SPA 9000 CONFIGURATION IN FRANCE / UE

Hello,
I am trying to configure a SPA9000 and 4 SPA 941 in France. I have four VoIP lines, by Phonesystems.net VoIP provider.
I am looking for someone who did it in France or in European Union, and could send me a copy of his web configuration (by the save as option of Internet Explorer).
My email : [email protected]
Thanks.
FPC.

Uhmmmmmm.... good set-up but I guess there isn't answer at your question.
You just can't do it because your dial plan point to SPA400#3 and if that line is
busy you can do nothing.
You need some "last effort" routing that, i believe, isn't developped.

  • SPA 9000 Config

Is it possible to config the SPA 9000 to work in this environment?
Depending on what line is being called in to go to a AA message. For example someone calls in using Line1 it gets AA message A and if someone else calls in on Line2 and they will get AA message B? I have a client who has 2 businesses located in the same building and is trying to use the same Voice system but keeping them seperate. They do have a total of 2 SPA 9000's and 2 SPA 400's. I currently have it setup only using 1 9000, and 2 400s (each has 1 analog line coming in and only 1 is configured for voicemail for all extensions).
    Any Ideas?
    Thanks,
    Matt

No for what it is my understanding. AA settings are system wide so just one settings for any SPA9000. But, anyway, if you can have the PSTN line on different SPA400 and each line belongs to the different company, you can route them to the different SPA9000 and  rustle up the game.

  • Problem with internet and mail configuration(From France)

    Hey x)
I just got my Blackberry yesterday (I'm from France) with Universal Mobile- Bougues Telecome, forfait bloqué pour BlackBerry.
In that "package" i have SMS/mms ,internet and emails unlimited.
But i can't go to internet , its not working and when I'm trying to configure the mail option in "advanced option" , I don't have any kind of confirmation message.
I tried on the website but I got that error message:
    "Cannot create account:
This BlackBerry(R) device is not registered with your wireless service provider.
Please register this device and verify that the URL of the current web site matches
the one provided by your wireless service provider.
    To register:
    1. In the Application list on your device, click Options, or click Settings Options.
    2. Click Advanced Options > Host Routing Table.
    3. Click the Menu key and click Register Now.
If the error persists, contact your wireless service provider."
And so as I said, I did that manipulation but I don't have a confirmation when I put "host routing table".
And In the email configuration I just have the professional thing.
Can you please help me ?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
    Good luck.

I would like to start again my configuration and i need you help.
I don't find where i should put the following informations:
    -  My provider for the SIP is WideVoip.
    - I have a unical accompt number fo the 4 lines
    - I have the password for this 4 lines
    - A proxy adress
    - 4 phones numbers
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards

    Hi Hameed
I just received complaints of this exact issue with a SPA122....did you ever find out if there's to cut off the voltage when the lines are unregistered or no link on WAN?
    Thanks,
    George

  • Register SPA-9000 to an ITSP

Is it possible using just 1 SIP line to register all numbers that are registered to the SPA to an ITSP... IE that in the register it lists all of the contact URI's that the SPA is serving.

you just need to manually register the lines for the SPA9000. He wizard also will let you configure the 4 lines on the SPA9000.

  • JDK - Time configuration for France

    Hi!
I'm using GregorianCalendar class to get current date and time like above:
    GregorianCalendar today = new GregorianCalendar();
I'm located in Paris and the time I get is automatically converted to Greenwich Mean Time (so one hour less than the one on my server!). I found I had to specify a TimeZone to let it work properly:
GregorianCalendar calendar = new GregorianCalendar(TimeZone.getTimeZone("Europe/Paris"). But I have to make lots of changes in my aplpication...
So: Is there a way to configure directly JDK to get the same result?
    Thanks for all answers.
    Florent.

Your code should be producing the correct results.
The JavaDoc for GregorianCalendar state that the default constructor produces a Calendar with the default Locale and TimeZone. The default Locale and TimeZones are those supplied by your system ( your Server ).
I would suggest you check that your server has its Locale and Timezones correctly set.
This is a common problem, especially on Linux/Unix servers where this sort of setup is often overlooked after installation.

  • Configure 2 SPA9000...???

    Hi everyone,
I'd like to know if it's possible to configure two SPA9000 to work together (I'd like to enable a bridge).
    Can you help me?
Is it possible to allow the two SPA9000 to use a single SPA400 to make outside calls?

You can use 2 SPA-9000 but it is not recommended. You will have to change the port number for the < Multicast Address > and < Group Page Address >, so the clients will register to only one of the SPA-9000's.  On the SPA-941, you will have to change the port number for < Multicast Address > to match the SPA9000 that you want it to register with

  • SPA 303 and some kind of Click to Call?

I recently purchased the a single SPA 303 configured to an anveo.com acount - no thrills just one line easy setup for my home office.
I was trying to find some kind of solution so I could click on a phone number on the web and it would automatically dial out from my SPA 303.
Hopefully there's just some program I can install on my computer that can communicate with the SPA 303 without the need for a server.
I saw some stuff regarding CUCME but that seems like an overkill for what I'm trying to do. Also saw some stuff like Call Ctrl which has vanished from the internet (company went bust?).
some users on dslreports forums recommended a script which performs something akin to anveo web call, which places the call to the destination and then to my SPA phone - but frankly that's not what I want.
    Thanks in advance!

sorry the site's Ui was really laggy that day
I found this cool chrome extension called Cisco Dialer.
It works wonderfully with a simple setup (just put in the phone's IP address) hover over a gmail contact's number and a little phone pops up on the right hand side - click it and it automatically dials it through your cisco phone. I just wish this extension was chrome wide, not just for gmail contacts.

Only the uBR10k CMTS platform supports the SIP and SPA modules.
The SIP needs to be installed in Slots 1, 2, 3, or 4 of the Cisco uBR10k router (referred to as WAN slots).
The SPA's would then be installed into the SIP.
    The various SPA's available are:
Cisco Wideband SPA - For Wideband / M-CMTS solutions.
1-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet Shared Port Adapter - For network connectivity
5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Shared Port Adapter - For network connectivity
Here is an excerpt from the Cisco uBR10012 Universal Broadband Router SIP and SPA Software Configuration Guide:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/shared_port_adapters/configuration/ubr10012/12.3_23_bc/sipsp_d3.html
    SPA Interface Processors (SIP)
A SIP is a carrier card that inserts into a router slot like a line card. It provides no network connectivity on its own.
A SIP contains one or more bays (subslots), which are used to house one or more SPAs. The SPA provides interface ports for network connectivity.
During normal operation the SIP should reside in the router fully populated either with functional SPAs in all bays, or with a blank filler plate (SPA-BLANK=) inserted in all empty bays.
SIPs support online insertion and removal (OIR) with SPAs inserted in their bays. SPAs also support OIR and can be inserted or removed independently from the SIP.
    Shared Port Adapters (SPA)
A SPA is a modular type of port adapter that inserts into a bay of a compatible SIP carrier card to provide network connectivity and increased interface port density. A SIP can hold one or more SPAs, depending on the SIP type.
SPAs are available in various types. The Cisco Wideband SPA is a single-wide, half-height SPA. Figure 2-1 shows how bays are numbered on the Cisco Wideband SIP.

  • Spa 400 vs spa3102

Is there the same bug with the spa 400 and the 3102? The 3102. If you make a call to the pstn, its answer before the phone line start ringning, does someone has the spa400, when you call the pstn, does it wait until the reverse polarity? thanks

SPA-400 works differently with SPA-3102. SPA-400 can’t work with out SPA-9000. This device has 4 PSTN ports where you can connect 4 POTS line and has a voicemail server capability. You need register SPA-400 to the SPA-9000 to be able to forward the calls to PSTN or vice versa.
When calling out to PSTN from IP phone registered on the SPA-9000, dial 9 first and then it will hear the PSTN tone then dial the number of the PSTN number.

  • Multiple extensions on SPA 525g2

    Hi Guys,
We do have Cisco SPA 525g2 configured with 3 extensions. Line 1 works perfectly just fine (no issue at all). But with the use of the OTHER LINES, i can't seem to make it work. Registrations seems to be fine, audio works for a few times at first but after that no audio at all. I do have tried resetting it to factory default and set it up again but no changes.
On Line 1, the audio works but the rest of the line have no audio.
    Any advise??? Please help.
    Thank you,
    jace

Little confused still by this, just want to make sure I'm clear.  My current set up with Asterisk is you make users which are extensions, and then enable voicemail on them, so for example:
    Extension 300 - Voicemail enabled
    Extension 301 - Voicemail enabled
    Extension 302 - No Voicemail
Etc.  And it's there that you set the username/password for each extension.  So on a SIP phone, under Line 1 registration I'd have it register Extension 300, and line 2 could register Extension 301 and so on.  If someone calls extension 300, line 1 rings and if no answer goes to the voicemail box for 300.  If someone calls Extension 301, then line 2 on the phone rings and if no answer goes to voicemail for Line 2.
I do understand what you mean how each phone is it's own "User", and so the way I have it set up now is my 7970 is my user, and it has Extension 300 with voicemail assigned to Button 1 which works fine.
I just simply need a way so that Extension 301 shows up on Button 2 on the phone, so that I can select that line to make an outbound call (with a different caller ID), and if someone calls Extension 301, then that line on my phone with also ring, BUT will go to the voicemail box for 301.  I don't need my 7970 to light up that there's a vm or anything like that, it just needs to capture the vm.
If I make a floating extension or extension mobility for a new user with extension 301 and enable voicemail, then calling 301 does go to its voicemail box, but I'm just not sure how I would have that show up on my 7970 as line 2 and ring on there and make outbound calls on there as well.  Thank you so much!

  • SPA9000 for Newbie

Hi all, I am thinking of buying the SPA400 and SPA900 for my home business. I have never used a PBX before. There are a few questions I would like to ask:
    1) We have only one PSTN line. Do we need at least two lines/phone numbers in order to forward an extension to an outside number? That is if an incoming call is directed to an extension which is set to forward to my mobile phone, do we need two phone lines to do that? One for incoming calls and one for the forwarding?
     2) If my line has call waiting and a second caller calls in, can the SPA9000 pick up the second call at the same time the first call is still connecting?
     3) I am confused by the terms multi-line hunting and DID. Where can I get more information about these terms?
Any information will be appreciated! Thank you!

i believe that all the configuration that you need will work with the SPA-9000 and SPA-400.  i suggest that you visit the FAQ for SPA-9000 so you can verify if it suit your needs.

  • Problem with spa400 and pap2t

    Hello,
I have a problem with spa400 and pap2t. If from analogue telephone behind pap2t call outside, work, cal call go out go into spa400 e on the rtg system.
If I call from external, the calll arrive to spa400 but the spa400 don't forward the call to papa2t.
    Suggestions?
    Thanks

No the experiment is just with spa400 and pap2t. spa 9000 there isn't.
There is a method for using the call incoming and outcoming only with this spa400 and pap2t.
    Thanks!
