials?
I also understand if it is maintained for material then, we can not create PO for other source for which it has not be maintained in source list.
    Thanks in advance,
    Satish

    hi
There are no disadvantages if you maintain source list. Infact it helps lot of other functionalities other than purchasing. if you make source liost mandatory then it it required that for that particular material you need to have sourcelist  in Txn ME01.  You can have  list of vendors who are approved and put all of them in the source list for the material.  Yes you can always have independent sourcelist for a single material. Unless until you make it mandatory in customising there is no problem in PO creation. If you have made it mandatory  and you wish to create a PO for a new vendor who is not there in Source list then it is not possible to create a PO. However you can add the new vendor in the source list and go on creating the PO.

  • Enhancement to bypass "Source not included in list despite source list req"

    Dear Experts,
When the indicator source list requirement is maintained in the material master, the system will only allow creation of a purchase order if the source  is maintained in the source list (t-code ME01).  If its missing we will get an error message when creating or chaging PO with message :"Source not included in list despite source list req".
Is there a enhancement through which we can influence the error message for PO's of type stock transfter order? I tried searching for one but couldn't find a appropriate one.
Had look at ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST & ME_PROCESS_PO also but they were not much useful.
    Thank You.
    Best Regards,

so what you actually want is: source list is obligatory for a combination of plant / purchase order type / material number.
    there's no customizing this.
actually, i have difficulties in accepting your search for an exit/enhancement because the configuration of your system does not match your business process  = why do you want to avoid an error message in case of a STO scenario where the source list entry is missing?? either you have defined source lists obligatory on plant level - then see to it, that the source lists are maintained in the plant (you can mass generate it using ME05) or it is not ... in which case you will have to train your users accordingly ...
please do not take offense - none is intended - but i wonder why one would make a thing mandatory, only to circumvent the obligation by (intransparent) programming.

  • Problem creating source list

    Hi
We are on ECC 5.0 and in one of our ABAP programs create a PIR as a first step using ME11 BDC call and then go ahead to create a sourcelist for the material + plant and the vendor ( for which PIR was created in the first step ) .
To create source list we use the following function modules ( fms )  in sequence
    ME_INITIALIZE_SOURCE_LIST
    ME_DIRECT_INPUT_SOURCE_LIST
    ME_POST_SOURCE_LIST_NEW
What we observe is that - the ME_DIRECT_INPUT_SOURCE_LIST fm always raises an abort message - ' No PIR exists for the material and vendor ' even though PIR is created in the first step and we check for its existence before we call the fms for the source list. However if we introduce a wait for upto 15 seconds after the PIR has been created the sourcelist creation goes through.
Any idea why the above is happening. Similar situations faced with source list creation - shared is appreciated. Correct answers helping me solve this problem will be promptly rewarded

    Hi Karthik,
System takes some time to COMMIT all the work thats why it's happening.
Keep the WAIT FOR UP TO <reasonale seconds value> SECONDS in your code.
