Source Sans Pro not displaying in 'Design' mode

Hi
All of a sudden Source Sans Pro is not displaying in the 'Design' mode in Muse. Its still able to preview in browser correctly. But obviously I need it to display correctly within the 'Design' mode in order to design.
Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Could you try the following workaround?
1. Close Muse
2. Rename the folders named tk1 and tk2 in the following locations
For Muse CC 2014 (the latest version)
On Windows: %appdata%\com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.0\Local Store. You can type this in the Path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window
On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.0/Local Store. You can type this in the Go To Folder dialog (Shift+Command+G)
For prior versions
On Windows: %appdata%\AdobeMuse\Local Store. You can type this in the Path bar at the top of the Windows Explorer window
On Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/AdobeMuse/Local Store. You can type this in the Go To Folder dialog (Shift+Command+G)
3. Launch Muse and add the font again

Text Not Displaying in Design Mode

About mid-way through creating my first Muse website, the body text of my pages quit being displayed while in Design mode. The text boxes are all still there and I can select the text, change the text, etc. but can't see what I am doing. When I hit the Underline button, just the line is displayed. When I preview the page as well as post the site, the text is fine. I am just using Arial font and my text is white on a black background. I have tried changing the color dozens of times as well as bringing it to the front, adding new text boxes, anything I can think of. Any ideas? Thanks!!

That's wierd.
Have you tried resetting Muse preferences. If not yet, please do so by deleting the AdobeMuse folder found at one of the below locations depending on your Operating System:
Windows 7: C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data
Mac: /Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences/
Relaunch Adobe Muse after removing the AdobeMuse folder from above location. Hope that helps.

Adobe Source Sans Pro font broken in adobe muse

Uggghh.
I'm getting tired of updating Muse to find that something that used to work is now broken and I have to spend hours/days/weeks either re-working a site to make it look right, or waiting for a fix.
Seriously I don't have time for this.
I open up my project this morning which I haven't worked on for a day or two.
Now Source Sans Pro web font is not displaying correctly. The Bold looks like regular. The Light looks like regular. The black looks like regular.
What is going on?
2 other gripes.
1. Adobe Muse seems to lose font associations in another site I needed to do a small change on. I had Quattrocentro Roman and Pacifico fonts (non-web fonts) in the site. However, when I install the fonts, Muse can't automatically pick up that the fonts are there. I had to manually go and reselect the fonts tediously through the entire document to get the appearance right. I had a client sitting next to me while I did that for an hour while I'm making excuses. A real good look that is. Indesign picks up fonts the instant they are install, and updates the document flawlessly and reliably. But Muse cannot do that. We need a "find font" feature!
2. Please don't suspend Typekit services when an install is available. You forced me to update to 2014 version of creative cloud, suspending the type kit service until I upgraded. I have to open and edit jobs for print, and the ones that have type kit fonts in them, I was not able to edit until I upgraded. I waited 2 hours while the first download failed, and then I attempted again. I can't afford to be held ransom to an update. I have lots of small jobs to output ready for press, and when I come into work to find that I can't output a job that I was working on yesterday it makes my blood boil.
I don't have time to be a beta tester, going through logs and testing. I need tools that work reliably!

If you click View, Show Sidebar you will see the other libraries under Shared in the left hand column. Click on the Library you want and you can expand it to select Music, Movies etc. Select whatever items you want and click import if you want to move them to your Library.
You will have to have all computers authorised with the relevant Apple ID's
Store > Authorise this computer...
This is separate from the Home Sharing username and password and is to allow playing of DRM Movies, TV shows etc from the other computer.
If both Computers use the same apple id this step is not required.

TranslateMarkup output not displaying in design view

I'm trying to take a set of php pages which all follow a similar style

This then pulls in various other files (css, js etc) and renders on the website. I'm used to working with an IDE and hand-writing php code. My non-technical colleague would like to edit the html using WYSIWYG and is used to using DW. At the moment the html in the heredoc strings doesn't display in design view. I've been trying to rejig the pages using translators and can convert the above php into html which renders fine in a browser. The html output from the translateMarkup function doesn't display in design view. I think I'm probably fighting a losing battle (for instance I'm not sure how I'm going to make html editable in DW even if I can get it to render), but if anyone could explain why the html won't render I'd be very grateful. unless there's any way of rewriting the files before upload and download (ie dynamically rewrite the php pages as html before dreamweaver opens them, then rewrite them back as php before they're uploaded - I'm clutching at straws).
I believe that this should be possible but I'm definitely not a DW extensionologist so I couldn't say for sure. Also, I believe that the tricky part would be the last step -> WYSIWYG edits back to PHP, which may well be impossible.

Web font not showing in design mode.

Hi all.
I'm having problems all of a sudden with my webfont not showing/ preveiwing in design mode.
eg. the menu currently looks like this (design mode):
when it should like this:
The font i'm using is Babas Neue. It shows perfectly in preveiw mode and when exported but in design mode shows incorrectly. Even the sample in the font drop down is wrong.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to rectify this? I've tried re-installing Muse to no avail.

Macbook Pro not displaying 1080p on my monitor anymore after 10.8.4.

My Macbook Pro 8,2 15" early 2011 unibody does not display on my BENQ g2420hd screen anymore. I am using a thunderbolt to HDMI cable and it used to work fine. I have tried my macbook pro with the same lead through a different screen and that displays in 1080p and my friends laptop through my screen and that works. When I set the screen to any other resolution it works fine, including 1080i, but on 1080p the screen acts as if It reconises it but just remains black.
I have tried resetting PRAM and SMC, I can't roll back to 10.8.3 as I am not using Time Machine (i know... i should..). I can't think of anything else I can try or do I have to wait for 10.9 or 10.8.5 for them to fix it. I know there are other post on this update issuse but mine problem seems to be slightly different.

one more point to add...i installed windows using bootcamp, and through windows the 2560X1440 resolution works. so its not a hardware problem either

JavaScript does not display in Design view

I am just starting to learn JavaScript so excuse my, maybe stupid, questions.
Why the following code does not display Hello world! in Split view on the "design" side? When I upload the file onto the server and try to view it in the browser everything displays normally.

This is normal, design view is simply a way of either creating your website using the wysiwyg method or if you code the website it is a way of getting an idea what the site will look like static. Design view doesn't run any scripts, which is why in the more recent versions of dreamweaver we have LiveView which does run the scripts and allow you to interact with drop down menus and the like, which you can't do in DesignView.

Includes Not Displaying in Design View

I have an html page whose content is kept mostly in include
pages. In the DW8 Design View, these includes are not displaying.
For example, a page that should have a height of 600px only
displays the masthead and footer; it's as if the includes do not
even exist. However, when I test it in the browsers, all is well.
Is there a Preference Setting or plug-in that I am missing?
Any suggestions are welcome.

When snapping a rectangle to the top of the page left space between rectangle disappears in the preview (not in the design mode)

I think the image looks more descriptive than my words actually.. When I move the first rectangle to the top of the page the gradient background disappear in the preview (on the right side of the screen), even though I still can see that in my Design Mode (left handside). Everytime the top rectangle snaps to the top of the page the second rectangle snaps to the first one in the preview (both muse preview and browser preview)...Any help?

Seems you have applied scroll on second rectangle with key position setup on top of the page edge as a result when page edge is reached the second rectangle scrolls up on the page.
If this is not the case then please provide more details.

Safari Bitstream Vera Sans font not displaying

Hello,
I have a font display problem in Safari 4.
I upgraded to Snow Leopard and Safari 4.0.3, and web pages which specify in the CSS file:
"font-family: 'Bitstream Vera Sans', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"
are not displaying properly. The entire page, except where a different font is used, is replaced with a character that looks like letter "A" with a square around it.
If I inspect the text element, then uncheck the font-family line, all characters display readably. What could be happening?

I was having this problem, too. I fixed it by I fixed it by downloading the font via the "Download" button at http://www.dafont.com/bitstreamverasans.font, decompressing the downloaded zip file, selecting the four ".ttf" files in the Finder, right-clicking and choosing "Open With.../Font Book.app", clicking "Install Font" on the resulting window. Then, in order to clear the font cache, I did the following in a Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
sudo atsutil databases -removeUser
sudo atsutil server -shutdown
sudo atsutil server -ping

Early 2011 15inch MacBook Pro not displaying on external monitor

I have an early 2011 15 inch MacBook Pro and I tried to connect it to a Samsung U28D590D 4k display. My computer is recognizing it as a monitor and saying that the output resolution is 2560x1440, which is what I expected considering my graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB and my chipset is an AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256VRAM. I just don't know why its not displaying on the monitor. Any help will be very appreciated.

With iO8.02 Calendar will not display in day mode

After updating my iPhone 6 to iOS 8.02 the calendar will not cycle to day mode. Anyone have a fix?

I'm really annoyed by this too. I can no longer get this view to activate:
Apple, I hope this view hasn't been eliminated. It's pretty fundamental to the Calendar app and would be a necessary reason to switch to a different one.

SSI includes do not display in design view.

Hi,
I am working on an existing site. By "existing", I mean there
was no Dreamweaver site definition. I created the site definition
but, when I open pages that use ssi, the included files do not show
in design view. If I reinsert the include, it show in design view.
The code is the same in code view. Is there some way to update the
includes so I don't have to reinsert them?

By "header/footer" tags, Ken means "<html>,
<head>, or <body>" tags - you
have none of those in your files being included, do you?
