Spaces Won't Work After Reboot in 10.5.3

Since updating to 10.5.3 on my G5, Spaces does not remember that the Ctrl key and arrows are the action keys to move between spaces. If I change the modifier to one of the other options in Sys Prefs then all is OK.
Trouble is I'm used to using the defaults and it works on my other two systems without issue.
Is anyone else seeing this?

I've got Spaces working fine on the main machine that I use at work_ The 10.5.3 update disabled the Keyboard Commands - so I had to go back into Sys Prefs to re-set them_
But - I have Leopard installed on about 3 machines_ And have noticed form one to the next thru ALL versions of Leopard 10.0 thru 10.5.2 [haven't played much ith 10.5.3 yet as I just installed it this morning] that the OS acts differently on all 3 systems_ Little subtle differences_ I set certain keyboard commands on one system and they work - set the same commands on another system and they don't work_
On 2 systems the Finder settings stay the way I set them_ Finder windows stay put_ The windows stay the size I set them and the "mode" stays put_ On my main work system - the Finder re-sets every time I boot up_ Windows return to defaults - the view - the position and the size_ Some disappear - that I left open_ And on and on_
I have tried any and all "techniques" to remedy these issues without success_ Deleting Pref files - tweaking Terminal commands and so on_ On my system at work I did run an update to migrate from Tiger to Leopard and so I think soemthing is sticking in the gears so to speak_ Which a clean install might fix_
I'm not looking for advice here - I'm just passing on my experience with Leopard thus far and pointing out that it really doesn't feel as stable as Tiger or Panther were_ Again I haven't played with 10.5.3 much - but we'll see_

External keypad won't work after installing OS 7. I have a "Zagg" keyboard that won't pair now to OS 7,...Why?

They do work. I have one and mine is working. Have you tried to reset your iPad? HOlding down teh sleep and home keys until it reboots then try pairing again.
A slightly more drastic thing is to go into the settings and reset all settings. THe downside, you will need to retweak your device but it can help fix keyboard glitches.

Photoshop won't launch after reboot

For some time I'm having an issue with PS CC: Every second time I reboot my system, PSCC does not open up, though the process is in the task manager. Everytime I try to relaunch PS, another process appears. Closing any number of then will not result in a successful launch. Funny thing is it works after reboot of the machine, but the next time I reboot, it won't work. So I basically started to reboot my machine twice... but there must be another solution.
My System is an ASUS ROG G750 Notebook with Win7 64bit installed.
I have not reinstalled Photoshop yet, since I would prefer to find a solution for this problem rather than find a way to work around it.

Assuming you've first checked Software Update to see if there are any updated drivers and it's still not working, you could try resetting the printing system.
System Preferences>Print & Scan, Control+Click or Right Click on a printer on the left and select 'reset printing system'. All printers will be deleted and need to be added again.

No, the versions of iPhoto on the iPad and on OS X are totally different.
What Apple ID are you using for the Mac App Store? Who else has access to that Apple ID, or what possible other Apple IDs could be in use? It's possible you'll need to purchase iPhoto to get the upgrade, though I'd think Software Update should offer you the correct version.

Apache won't work after 10.5.2 update

Apache won't work, after I installed the 10.5.2 update.
When I type the following in the terminal: sudo apachectl -t
I get a error:
/usr/sbin/apachectl: line 81: 711 Segmentation fault $HTTPD $ARGV

I too had the same problem after the auto update 10.5.2 - specifically the 2008-002 update broke my machine in a number of areas.
I downloaded the package and ran it, this seems to have mopped up the problems caused my the first run.
The update is located at:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/security_updates/
Look for 2008-002 (Leopard) it's about 50MB.

My macbook won't work adter reboot. It is connected to a power source and i tried to reboot it (power button, command and S) but nothing happened. I tried several times but when it finally turns on, something fails and i had to force shutdown.

I'm sorry, as I keep saying... in MAIL I get the message that it cannot cannot to server!? Did you read the initial problem at all! I know exactly where mail is, although, the diagram was wonderful.
My problem is TWO FOLD.
The MAIL app doesn't work with iCloud but does work with my POP3 email for my office.
Second problem is the iCloud on Safari doesn't work as I get the error message as the screenshot above.
There is NO reason why the @me.com email shouldn't work through the iCloud site, as you can see, there is a also a Mail icon.

Connect the phone directly to the computer, not a hub.
Disconnect all other USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Disable your firewall
Disable your antivirus
In iTunes if it recognizes the phone click "Restore"
If it doesn't recognize the phone:
Disconnect the phone from the phone end, leave the USB cable plugged into the computer
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the screen turns black, excactly 10 seconds, then release the SLEEP but continue holding the HOME (If an Apple logo appears you have held SLEEP too long; do it over)
While holding HOME connect the cable to the phone
As soon as iTunes recognizes the phone release the HOME button and it should restore.
If neither procedure works note the exact error message and post it.

Add-ons for android Firefox stop working after reboot

I have Firefox (ver. 21.0) installed on my Ramos W30 tablet running ICS (4.0.4) and my UG007 android stick running JB (4.1.1). They both have the same problem. After a reboot, the add-ons stop working. If you look at the add-ons, all the info which would show below "options" is gone. The only way I've been able to get them working again is to uninstall and reinstall the add-ons.
Any other way to fix this or prevent this from happening?

I only use 2 add-ons and it happens with both. I use adblock and tabstothefront. They both stop working after reboot.

Many ppl have reported that their Firmware update won't work after they've tried the Narf/Blanka method for Dualbooting Windows. [For some reason, it doesn't).

Fortunately, it isn't necessary To Reformat etc... (at least for the firmware update) Apparently, as long you boot from a different Disk to the one you've 'messed with' - such as , say, an external FW Drive, the Firmware updater works.
Had the same problems, same reasons on a 20". Booting from external FW Drive made it happen for me.
May someone be helped by this e-missive....

Sorry: the above is (partly) wrong ... - it'll get you past the firmware update but won't get you past the Boot Camp Assistant ... - it wants to see a single partition No matter what ...
[Just for that, I'm gonna see if I can mess with the 'can't do this on an external drive' requirement ... by moving an external to internal then back out again grin)

My itunes store, app center, safari and mail won't work after upgrade

I am very dissapointed in the new maverick upgrade. My app center, itune store, safari, and me mail won't work with the new upgrade. I called the help desk and they had me uninstall and re install the upgrade. he said i should have everything backed up cuz I will lose everything, but nothing was lost. It worked for a day, but now it doesn't work at all. it just gives me the hourglass circle symbol and finally times out. A couple of times my computer gave me an error code that i wasn't connected to the internet, even though I could use chrome no problem. Another error code I got was that I wasn't signed in, but I am. Any suggestions?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.
