SPACES: Can I have same program, different docs in different Spaces?

I'd like to have one OmniOutliner document open in Space #1, and a different OmniOutliner document open in Space #2. But I haven't yet figured out how to do this. Is there a way for me to have two different documents from the same program open in two different Spaces?

Spaces are generally designed to house a specific application in a specific space.
You can try dragging one of your documents to another space, provided that OmniOutliner hasn't been assigned to a certain space, however it is an application, not window based function.

  • How can i have same billing account with two different game center accounts

I Need two different game centeraccounts on two different devices thatshare same apple id

I looked at this post last night and assumed that the OP had decided he did not have a question; however, since you decided to post......
Mac or iDevice, is forever 'connected' with the AppleID
actually, that is not correct. It can be wiped and disassociated; it is any OS or app obtained at the app store which is tethered to the Apple ID used to obtain it, not the hardware. See the SLA.
If a device was tethered forever, it could never be re-sold - obviously.
As for the OP's question: I am not sure as I could not find any reference in the legal documents available, but I believe it is not possible - one Apple ID = one account.

    Hi Vangelis,
Building a cluster, requires some planning and understanding the concepts.
A good start would be reading some of the documents linked to in this url: http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-2969/gcbkf?a=view

  • Can I have same Itunes library in two computers?

I would like to have the same library in two computers.
If I use home share to import the whole library, Does that mean the library will disappear from the "old" computer? or
Will I be able to keep the same library in both computers?
What will happens when I add music to one of the libraries? Will they update? or Do I have to do it manually? Can playlist be imported from home share too? and can I have same playlists in the two computers?
    Thanks!

Again without firsthand experience my understanding is iTunes copies (not moves) just the media from the Home Shared drive and adds it to your other library as a new item.  It will not affect the original library.
As for syncing idevices, they are intended to sync with just the original library and only one library at a time.  Apple deliberately designed it this way, and not so you could plug them into a new computer and transfer the contents from the device to the computer (see exception below).  More information:
Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

  • Can i have same ORACLE_BASE directory location for Grid and RDBMS home ?

    Grid Version:11.2.0.3
    OS : RHEL 5.8
Can I have same ORACLE_BASE location for Grid (CRS) and RDBMS software Homes ?

The OFA guideline for ORACLE_BASE is /u01/app/<owner>.  If you are using the same owner for all software (let's call him "oracle") then a simple installation will have one base /u01/app/oracle.  This base will be shared by all installations of Grid and RDBMS software.  But, if you use two separate owners (let's call them grid and oracle) then you will have two separate ORACLE_BASE locations /u01/app/oracle and /u01/app/grid.  I always use two separate owners, but I know many people who only use the oracle account and that is fine too.
Oracle allows every ORACLE_HOME to have a unique base.  There is no requirement to install more than one ORACLE_HOME under a given ORACLE_BASE location.  This is just an extension of what I said above, that the ORACLE_HOMEs for Grid and RDBMS can be stored under separate ORACLE_BASEs.
If you are using RAC then I strongly suggest you read chapter 1 of the Oracle Real Application Clusters Installation Guide.  Read section "Overview of Oracle Base and Oracle Home Directories". The rules for ORACLE_BASE are as I noted above, but the rules for ORACLE_HOME change: the Grid ORACLE_HOME is not to be a sub-directory of the Grid ORACLE_BASE as it is when not using RAC.  So, with RAC your directory structure might look more like this:
    su -
    umask 0022
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oraInventory
    # Grid Base
    mkdir -p /u01/app/grid
    # Grid Home
    mkdir -p /u01/app/12.1.0.1/grid
    # Oracle  Base
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle
    # Oracle Home
    mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.1/db_1
    # Ownership for all of the above...
    chown grid:oinstall /u01/app/grid
    chown grid:oinstall /u01/app/oraInventory
    chown grid:oinstall /u01/app/12.1.0.1
    chown grid:oinstall /u01/app/12.1.0.1/db_1
    chown oracle:oinstall /u01/app/oracle
My examples show 12.1.0.1 but it's the same for 11.2.0.3.
There's no requirement to create the home directories prior to running the OUI.  It can create them for you.  I just shown these commands to help you understand the big picture.
The OUI will pop-up a warning if the Grid user's ORACLE_HOME is outside of his ORACLE_BASE as shown in the above mkdir commands, which is funny since it is the recommended setup in the Oracle RAC documentation.  I submitted a bug report several years ago.  To be consistent across all of my RAC and non-RAC servers I follow the more strict rules of RAC and use the mkdir commands shown above.

  • Can I have smart print eprint on two different computes with only account

Can I have smart print eprint on two different computers with only one account???

Are you talking about accessing an ePrint account from various computers? Or having  HP Smart Print on multiple computers?
ePrint account information is kept at the site. You can log on it from anywhere, from any computer. Just go to the sire and click on Sign in and enter your password and email address. You can have multiple printers on one user account at ePrint Center (EPC). But printers can only be registered on ePrint Center to one user account.  If you have an ePrint cable printer you can create an account at this link here.
HP Smart Print does not require an account you can download to an Internet Explorere browser (versions 6-9) and use it with no registration.

  • Can I have 2 online numbers from 2 different count...

Basically the subject is self explanatory:
Can I have 2 online numbers from 2 different countries on 1 Skype account?

You should be able to do this.  You'll have to have separate Apple IDs and it would require to go to
Settings > iTunes and App Store
    Tap your Apple ID
    Sign Out
Then Sign in with the ID you use in that country.  You will neeed a valid credit card in each country.

  • JVM + Linux kernel, can it have faster program execution

Hello, I am a Garo Garabedyan from Sofia, Bulgaria. I study IT and I am a fan of Java programming language. I heard that Java is going Open Source, I want to say you that in my opinion this is a very good move.
I am writing to you about one thought on Java and other languages like it (C# in example) which can become more faster in execution. Let me explain you how.
In linux (i prefer this OS) the kernel capsulates running programs in Virtual Memory jails so they can't address memory space other that they own. This is to make the OSes more secure and run any kind of programs.
But now we got this type of languages where client-programmer can't access the memory directly, instead of it he uses references. I want to encourage you to think in this way. Why we need virtual memory capsulization when we can't access others program memory? So think further. I believe that Java is going to be more popular from now, just imagine that we can run a lot of Java programs on one virtual machine. So in this way we are more faster. Transfering data between programs is going to be only cutting references.
In order to implement this i think that there are few things to be done.
As a fan of Open Source, i want to picture this in linux.
I will try to go from kernel to jvm to recognize the changes:
1)In kernel there should be a not capsulating logic specially for Java programs. The idea is to have every program separated in kernel, so other programs to be able to address them.
2)The JVM should use one garbage collector for the all running programs
3)JVM have to have in itself implementation of communication protocol(s) between programs in one operating system. In order to make java programs connect to other ones with the same interface (it makes me fool to describe this deeper, because i don't know enough in this topic)
The main idea that i want to picture is the ability to make executing programs faster.
I want to populize this way of thinking and will try to connect with Open Source community in order to make this done not only for Java programs but for OpenSource programs with checking the memory access before compilation (with reference checking tools) and run the program not in a virtual memory. Of course this is as hard as i can't imagine is it possible to be done, but i will try to publish this idea.
    Thank you for your attention

Many criticisms of Xen can be found with a simple Google search. The biggest one seems to be the need to modify guest OS code to make it run properly with Xen, but that is going away as Xen adds support for AMD-V and Intel VT technologies. KVM is coming on strong in the virtualization market now and seems to be the accepted choice.
That said, I'm not sure how you would setup the machine to properly host VMs with KVM.
Also, you may want to Google kexec to research that restarting the kernel without rebooting idea.

  • Can we use same program ID for more than one RFC scenarios

    Hi experts,
I am working on a RFC to FILE scenario. I have created one TCP/IP connection in SM59 with a program ID. Can we use this program ID for more than one scenario. I have written code as below
data: iquote type standard table of ZIQMD initial size 0,
IPRODUCT type standard table of ZPMS initial size 0,
          wa_quote type ZIQMD,
          wa_PRODUCT type ZPMS.
    CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_QUOTEMASTER'
      TABLES
        I_QUOTE       = iquote          .
CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_QUOTEMASTER' in background task DESTINATION
    'ID4'
      TABLES
        I_QUOTE       = iquote          .
      COMMIT WORK.
    CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_PRODUCTMASTER'
      TABLES
        IPRODUCT       = IPRODUCT          .
CALL FUNCTION 'Z_CBT_RFC_PRODUCTMASTER' in background task DESTINATION
    'ID4'
      TABLES
        IPRODUCT       = IPRODUCT          .
        COMMIT WORK.
when i am executing the code like this. i am able to send the data to 'Z_CBT_RFC_QUOTEMASTER'  , but iam not getting data  for 'Z_CBT_RFC_PRODUCTMASTER'  interface. ID4 is the connection that i have created in SM59. with program ID as ABCD.
Can i use the same connection for all interfaces. Please help in this, if we can use same connection for all interfaces. then how to make changes in XI.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Poorna.

Just tried this and I can confirm that my earlier understanding was correct!
One of my colleagues confused me out and the conclusion is,
    1. You need a separate TCP IP Connection for every interface with a Unique program ID.

  • Can Equipment No same for 2 Equip in different Plants of same company code?

    Hi Gurus,
Please tell me if there is any possibility of having same Equipment No for 2 Equipments in Different Plants.
The 2 plants are in the Same Company code.
                e.g.  Equip           Plant                Company Code
                   1)  Equip_DIE    Plant1              A
                   2)  Equip_DIE    Plant2              A
If it is possible how the Equipment histroy and Breakdown history is updated in the PMIS.
Also tell me the advantages and Disadvantages of keeping same Equipment no for 2 diiferernt Equipments or otherwise keeping different equipment no.
    With best regards,
    Narendra Dere

    Hi Pete ,
              Thanks for your valuable reply.
Actually I am doing implementation for 5 plants within same Company Code.
They are geographically distant (say 50km from each Other.)
The Finish Product is same but the method is different.
They have already assigned some Equipment Numbers in the Plant for Regular Maintenance Activities.
Since Planning and Maintenance can be done at the different Plant and team of the MAintenance is different, they dont hv anyproblem if equipment number is same. Otherway they wll have the added advantage that they can continue with there own Equipment no which can be same in differnt Plant.
           e.g 800TONPRESS - Plant1
                800TONPRESS - Plant 2.
       With best regards,
       Narendra Dere

  • I want to have same iTunes account on 2 different users name on single macbook pro how do i do this

I would like to set up 2 user accounts on my macbook pro so that my girlfriend and I can both have our own email accounts however, I want to have access to my itunes account and libary from both user profiles is this possible?  If so how do I set it up.  both our itunes use the same Itunes account as well as our Ipad.

Here are the answers to your questions:
    1.  Go to System Preferences>Users & Groups>Click on the plus sign on the lower left to add an account
    2.  Move your iTunes libary to the Shared folder which is located at Hard drive>Users>Shared
    3.  Point iTunes to the new location with iTunes Preferences>Advanced>Change media location
Hope this helps.  If you need more information about iTunes, you might want to post your questions at the iTunes forum.

  • Can I have my apple purchases in two different iTunes library's on two of my separate Macs?

I have two Mac computers, and I have one of them logged in with one of our apple ID's. Is there anyway I can also have the purchases from that apple ID put on my other Mac, while still keeping them on the computer that they are on?

Yes. You can either move the files manually(this won't work for rented movies), or turn on automatic downloads.

  • How can I have a program prompt a user to input a selected number of simultaneous (different devices run off com/rs232 ports) and be able to compile all the data and/or graph it simultaneously?

I have a project that I'm working on that I could use some help on.
Some background on it is I'm taking data from a balance via RS-232 (can be a selectable list of balances), and then communicating with them on their own separate COM port. I need these to then run in parallel to then take masses in regular increments and then output them to a graph and/or TDMS file.
What I'm trying to have is that a subVI prompts the user to how many simultaneous runs will be going.
Then I will want multiple pop prompts (one for each simultaneous run) which will have initial data input (data cluster) and then associate these with the COM port and the specified balance.
I initially thought of utilizing a For Loop this way but I can't get these windows to pop up multiple times while storing their own values in say a cluster array. Can anyone give me any ideas to get me a little further?

    Cameron,
I've created a prompt for the user to select the number or runs to be run simultaneously.
This then should trigger the amount of prompts the user needs to input - ie VISA resource, and headers to label the "samples".
I want this to be done in multiples (somewhere around 1-10 simultaneous runs - bounded by the program) so that data points from multiple sources can be taken and graphed/saved to file. I just am having issues with the loop situation to be able to keep prompting the user X times and also output the data to the front panel. Originally i thought I could somehow manipulate a tab control container but I'm getting roadblocked.
Does that help you understand what I'm trying to do?
I've attached an image of what I want the user to input for each sampling.

  • How can I get the program to recognize two different types of thermocouples?

I am using a PCI-4351 card with a TBX-68T terminal block. I was having trouble writing and finding a program that would give me more than one reading/sec. I found a program on the NI website called "435x_logger_triggering", and so far it is the only program that I have found that will actually collect data at 60 Hz. Unfortunately, this program only lets you specify one mode for your thermocouples. This is a problem because we are using two thermocouples, one is type K and the other is a type R, so we get bad readings from one of the thermocouples depending on which mode it is set on. I would like to know how I can program in a seperate mode for each channel in this program. Un
fortunately, some of the sub VI's in this program are password protected, so I don't know if this is possible. Everything is entered correctly in the Measurement and Automation explorer, so that isn't the problem. I will attach a copy of the program that I am using. I have modified it slightly from the one I got off the NI website, so that the thermocouple readings have a time stamp and are saved to disk. Any assistance you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Jordan,
You should be able to sample two different thermocouples in the example that ships with the 435x driver called "Getting Started with multiple tranducers Continous". Simply put each type of thermocouple in a different index . Each index of the Transducer Group Array can have a different type and specify the channels that correspond to that type.
One way that you can speed this VI up is to place a wait inside of the while loop. This will reduce the number of times the software polls the card if it has available data(increasing the overhead). I would suggest about 500 ms. The data that you receive will all have the same delta t because the sampling clock is hardware driven not software, so it does matter when the data is polled.
    You will not be
able to get 60 samples per second when you are measuring multiple channels anyway. The sample rate for multiple channels is about 9/(# channels). This is explained in the 435x Users Manual.
I looked at your code and noticed that you tried to change some of the enumeration controls. Unfortunately you will not be able to change these because they are password protected on the low level subVIs, which is where they are defined.
The way you select if you want the notch filter is in the 435x Config you specify fast or slow. If it is slow then it will select 10Hz as the nitch filter. If you select fast the it will select either 50 or 60Hz You would then use the function "435x Set power line frequency"
    Good luck,
    Mike
