Space available going down everyday. It should be 1gb or more but now its 80mb only.

My iPhone 5's space is going down daily. I havnt downloaded anything at all.
This happened a month back too so i restored my phone. And restore the backup too.
And at time its was more than 2gb available evem after the sync.
And in a one month time it has gone from 2gb to 70-80mb.
Whats the matter?
Is it something in iOS7 ?
My phone is fully updated.
Please help someone.
And i don't wanna restore the phone again.

Hey I bought Sims 3 a few months back when I was using OSX 10.5 and then I upgraded to Snow Leopard when it came out and now I need to reinstall the game. I have tried about 5 times and each time the install stops working (gets to copying file x of y and doesn't move past this point). Unfortunately now it's gotten to the point where I only have 2.8GB free space on my HDD. I can't find any sims or EA files on my HDD so I can't delete them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Change how it syncs by enabling Manually manage music and videos, then you can drag and drop the music that you want on your iPhone. Revert it back to test to see if that resolves the issue.

1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Ohhh!
All you have to do is to put your iPhone into DFU Mode
Just simply connect your iPhone to iTunes, hold the power button + home button for 10 seconds, later by holding the home screen button continuously (Without leaving it) until it appears to be in recovery mode in iTunes.
You now hit the restore button in iTunes. It will download the latest version of iTunes, which might take a while.
After that, it will install the iOS (51.1) which might take 7-10 min. And you're good to go!

Why does my available hard drive space keep going down?

I am running an iMac with Snow Leopard and Lightroom 3; both the OS and program are installed on a 120GB SSD (I know the setup is a bit dated but bare with me)...
I edit about 4-10GB of RAW files every week, which are stored on a separate 2TB HDD, yet somehow, every week I keep seeing less and less available space on my main SSD drive, now down to only 6GB and I don't have much installed on that drive.
Is there a setting or something I can do to fix this?

The folder that contains your catalog and preview files and other relevant user files is still on your SSD. You can move that entire folder to your external hard drive. After you move it, simply open it in its new location and double-click on the catalog file to start Lightroom.

Yeah my hardrive is small so it filled up quick. I moved alot of stuff onto my ipod as I don't use it that often. I also deleted alot of music straight out of itunes. Lots of footage out of iMovie and a few pictures I had outside of iphoto. It said I deleted about 7GB so showed 7 GB available in bottom of finder. Then when I go to empty Trash with finder open I notice that the 7GB free went down to 4.5GB just from emptying trash! this is really weird and I have noticed it a few times before.
Whats going on with this?

Sounds like your Directory Structures are corrupt and it's showing incorrect information in the Volume Header.
Startup from your Install DVD/CD and Open Disk Utility from the Menu and then Run Disk First Aid on your HD.
Alternatively if you can't place your hands on your DVD then restart your Mac and hold down the Shift key until the login screen appears with the words 'Safe Boot'
This runs the File System Check Routines which Disk First Aid runs basically.
If however you notice that the amount of space is still showing the incorrect amount then Find your CD/DVD and run Disk First aid from there.

Hard Disk space slowly going down since I installed Lion?

Wonder if you can help. I have recently installed Lion and since I have noticed that space on my Hard Drive has gradually been deminishing (in terms of a few megabytes). I know this is not a Time Machine snapshot thing as I have that turned off through the time machine preference.
Could you possbly tell me what else could be doing this?
I thought it may be Safari cacheing files to save contents of site but I would expect this to be deleted when i next quite Safari. It does seam to go down when i use Safari but this maybe a coincidence.
I also believe I have auto save and versions disabled as I have turned off 'Prevent Accidental changes in Applications that support Auto Save (also found in the Time Machine preference.
For your info I have a 2010 Macbook Pro 2.53 GHz and 4MB of Memory and 165GB of HD space (deminishing).
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know for sure this is what you are seeing but are you indexing more documents in Spotlight? Check it out in System Prefs. Spotlight maintains index files that could have grown because of this. Also, remote volumes get indexed as well and they may being stored locally. Spotlight/Time machine indexing, even just of file modification is used by other apps as well -- such as virus protection.
They used to reside on the remote volume but I think this changed back in Snow Leopard??? It could also be that versioning is never really totally off.
Time machine, of course, stores backups on the volume you designate but this should not be the same drive where the items you are backing reside as, of course, a failure of that drive would cause you to lose the originals and backups.
I hope some of this at least gives some ideas about where to check further.

I upgraded to snow leopard but now I have only 1 GB of storage space?

It seems like all my files/apps are duplicated or something. I found all my old files, but do I really have to load all my music back in to itunes? Same thing with my photos, I have them all but they aren't showing up into iphoto.

How did you do the upgrade?
If you just installed Snow Leopard, it deletes the previous version of OSX, and installs Snow Leopard, without disturbing anything else.
If that's not what you did, please explain just what you did.

Until very recently I used to be able to open multiple browsing windows in Firefox, but now I can only open one window & if I close down the session & try to reopen Firefox it doesn't open

I can restart Firefox only after rebooting my laptop.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). 
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]] 
 
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
