South East Asia Availabilty

I'd like to know when Sony will provide the Xperia Z1 Compact to South East Asian countries like Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore? Does Sony have any plans on the launch in these areas?
Has it launched here yet because a retail shop in Brunei (I live there) says it hasn't launched in the region. I thought it has been released globally.
I'm just asking to clear my misunderstandings, I guess..

Azure Websites down in South East Asia?

Looks like Azure Websites has been down for the past 30 minutes at least in South East Asia.
Can anyone else confirm this as an issue and does anyone at Microsoft have a timeline for resolving this?
Azure service status shows all is well at 2:41pm Sydney Australia time.

Skype server in South East Asia/Singapore

we are checking out the use of Skype for our international calls, but our latency to sip.skype.com is average 240ms, much too high.
Is it our ISP (Singtel Elite 10mbit) or are there no skype servers in Singapore?

Hello Fabian,
I wouldn't think with a 10 mb Internet connection that you would have that much latency. A good test is using Voxygen for network issues. You can go to the https:// tools . Voxygen . co . uk website and run their Skype test for complete comptability. It will point out any problems you my have in the network.
Also, if you are using a Router with a Firewall or a NAT device, make sure your ports 5060, 8000, and 8001 to 8020 are open in Both Directions using UDP.

New Databases are failing in East Asia And Japan

Creating new SQL database & server at present fail in East Asia & Japan locations -> After creating can't connect - VS 2013 also prompts for firewall despite Azure Management panel showing FW rules in place.
SQL Returns Error 64. (For the above locations)
Creating new SQL DB's & servers in US locations appears fine.
I often feel the guys that are supposed to manage azure are asleep at the wheel when it comes to non-US locations. It shouldn't have to be me that tells you when your services aren't provisioning correctly. IF anyone could be bothered please reply when the
services are functioning again in East Asia... *It's also silly I need to pay Azure to submit a ticket to tell them they're stuff is broken, Azure has once again wasted my time. If someone there wants to post links to obscure webpages that (of course) don't
fix the problem don't bother.
Minor Rant over ... just get things fixed.

There was an outage reported on Last Friday with VS online and has been resolved on the same day.
I suggest you to follow these steps and let us know if the issue still persists.

Issues with Azure South East Australia on Saturday @ 7am-8am Sydney Time

Hello there
Yesterday Saturday 10th of Jan @ approx 7.28am until 8am our CAS003AU virtual server was non responsive.
It came online on it’s own.
This server is in the Azure South East Australia region. I have checked your status pages and found logged an issue on 7th of Jan (UTC time) which doesn’t appear to correlate to this issue.
Can you urgently investigate and advise why this happened? Why it isn’t on your status page? How can we ensure this doesn’t happen again?

We had a service Incident with Cloud Services and Virtual Machine over East US region which was affected from Jan 9th 2015 22:49 UTC to Jan 10th 2015 1:48 UTC.
As per your issue, we dont not see any service incident over South East Australia region. We suggest you to open a Service Request with Azure Technical Support in order to dig deep to know the Root Cause Analysis of the issue.

North Central US. Engineers have validated that impact to SQL has recovered. A lingering issue remains with Service Bus, which is currently impacting VSO and Multi-Factor Authentication; this will be reflected in a separate post to the Service Health Dashboard.

I'm using Azure Powershell to retrieve all Windows Azure VM Images, can I filter it to show only available images located in "East Asia"?

modify the script to include logic to select images that are only available in the desired data center location.

Not sure, but that might be the Rotate View Tool. However, that should only show up when the tool is actively being used (not just when it is selected). It could have something to do with multi-touch capabilities that the table may have (two finger rotation should allow the canvas to rotate), but that also shouldn't cause the compass to appear.
A screen shot would help verify what you are seeing.

Step 1: Use SDO_UTIL.POINT_AT_BEARING to get points to the N,S,E,W of your area of interest
Step 2: Then use SDO_ON (or SDO_ANYINTERACT) to test if there's a feature at that point.

There are already many threads related to your Query .In order to Install Chinese Language pack you had to Download and Install An All Language OS pack on your device which will allow you Chinese language.If you want it you can try It this way :
First remove any OS pack from your PC or laptop then
1. Download the All Language OS pack from here and Install it in your PC or Laptop Carriers
(make sure you are downloading for the same model as you have )
2. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
Then using desktop software perform your full backup of your device.
3.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
5. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe.

My blackberry curve is from t mobile (UK). Have called them up about how to get chinese character (simplified) support and pinyin input, however, they dont have i idea where this can be sourced from, and refer me to here. Any ideas ??

I had Downloaded and Installed an OS All Language pack install it on my PC getting Thai Character and font support as well as language and input support.I think you had messed up something. Ok so let start it from begaining ,Please do exactly as mentioned :
