SPA122 firmware upgrade greyed out

My SPA122 has firmware 1.2.1 and I wanted to upgrade to the 1.3.1_003 when I noticed the Browse button and the Upgrade button are greyed out. The option Upgrade Enable: is set to Yes in the Provisioning settings and I tried two browsers already, IE and Chrome

Hi Liviu,
Check out the "browse button disabled / upgrade button grayed out" link in the ATA resource guide.in the troubleshooting section
Here's a direct link:https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-27890
For firmware earlier than 1.2.1 the browser was an issue: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-27886

  • Firmware upgrade times out (BEFW11S4 v4)

Hi, my firmware upgrade times out everytime and i've read that the only way to get past this is by flash-upgrading the router through this web address ftp.linksys.com/pub/network but the link doesn't work for me and says '550 failed to change directory'. Is there another link i can try or another solution?
    Previous thread: http://forums.linksysbycisco.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Routers&thread.id=122275

    Download Firmware 314 KB...
    Download TFTP Utility...
After downloading the Firmware rename the file(like - befw11s4)...
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Double click the TFTP.exe file and click run.
For Server- Enter the IP Address of the router that you assigned.  By default, the router is 192.168.1.1...
For Password- Enter the password you assigned the router. By default, the router’s password is “admin”.
For File- Click the triple “…” button and browse for the .bin firmware file...
Click Upgrade button to start upgrading.  A progress bar should show up to show the progress.
Once the Upgrade is done press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

  • SCCM 2012 updates on the console are grey out

    Hi everyone,
I removed and reconfigure my SCCM 2012 sp1 software update point and now all of the update packages on sccm console grey out.  How do I delete those grey out packages.
    Thanks

    Check this -
    http://blog.coretech.dk/kea/automatic-client-upgrade-greyed-out/
Ideally when managing Software Update through ConfigMgr it is not recommended to work from WSUS. ConfigMgr should control WSUS using the WCM component.
You need to run a sync on schedule from ConfigMgr:
    http://postimg.org/image/yde2vwdah/
If a full sync has already been completed by ConfigMgr then you will have to investigate from wsyncmgr.log,wcm.log & Wsusctrl.log to see if there has been a failure/error during this process.

  • WRVS4400N Can't Upgrade Firmware - Browse Button Greyed Out

    Hello,
I have a Cisco WRVS4400N v2 and I have downloaded the latest firmware, but when I log into the router and go to Administration > Firmware Upgrade, the Browse button is greyed out.
I have tried logging in from both the WAN and the LAN side, and the Browse button is greyed out from both sides.
I also tried enabling Remote Upgrade under the Firewall setting, but the Enable button is greyed out as well.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.
I have tried IE and Firefox and it doesn't appear to be a browser issue.
    Thanks for your help.
    Mark

    Hello Mark,
please try to use IE 8 and make sure that you are logged in as Admin in the top right corner.

  • Trying to upgrade from OS9.1 to OS10.0 on B+W G#-greyed out disc

I'm trying to get OS10 to install on a Blue and White G3 but the disc (a cd) won't recognize.
Trying to restart from the disc drive generates a disc error2 message.
Holding down the c key on reboot doens't work.
Accessing from start-up menu and the disc is recognized but is greyed out...
tried to target the machine and that didn't work either.
There's 256mb of ram in there.
4+GB of space on the drive.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Drew

    Is this your problem?
106235- Mac OS X: Disk Appears Dimmed (or "Grayed Out") in the Installer
Have you upgraded the firmware? You must do that before you attempt to run Mac OS X.
Have you tried inserting the CD and clicking on the "Install Mac OS X" Icon?
The Blue & White G3 cannot offer its disk to others over FireWire, and cannot boot from an external FireWire drive.
G5 CDs will only install on a G5.

  • Wifi Greyed Out After OS 4.0.2 Upgrade

Well two days ago I updated my IPhone 3G to OS 4.0.2 and now I wish I hadn't....
OS 4.0 was bad enough but after upgrading to 4.0.2 I have now completely lost the ability to connect to Wifi networks.
Basically the wifi option in settings is totally greyed out and it states "No Wifi".
I've tried hard reboot, double hard reboot, reseting network settings.
Wifi worked fine with OS 4.0 but has now gone grey under 4.0.2.
I've had a good look through the forums and can't find anything in relation to a fix.The OS 4.0 update has killed so many peoples wifi is there a fix available yet for this?
If not looks like tonight I will be trying to roll back to OS 3 if I can and fingers crossed this fixes it.
For those who are unaware to make the 3G phone run faster under OS 4.0 make sure you have no Safarai pages open when not using the internet and have turned off the spotlight search under things where its not needed.
    Thanks

I also have the same issue.
It happens when the phone was upgraded to 4.0.1
I sent my 3G to provider and they said that it is a hardware problem. Anyway since my iphone it is not under warranty they do not replace the phone.
Trying to fix the problem I restore the phone twice today. In both cases the wifi works perfectly only for a few moments and then it is lost permanently.
As a result I think that it is not a hardware problem but probably the update 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 cause the issue. With those updates apple tries to fix the antenna problem in iphone 4 as I can remember

  • I have apple iPhone 4S upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 and everything was working fine suddenly my Wifi was not connecting and found the wifi on/off button is greyed out and to enable it I tried all resets but still my problem have not solved, still wifi is off

I have apple iPhone 4S upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 and everything was working fine suddenly my Wifi was not connecting and found the wifi on/off button is greyed out and to enable it I tried all resets but still my problem have not solved, still wifi is off

Same here.... No fix. Replacing is the option apparently and if you're out of warranty, you're SOL. That was as per the "Genius" at Apple.

  • After upgrading to IOS 5.1.1 the Wi-Fi selection in settings greyed out and now says No Wi-Fi.  Have tried restting and restoring both from te phone and from Itunes but this does not solve the problem.

I recently upgraded my Iphone 4s to 5.1.1 and founf the Wi-Fi button in settings greyed out saying No Wi-Fi.  I have tried Reset network Settings, Rest All Settings and restore in Itunes but to no avail.  I understand this is a comon occurence but I cant find a solution to it.  Can anybody help?

    See this tip --> http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559
If this doesn't resolve it you most likely have a hardware failure. Fortunately, your phone is in warranty, so if you take it to an Apple store they will replace it.

  • "Motion 4" icon greyed out after upgrading to Yosemite - Did Yosemite break "Motion 4" in Final Cut Studio?

Against my better judgement (now that Apple has turned into Microsoft 10 years ago, breaking apps with every OS update, followed by radio silence from Apple, pretending like they didn't do anything), I just upgraded from Mountain Lion to Yosemite and noticed that my Motion 4 icon is now greyed out. Thanks Apple.
I still do the majority of my work in Final Cut Pro 7, with many, many, Motion 4 projects embedded in the timeline (so that I can change them in Motion and have them seamlessly updated in my Final Cut Pro project), including an unfinished feature length documentary on gay and lesbian history from 2000 BC until 1900 AD. Should I just throw the entire film into the rubbish bin? I would presume that Motion 5.1.2 is incompatible with Final Cut 7? So what am I supposed to do now?
1 - Downgrade to Mountain Lion (or heck, why not Snow Leopard?)?
2 - Switch to Adobe Premiere?
3 - All of the above?
    Thanks (for nothing, Apple).
MacBook Pro 15" with Retina Display
    2.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

After some peacefull time my system crashed completely on Friday!
I installed all from Scratch to make sure its not some old stuff that I carried on during migration.
It's not a problem with the motion files as I deleted all of them and XML export is still crashing!
The situation is, that after installing it all I got the same quicktime translation error again and I am quite angry about how Apple handles clients who are working on projects with the recent FCP story.
Unfortunately due to the problems in exporting XML I am not even able to switch to Adobe Premier as this is the only way to import there.
After a lot of testing I am quite sure, that this issue has to do something with an Apple Update release between June 2011 and now.
Conclusion: Final Cut Studio II is not working correctly anymore as it did before June 2011!!! Apple, Please fix this issue asap.!!!!

  • TS1559 I have two problems but since they both started at the same time I'm guessing that they are related. My WiFi on/off button is greyed out AND my iCloud Drive (under "Settings") has been "Upgrading" with that spinning download symbol for 2 wks now! N

I cant be positive but I think this started when my iPhone did an automatic software update. I couldn't get any WiFi connection because when I go to turn it back on the iPhone wont let me and Greys out my WiFi on/off button.
But also I think something happened to my iCloud connect as well because next to my iCloud Drive under "Settings" it has that spinning symbol that usually denotes waiting for something to finish downloading. But this time it never stopped! Its been spinning saying "iCloud is Upgrading" for 2 weeks now! I have tried the on/off iPhone restart or reset, and I've even put my iPhone into "Recovery Mode" as a last resort. but when iTunes was finished "Restoring" it, nothing had changed; Still Greyed out WiFi button and iCloud is still "Upgrading"! Help please!

    Hi Ichin,
I am a bit confused with your statement -
if ((p_select_list is not null) and (p_text_field is not null)) then
    return true;
elsif ((p_select_list is null) and (p_text_field is null)) then
    return true;
    else
    return false;
    end if;Here this statement -
if ((p_select_list is not null) and (p_text_field is not null)) then
return true;returning the result TRUE when both fields are not null
    And this statement -
elsif ((p_select_list is null) and (p_text_field is null)) then
return true;returning the result TRUE again when both fields are null. If you see closely basically is not validating becoz it returning true whatever the input is.
I do not know what you want to use the second statement when you have else statement at the end. It will return false if one or both fields are null unless you want to validate either text field.
    Hope this make sense.

  • "Select Users..." Button is greyed out in Remote Settings on windows 8.1 pro-pack upgrade

I recently purchased the pro-pack upgrade from the Microsoft website to take my windows 8.1 base version to pro so I could use the remote desktop connection.  I can use this under my account which has sysadmin priviliges.  I don't want to have
to have these priviliges to use RDC - so I went to the System Properties -> Remote tab to add specific users - and I cannot - the box to do so is greyed out. (I apparently can't post the image until my account is verified)
It should not be greyed out in the pro-version.  After some research it turns out this is an old problem as detailed elsewhere on this forum. The issue was fixed for the windows 8 pro-pack upgrade in July 2013.  I have currently spent 7 hours-ish
online and phone with Microsoft trying to explain the issue and point out the fixes suggested, which is like banging my head against a brickwall, and now they want to charge me a support contract for fixing the issue.  Hence can anyone shed further light
on this issue before I have to submit to this extortion. Specifically does anyone know whether the fix (KB2855336) was applied to windows 8.1 ? I have explicitly tried to apply this fix to my system but the standalone installer told me that it was not
applicable to my system, presumably on the basis my system is 8.1

You could also just add the users you want to the Remote Desktop Users group. Right click the Start Button, click Computer Management, expand System ToolsàLocal
Users and GroupsàGroups, right click Remote Desktop Users, click the Add button,
type in the user name you want to give access, click OKàOK, close Computer
Management. (Alternatively you could go to Local Users and GroupsàUsers, right
click the user you want to give rights to, click Properties, select Member Of, click Add, type in Remote Desktop Users, click OKàOK,
    close Computer Management.)

  • Upgraded to iOS7 - WIFI still greyed out.. Any fixes?

I previously had the problem on the previous iOS 6.1.4 or whatever the most up to date was.
I've now upgraded to iOS7, reset network settings, reinstalled the operating system, full phone resets etc.
Unfortunately I STILL have the problem that my WIFI is greyed out!
I'm running an iPhone 4S by the way.
Can't believe for one minute, that after all the problems on the previous iOS that a fix hasn't been put in place - so if anyone knows of one, i'd really appreciate it.
That android devil is becoming more angelic!
I've also had my phone just over a year, so I assume that the warranty is now expired?? I know - i've had the problems for some time and I really should have got my arse into gear and took it in for repair before now!
    Regards,
    Andrew.

    I guess I don't have to wait
    I got it fixed

  • Deploy to single managed server checked and greyed out while performing upgrade to EPM 11.1.2.4

    Hi Gurus,
We are trying to upgrade EPM from 11.1.2.2 to EPM 11.1.2.4 and have applied the maintenance release successfully.
    Issue:
When we are trying to configure EPM 11.1.2.4 and are providing the same Shared Service database details, at the summary screen, we are not able to uncheck the option "Deploy to Single Managed server" which is checked and is greyed out.
    We have tried the following:
    1. We updated the HSS_COMPONENT_PROPERTY_VALUE table  and updated the PROPERTY_NAME "isCompact" to false.
    2. Modified the config.xml file located at EPMSystem/config and epmsystem1/config to remove the property for compactState.
We are still having the issue where we are not able to uncheck the option for Compact Deployment. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

As it is a maintenance release and it deployed as a single managed server then you will not be able to change the deployment type when applying the maintenance release.
There is a procedure to change a deployment type from compact to single managed server that I created as an internal document.
you may want to give it a go but you would need to test this first as this was an in house test that I carried out.
Hyperion Planning - Version 11.1.2.2.300 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
    Goal
    The scenario:
EPM system 11.1.2.3 was configured and deployed as a single managed server compact deployment so that only one JVM was used for all products EPMServer0.
Later on, due to performance issues, the decision was made to go for using a JVM for each product and get rid of the compact deployment.
The administrator went ahead and redeployed the application servers individually into their own JVM.
However everytime the webserver is reconfigured, the weblogicCluster entry in the OHS file mod_wl_ohs has 2 servers, one for EPMSserver running on port 9000 and another server running on the product default port (as if it was being load balanced)
    The aim:
It is clear that initial compact deployment has not been cleared from the EPM environment and the aim in this exercise is to clear the registry and the file system so that the compact deployment is removed fromthe EPMenvironment and we are left with the desired configuration Single JVM deployment for earch web application.
    Solution
    Caution:
Make sure that you take a backup of the following:
    - TheFoundation Services database schema backup
    - Take a backup of the following folders:
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\fmwconfig\servers
    Disclaimer:
This was tested in House and it worked for this specific environment and it may not work for your environment. So the suggestion is to test first in a development environment and make sure that you take the appropriate backups in case it does not go according to plan.
    Use at your own discretion.
    Procedure:
1- Run the epmsys_registry to generate the Registry report
2- Search through the report for the word applicationServerDeployment with a corresponding value of configured and take the ObjectID number down for any entry of applicationServerDeployment that has a value of Configured
    i.e:
    Instance Tasks Configuration (INSTANCE_TASKS_CONFIGURATION)
    Object ID:   e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7adf
3- use the object ID of each entry you have taken down throughout the Registry HTML Report to manually set it back to Pending using the following procedure:
Start a command prompt and set the working directory to
                     \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin
                    run the command:
                     epmsys_registry.bat updateproperty #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7adf/@applicationServerDeployment=Pending
Repeat this command for each ObjectID that has its applicationServerDeployment
                     property set to Configured
4- rerun the epmsys_registry.bat to generate the Registry HTML report and search for applicationServerDeployment in the newly generated report to make sure that they are all set to Pending and there none missed (very Important).
5- Search the registry HTML report this time for EPMServer0 which is the default serverName given to the single managed server deployment (there will be multiple entries)
Take note of the first ObjectID entry in the section header: for example
    WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (WORKSPACE_WEBAPP)
    Object ID:   e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    - Start a command prompt and set the working directory to
                     \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin
    - run the command:
                     epmsys_registry.bat view #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
-Note the Parents ID in the output:
    For example:
    Parent 1
    NAME -  WORKSPACE_LWA
    ID -  e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
    TYPE -  LOGICAL_WEB_APP
    Parent 2
    NAME -  HOST:BACHVMPS3TR
    ID -  e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7ffe
    TYPE -  HOST
    - Note the single child ID:
    For Example:
    Child 1
    NAME -  WebLogic 10
    ID -  e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7fd6
    TYPE -  APP_SERVER
Now run the following command to remove the Link between Parent and child:
    epmsys_registry removelink #parentObjectID #childObjectID
In this example that would translate to:
To remove the single child1 link to the WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (#e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 ):
    epmsys_registry removelink #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7fd6
And do the following To remove the link between WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (#e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 ) and Parent1 and Parent2:
    epmsys_registry removelink #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
    #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    epmsys_registry removelink #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7ffe
    #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    - Now that the link has been removed, delete the WORKSPACE_WEBAPP component using its ObjectID :
    epmsys_registry deletecomponent #parentObjectID
    In this example:
    epmsys_registry deletecomponent #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    - Delete also the Parent representing the WORKSPACE_LWA
    epmsys_registry deletecomponent #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
Note:So we have now deleted the WEBAPP and LWA for workspace.
6- Repeat steps in section No 5 for every WEBAPP with EPMServer0
7- Start the Weblogic admin console and login
Then go to the left panel and Expand Environment -> Server
Click on Lock & Edit -> Select EPMServer0 -> click on Delete and confirm
    Activate Changes and Log off
8- Stop the weblogic admin console server
9- Go to the following location and delete the folder EPMServer0:
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers
Delete also EPMServer0 from the following location:
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\fmwconfig\servers
10- Start a command prompt and delete the Windows service that was created for EPMServer0 (if using Microsoft Windows Operating System):
Right click on the service 'OracleHyperion EPM Server - Java Web Application (epmssystem1)' and get its service name i.e: HyS9EPMServer_FOUNDATION1
Run the following command: sc delete HyS9EPMServer_FOUNDATION1
11- Launch the EPMSystem configurator and redeploy the web application server to their own JVM
12- Go to the following location \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component and rename the file mod_wl_ohs.conf to mod_wl_ohs.conf.old.
13- Copy the unconfigured mod_wl_ohs.conf file from the location C:\Oracle\Middleware\ohs\ohs\conf to the location \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component
14- Run the EPM System Configurator again and configure the WebServer to reconfigure the OHS configuration file mod_wl_ohs.conf.
Once done then open the mod_wl_ohs.conf file and make sure that there are no servers configured with Port 9000.
15- Start the services and test the workspace

  • Trying to upgrade software for my iphone 4 and it is greyed out

i have an iphone 4 and have not been able to upgrade my software to either version 6 or 7.  I am still runing version 5.  When i go to sofware update to upgrade my software, my "download and install" is greyed out and does not allow me to update.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

The instructions are in that link. Just follow them VERY CAREFULLY. Especially the part about:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes. [but DON'T connect it to the iPhone yet]
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see the iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
