Source Monitor has horizontal lines along the video

Hi,
In the source monitor [only after the video is rendered] I get these horizontal lines across the video. Looks like this http://yfrog.com/7bpremierproblemj
I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this? Also, the rendered file is fine which really confuses me and if I click on the video in the source monitor then it is restored back to normal, until I click off it then it goes back to having those lines.

Thanks for correcting me there 'vertical line'.
I've recently installed new drivers and I still have that problem. Driver errors wouldn't explain why the video is fine when I import it. If my computer struggled to play the video then the exported file would have the vertical lines to, however it is fine.

MXF file plays with audio on Source Monitor but timeline imports only the video

Hello,
This started happening like a few hours ago. But it was working perfectly before! This is driving me insane!
This is the situation (Premiere CC, updated to latest version):
- I have a bunch of MXF files and if I play them on the Source Monitor, audio and video play perfectly.
- The moment I drag the MXF file onto the timeline, only the video is imported, not the audio.
- I tried to drag only the audio, using the different ways that Premiere provides but it won't come at all.
I managed to import audio and video doing the following: close all sequences, and drag the MXF file in the timeline with no sequence opened thus it will create a sequence with the imported audio and video from the MXF file.
BUT if I try to drop the SAME MXF file in this brand new sequence, only the video will come again.
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on? And why it suddenly stopped working?

Windows Media export has horizontal lines

Hello,
I am exporting a video with basketball footage in it and am trying to do a windows media export. Unfortunately, no matter what i do to the settings, I get these horizontal lines in the video when there's a lot of action/movement. Any idea what this might be and how it could be fixed?

Depending on the encoder you are using, you can create interlaced WMVs.
Deinterlace the movie before you pring it into your encoder. You cna export a reference movie or nest the sequence and apply a deinterlace to the nest. Render, export self contained.

I would like you to try the following steps:
Step 1. Turn off the computer, and then remove the power cord
Step 2. With the power cord disconnected, press and hold the power button for five seconds
Step 3. Reconnect the power cord, and then turn on the computer
If the above steps do not resolve it try the next set up steps:
Step 1. Restart your computer
Step 2. Repeatedly press the F10 key about once every second for five seconds after turning the computer on
Step 3. Wait five seconds
Step 4. Press the F5 key. This restores the default settings of the BIOS
Step 5. Press the Enter key. This accepts the changes
Step 6. Press the F10 key. This opens the Save and Exit window
Step 7. Press the Enter key. This saves the changes, exits the BIOS, and then the computer restarts
Step 8. Restart the computer.
Another thing I can think to try is review the HP Support document: Changing Display Settings, Background Image, Icons, and Screen Saver (Windows 7) to see if you can identify anything out of place.
We can also try to reload the Intel Graphics Driver for your computer as it will wipe out the settings when the new driver is reinstalled.

I would take your machine into a Apple service center. Its highly likely a hardware issue. The most likely issue being the display has failed. If there is no external damage to the machines display they will replace the whole display under warranty for you.

Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

Pictures taken with my 1D Mark IV show a blue horizontal line at the bottom from ISO 400 onwards. So far nobody has been able tot tell me the cause of this problem. The body is still quite new (15000 pics taken).

I agree that it looks like a column of photosites is not working. But... I'm curious as to why this would only happen at ISO 400 or above.
The sensor is covered with photosites -- they are monochrome. On top of the photosites is the "bayer mask". The mask is a checkboard pattern of red, green, and blue "lenses" which makes the photosite beneath only sensitive to that particular color. They are group in clusters of 4 photosites in a 2x2 matrix. Two of the four squares (in opposing corners) are green. One corner is red. One corner is blue. If you were to lose a column which happens to be along the red/green column (as opposed to the green/blue) then you'd lose red sensitive and half the green sensitivity in that column. The result would be that this column is flanked by two "working" columns which are full of green/blue photosites... hence the teal blue look.
I do not know if this will work for you, but oddly... you can actually sometimes "clear" stuck pixels (but usually this is an indvidiual stuck pixel... not a whole column of them) by putting the camera into manual sensor cleaning mode (and you may have to do this 2 or three times). While the normal point of the self-cleaning mode is to flip up the reflex mirror and open the shutter so that you can inspect and clean the sensor (really the front-most filter because you can't actually touch the real sensor), it also neutralizes the charge on the sensor (or so I've read). This charging and discharging of the sensor a few times can often get "stuck" pixels to start working again. BUT AGAIN... I've only ever seen this used on individual stuck pixels... never a whole row.

Hi, my 6 month old Macbook Pro (Retina display) has developed vertical lines on the left of the screen and horizontal line on the bottom. We took it to an
affiliated apple support store (no appointments available at Genius Bar's in the UK) and they have said that the damage was caused by ourselves and it won't
be a warranty repair (they suspect we tried to close the lid with a pen stuck in the laptop).
We don't use the Macbook that often and can't think of anything that we did to cause the damage and a bit frustrated that we have to pay £600 to repair
this. We are also concerned that because this is only an affiliated store there is no incentive to fix this under warranty.
Anyone had experience of this problem or dealing with apple affiliated support stores.
The only thing that that we can think of is that maybe our 2.5 year old toddler got his hands on the macbook but failing that we are now in a quandary over
whether to pay for the repair as now not sure if the monitors on the newer generation of macbooks that robust anymore and will just break again (typically the 5 year old macbook is fine!).
Any thoughts appreciated.

My phone switches off after showing horizontal lines on the screen during the restore process and then shows the error 9 problem. please help i am so stressed.

My iphone 4S switches off after showing horizontal lines on the screen cutting through the apple logo during the restore process and then right after my iTunes shows the error 9 message, this happened 2 days ago when my phone just switched off unexpectedily and has been in this recovery mode since then. i have watched videos on Youtube and i have disabled Firewall before starting the process, i think i have done almost everything. please help anyone what do i do from here?
Just for interest sake i watched this video on youtube where this guy had the same problem but the difference is that he had it on an iPad. he opened the ipad up and did something on the ipad, it took less than a minute then his ipad worked.
I would appreciate it if someone would respond to this as fast as they can i am so stressed.

OFFICEJET PRO 8600 PLUS HAS POOR QUALITY, BLACK TEXT HAS HORIZONTAL LINES & FADING

I have a Officejet Pro 8600 Plus which is a few months old. It gets light use although I'm a graphic designer working from home.
The problem just started with a very poor print quality. The black text fades in and out, has horizontal lines through it. The color text also has horizontal print qualities.
I replaced all of the color ink cartridges, the black is mostly full.
I have repeatedly run the Align Printhead and Clean Printhead functions on the printer with no improvement.
What can I do at this point? I need the printer function very soon.
I'm on a Mac OS 10.7.5

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
Regarding the Officejet pro 8600 not printing a clean crisp black text, the steps you have done are very good attempts to resolve.
When you printed the cleaning, did the characters print clean and crisp? It should look like this:
Please excuse the blurry image and colors should be on the bottom of the page, how ever the above should give you an idea of what it should look like.
Performing the steps in this HP document: Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems should help. It will have you doing steps you have done already, I recommend doing the steps but you could skip the steps you have done already.

Why do i have a grey thick horizontal line on the bottom of my screen imac

I been having a problem with my iMac 21.5 inch mid 2011 since this monday January 7,2014. Theres a grey and some times black thick horizontal line at the bottom of the screen, I cant see my programs at the bottom of the screen. First its black then turns into grey and it starts flickering and then it stops flickering and it wont go unless I turn off my mac or put it to sleep, and then like an hour it comes back again. please could you help me Thank you.

My Classic developes two thin horizontal lines across the top third of the screen.

After a day using my classic in the car, I plugged it into its speaked dock and niticed two thin horizontal lines all the way across the top third of the screen.

You can try Resetting the iPod, won't work, if LCD screen is damaged or the display chip surface mounts has gone wobbly, which mean going in for servicing.
Otherwise.
Press Menu and Center button for 10 secs till the Apple logo comes on, then release the buttons.

I tried to put that line in page footer and i tried with Box also. Both are not properly working. Some space problem is coming.
Is there any feature to find end of the Page.

Do you know how many detail records are showing up per page?
If you do - you could create a Details B section that is suppressed except for on Record N (where N is a counter, and N is the last Detail record that will show up on a page).
The Page footer is indeed built so that it will be rendered at the bottom of your physical page of paper.
