Space between Views

Hi All,
We have requirement that we have one report and it has some different pivot tables which are all having same number of cloumns. When we display this on Dashboard between tow pivot views it is showing huge space, we want to reduce that space between views. For this do we need to change any configuration/ section changes, please let me know. '
Thanks in advance.

I'm not clear with your question..specific to where you want to eliminate.
Also check this post and my comments, that may help you.

  • Need to eliminate Space between two Pivot table view  in OBIEE 11g

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to eliminate space between two pivot table views. In a single report I have two Pivot table with two different column, I placed both of them one after another, but I need to eliminate the space between two pivot table views as if it should show as a single pivot table in OBIEE 11g.
    Could anyone please let me know how I can do this in OBIEE 11g?
    Thanks in Advance
    Anirban Mitra

    If I create narrative view it will be another view. And if I put that in between that two pivot view, it will show the space. I need to remove space between two pivot table within a single report so that it can appear as a single pivot view.
    Thanks

  • When viewing email in my webmail inbox there are added spaces between paragraphs, these are not there in Internet Explorer and Chrome

    I use GoDaddy's webmail service, when I open an email that has several paragraphs the spaces between them are double, sometimes triple, spaced; this is apparent in Internet Explorer and Chrome

  • How do I remove a space between tables?

    In dreamweaver there appears to be no space and the page looks fine, however when I go into
    internet explorer there is a gap between the tables.  I want my image to be
    at the bottom of my table, resting on the footer.
    I have tried for hours to resolve this and I can't, there is still a space between my HR helpline image and my footer.
    I have set all the borders and cell spacing to 0 but nothing seems to work.
    I have not yet got my web site on line so can't tell you what the URL is, but when I go and view source from the internet explorer this is the code:
    <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> </td>
        <td width="430" height="200" align="center" valign="bottom" bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><!-- InstanceBeginEditable name="EditRegion2" -->
        <p><img src="../frustrated helpline.jpg" alt="HR helpline" width="331" height="282" border="0" longdesc="http://HR telephone helpline" /><!-- InstanceEndEditable --></td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    <table width="900" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
      <tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
        <td valign="top"><img src="images/Core HR Web footer 900.jpg" width="900" height="81" alt="london surrey berkshire kingston" longdesc="http://footer" /></td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    Thanks if anyone can help, I am really new to this.

  • Spaces between images on header - please help!

    I’m having an issue with a layout that I can’t seem to figure out. Here’s the website where the layout looks fine: www.sincityknitshop.com   All I did was add an additional navigation link (testimonials) and it started leaving a space between each image on the header ONLY when I added the rollover navigation buttons.  It was fine if I just inserted the navigation buttons as an image and not a rollover.    http://www.sincityknitshop.com/test2.htm  If I just insert the “off” button as a regular image (no rollover) it looks fine: http://www.sincityknitshop.com/test3.htm  In case it looks fine on your pc, here is a snippet image: http://www.sincityknitshop.com/images/mess.jpg   Does anyone know why it’s doing this??? I’m not doing anything different than what I did on the original layout that is now on her website www.sincityknitshop.com that looks fine.   What's weird is it looks fine on my ipad.   Thanks!!  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I think you would be so much better off using CSS styled text links for your rollover menus.  Plus, you could get rid of that awful MM rollover code which clearly isn't working correctly when you mouse over test2.
    I agree with that 100%. In my experience, I've twice been forced to use images in place of text for navigation menus, simply to keep the original design of the site intact. I made my own way around it, and it was "bulky" from a CSS standpoint, but it did have the advantage of the menu still looking like text to search engine crawlers.
    First thing I did was apply a text-indent property of -10000px to my navigation menu list items (#navmenu ul li a{ text-indent:-10000px;}). This keeps the text links off the page when viewed in a browser. Next, I applied a different ID to each <li> in my nav menu list, and applied a normal state (#navmenu ul li a#home) and a hover state (#navmenu ul li a#home:hover) using the image link as a background image with an "on" and an "off" version of each image for each state. Then I built my navigation menu in a <ul> just as I normally would with the proper ID for each <a> list item. It reads just like a regular text menu in the HTML. If you have a lot of items in your menu it can get a little long in the CSS, but it works without "that awful MM rollover code" as Nancy so accurately puts it.

  • D3lphin / konqueror - too much free space between single files

    Hi there,
    I'm using Kdemod 3.5.9. The problem I experience is, that both d3lphin and konqueror create "gaps" between files. Its hard to explain, so I post a picture.
    The picture shows my wallpaper collection - but the problem is not bound to images. It does also occur with dirs, videos, sound-files...
    By changing the font and grid-size I was able to change the general free space between files, but the "extra space" between some files remains.
    Any Idea?
    Greetings, yodo

    @funkyou At first thanks for your work because after recognizing that you have things as at example kdmtheme included i give kdemod a try and it works nice. Instead of your theme looks very cool i stay as before with qtcurve ... i hope this is not a problem for you. [If you want you can do a +1kdemod/-1kde in your survey ]
    funkyou wrote:It works fine for me, but i belive that this has something to do with DPI settings in Xorg...
    I have exact the same settings as you with the only exception that Sub-Pixel-Hinting is on but i have the same effect as yodo. I fear that if dpi (or/and fonts) could be a problem in this case than the content of "/etc/fonts/conf.avail" could be important too. But i don't realy think that this is the problem because the icons on the desktop don't have this problem.
    My workaround is stepping to the Tree View (i hope this is the correct translation of "Mehrspaltige Ansicht") and i forgot it because i like this more and more.
    @yodo Very nice wallpapers and thanks for animating me to search InterfaceLIFT.

  • Change displayed text in textfield an space between elements

    Hey people,
    a have a Form based on a View. i want to change the spaces between some rows or elements (to group some elements) and don't know how.
    For example:
    Name Surname
    Birthday
    Phone Mobil
    City
    Between Birthday and Phone, and Phone and City now should be more space.
    I made it now like that:
    Birthday: Display --> rowspan --> 2
    and put an Element just shown as Text empty without label below "Birthday". But i don't like that because i need so much empty elements. Is there another possibility to change the style?
    I want to change the size from the displayed text in the textfields too, or make it bold maybe.
    I hope, i could make it comprehensible to you, if not ... just ask
    Greetings, Jana

    hey ageller,
    thank you very very much. that is exactly what i'm searched for ;-)
    can you tell me, if this doesn't work in firefox or mayby why? in IE 7 all works fine, but Firefox 2.0.0.6 doesn't show any changes.
    I cleared the cache but still no changes.
    Got the same problem with the width of my columns. In IE, Content is shown in one row and Firefox there is linebreak.
    Do you (or anybody else) know, how i can fix this??
    Thank you so far ....

  • How to reduce space between lines in Thunderbird

    newest TB update changed the look of TB with too much space between lines everywhere; would like to change back so to have more lines visible and not as spaced out in height, so I can see more folders and emails at once

    Interesting....as there hasn't been any changes in what you describe.
    Did you use a theme addon or the default theme?
    Check that no addons are interfering with the view.
    so restart in Thunderbird Safe mode.
    Help > Restart with addons disabled.
    If this improves what you are seeing then one of your addons is causing it.
    Process of elimination, disabling one a ta time to see which one it is. Maybe an addon needs to be updated.
    If you changed your screen resolution then it would effect the size of icons on desktop, all windows you open etc. Less dpi size increases the display items.

  • Batch Script using System Varriable for Hostname and FQDN results in large space between

    I have a batch script running on Windows 7 that I've created to help a physical computer, connect to his virtual cousin.  Problem is when I try to make
    it use the FQDN (required by the View Client) it puts a large space between the hostname and the domain.
    Result
    ECHO Connecting View Client to PREFIX-SERIAL .domain.comOR"C:\Program Files\VmWare\View.exe" -Args -serverURL PREFIX-SERIAL       .domain.com
    Our computers are named a combination of a prefix and the serial number.  Our virtual computer names are the same, but with a different prefix.  So my attempt was to make a connection
    script, using the computer serial number.  My Process:
    Setting %serial% variable.
    for /F "skip=1 tokens=*" %%b in ('wmic bios get serialnumber') do if not defined serial set serial=%%b
    Set %hostname% variable.
    set hostname=PREFIX-%serial%
    Installation command line
    "C:\Program Files\VmWare\View.exe" -Args -serverURL %hostname%.domain.com
    That results in the output at the beginning of my post.
    I've also tried
    %hostname%.%userdomain%.com
    PREFIX-%serial%.%userdomain%.com
    PREFIX-%serial%.domain.com
    SET FQDN=.domain.com
    PREFIX-%serial%%FQDN%
    %hostname%%FQDN%
    I also tried carets and quotes on set commands without any improvement.
    I'm sure I'm missing something simple here.  Any advise?
    There's no place like 127.0.0.1

    Will something like this get you what you are looking for?
    (gwmi win32_bios).SerialNumber+(gwmi WIN32_ComputerSystem).Domain
    Or
    $hostname=(gwmi win32_bios).SerialNumber+"."+(gwmi WIN32_ComputerSystem).Domain
    Sorry just realized your looking to do this in a Batch file...so maybe something like this
    @echo off
    for /F "skip=1 delims=" %%j in ('powershell "[System.Net.Dns]::GetHostByName((hostname)).HostName"') do (
    set Host=%%j
    goto :DONE
    :DONE
    echo %HOST%

    Why there is spaces between Web App module listings on a web page?
    Here is the web page:

    And here is the CSS code:
    http://www.mazine.com/test/css/tablestyle.css

    I only used Photoshop for the layout.  Then I created web-safe images for everything that I used for Dreamweaver.  I uploaded the images to the internet and then image sourced them into the code so that they will be viewed properly in the correct circumstances.  I haven't used HTML since about 2004 and I wasn't very good then.  I've just been thrown back into it and I'm pretty much learning as I go.  This is my second attempt because I wanted to make the newsletter more eye-catching.  My first one is very basic and without a background image at all and that looks fine in pretty much all email clients.  I tested it with Litmus.  All except for Windows Live Mail, where the images didn't act as links but as static images.  It works fine with the others I tested manually.  Those being Gmail, Yahoo and AOL.  I will try the display:block and get back to you.  Thanks for your suggestions.

  • How to delete several spaces between clips on timeline

    I have hundreds of clip selects in my timeline pulled on a particular track.  However, they have spaces between all of them.  How do I delete all of the spaces, so that I can view the clips back to back.  I don't want to have to click on each space & hit delete a hundred times.  In FCP you could just pull a clip to a separate track at the end & higlight the space from the beginning of the sequence to that clip + hold down the delete..  It would delete, delete, delete quickly, closing the gaps on other tracks where possible.
    How can I do that efficiently in PremPro?!
    TIA,
    Heather

  • Why are there white spaces between my images when I preview my html design on a web browser?

    I am creating an email newsletter with Dreamweaver CC and after being unable to find a way to use layers I opted to create the entire image in Photoshop and then break it into pieces to create the image links.  I'm using tables and I have the padding and everything set to "0", but when I view it in the browser there are white spaces between each image. It looks solid in Dreamweaver, but in pieces on web browsers.  I do not understand how or why this happened and I cannot figure out how to fix it.  If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.
