Space Overview on ST04

I have checked sto4 > Space>Space Overview , it show below Space overview detail.

What will happen if the Total Free size will reach 410GB ?

Hi,
This Total size: 410.16 GB is the free space calculated considering data files can grow to the maximum specified limits.
(that is MaxSize of the Datafiles)
Then Size (in ur case 246.86) refers to the total "current" size of all the database data files.
(that is datafiles, already filled)
You better to check the space from Tablespace point of view. Mainly all R/3 Data resides in PSAPSR3 tablespace
There you check; how many datafiles available and the free amount available.
and by considering the DB growth and available free space in PSAPSR3 you can get idea about the remaining space usage.
While reaching this limit, you need to add additonal data files to the identified tablespaces either on the exisiting file system or a new filesystem depending on the free space availability there.
From my experience this 410.16 GB not telling that much. better to explore from tablespace level / datafile level.

As per your guidance, I tried to check SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR job which is scheduled hourly.
It is executed successfully. But, When I checked the Job Logs , I found something wrong in this. I mention this as below:

To refresh the table space overview do :
DB02 ->Refresh->there you will find two options choose second one
And it will refresh the tablespaces.
Or you can also schedule update stats job daily to update it automatically.

Missing threads in space (overview)

If we go to the space Peoplesoft we can see several sub-spaces.
One of them is Peoplesoft OVM templates, apparently with 94 discussions in it (at least this is what we can see).
However, going to this sub-space does not return anything from "overview" tab (message "There is no recent activity") until and unless you go to the "content" tab and then you can see the discussions.
Why such a difference ? Where the discussions go or come from on "overview" tab ?

Yeah, this is what I understood as well, but I do not understand why such a difference between the two tabs.
It could be mentioned in overview tab result the time period it is taken, and for more details, then go to content tab... one could think there's nothing at all.

Hard drive space overview

Hi, I'm starting to run out of hard drive space and I would really like to figure out where it's all coming from. Beyond just ctrl clicking categories to see how big each is and adding them all up, is there a way to view like a pie chart or something showing an overview of my hard drive?

I've got a server that's just lost all it's disk space (about a 100Gb unaccounted for) on the boot drive. I just tried Disk Inventory X and it shows only about 14Gb used. Not what I was hoping for.
The cause seems to be a runaway application (Now Software's Now Up To Date Event Server), which was writing continuously until I killed it. But I can't find where it's been writing to...

DB02 - Space - overview Histoy not showing old data

We are using ECC6HPUX11Oracle 10.2.0.4 and patch level is 17. We have recenlty upg the supp pack. Our issue is DB02 is not showing last years Space history. We have other Env of SRM SCM and XI where there is no problem with the Space - history. Now the space history is showing only from jan 2009 and we want the old space history. can anyone please help us

DB02 empty space overview

Hello Experts,
We are facing issue after implementing master note for Db correction 1456402 latest version, Db02 is showing zero values.
Component level SAP-Basis 731.
Data collector not updating the data.
Searched SDN and performs all workaround but nothing works.

DB02 space overview refresh job cancelled

Dear All,
when i m trying to refresh the DB02 data from that transaction the job with name
'REFRESH SPACE STATISTIC:DEFAULT ' get created but it got cancelled with massage ABAP/4 processor: DATA_LENGTH_0 .
In ST22 we can see the following.

Hai,
SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERMONITOR need to be scheduled in all the systems in the landscape in order to collect the performace data of the system.
You can schedule the job from SM36, report RSCOLL00 schedules all of the reports that need to run for the performance monitor. RSCOLL00 uses table TCOLL to determine what to run.
This job is not cleint specific so scheduling it in 000 client is the best way. The job user should be DDIC.

ERROR CONDITION EXISTS in DB02 Space overview

Hi ,
I had installed SAP Solution Manager4.0 then applied Support packs upto SPS14.
But from DB02 space over view , i see that there is no File free space avaialble even though there is lot of space available on the disk (153GB Free disk avaialble on the same drive).The auto extent growth is on and is set to 100MB and size limit set to "no limit".
The response time is high for all Tcodes executed.
Please let me know the what could be the problem .

Unable to repair degraded Virtual disks in Storage Spaces under Hyper-V 2012 R2 Core

Hi all,
I am finding myself in the following conundrum. I have a storage pool under Hyper-V Core, with 2 2TB Seagate drives.
One of the drives completely died (wouldn't spin up, tried it in a different box, still to no avail). I sent it in to Seagate for warranty replacement, got the new drive. Installed it and went through the notions of adding it to the pool and retiring the
one that was with "Lost Communication" status.
Tried to repair the virtual disks that are showing as "Unhealthy-Detached", quickly get 100% complete, but the repair didnt work.
The storage pool is in degraded state.
Looks like metadata is corrupted.
Followed this post to upgrade Storage Spaces to latest version:

Window repaint failure after switching spaces

Hey there,
i'm having a very strange problem with Spaces on my Macbook Pro Mid 2010. Sometimes when i switch between spaces the window displayed in the space i switched to is not correclty repainted. This only happens when i use the spaces overview and choose a space in the grid. When i switch via CTRL+cursor everything works just fine.
In the attached screenshot you can see the problem i am talking about. Here i was in the space Textmate is in, switched to spaces overview and reselected the Textmate space.
Did any of you have the same problem? Any suggestions how to fix it? Or is it a hardware failure and my graphics card is messed up once again?

Humm, yeah, that might be the case! Chrome is running almost all the time, so that could be the case Chrome is causing these glitches.
I will check that out and use Firefox in the meantime. Chrome became quite buggy since the last update, it often has trouble rendering pages properly, the whole process hangs for a few seconds... so this seems quite reasonable!

Premiere vs. OS X Spaces

I have my main PP CS5.5 Workspace set up with multiple windows (to span multiple displays, although this bug exists with multiple windows on a single display as well). The workspace is great, but when used in conjunction with Spaces, PP blithely moves my 2nd window to whichever Space I switch to, so my UI is unceremoniously split between two Spaces. To get everything back in the same Space, I have to click in the 2nd window and switch back to the original space. Pain.
The main window (the one with the project path/filename in the titlebar) is not affected, but any other PP windows will all move over to the wrong space. I minimally reproduced this with an empty main window (not even Options, Timeline, or Tools--completely blank), and 2nd window with only an Options or Tools panel.
I can reproduce the problem without the 2nd display (two windows on primary display). This occurred in CS5 as well, but I didn't try to troubleshoot then.
The same problem occurs in AE.
No other app I have behaves like this with modal windows, including other CS5.5 apps (Illustrator, Ps, ID, DW, Flash Pro).
I have tried (or otherwise ruled out):
Keeping my entire UI in one window that spans my displays -- the displays are offset and have completely different geometries.
Setting Premiere Pro to always open in a specific space in the Spaces Application Assignments. This did not help.
Turfing preferences -- I also effectively did this when I reinstalled the OS on a new boot drive. No difference in either case.
The only semi-practical workaround I've found is to only switch Spaces with keyboard shortcuts. This problem only seems to occur when activating the Spaces overview (default F8).
My system is a 2010 12-core Mac Pro (10.6.8). All CS5.5 software is up to date.
Any ideas on how to fix or troubleshoot further?

Bug report submitted, but in the meantime, I came up with a more reasonable (although not simple) workaround. I wrote some AppleScript to switch to Finder if PP or AE currently have focus, before activating Spaces. Here's the code, for anyone running into this issue:
Save the following AppleScript as a .scpt (compiled script). Assumes you have F8 bound to activate Spaces:

To bind the above script to the mouse button, I went with USB Overdrive, and set up an AppleScript action for mouse button 4:
run script (POSIX file "/path/to/spaces.scpt")
NB: Spaces preference "When switching to an application, switch to a space with open windows for the application" should be turned OFF to avoid zooming to any space that happens to have an open Finder window.

DB12 , Backup Overview details are not retrieved

System o/s : AIX
Database : DB2
SAP System : ECC6. 0
Unable to find out Backup details overview through ST04/ DB12/DB13 .. can somebody help me plz if I am missing out with any parameters ..

What support package level is your system on?
If you take a backup does it show in the history file but not in db12 ?
What way or you taking the backup?
you can change the alert configuration (for you needs) in the
DB6COCKPIT (ST04): Alerts -> Alert Configuration
=> mark the related line -> Edit
This way you can be alerted if no sucessfull backup was taken in the last while (you can set the duration until an alert is created)
