Source List Folders - not on iPod

I searched this forum section and Apple's support sections for an answer or discussion on this problem I'm having. I created New folders in the Source List and added playlists to each folder. When I update my iPod, I only get a list of all the playlist (not separated into the folders I created). Is this correct? I spent a lot of time making those folders and adding playlists so that I could manage my iPod viewing/listening more better. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sarafina

The only place I've seen the folders matter (other than iTunes itself) is Front Row.
It would be nice to see these on my iPod.

  • Lost Source List folders

In ITunes 4 I had carefully made folders with music I liked. When I upgraded to 6 I lost all source list folders. I have folders in my music folder but that is the default folders according to the name of the group and not my personal folders. Everytime I upgrade this happens. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to start all over again?
I don't think I am going to upgrade again.

  • No Photo tab under source list for 3rd generation ipod nano

I have a 2nd generation ipod nano and recently purchased a 3rd generation ipod nano. I have the latest version of itunes, however, there is no photo tab under the source list. How am I supposed to import my photos?

I am a brand new ipod user and I have not been able to find the summary, music videos and photos tabs. I have gone into every tab up on the Itunes tool bar and poked around but still can't find it. No such page opens up when I connect the nano. Can someone please help?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Source list is not getting in shopping cart

    hi friends,
i am not getting the source list in the shopping cart for the particular material even though i am maintaining in backend and maintained in the web (vendors list) as a high priority vendor. To create a PO in the backend i need to maintain source of supply.so Anyone please give me the solution.
    thanks
    chakradhar

i think you can not use source list as source of supply in srm though you are in classic mode.
but you can refer the backend conract in the newly creating vendor list.
and select a backend system and search a contract.
    and release a vendor list

  • Source List Does Not Appear

I am trying to add content to my IPOD (20 gig click wheel). According to the user guide, I am supposed to do this through the source list. The problem is, there is NO source list to be found, anywhere that I can see, in or on the ITUNES interface. My IPOD shows up, but no source list. According to the update, I am using the latest version of ITUNES (7.0.2.16)
Could someone, anyone, PLEASE tell me how to make the source list appear in order to add songs to my IPOD?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Iphotos Source list will not display...

I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could offer... I have a new ibook G4 with iphoto 5 [5.0.4 (263) to be exact] I am embarrassingly baffled by this system, as I cannot get my Source list to display whatsoever, and am therefore unable to organize my photos into albums. My photo library is the only thing that displays. Whenever I attempt to create a new file the file disappears, I assume, into the source list which seems unfindable... I am a complete newbie at this, so I am anticipating an enormously obvious answer to this dilemma, but it is an answer that is absolutely evading me, left to my own devices! Any help would be extremely appreciated!!

    Hi Pamela,
Sometimes people can't get that source window open, even when they try to move the dot/dimple to the right.
First try to drag the button to show the column as show here
If that doesn't work, then you need to delete the Preference file. That info (size of the source window) is kept in the iPhoto Preference file.
    Quit iPhoto
Open your User folder, then open the Library in your user folder, then open the Preferences in the Library folder.
In the Preference folder is a file called com.apple.iPhoto.plist
For now, drag that file to the desktop. Launch iPhoto and see if the source window is there or if you can open the source window. If you can, that means that Preference file you dragged to the desktop was corrupt. Put it in the trash.
IPhoto made a new one when it was launched. Open iPhoto Preferences and set your preferences again and you are good to go.

i connect a mini display port to my HDMI cable but all i am seeing to the TV is the screen saver on the main screen i am unable to view videos on my tv  can any one help

It's possible the TV doesn;t support the same rersolution as before.
Does the LED flicker when you press remote keys?
If so try holding menu and up arrow together for 6 seconds to cycle display resolutions.
If possible try a different HDMI cable/HDMI port.
If all fails you may need to do a restore as described here:

  • Keeping iPod in Source list

    Hey all
I know there is an option to keep your iPod in the source list even when it is not actually connected to your Mac. However I'll be buggered if I can find it or remember where it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction because I have looked everywhere I can think of and can't find it! D'oh
    Thanks in advance...

Unfortunately the "Keep This iPod in the Source List" function for the iPod shuffle that was in previous versions of iTunes isn't included in iTunes 7.
You can check out a workaround at this link which may help out for now: Create ready-to-sync playlists for Shuffles in iTunes 7

  • ITunes can not find iPod

    Hi all,
I recently had my iPod 20gb colour lock up on me whilst on holidays. It started acting odd - not playing songs just scrolling through each track on the album for a second before moving on to the next. Tried soft resetting - no joy. Now back in the office my iTunes will not recognize my iPod at all(connected via USB). The iTunes options button does not appear in the "source list" and within the iPod tab within Prefrences I get the message " No iPod connected". I can access the iPod via Windows Explorer so I know the USB connection is working. I have now performed both an update and restore of the Ipod software and I still have the same issue. I have even tried reinstalling all of the software (iPod & iTunes). I now have an empty iPod (no songs nor photos) that iTunes will not recognise. Any help is strongly appreciated. Where should I go from here??? I have already wasted hours trying all of the reset operations I can think of. Thanks guys.

I stress this is totally unorthodox / bizarre, but it worked for me???
Well I finally found a solution borne out of total frustration. After acknowledging that the problem must lie somewhere with itunes (as explorer could happily see my ipod) via the USB. So I decided to look for alternatives. I downloaded ephPod to see if I could use it as a substitute for itunes. Upon connecting my ipod as part of the ephPod installation, a message box popped up to say my ipod directory structure was damaged and required rebuilding (interesting). I accepted, completed the installation and the ephPod program worked fine. It recognised my ipod, transferred songs, the works. So I go back to itunes to see if this directory rebuilding as fixed the ultimate problem......and what do you know itunes now recognises my ipod!!!!!. I have restarted everything and it all appears to be working as it should (for now). I am currently transferring all of my tracks and photos back on to my ipod...fingers crossed this does not happen again. Again I strongly doubt that this is a universal fix, it just happened to work for me. Apple / iTunes - please get your act together......at the very least read the angst on these forums . Good luck all. I feel your pain.

  • BDC for ME01 to delete vendors in the source list

    Hi ABAP'ers,

My program runs well till deletion after i delete a record it is showing a pop up to confirm and on clicking yes the vendor is deleted. • Info record and source list

    Hi
We have two info records for one material and source list is not being maintained.
What will be the implications in this scenario??
    Regards
    Chitra

    Hi,
If two info. record exists and none of them are marked a fixed vendor, then at the time of PR creation you will be offered two sources for the material and you will have to manually choose one source.
    Hope this clears your doubt.
    Thanks,

  • Backend Source of Supply not supported for Direct Material in SRM

    Hi ,
When creating S/C or PO in SRM for Direct Material , backend Source of Supply ( i..e Purchasing Info Record or Backend Contracts ) not availble to select as a sourc of supply .
In our case, we are planning to maintain the sourc of supply (PIR or Contracts) in back end MM system only , then how can pick up the same ?
Can anyone please suggest on this .
    Regards
    NAP

    NO Prashanta,
It is still pending for me . i just raised OSS message to SAP ...but SAP saying that
" I checked and found that in the classic scenario , Direct Materials cannot use backend contracts. The behavior described above is in accordance with the system design. Only local sources of supply (local contracts and interlinkages) can be
used in the direct material scenario, as well as as in the extended classic scenario . Therefore the above error message which you get "Specify a valid contract" is valid."
I replied with the doubt that "Thanks for reply but we are not convenience, since what we learnt from
different SAP Blogs, Below SAP help and SRM Experts discussion forum
is, for Ext Classic Scenario (since for direct materials it always
tales by default Ext Classic Scenario, although we implemented Classic)
Local SRM contract and Supplier List are the possible Source of Supply.
As per SAP help documentation for Self-Service Procurement (Extended
    Classic) on below link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/e0/f6be5157a24340bf7b1279854a52e1/frameset.htm u201CYou can assign the sources proposed by the
system to items automatically (for example, if there is a single
contract for the item being procured) or manually in the case of a
quota arrangement, contract, or supplier from a supplier listu201D
As per SAP help documentation for Sourcing Using Supplier Lists on
    below link,
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm70/helpdata/en/d8/33ec56f17f4404806072749f7e764f/frameset.htm u201CIn supplier lists, you can also manually allocate
back-end contracts from specific systems. This enables more effective
    sourcing for back-end contractsu201D
In the Supplier List there is facility to enter the ECC Contract
Number. Supplier List donu2019t support local SRM contract. It supports
    only ECC Contract /item.
As per your reply, do you mean to say that Source List is not a valid
Source of Supply for Direct Material in Classic Scenario (i.e. Ext
Classic scenario)? If not, then why the backend ECC Contract displays
as a Source of Supply, when we check the u201COrder as direct Materialu201D?
    Kindly suggest"
    Lets see.what SAP now replies.
    Simultaniously I'm looking some enhancment

  • How do I bring the Source List back in sight?

I opened iPhoto this morning to look for a specific photo, but the Source List does not show on the screen. So I cannot highlight the category of Photos in the Source List. How do I get the Source List back? It has never disappeared before. I checked iPhoto Preferences and could find nothing there to help me, either. The iPhoto Help in the menu bar doesn't tell how to retrieve the Source List - it just tells how to use it once you have it there.
    Hilma Jenus

Oops! After writing the question above, I started exploring this website (I've never used it before), and I found the answer to the question - just click on the Escape key and the full screen of photos pulls in smaller and displays the Source List on the left right where it has "always" been! Thanks for providing the answer that I couldn't find in iPhoto Help or iPhoto Preferences!

  • IPhoto 9.6 Source List icons

Running Yosemite 10.10.1 with iPhoto v 9.6 on my iMac and i've noticed the icons within the left pane Source List (e.g.the Library Events palm tree icon) are not rendered in color but are b&w.
Might anyone know of a setting such that these icons are rendered in color?
    thanks in advance.

There is no help for it.
Which iPhoto version did you upgrade from?
iPhoto '11 went all gray three years ago, with the 9.1.5 compatibility update for Mac OS X 10.7, when Apple introduced the new colourless GUI.  Some of the frequent posters here like it, because the colors of the icons  in the toolbar and source list do not distract from the colors in the photos, but it makes the icons harder to recognise on a small display.
You cannot enable the colorful icons again short of replacing all tiff images for buttons etc inside the iPhoto application bundle. That would be risky and had to be done over and over again, with each update.
