SP1 deployment -- not clear on recommendations around WMF 4.0

So WMF 4.0 is supported with Exchange 2013 SP1, and the prerequisite list calls out the installation order of things, including .Net, WMF4, and the other components and hotfixes. What isn't clearly documented is that for an existing server installation:
- should I install WMF4 before installing SP1 (thus running CUx on an unsupported WMF temporarily)
- should I install WMF4 post SP1 (thus running SP1 on the wrong WMF temporarily)
- does it not matter?
We typically reboot servers post-installs, and WMF4 *requires* a reboot, so if it needs to go first, we have to reboot twice.
Thoughts?

Accroding to the technet article:http://technet.microsoft.com/library/aa996719(v=exchg.150).aspx ,the Windows Management Framework 3.0 and Windows Management Framework 4.0
are both supported in Exchange 2013 SP1 and later, but Windows Management Framework 4.0 is not supported in Exchange 2013 CU2, CU3.
If you deploy a new exchange server on a new windows server, you should install Windows Management Framework 4.0 before installing SP1.
If you install exchange server on an existing windows server with Windows Management Framework 3.0 , we can install Windows Management Framework 4.0 post installing SP1.

we are deploying the SP1 via SCCM 2012 , and the success rate is around 50 %, its a Light touch installation where user will initiate the installation via Software Center ( Web based )
i was able to gather few errors , and this are the errors which failed during SP1 Installation 0x800f0828,
some errors which sccm reports display are

10008
10021-
17031 -
1602 - User Cancelled installation
113 - No more internal file identifiers available
10070 - File handle reference is no longer available
10050 - A socket operation encountered a dead network
11170 - The task sequence manager could not successfully complete execution of the task sequence
i could not find the reason for some of the errors, also i am looking for a fix/woraround if any
Also i have noticed that in few computers the task seq failed at a place where after the sp1 installation a reboot happens and then PGP BYPASS utility is uninstalled, it did not start the PGP bypass uninstall after reboot
is there a way to cut short the Task seq and keep it simple ?
right now its like this
1. checking for prerequisite : checks for OS Name and OS version
2. installs PGP Bootgaurd Bypass
3. System Restart
4. Installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1
5. Final Restart
6. uninstall PGP Bootgaurd Bypass

I have strange issue. automatic payment run is executed and after that i have messgae
Posting orders: 23 generated, 22 completed
i have 23 clearing document but one document which is generated its not cleared the open item and even am not finding that
document no in FB03 t code.
can you give give me your overview on this issue

With reference to the issue reported, as you have noticed the number of generated documents and the number of completed documents are different
-> "Posting orders: 23 generated, 22 completed". This is a clear indicator that there was something wrong with the update process and the payment document did not get posted. The reason why you have more documents generated than completed maybe due to update terminations on the executing the payment run. It means one of document was not posted
in the database. You could find the terminated update using SM13. Here you can find an update termination found via sm13 when user processed the payment.
Also please review the attached note 86578, especially the third recommendation and payment run processing option number 1. Comparison of 'Completed' orders to 'Generated' orders as stated will result in
identification of incomplete posting problems. Also check this note 70085 which has very good information:
If you have such terminations in future and documents were not posted, then please try the following
F110 menupath: Edit > Payments > After termination >
Draw up again.
Else the correction to be taken is to recreate manually the missing document and update the relevant cleared line items with the
payment document as the clearing document:

2.Pay the invoices manually.
You should be able to avoid double payment by using the below option in the print program i.e.
You should always select the flag "Payment doc.validation" on running your RFFO* report.
It gives an option to check if the payment documents are already in the system or not, and if it's not the print program excludes this data for payment.

CUBE IS NOT CLEARING THE DATA ON CONDITIONAL SCRIPT(ISSUE WITH NULLIFICATIO

I am using AWM 10.2.0.2.0A and database is 10g Release 2 to build a cube.
Before the monthly incremental load I need to clear the old data.
For clearing(Nullifying) the cube I am using the new "Clear" command.
The Clear command has two options.
A) clear all the data without using any limits and
B) clear the current status. The option A is working perfectly fine. The issue
is when we need to clear only two months of data from the cube and I am using
Clear STATUS (option B )option.
After the execution data is not cleared (cube
is still showing the old data)

Can you check my final setup? Two things not clear yet

Just when I thought I got it all figured out, something new (at least to me) pops up and raises more questions than answers. So I go on and search more and more and more and now finally I think i've got my setup allmost ready to order. Could you check it and help me out on the final insecurities? Thanx a bunch.
Oh and please, if you have a suggestions to change something I feel is allready o.k (so no questions)...make it a suggestion with enough info to let me make a choice in the matter. It appears to me that the i7-2600K is indeed a great processor, delivering great value for money, for the majority of general-purpose applications, but
how does it perform when one works with large or complex projects, and multitask, such as having DW do a complete validation on multiple DHTML files, including SSE, running a resize action in PS on a couple of thousand images, encoding large files in FL and PR doing an export to a complex long form BRD?
I was very tempted, and came very close, to buying an i7-2600K for myself, but after learning just how much high-end video editing can demand from a system, I became hesitant to buy the i7-2600K with its platform. I need to be sure that the system I buy has no limitations for the work I need to do with it.
If Intel had video editing in mind when designing the i7-2600K, it would not have had integrated graphics, which is of no use when we need a nVidia card.
Regardless of the fact that according to http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/display/core-i7-2600k-990x.html the i7-2600K outperformed many pricier products for a higher-end LGA1366 platform (even the $1000 i7-990X Extreme Edition yielding significantly to Core i7-2600K within the majority of general-purpose applications, except during video processing and transcoding, final rendering and a few specific tasks, such as encryption and batch image processing), Intel still positioned this processor as a mid-level processor, for a reason.
Intel knew before release what this mid-level i7-2600K was capable of, therefore releasing it positioned as a mid-level processor, they did so having the architecture to follow up with a mid-level processor that will outperform the i7-2600K, within the same price category, else who would buy Intel's next mid-level processors?
I suspect that for those who are willing to hold out and wait just a bit longer, so they can put their money where it counts, Intel has a pleasant surprise coming soon, and that the new platform will not be evolutionary like it has been for years, but revolutionary with feature improvements from Sandy Bridge like Intel's tri-gate transistor technology, PCI Express 3.0 support and Graphics DirectX 11 and OpenCL support, a bigger graphics performance and bigger CPU performance boost compared to Sandy Bridge.
what makes you think you need a raid controller.... the vast majority of Adobe users do not need one or an 8 drive raid array..
Yes, for those who never need a hardware raid controller, using it for general-purpose applications, the 2600K and its P67 or Z68 platform is nice.
The OP did not specify whether or not he will need a hardware controller, wherefore I cared to post my post #7 above,
nor did he specify his source material, editing style, the nature of his timelines and the time pressure he is under with his projects (other than a mention in his original post of his girlfriend's time request), or how long he intends to use the system before upgrading to the next one.

How do I highlight text in the new Pages? It's not clear.

I have the new version of Pages. And it appears that highlighting of text is an issue. This is a basic function.
I found there is one quick key version, but doesn't clearly explain how to change highlighting colours. How to get into it.
I have to explain this to my 80 year old mom, who we told to get a Mac because it was easier!
So if anyone has it laid out step 1, 2, 3, that would be helpful, because it's not clear to me either.

Apple - please to a quick fix for this one, it should be the same as changing the size or the font or like bold or italic. Simple, clear, fast and doable..... for anyone!

Thanks for the list. I had found it in LibreOffice, tucked away in the Background tab of the Character pane opened by the Character... menu item in the Format menu, and named "Background Color. A few steps further down than in Pages. Apache OpenOffice has it in the same place. But both also have a hilight icon in the toolbar.
I didn't fin highlighting or Color fill in Text Edit (v1.8). Might need a further search.
But this well-equipped party of (one) oscurantist did find a shorter path to highlighting text in Pages '09, cleverly hidden in plain view! See the image below.

I'm aware that changing the text colour is not highlighting.
But YeOldMacFan pointed out how to change text colour AND how to change background colour of text, using Character fill, found in the Advanced Options (Pages 5) or the More (Pages '09) tab of the Text Inspector.
Character Fill fills the space around the character with the chosen colour. As shown above, it's essentially the same effect as dragging a hiliter pen along a line of printed text.
Unfortunately, whats shown above is the Character fill well on the format bar of Pages '09—right out in the open like the highlighter pen button in LibreOffice, and presumeably in MS Word. I don't have Pages 5 (avoiding it until a few more of the missing features arrive), but I do note that Pages for iOS offers highlight as one of the options in the contextual menu that appears when a block of text is selcted.
The process appears to be:
tap twice to select some text.
drag the handles at each end of the selection to adjust what's selected.
tap Highlight in the menu that has appeared on the screen.
One thing missing appears to be colour choice. The default is a 'hiliter yellow'. I didn't see a way to select a different colour.

Hope is good, but taking action is useful.
Pages menu > Provide Pages Feedback > Make your request that this be added to Pages 5. Requests made through Provide ...Feedback go directly to Apple. Comments and questions here are read by users like yourself, and we don't have the ability to change the way the apps work. Not directly,anyway.

Images on web page not clear

Just got a MacBook Air, running 10.7.3 and noticing that on many web sites (firefox and safari are the same), the images just are not clear. They are a bit fuzzy, and some have some sort of weird border around them. I have attached a screen shot of the amazon home page. Notice the weird gray area around the letters and images? Is there a setting or something that can make this better? Thanks.

Your displayed image is fiairly clear with no major anomlies, other than what looks like either slight drop shadow and anti-aliasing.
Upon closer inspection (close zoom), you see what looks like some compression and/or scaling artifacts.
Take a look at these two images. The first one is with the artifacts present at high zoom. The second is with the artifacts removed.
If this is what you are seeing, and it bothers you. there isn't much you can do. (it is the quality of the image from Amazon)
If on the otherhand, this post doesn't make sense, and you see the same problem on both my images, have your MBA checked out at a Genius Bar.

Comments:
Use JDK 1.3 and run the application. When user clicks on Menu and clicks on Child Menu, sub elements are shown and if user clicks on Tab Two, Menu Items are not cleared because it's parent menu is disabled. The same application works fine in Jdk 1.4.1.
I am searching for BUG ID from Sun's bug database. If any one of you have a work around solution for this problem or bug id, kindly post the same at the earliest.

so theres a price difference so what you do is create a GL called the price difference GL if you have one thats fine make sure you post the price difference into the price difference GL account created you can create GL account in FS00, the other way is to set a tolerance limit set the tolerance limit to 10%.

WLI V2.1 install error: WebLogic Server 6.1 SP1 is not installed.

I installed WLS 6.1 and then Service Pack 1 (separately).
I then installed WLI V2.1 and got the error.
WebLogic Server 6.1 SP1 is not installed.
This is on Windows NT.
The problem was due to the registry.xml file being empty of content. Thus the
install did not know where the WLS 6.1 SP1 was. The Service Pack 1 for WLS 6.1
emptied this file, incorrectly.
I think if you download and install WLS 6.1 Service Pack 1 in one install and
not separately the emptying of the registry.xml does not occur.
To get around the problem, I got BEa Support to send me a registry.xml and I edited
it to be my own machine and BEA_HOME directory. The WLI V2.1 install then worked.(Not
the safest solution but it worked!)

The installer running for all most 3 Hours, No Progress in the (Showing 0% Progress) and Copying.....
We have doubted JDK/JRE version, So Cancelled installation.
Without uninstalling the JDK7, We installed JDK 6 with 45 Updates(ie.jdk-6u45-windows-i586) into different folder.
Attempted to re-install the OBA 11g by specifying the JDK6 update 45 Path._
We get the error error INST-07515: oracle.bi.bishiphome is not found.
Right now, we are struck, no idea how to proceed further.
Forum support is required to resolve this hurdle.

You need to enter the Apple ID and password that was used to set up/activate the phone. There is no way around this.

Just to add a little on what Gerd said, for web deployed forms your icon files must be of type .gif
You cannot have .ico files in web deployed forms

If you're using client/server technology, you also specify the UI_ICON registry and put your icons under that directory. In client server you can use .ico files

Well, the Airport Express is also compatible with 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g. If your Wii is unable to connect to the wireless network, I recommended changing the wireless security of your network.
Open Airport Utility, select your Airport Express and click Edit. Navigate to the Wireless tab and change your security from WPA2 Personal to WPA/WPA2 Personal. Then click Update on the bottom right.

My ipad 2 will not connect to the internet I've tried to manually enter it but its not recognising it or finding any connections. I've reset it to factory settings twice and its not clearing it. Does anyone have any ideas??

My ipad 2 will not connect to the internet I've tried to manually enter it but its not recognising it or finding any connections. I've reset it to factory settings twice and its not clearing it. Does anyone have any ideas??

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

EP 60 WAS640 Unix install; Deployment NOT successful for DQE_JDBCDriver_lib

During the install of portal (WAS 640 and oracle successfully installed) I get the following error:
Deployment NOT successful for DQE_JDBCDriver_library
The installation stops. I checked SMPand found nothing relevant. I am running UNIX on oracle.
Any idea on where to dissect this issue?
