I too read that article, and what I'd love to know is whether you still need to have iTunes open in order to stream from your computer.
I'm not, and have never been in the habit of leaving applications open when I'm not using them, in fact, I have a terrible habit of closing everything until I need it. This invariably means that I lose my streaming "Source" and every time I fire up the ATV it takes minutes to reconnect (I'm guessing because of the size of the library, and having it split over more than one drive)
So I'm hoping that the new software acts more like "Quicklook" and I don't have to retrain myself to leave iTunes open - old dog, new tricks!

Hi All,
I have a cube in which i'm using the TIME DIM that i created in the warehouse. But now i wanted a new measure in the cube which is Average over time and when i wanted to created the new measure i got a message that no time dim was defined, so i created a
new time dimension in the SSAS using wizard. But when i tried to process the new time dimension i'm getting the follwoing error message

Can anyone please tell me why i cannot create a new measure average over the time using my time dimension? Also what am i doing wrong with the SSASTIMEDIM, that i'm getting the error.

According to your description, you get the above error when processing the time dimension. Right?
In this scenario, since you have updated the DSV, it should have no problem on the table existence. One possibility is that table has been specified for tracking in the notifications for proactive caching, but isn't available any more for some
reason. Please change the setting in Proactive Caching into "MOLAP".

Bonjour for windows: "The printer you have selected is no longer available"

Whenever I go to try and set up sharing my imacs printer with wifes windows computer, the bonjour for windows app at first sees my two printers, but as I select them I then get a message stating that "the bonjour printer you have selected is no longer available. Please make sure the printer is powered on and plugged in." It of course is on, powered and plugged in, and receives print jobs from my mac. I have also configured printer sharing in OS X 10.6 to allow for "everyone" to print. Don't get any firewall messages either.
Same problem happens for me when I am trying to connect from windows running under Parallels on my ibook.
Has anyone run across this problem and can offer guidance? I'm running out of hair to pull out!

Problem solved!! Somehow. After being in try everything and anything mode (remove/add printer, update drivers (again), shut down/restart, etc), I think I solved the problem my changing sharing permissions. I still couldn't print though. Kept getting the "printer cannot be contacted over the network" error message. After much searching and reading things I didn't really understand, I noticed I kept running across this statement that Windows 7 does not play well with DHCP and the printer should be assigned a static IP address. I found this forum item that tells simply how to do that: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1725525. The big thing was that it had me add the printer as a local printer where I had been trying to add it as a network printer. I never would have thought to do that. Then you put in the Airport address and that's it. It worked!
This whole thing made it very clear why I moved from Windows to Mac. I should never have had to spend a whole day trying to get a network printer to print. Good luck to everyone having this issue.

SELECT statement takes long time

In the following code, if the T_QMIH-EQUNR contains blank or space values ,SELECT statement takes longer time to acess the data from OBJK table. If it T_QMIH-EQUNR contains values other than blank, performance is good and it fetches data very fast.
Already we have indexes for EQUNR in OBJK table.
Only for blank entries , it takes much time.Can anybody tell why it behaves for balnk entries?
if not T_QMIH[] IS INITIAL.
        SORT T_QMIH BY EQUNR.
        REFRESH T_OBJK.
        SELECT EQUNR OBKNR
          FROM OBJK INTO TABLE T_OBJK
          FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_QMIH
          WHERE OBJK~TASER = 'SER01' AND
         OBJK~EQUNR = T_QMIH-EQUNR.

You can use the field QMIH-QMNUM with OBJK-IHNUM
in QMIH table, EQUNR is not primary key, it will have multiple entries
so to improve the performance use one dummy internal table for QMIH and sort it on EQUNR
delete adjacent duplicates from d_qmih and use the same in for all entries
this will improve the performance.
Also use the fields in sequence of the index and primary keys also in select
if not T_QMIH[] IS INITIAL.
SORT T_QMIH BY EQUNR.
REFRESH T_OBJK.
SELECT EQUNR OBKNR
FROM OBJK INTO TABLE T_OBJK
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_QMIH
WHERE IHNUM = T_QMIH-QMNUM
OBJK~TASER = 'SER01' AND
OBJK~EQUNR = T_QMIH-EQUNR.

Alternative for VRF Source Select

We have "VRF Source Select" configuration alternative to Policy based Route-map in the Router Interfaces .Can anyone tell me if we have any alternative for "VRF Soure Select" . Unfortunately Cisco 7200 VXR NPE-G1 Routers doesn't this feature at all. NPE-G1 supports only VRF Forwading and VRF Site-maps!!!

I can't think of an alternative but 12.0(28)S, which is planned to be on CCO at the end of April, will support the NPE-G1. This should solve the issue.

I have one question. For the full XI3.0 installation, one of the products is Web Intelligence Rich Client.
In Web Intelligence Rich Client, we can have Data Source Selection which is Universe and Local Data Source. But for Web Intelligence/InfoView, we can only select universe, or maybe canu2026 I need to explore more but still could not find it.

Source selection is empty due to inverse mapping

Hi Experts,
When execute data collection task, one of Cons unit got the below error.
"Source selection is empty due to inverse mapping" Message no. UCT8250.
I checked BI mapping rules and also compare mapping rules in LDS with other cons unit. There is no change in mapping rules in LDS and nothing had changed in BI mapping rules.
This is error is shown for one cons unit only, for all remaining task run successfully. Please explain me how to overcome from this.
NB: Data collection method was Load from data streams.

I just added a new hard disk to our Windows 2003 R2 server with SP2. When I try to extend it, I receive "The volume you have selected may not be extended". kb841650 has been installed. What could be the problem?

what is your aim ?
You can only extend volumes on the same disk.
Example: You have a disk of 100 GB, and you create a volume of only 50GB. You can extend this disk up to the remaining 50 GB in the same disk. You cannot extend a volume to use another disk.
In your case, your two volumes (Partitions) are using the full disk space, so you cannot extend.
If you want to aggregate two disks, you have to use a striping tool like to have RAID0 for example. But only when you are dealing with new disks.
I guess you are using virtualization. So you are attaching VHDs (Hyper-V) or VMDK (VMWare).
To extend a VHD, backup first your machine (Make a copy of the VM VHD or VMDK)
Use a tool to extend this VHD (or VMDK)
Then when you start your VM, you will be able to extend, becasue you extended the entire disk, and you will find available space where to extend

Warning "Source selection for is incompatible for target selection" in RRI

Hi Friends,
I am getting the following warning message while jumping from one query to another(RRI) :
Source selection for is incompatible for target selection
I have also found one SAP Note : Note 1265027 - Incompatible selection for a variable in the target query which states that it is a program error and we have to Import Support Package 04 for SAP NetWeaver BI 7. 01 (SAPKW70104) into your BI system for SAP NW BI 7.0 Enhancement Package 1.
But the problem is we are already in Support Package 04 .After that also we are facing the same problem.
Can anyone please let me know how to fix this issue?Is anyone faced such an issue.

[Solved] "source tarball may not contain nested subdirectories"

I'm trying to upload (my first!) package to the AUR, however I'm getting the error "Error - source tarball may not contain nested subdirectories."
I've created the package using `makepkg --source`, it's just a single PKGBUILD file.
Running tar tvf looks fine:
$ tar tvf setcolors-git-0.0.0-1.src.tar.gz
drwxr-xr-x root/root 0 2013-08-17 08:25 setcolors-git/
-rw-r--r-- root/root 685 2013-08-17 07:19 setcolors-git/PKGBUILD
I searched around, but it looks like only a few people had this issue, and it was due to SELinx (which I'm not using).
I must be missing something really simple and I'm sure I'll feel dumb.

Ahhh I get that too, your tar isn't the problem (I think), like mr. developer said, it's probably PHP5.5 that's the problem, it's the site.
My theory is that PHP5.5 probably upgraded their parsing stuffs and the site's code just isn't compatible yet.

I'm Lion 10.7.3 on iMac and I use Mail as my mail manager.
My ISP (access , mails) is "VOO".
At mail I am often "over quota" because the server VOO grants only 40M. I would like to address this problem. I contacted VOO but they tell me not to know and do not appear to increase capacity at the moment.
My idea was:
- All messages received at the server VOO would be automatically transferred to another address (eg ................. @me.com, my address icloud) whose capacity is much greater.
- But the problem is that nothing is planned at the server level VOO to perform this maneuver!
- Therefore, I turn to you to ask yourself the question, one of you has it you an idea, a suggestion, a solution?
Any suggestion is welcome.

Since I use MAIL and I receive messages without any problems sent to me on my address icloud (............... @me.com) I think to ask all in my address book to send me on my address on icloud. Is it a good idea?
Could you tell me how much space I have in icloud? 40M is the highest in VOO.

Although, mapping of Cons Chart of Accts in LDS for this method is defined as constant value.
I can't load data from raw data cube. What can be the reason ?
