Space between entrys on blog page?

I have few entries on my blog page. All works great except I want some space between entries. Please check this link so you can see what I'm looking after.

How do I create equal space between multiple tabs in Pages?

I am trying to create four center tabs with equal space between each but can not fiqure out how to achieve this. I owuld like to avoid using tables becuase I am trying to make sure the document is fully cross-paltform (Word, Pages, Open Office, etc.). Any ideas?

The Text Inspector, "Tabs" tab has a box where you create tab stops. Click the plus sign to add a stop. When you are done, make a Paragraph Style to preserve the settings. As for regular spacing, you may have to use some arithmetic to achieve that.
These settings should be respected by any normal word processor.

Space between fields in a page

Hi,
I have around 5 fields in a custom page one below the other. But i am unable to figure out how to create space between those fields vertically?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Blank space between Detail section and Page Footer - How to remove it ?

below is the problem.
We make report as followspage header Section details
Employee Information
Report Footer
Page Footer
Other Information
whenever we run this crystal report it leaves space in between after employee information (Detail Section) and before Page Footer.We don't know its a problem of footer or any other else.
When i preview and print out the reports
it showing Detail section 10 Rows (which satisfying condition) and then Blank space and then at the bottom of page shows Page Footer (which contain 2 subreports).
Let me know if you need aditional information on this.
pls provide suggestions.

Try with this
1. Suppress any unused sections in both sureports and in the mainreport.
2. Check all the fields fits the sections. Select all the fields in the section and give align top and make all the fields of same height and make it fit to the section.

Space between containers in WPC

Hi again,
In WPC edit page, the containers have a little space between them, in preview page mode.
How can I control this space (distance) between the containers?
I need to let 2 containers without space between them.

You can try to define your own layout set for the WPC Page as described in https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/1083635f-e977-2a10-15ac-b0072abf941b
Creating a layout without margin, padding etc should solve your problem, but did not try it yet.

Irregular spacing between entries on main page (BLOG.html)

Hi--
Why does the spacing between entries on the main BLOG page (blog.html) differ according to how long the entry is?
If the 'header sections' are the same size, why is their appearance on the main blog 'index page' different sizes?
I.e., if the contents of an entry exceed the template size, there is excessive blank space below that entry's header and the previous entry(below)--even if the 'header sections' are the same size.
Is anyone from Apple on these forums???

At last...something I know an answer to...
when you are in iweb and have the blog main page open click on inspector and the the RSS tab.
Select blog from the blog / podcast options and then the number of excerpts to show option is there, the excerpt length option is another great feature.

How to remove space between pages in Oracle Reports 6i?

Hi,
I have customized one oracle report (rdf). Earlier, the standard report was showing the ouput in pages i.e. there exists space beteen the pages. But I want my custom report in such a way that it should show me the result in one page i.e. there should be no space between the pages as user wants to spool the output into excel sheet (xls format) after getting the result output obtained from my custom report. Presently, when i spool the data into excel sheet, there is still the space exists between the pages like...few records will come then white space...then records.
How can I remove this space, so that user can easily spool the data into excel without existence of white space.
Any sort of help on this will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
My report is running on Unix. When I checked the output file in unix where it is getting generated, i saw ^L characters wherever the space appears when i see the output in apps (notepad) , like after every page where I am able to see the space in my output, there ^L is appearing in output file in unix, so how can I avoid this.
I tried to adjust the frames and repeatinf frames also, even i tried changing the properties also of main region (body), but nothing is working for me and still the same issue occurs. I am not aware of this. Please suggest me.

How do I hide the grey space between pages in a document?

I am still trying to learn Pages after using MS Word for many years and I am unable to find how to eliminate the space between pages in a document on screen. I should add that after reading a lot of reviews re: versions of Pages I ordered a CD of iWorks 09 as the concensus seemed to be that the earlier versions were much better than the most recent. Anyway, I would like to just see the text and nothing else as though it is just one very long page! How can I do that without updating to the current version of Pages?
I have a MB Pro running iWork 09 version 4.3 on Yosemite (up-to-date).

I guess i didn't explain myself well...I do not want to eliminate pages, I merely did not want to have all that wasted space (margins/footnotes/headers/grey) between the text I have on each page. It is merely for what I see on the screen - not elimination of the formatting/paging etc..
I have about a 15-20 page 'cheat sheet' that I have open frequently on the far right of my screen as I am working at my laptop which I refer to intermittently. I need to scroll thru pages to find what I am looking for and I just wanted to reclaim some real estate, so to speak. I don't want to change anything other than what I see on the screen - if I choose to print all or part of my 'cheat sheet' the format doesn't change and I can print whatever individual pages necessary! Actually I think there may still be a line showing a page break but no real 'space' between the pages.
Did this explanation help to further delineate what I am trying to do? and is it possible?

Pass parameters that contain spaces between web pages

I have a .jsp . Inside it, I only need to call a link with a parameter.
The problem is that the parameter contains spaces:
name="ALARM LEVELS"
If I write:
<a href=modif_list.jsp?name=<%=paramName%>>See list</a></p>The parameter received in modif_list is "ALARM" and not "ALARM LEVELS"!!!
How can I pass parameters that contain spaces between web pages?

The think is that the parameter is a label and obviously I don't know the value before hand.
In fact, I am using
<a href=modif_list.jsp?table=<%=paramName%>&label=<%=label%>
<%=tableName%></a></p>.....So I can't help it if the label contains spaces.
Now if there is no solution, I suppose I can always replace the space by "_" and when I collect the parameter, I replace the "_" by a space!

I only used Photoshop for the layout. Then I created web-safe images for everything that I used for Dreamweaver. I uploaded the images to the internet and then image sourced them into the code so that they will be viewed properly in the correct circumstances. I haven't used HTML since about 2004 and I wasn't very good then. I've just been thrown back into it and I'm pretty much learning as I go. This is my second attempt because I wanted to make the newsletter more eye-catching. My first one is very basic and without a background image at all and that looks fine in pretty much all email clients. I tested it with Litmus. All except for Windows Live Mail, where the images didn't act as links but as static images. It works fine with the others I tested manually. Those being Gmail, Yahoo and AOL. Let's pretend that you told us which version of Pages you are talking about, and that you are using Pages 5:
click in the text > Format > Spacing > click on triangle to expand options > change Before/After

Space Between Pages

Hello,
I am new to InDesign and am using CS6 version with Windows 7 Pro.
I don't know what did I do. I was working on a document with 12 pages and suddenly, there are spaces between pages. I must have accidently pressed a key on my keyboard, or something. I don't prefer to have any space between pages. Could someone please let me know how do I get rid of these spaces?
Any suggestions/comments are much appreciated.

Firefox web pages often print with many extra spaces between letters, making the printout illegible and useless..

When I try to print e-mails in Thunderbird and web pages in Firefox, the individual letters usually print (either to my laser printer or to Acrobat Distiller) with many spaces between each letter, making the printout nearly illegible and useless. Any thoughts? And settings that would correct this? (I never had this problem before the last few months, using earlier versions of Firefox and Thunderbird.

about:config has many listings for each of my printers, but instead of starting with "print.print_printer" [naming the printer], most listings that name a printer start with "print_printer" or simply printer_[printer name]. I don't want to reset all the listings, not knowing beforehand if that would be advisable.

Removing spaces between footnotes in Pages

New to Pages, so this may just be a setting I've missed. I've got pages with several footnotes and the spaces between the footnotes, though nice, are not considered to be the "proper" format. How do I remove this space so they're more blocks of text? I'd prefer a solution that still allows the footnotes to be "separate" so that footnotes can move with repagination.
