Sp43882 error message after upgrade to windows 7
hello,
i've just upgraded to windows 7 32 bit and installed the update sp43882 on my pavilion dv4 1409tu.
the problem now lies during the installation of the update,this error message appear
'' error 1904.module c:\program files\digitalpersona\bin\DPGPOUpdate.dll failed to register. HRESULT=2147024891. Contact your support personnel"
what should i do?
should i abort,retry or ignore the message?

i upgraded to iTunes 7.3 and i got a message that said something about some files were missing and i needed to uninstall and try again. i uninstalled it and now i can't even download iTunes. i can download but i can't do anything else. anybody else having this problem?
Yes, i had the same error message after upgrading to 7.3.
I am using windows XP - i went to the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Scrolled to iTunes & clicked on Change (not Remove), then clicked Repair. It all works fine after that.

I am getting this error message after upgrading to iOS5: "iTunes cannot sync apps to the iPad "ray's iPad" because the apps installed on the iPad could not be determined."
I wiped it out and restored from backup but I am still getting the same message.I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and that fixed it. Here are the specific instructions that I was given.

Error message after Upgraded from 2.53ghz (533 FSB) to 3.2ghz (HT)

As you can see i'm a newbie on this board, however I've frequently visited here once in a while. Anyway, the problem I currently have after I upgraded my cpu from 2.53 ghz to 3.2ghz HT (Northwood) is that I not very often (few times so forth since monday) see this error message after reboot my pc :

As i stated before I've never seen this message before the upgrade. So, here is my configurations:

* may be this causes this error message because as I read it on the discription page of the 875P NEO-LSR that it will only support DUAL channel (PC3200 type) with HT CPU. So, i suspect this may cause the problem but I havent try to rearrange my memory to one channel (1 x 2) yet.
I will greatly appreciate it if someone in here who may has experienced it before or know what all this means. Please adviseThanks for your advise bejon2000.

when installing the new kernel i got a message to change my menu.lst so it changed "/dev/discs/disc0/part3" to "/dev/hda3" (and nothing else) cause of udev instead of devfs.
after rebooting i get few error messages:

for the record - network interfaces never show up in /dev - they're not normal devices
edit: I guess I should provide some help...
ifconfig and "ifconfig -a" will list network devices (also in /proc/net somewhere). If you do not have a network device that means that your module is not properly loaded for that device.
This should have nothing to do with a devfs/udev switch and everything to do with a kernel upgrade.
Just for some more info, can you please report the output of:
· lsmod
· uname -r
· ls /lib/modules
· ifconfig -a -
Several attempts to upgrade to iTunes 11 have failed. After an upgrade to 11 the error message reads: "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." At this point--after the upgrade to iTunes 11--my PC running Windows XP loses audio playback for all functions--in iTunes, in the browser and the volume icon disappears from the System Tray. Only by removing iTunes 11, and then using System Restore to turn back the OS settings can I return the PC to normal functioning.
I did that. I reinstalled iTunes 10.5. Everything seemed fine, but when I try to plug in and copy a CD to my iPhone 4S an error message reads roughly: 'iPhone 4S requires iTunes 10.5 or higher to work.'
What might be the problem with my audio configuration?
Why doesn't my iPhone 4S work with iTunes 10.5? It used to work with iTunes 10.5.
Please advise.

Yesterday I upgraded my iPad Air from 7.1.2 to 8.3 after holding off upgrading until now. Before the upgrade I backed up the iPad without any problems but since the upgrade I can't back up the iPad – it goes to step 2 of 4 and stays there for ages, and then I get a pop up box saying "iTunes could not back up the iPad "... iPad" because the iPad disconnected."
I've just tried setting up iTunes on another PC and backing up the iPad to this iTunes and got the same error message so it's not the iTunes setup on either computer (Windows 7 PCs).
Everything I've tried so far seems to be working on the iPad but I can't do any backups.
Any suggestions on what else to try will be much appreciated.Sometimes resetting the iPad system helps. Did you try that? If not, try it. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen, then let go of the buttons and let the iPad start up. Then try to backup again.

No Audio Output Device Installed message after Upgrading to Windows 7
I have an HP m7490n Desktop computer that I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium. I have been to numerous forums and tried to uninstall & reinstall my sound drivers. So far, I cannot find anything that works and my computer has no sound.
I also receive an error message from Windows Update saying that it cannot install the optional NVidia High Definition Audio Driver. Can someone provide any additional information that would help me solve this problem? Loving Windows 7 so far, except no sound!

[Solved] xorg server & keyboard conf error messages after upgrade
I ran my daily upgrade (today was big, from FF to the kernel to xorg) and I was not able to login on GDM afterwards.
It's weird. The X server will start, and so will the GDM login screen. But entering the password will result in a GDM crash (I later found out that KDM and SLIM have the same issue; KDM not starting and SLIM refusing the keyboard input). So after starting an alternate console and trying to start x (startx), I have this error message:
"Th e XKEYBOARDMAP keymap compiler (xbcomp) reports:
Error: Cannot close "/tmp/server-0.xkm" properly (not enough space?)

I have been fiddling with the keyboard config on xorg.conf but I'm not sure I'm getting anywhere. Also, I downgraded the xorg-server and xkeyboard config packages just to be sure.

* I don't really understand this notion of a keyboard issue. My keyboard and its layout work properly but I will not be able to login regardless of login through GDM, KDM or Slim. Yet it's worth noting that in the case of GDM and SLIM the X server starts; I see the graphical interface, I click, etc. but when I type the trouble starts.
* I tried to check my xsessions-errors file. The file is really big under a frame buffer, and it wasn't clear to me, but I found strange that the log was reporting all sorts of attempts to start KDE. I don't exactly know what's going on.
If anybody has any clue, let me know... It's becoming very frustrating.

I got the following message when trying to telnet to our switch after upgrading from 3.3(4a) to 3.3(5b) on our MDS 9120 (after supplying my credentials):
telnet login is temporarily not available as startup configuration is being applied.
This was after the switch reloaded after issuing the install all command. Since I couldn't telnet I logged in via the console and noticed there was no startup config but the running config was there and correct. After about 30 minutes with the switch being up everything was back to normal. The startup config was there and I all services were up and running.
Has anyone experienced something like this before with an upgrade? During all my past upgrades after the reload (single supervisor switches) the switch was up and running just fine. Something a new to this upgrade for me is that this switch doesn't have an active mgmt interface, we reach this switch using IPFC (create ip interfaces on vsans that are merged between switches).Everything is currently set to the defualt levels.

event id 85 messages that state "Failed to query the results of bpa xpath: then there are a number of different entries with different location and the end of every message states "the system cannot find the file specified. The system cannot
find the path specified.
The computer is a stand alone root certificate server that was running 2008R2. I have not had this issue with any other upgraded server though this is the first standalone server I have upgraded.
There are also some Event ID 63 WMI errors in the application log indicating that the account being used to register providers is the LocalSystem account which is a security concern.
I searched the forums but no hits.

Can you run the BPA scan for the machine? BPA scan can be run using Server Manager console itself.
For this, go to "All Servers" canvas. Scroll below on this canvas to Best Practices Analyzer (BPA) tile. Click on "Tasks --> Start BPA Scan". Select the machine in opened window and complete the scan.

Error message after updating for Windows XP
I just tried to do an update for my Windows XP but now it is saying AdiADID_AcquireMatchSlotif Necessary could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll?
Has anyone had this message before? I completely uninstalled I-tunes and tried to reinstall but still get this message...also getting "Windows error 127".See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

I just (attempted to) upgrade to 7.3.2.6 (and after the install, it all seems OK for now) - but during the install, I got a "files in use" error message window, mentioning that Windows Explorer was running (Process Id: 432), giving me the option to Retry, Ignore or Exit.
I tried all options - I even Exited and rebooted - and re-upgraded after that, but keep getting the same error... The driver that originally caused this problem is AMD display driver version 15.200.1046.2 dated 7/15/2015.
The driver installed through this process might have an older date, such as 15.200.1055.0 dated 7/6/2015. That's okay.I'm having the same problem. I got error message 21. I went to apple store. they are saying i have a hardware error. Really, my phone was working before the update. Asked me for $150 to get another one when I am due to get a new one and wanted to pass this one on to my child.
