South Africa: Reset Account
Hi there, I sent an email two days ago to your "Nokia Care" email in order to get my account reset so I can change my registered PC. I tried calling and the phone rang and rang and rang, no voicemail, no nothing. This is not the Nokia I have become accustomed to in using Nokia since 1998, along with everyone in my business.
Come on guys, I need a simple thing done like reset my OVI account on my newly installed laptop. This is now urgent and the non response from Nokia does not bode well in my books.

You have to be in a country to use its store - you will need to be in the US and have a US billing address on your account to be able to use the US store (that applies to buying and redownloading).
You can use iTunes Match in South Africa, do you not have a backup copy of all of your US iTunes purchases so that you can subscribe to it and upload those that aren't in the South African store to it ? -
I need do download Photoshop Extended from my adobe account. I bought it in 2011 when I live in Canada and was using a windows based laptop. I now live in South Africa and use a Mac. I can only access my products and serial numbers. How do I download???
As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard. -

You can't, you can only buy content from your own country's store - to be able to buy from another country's store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying from it. You will either need to make do with what is in the South African store (and I know that it hasn't got the same content as in other countries), or for music you could use other music purchase download sites that you have access to (and you can copy your own CDs).

I moved from USA to South Africa and now cannot play my music on my new PC. I cannot remember the password for my USA account so cannot deauthorize that account to allow me to play my music on my South African account. How can I now play the music? When I try to use my secret questions to access my old account I am told I have the wrong answers, including my own birth date!!!
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -

Regionalisation Reset apparently impossible outside of South Africa...
So I am in Zambia, Africa. I bought an Ink Advntage 1515 from a major store and it turns out it is imported from the Middle East and uses HP662 cartridges which are not available in Zambia. Cartridges which I can get here are HP 650. I called South Africa to do a regionalisation reset and they said I needed local cartridges first. So I bought local cartridges and called them back. After half an hour on the phone, the technicians said the reset could not be done over the telephone and I had to take the printer to a service centre. My nearest one is 9 hours drive away. So now I have a printer which won't take the local cartridges, and local cartridges which aren't compatible with my printer. Both of which are useless. And I am down about $150, which, since we are a charity, is a huge amount of money. Can ANYONE help me do a regionalisation reset by email or PM, or give me some advice about how to get this done without more useless phone calls to South Africa? Thanks,

way you can purchase from another country's store is
to have a credit card with a billing address in that

This is kind of stupid. I mean, I don't mind buying from the American or UK stores, but not being able to buy at all is a major bad idea. Apple not only misses out on potential customers, but also makes my and other's like me experience with iPod and iTunes less than it should and could be.
I mean what? Just because I'm Romanian or that guy is from South Africa, we are not allowed to use the iPod we've purchased and iTunes at their full potential. Just adding other countries as an option to the address information for a Music Store account doesn't seem like such a big deal. -

I'm trying to buy Adobe InDesign (cloud option) online. I live in South Africa and if you go to adobe.com/africa/purchase, it gives you the option to go to the South African Adobe store. When I click on the link, everything goes well until I get to the payment section. Here I can enter my credit card details but I cannot change the country - it specifies United States and I am obliged to choose a state and enter a zip code. Help! How does one buy Adobe products online in SA?

When purchasing an app on my iPhone, it says I must first change from the US App Store to South Africa, I live in South Africa and have downloaded several apps before without any problem. What has changed ?

Sounds like you accidently got changed to another store....
So, go to Settings>iTunes & App Store, and click on your AppleID at the top. Then click on View account, sign in, and then click on Country/Region, and follow the instructions to change your store to South Africa.
That should take care of it!

To get any decent apps from apple in South Africa you have to open a fake USA account.
Everyone with other brand phones can get all the apps in South Africa.
I am sure there are more “smaller” countries around the world with the same watered down service. I don’t think that apple realizes that all these little numbers will add up and turn on them
