SPA8000 Problem with outgoing calls from trunk

Hi all,
I have SPA8000 with the latest firmware 6.1.12.
Tried the first time to configure the trunk groups. With incoming calls it caused no problems. But with the outgoing calls cannot solve the problem:
When dialing, the SPA8000 try found number to itself.

I even sent an email to Nokia and I got the weirdest reply ever! They were telling me to check if my sim was inserted correctly I was like whaaaat? And I did mention to them that I can receive calls and send/recieve SMS! I seriously don't know what made them suggest that thing

Hi, I own the E7 for the last 5 months or so, but since 1 month after purchase, my phone's outgoing calls switched off completely and even after the normal tries of restarting the phone etc. it didn't turn on again. It does not go through at all and says no answer. However, I could send sms, receive calls and also access the internet. I checked with vodafone and they confirmed that there was no problem from their side and all bills payments were received by them on time.
So I decided to replace the SIM with my friend's SIM and use the phone. Surprisingly, the outgoing calls were on. After that I again put my old SIM back into the phone and the outgoing calls started working fine. The problem now is that this turning off of the outgoing calls is happening too frequently.
I asked Nokia care to look into this and they did nothing but reloaded the software, but this was of no avail. Couple of days back, I got the phone upgraded to Symbian anna. However this problem is still not solved and is frequent as before.
Can anyone help me understand what the real problem might be? And what is the right solution?

sometimes, E7 does not like old sim cards or sim cards with specific configuration, or cards with some minor scratches from frequently changing phones.
try changing the sim card.
there could also be a mechanical problem in the sim slot which can and will be overlooked by our dear nokia care liners.

Problems with outgoing calls after update

I have an iPhone 5. Since I've updated it to iOS8, I can't make outgoing calls in any way, shape, or form. If I dial the number and press the call button, nothing happens. If I click on the contact from my call log, nothing happens either. Someone help me please!!

Problem with function call from sql when using distinct

I have the following problem.
SELECT DISTINCT colA from tabA where my_function(colB) = 'TRUE'
This statement will return a handfull of results from a table with 70k + records. The function takes about 0.5 secs to execute.
How do i force the optimizer to do the select distinct first then execute the function on the results rather than execute the function for every single line first?

Problem with f95 called from make inference rule

I am porting an existing FORTRAN application to a Sun Solaris machine. The application is built with a moderately large make file and the source files span multiple directories (basically grouped by functionality). All foo.f, foo.o and foo.lst files are referenced by their absolute path names within the make file. The Sun Studio 12.3 FORTRAN compiler successfully finds the /home/uid/ ... /foo.f files from all the source directories as input and writes foo.lst files to the same directory as was specified for the matching foo.f file. However, foo.o object files are written to the current working directory from where the make was executed and not to the same directory as the corresponding foo.f file.
Using a different make does not change the outcome.
Changing compilers (with no other change to the make) restores the proper functionality for writing output files to the same directory as was specified by the corresponding *.f locations.
Have I found a bug or am I just making a newbie's mistake ?

Sorry, I missed that info. I can reproduce the problem when combining -Xlist with -c option only.
Look like we have a bug with the new driver when combining the two output options and producing the two output files in the same compilation.
In this case, the -Xlisto is still accepted and produces the output .lst file at the specified location but the -o option for the ,o file is completely ignored. Is that what you ran into ?
Since the -Xlist option is not needed to build the application, you can work around the problem by removing the -Xlist option to build the app and use the -Xlist option only when you need to look at the .lst file.

Strange problem with procedure calling from Java!!!

I am using Oracle 8.1.7 Database, Oracle 8i Application server and WInNT platform.
I am facing a strange problem while inserting a String from Java to Oracle database through Procedure. When i am passing the String containing single quotes(e.g "test' and ' and ' end") and without including any escape charactes for the single quotes I am passing the String by the setString() method then the procedure is inserting the single quotes without any problem.
Of course when I am independently executing the procedure thru backend and passing the same String containing single quotes then the error message comes as " quoted string not properly terminated" which is justified,
I have even printed the String in a file through sql on the runtime of the procedure when it is called by Java and then also the String contatins single quotes that is passed through java without any escape characters. This means that procedure is inserting the String into the column without any hassles!!!!!
Can anyone tell me what may be the reason for the peculiar behaviour of Database?

in order to know which procedure is getting first i added a dbms statement in both the functions and called the function from the main block.

Today I observed one weird thing, I am not able to make any outgoing call from my Nokia C7 with Vodafone Sim inside it. After sometime I put some other card and It started working fine. I thought the problem is with Sim hence I put my Vodafone Sim in other phone and It also worked fine.
Whenever I am trying to make call from Nokia C7 with old Vodafone Sim it gives error "NO ANSWER".
But I dont understand that why Nokia C7 is not working with Vodafone Sim which was inside it since I purchased the phone.
Please help as Vodafone customer care has nothing to do as Sim is working fine with other phones.

Problems with 'Order Prints' from Aperture 2.1.3 Mystery borders

*Some background:*
I've been using Aperture for about 3 months now, importing most of my iPhoto library into the program. I have only recently started shooting in RAW format, most of my photos image files are in JPG format. In the past, I've had no problems with obtaining prints from within iPhoto or to a limited extent Aperture. So, far as I know my program is up-to-date. I have 2 plugins installed: Aperture2twitter and *flickr export Lite* both of which work acceptably.
*The problem:* I ordered 317 4×6 prints from my aperture library.
Every photo has a 1/4″ border on both sides of the image, i.e. the printed image is only 4×5 1/2″. I have never ordered this quantity before, but I don’t believe that was the problem, it appears that the processing machine was misaligned and no one reviewed the prints prior to shipping.
I tried again, on 4 different images ... all JPG files with 3 out of 4 were OK, but one exhibited the "border" issue.
I haven't a clue what is going on here. Apple implied +(via email)+ that I would have to individually crop every photo to ensure proper aspect ratio. This makes no sense to me at all, as I have never had this kinda problem before.
Could the plugin(s) be interfering with the s/w? Is there a trick to having photos printed from within Aperture that was not present in iPhoto?
Any thoughts on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that I've solved this problem, with the help of the folks at Apple who handle Aperture tech support using the Aperture support ID that came with the product.
So the short answer is: Aperture print services REALLY DO REQUIRE the image to be cropped (constrained as they say) prior to the data being sent to Apple Print services.

The process as described is cumbersome, but the support tech pointed out that in Aperture, crops are 'non-destrutive' and can be undone simply by removing the check mark on the Adjustments tab of the image you crop. *This means that you do not have to make a duplicate image for cropping.*
So, here is the process that I arrived at to ensure that my "order prints" job turned out:
1. create an album of all the photos you want to submit for printing.
2. for each image call up the Crop HUD by pressing 'c' on the keyboard.
3.select the aspect ratio that you want for your photo. Make sure that it does NOT SAY Master Aspect Ratio, or Main Display Aspect Ratio.
4. Crop the photo
on the adjustments tab you can see the X and Y data and Height / Width information which can be undone.
5. Submit your print request to Apple for all the cropped photos.
When the prints arrive, you can compare the prints with the submitted photos. They should all be good. You can then delete the album (since it really is not a physical thing) or keep it for reference.
It all seemed a bit arcane to me, as I never had to worry about this in iPhoto. It must be that iPhoto sends different data than Aperture. I have just received 200 + prints back from Apple Print Services with about 98% success rate. I just have to adjust my thinking and my process when dealing with Aperture.

Problem with date format from Oracle DB

I am facing a problem with date fields from Oracle DB sources. The date format of the field in DB table is 'Date base type is DATE and DDIC type is DATS'.
I mapped the date fields to Date characters in BI. Now the data that comes to PSA is in weird format. It shows like -0.PR.09-A
I have changing the field settings in DataSource to internal and external and also i have tried mapping these date fields to text fields with out luck. All delivers the same format.
I have also tried using conversion routines like, CONVERSION_EXIT_IDATE_INPUT to change format. It also delivers me the same old result.
If anybody of you have any suggestions or if anybody have you experienced such probelms, Please share your experience with me.

The issue again in detail
I am facing an issue with date fields from oracle data. The data that is sent from Oracle is in the format is -0.AR.04-M. I am able to convert this date in BI with conversion routine in BI into format 04-MAR-0.
The problem is, I am getting data of length 10 (Output format) in the format -0.AR.04-M where the month is not in numericals. Since it is in text it is taking one character spacing more.
I have tried in different ways to convert and increased the length in BI, the result is same. I am wondering if we can change the date format in database.
I am in puzzle with the this date format. I have checked other Oracle DB connections data for date fields in BI, they get data in the format 20.081.031 which will allow to convert this in BI. Only from the system i am trying creating a problem.

I have a problem with color prints from photoshop elements 12. The pictures are too light and with strange colors. I have a Canon pixma mg615I0 printer and use mac os X yosemite. The pictures are taken with a coanon eos 550d in the color space sRGB. I have followed adobes recommendations and have tried both letting the printer respektive photoshop manage the colors. But nothing works. I see that there are different opinions about which is best to do so I tried both. I have the latest printer driver installed. Can anyone help me with this?

Do the following:
Print a test page from the printer. Perhaps the print head needs cleaning via its maintenance facility.
Let the printer manage colors, not PSE
Calibrate the monitor
