SPA-3102 Line is disconnecting every 10 minutes and 40 sec

Hi,
I've a SPA-3102 connected behind a Motorola router, for any reason I'm not able to find, each time you call someone, after 10 min and 40 sec, the line cuts, and you have to call back.
Software Version: 3.3.6(GW) Hardware Version: 1.4.5(a)
SPA-3102 has a fix IP, and config has been done by my phone IP provider, does anyone have an idea which settings needs to be modified to avoid this cut?
Thanks for your help

I think under the “Regional” tab, you will have “Control Timer Values” and I belive thios is where you have to adjest the timer. I am not quite sure as well what parameters are needed to tweek in this section but I am sure that it should be one of them. Maybe try adjusting the “Reorder delay”. I suggest contacting Cisco Tech support to further look into your concern. I believe this unit belongs to the business series devices that Cisco is now supporting. Try to go to this link for the other business series devices and the site where you can get hold of Cisco for support:

  • DSL Connection disconnecting every minute

I'm having major issues. I'm in California and as of 6:20pm August 2nd, 2009. My connection has been disconnecting every minute. I restarted my computer and turned my modem off. When I'm browsing through the Internet it disconnects me, and when I try to browse through websites it says "Waiting for website" its getting really annoying. Is there disconnecting issues to anyone in California, especially Southern California?
Keep in mind I've never had this sort of problem before. Is like Verizon doing some kind of work on their DSL lines?

Here is what most of all that stuff means..
Margin (dB) - Signal to noise margin. 6 is pretty bad possibly unusable at times, 20 is very good. You normally want 12dB or better IIRC from back in my DSL days. The higher the number, the better to a point.
Line Attenuation - Measure the amount the signal has degraded. Below 20dB is excellent, above 50 is poor, fill in the dots for anything in between.
Transmit Power - The higher the number, the more power is required to transmit. This number will vary based on the other numbers.

  • I'm getting a bell sound every minute, and don't know how to turn it off.

I'm getting a bell sound every minute, and don't know how to turn it off.

I just fixed it!  I believe it was my Time Machine Connection.  I have a wireless connection to a NAS storage device (MyBookLive), which was not working properly.  I fixed it yesterday, and after time machine was downloaded, the bell went away.  I think Time Machine was trying to work every minute, and gave an alert when it couldn't.   Does this sound plausible?

Check and see if you've got too many things running concurrently. Double-click the home key to see your list of most recent programs. Press and hold the icons in the app tray until they jiggle, and then remove the ones you don't need. Even when programs are "closed" they still leave footprints in memory so that if you were to re-access that program, it will open up faster. This should free up some memory.
If you don't have many apps installed and running, then I am not sure what would be causing your problems.

Hi. We've had errors logged every few minutes for several years and would like to know how to stop them please? The log path and a file name example is:

The last 2 lines are repeated every minute.
We stopped the built-in Jrun web server after installation years ago as it's an uncessary component in production. I don't understand why something is still requesting data from the Jrun server every minute.
    Setup: CF 8.01 x64 installed as multi-server instance on Windows 2008 R2 with IIS7.5.
Thanks in advance for any solutions or suggestions.

  • Prepay plan seems to have morphed into pay per minute and text?

My plan is a $35 per month / 500 min / unl text / unl web on an LG Cosmos 3. My prepay period runs from the 15th to the 15th.
I have been auto paying my $35 and staying below my minutes for the most part. My extra $10 credit has been decreasing bit by bit over a year's time till it has been $2.65 for the last few months - in fact, my usage record shows that it was at $2.65 right up to my Dec 15 auto payment of $35.00..
Using my Verizon usage records online, I just counted my Nov 15 to Dec 15 minutes, and I racked up 510 minutes RIGHT BEFORE my next $35 prepay was deposited. That is an extra $2.50 it would have cost. Why didn't you just use my $2.65 in my account?   Yet now, I noticed that SINCE the $35 was deposited I am being charged for every single call and text as if I am on some other plan.   Is there some fine print in my prepay plan that says when there are overages that use up the account balance that you start charging by the text and the minute from then on, even if you had the funds and then prepayed for the month on time?
Since you have been doing that, from Dec 15 till today (the 21st) you have decreased my balance by subtracting for every call and text from $37.65 (the $2.65 in my account + the $35 prepay) and say I now have "$4.86 left good through 3/15/15." Plus now you say my web use will cost me $0.99 per day!
In your informational videos you say, "check your balance to make sure you have enough to cover your usage."  I knew I was close, so I kept checking my balance, and it was $2.65 right up to my next auto payment. There was no indication that I was using those funds up, and your records don't indicate it either.
My OVERAGE was 10 minutes during the LAST prepayed period.  You are charging me as if my overage is every minute and text of THIS prepay period!
I have been thinking of switching to Cricket, and if this can't get resolved today, I may end up in there store this afternoon.
Thank you for your - up until now - pretty good service.

prepaid is not monthly it's 30 days. That is probably the issue.

  • Invoke runbook every minute

This may possibly be a stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway ;-)
We have created a runbook to provision users in Lync, and this runbook goes every minute. I have the box ticked for wait for completion on the invoke runbook activity.
On enabling a handful of users the process is very quick, but we're getting to a point in our lync deployment that we are adding sometimes over 100 users at a time. I'm seeing some errors that I can't really correlate with anything else, so my question is
    this.
If a runbook runs every minute, and the data it's working on takes more than a minute to complete, will the runbook religiously spawn every minute and perhaps trample on work of a previous runbook?
Jeffrey S. Patton Jeffrey S. Patton Systems Specialist, Enterprise Systems University of Kansas 1001 Sunnyside Ave. Lawrence, KS. 66045 (785) 864-0242 | http://patton-tech.com

    Ryan,
I've double-checked my runbook and have that set, and yet I'm seeing what appears to be the runbook running multiple times. As it runs every minute, under the Log tab I saw several instances with a status of running.
My runbook is actually two, the first has the every minute schedule, and the invoke runbook activity that passes data over to the second part of the runbook that actually does the work. This worker runbook has an init data activity, and then three script
activities that carry out the work of getting a list of users from AD that meet the provisioning criteria, then enable a given user, and finally clear out the provisioning criteria.
On the invoke runbook activity, I also have set wait for completion to be true. If what I'm seeing is normal then cool, otherwise i'm inclined to put in some sort of check just to make sure.

  • WRTU54G-TM/SPA-3102/Asterisk Disconnect Tone/Busy-Reorder tone?

I have a setup where I'm using the T-Mobile@Home Router (WRTU54G-TM) as a Trunk on my Asterisk system (PIAF).  The WRTU54G (Phone 1 Port) is connected to the FXO (Line) port of the SPA-3102.  I can making outgoing calls without any problems.  However, incoming calls to my T-Mobile@home number once it hits the voicemail system on the Asterisk system and if the call hangs up before or after leaving a message, the "system" does not release the line and  not do so unless I physically unplug the phone cord from either port (SPA-3102 or WRTU54G-TM).  If I answer the cincoming calls and either party terminate the call, there is no disconnect issues;  only when the call goes to voicemail.  Is there any changes I can make to either the SPA-3102 or Asterisk, that will solve this problem/issue?
The problem seem to be related to:
    a) CPC isssue and/or
    b) Busy/reorder tone and/or
    C) Disconnect Tones (does anyone know what the specs are for the T-Mobile system?  Looks like this: 480@-30,620 @-30;4(.25/.25/1+2))
I saw on another site where an individual was able to do this:
..."Im running FreePBX on Asterisk and was able to use the busy/reorder tone by editing some lines in my zap channel config files.  My solution was to simply program the PBX to detect that busy tone that T-mobile's @Home router makes after the call has ended, and use that as a signal to know when to hang up. Worked excellently, although the tail end of our voice mail message usually records a couple seconds of the busy signal... which I decided was not worth worrying about."..........
Not sure how I would implement a similar scheme, since I'm not using any ZAP channels or digium cards.  Any help or suggestions welcome!

You could try to adjust this options on your SPA3102 PSTN Line. Under PSTN Disconnect Detection.
    PSTN Long Silence Duration
This is minimum length of PSTN silence (or inactivity) in seconds to trigger a gateway call disconnection if <Detect Long Silence> is yes.
    The default is 30.
     Try to lower the values.
    And Also PSTN Silence Threshold:
This parameter adjusts the sensitivity of PSTN silence detection. Choose from {very low, low, medium, high, very high}. The higher the setting, the easier to detect silence and hence easier to trigger a disconnection.
    The default is medium.
Regarding for the 480@-30,620 @-30;4(.25/.25/1+2. basically this it the default settings for the US Disconnect tones. No need for you adjust.
    Hope this help

  • Create line extension between two SPA-3102

I`m having problems to create a line extension between two SPA-3102
I have one SPA-3102 connected to an analog PBX system with IP 192.168.0.201, and the other SPA-3102 with analog phone and IP 192.168.0.200
I succesfully setup them to make a call from the first to the second
But I couldn`t setup them to make a call from the second (192.168.0.200) and give me the dialtone of the PBX connected to the first SPA-3102 (192.168.0.201).
I could setup a hot line on the second SPA-3102 (192.168.0.200) and call to 192.168.0.201, but it doesn`t take the line to hear the pstn dialtone.
I saw many answers about this problem, but no one resolve the problem, i have the latest firmware. please, anyone could help me and if it`s possible to work please send me all the configuration needed.
    Thanks again

    Hi Jeremy,
I have a similar problem, I have one PSTN line (say Line1) with free minutes to mobiles, so its good for outgoing calls. The other line (say Line2) which i have is acually VoIP but it comes with its own hardware (magicJack if you have heard) so I can't use a SIP client and have to use the supplied Hw client, but it does give me an option to connect any normal phone to this magicJack (i suppose that would make it a fxs port). Now this magicJack is cheap for other people to call me.
I want to find a solution so that all the calls I receive on Line2 get forwarded to my mobile number via Line1. And if I receive any calls on Line1 they should be treated normally (my home phone rings). Do you have some idea how I can achieve this with minimal spend? Thanx
    Atif

  • My ichat keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes.

I got a new router and my internet and everything is working fine except for my iChat, which keeps disconnecting every couple of minutes. It's getting pretty annoying as it signs me off in the middle of a conversation. How do I fix it?

    Hi,
By default most are set to the middle of the range they have
Choose a number near one end.

  • ICHAT disconnects every five minutes...

My iChat disconnects every 5-10 minutes saying the connection was lost -- even though the browser still works! This only happens at my home with my wireless router.
Everywhere else I've used iChat (on other connections) it stays connected..
    HELP!

    Hi,
    Welcome to the    Discussions
A Browser and even the Mail app if you use it only use the internet now and then.
For Mail this is when mail is collected or sent.
For a Web Browser it is each time you change page (Some pages automatically refresh to keep the adverts up to date)
You may only notice a slight pause in a browser if it is waiting for the Internet to come back.
iChat is a truly "Always ON" app
With any Buddy list that logs in to AIM it will instantly indicate any change in status of a Buddy (On-line, Off line, Status message Changes).
As a result any issue with the Internet connection no matter how short will normally get the buddy list to fold (say Disconnected).
If this Home router is Wifi try changing the channel it uses so not to get interference from other nearby devices.

  • Internet disconnects every 10-30 minutes for about 1 minute each time

Hello!  My internet disconnects every so often for about a minute, then reconnects.  I don't see any patterns regarding time of day or weather.  Verizon says it's not an issue on their end.  Here are my stats:
    Transceiver Statistics
    Transceiver Revision:     7.2.3.0
    Vendor ID Code:     4
    Line Mode:     G.DMT Mode
    Data Path:     Interleaved
Transceiver Information     Downstream Path     Upstream Path
    DSL Speed (Kbits/Sec)     3360     800
    Margin (dB)     20.0     10.0
    Line Attenuation (dB)     19.5     13.0
    Transmit Power (dBm)     7.4     11.9
    Any ideas?  Thanks!

Yes, attached to the Westell 6300 is a D-Link wireless router WBR 1310. I don't have a house phone. I have a separate telephone line for the fax machine, and it has a DSL filter attached to it. I don't know what a micro-filter is.
    Thanks!

  • Airport keep disconnecting every few minutes

    Hi,
I don't know why, but my airport keeps disconnecting every few minutes, although it reconnects after that.
I'm sure there's no problem with my router since other PCs in my home are fine.
It's totally fine when I use my windows in the macbook (via bootcamp).
Anyone has the same problem or anyone knows the solution?
    Thanks.

I've had this issue for about a week and it has made my Macbook nearly impossible to use for anything other than local disk work.
Last night I tried running the standalone upgrade and it worked beautifully, however, upon booting up this AM I'm back to square one, constantly dropping the connection, ran the standalone update again and back in business with no drops.
While this is appears to be my temp workaround I don't want to be doing this on a daily basis.
