SP3 Software download clarification

Question

Hi
I have installed SAP HANA SP2 and due to some problem my engine cannot be started.
Instead of solving this SP2 issue thinking of going to SP3 directly.
So Planning to download Enterprise platform and install sp3.
In this case, I am thinking of going fresh SP3 installation.
What are the things to be considered in this case?
1)Simply delete all HANA folders in Linux system.(deletion not required?)
2)Restart Linux system
3)Since i dont want to use Unified installer, I am thinking of downloading and installing manually as simple as below.
・Install SAPHOSTAGENT(linux) SAP HOST AGENT 7.20(path 95 recent)
・HDB Studio Repository(skip)
・SAP HANA DB(linux)　Patch 24(recent)
・SAP HANA Database Client(Windows)　Patch 24
・HANA Database Studio(Windows)　patch 24
Above all i have below questions.
1)Not necessary to delete the folders?(step 1)?
(what difference in updating SP3 and installing fresh SP3)
2)Does the above softwares are enough to install SP3? any OS level patch should be done?
3)Also i would like to know whether below things are compulsory?(displayed in SWDC)
->Any SAP kernel needs to be updated? SAP KERNEL 7.20 EXT 64-BIT ??
->SAP HANA Installation & Update
  (did not downloaded Hana unified installer/LM structure/SUM for HANA)

Hello Magalingam,
to add to Lars, you find in the Installation Guide the following paragraph:
"The components of SAP HANA can only be installed by certified hardware partners on validated hardware
running a specific operating system. Any other system or content developed with such systems is not
supported by SAP. For more information, see the information page of the product version. Support
Package Stacks (SPS) can be downloaded and applied to appliances according to agreements with
the respective hardware partner."
Please talk to you hardware partner to get a clear install.
