Spam from Apple??

Where can I report spam that 'appears' to be coming from Apple but obviously isn't.  They appear to have hijacked the Apple España email address and are using it to send me spam.  I'm sure Apple would like to know about this, and so I would like to know where I can forward these emails so that they are 'dealt' with..  Or at the very least so that Apple are aware.
Thanks

  • Email verification SPAM from Apple???

    Hi everyone,
I just got this email that I suspect to be a spam from Apple..
I believe it is a spam but it is a very clever one..
    can anyone confirm?

It's not Apple, it's a phishing attempt to try and get your iTunes account, and probably your payment details - you could forward the email to Apple : [email protected]

  • Anyone else having trouble stopping the spam from Apple?

Ever since I upgraded to Lion and signed into the Mac App Store for the first time, I've been getting junk mail from Apple every few weeks.  Every message says, in tiny, gray type at the bottom, "If you prefer not to receive commercial email from Apple, or if you've changed your email address, please click here."
Every time I get one, I "click here", and give it the e-mail address that it sent the message to.
Every time the website assures me that I've been unsubscribed from all commercial e-mail (but might take 10 days to have an effect).
But despite these promises, I'm still getting spam from Apple.
Has anyone else had this problem, or is it just me that Apple is perpetually lying to?

    MobileMe or iCloud accounts?
You can forward spam to [email protected]
If you are using iCloud >  Cloud: How spam is filtered
Or ..  How MobileMe filters spam messages

  • How much more spam from Apple?

    Why does this continue?
I have blocked this email address.
I have made a rule in preferences.
I have forwarded the messages as an attatchment to [email protected]
BUT STILL I GET SPAM FROM
    [email protected]

    Hi Jayspain,
This email address that you have provided: [email protected], is not an authentic Apple email address.
To make sure you have blocked the email address, I would like you to go to:
    Mail
Preferences, from the menu in OS X Mail
    Go to the Rules Tab
    The Add Rule
Make the criterion read ‘From Contains’
Insert the email address of: [email protected]
From the actions, select ‘delete message’
Assign a description to the new rule like ‘spam’
    Close the dialog with OK
Depending on the server and provider you are with the impact may vary, ig you use iCloud emial, this is 100% guaranteed to work. I am pretty sure that any other server/provider that has mail coming through OS X Mail, will block that address.
Many Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

  • Reporting spam emails from Apple

    Hi
I have been receiving spam emails from someone who would like me to believe they are from Apple. Clearly not as they're full of spelling mistakes, plus they have ended up in my Spam folder.
I would like to inform Apple but am struggling to find relevant contact details.
Any suggestions who I should contact / how to deal with this?
    Thanks, Tanya

  • Spam mail from Apple?

    Hi!
I just received an email supposidly from Apple, at least I thought so, that someone had changed my birthdate and security questions in my Apple acct, and they asked me if I didn't so this, to change my password. It looked like an Apple email. SO I clicked thru the email to change m password, got an https:// and entered my user ID and clicked to change my password, They said I would receive a followup email, at my email box, to continue the change. I didn't. I did it at least 4 times and NO email, to date.  Then, I went to the Apple website, support, and went to 'change password' directly, and when the page came up the place where I enter my info was FROZEN! I could not enter anything. The whole page was frozen. No matter which way I entered the Apple site, I always ended up at that page, (to enter my user ID, on my way to change my password), and the page was always frozen. Therefore, I cannot get into my acct to change anything.
Now I am worried that someone 'hacked' into my acct?? and may be using my info???  I don't know.
Has anyone else had this problem???
Do u think I was "spammed" and something put something into my computer???
    Any feedback??
I cannot get into my acct.
    Thank you  :>)

    Hello,
    Https doesn't mean it's not a spam.
In the future if you don't know if it's a spam, ty pe directly the URL into your browser.
For you problem you should go to the Apple ID page https://appleid.apple.com/ and see if you can use your login and password (choose Manage your account)
Or go to : https://iforgot.apple.com/ to reset your password.

There have been a number of phishing scam emails going around for at least half a year...do not respond, click links, or do anything with that email.  Apple does not operate that way.

  • What if I got an email purchase receipt supposedly from Apple, but it looks like spam?

I got an email that seems to be a purchase receipt from the Apple Store for a computer in the amount of $2633.88 but the purchaser is not myself. Is there an email address I can forward this to in order to tell if its a legitimate purchase receipt from Apple or if its just a spam message created by a spammer?

Apple does offer to email receipts for in-store purchases.  I don't see why someone would spam you a fake receipt.  But, someone that might have been expecting it may not have (there could have been an error in entering the correct email address).  I would suggest you just give Apple a call.  They may have another way of contacting the buyer.

Is this a real email from Apple and if yes what does it mean ?
I don't know by wich way I can send transmit this information to Apple, so I use this forum to do it. It's maybe a mistake but it is not clear on the Apple website where this kind of information can be found !
    Thank you for your answer
    Eric Weber

Someone with an Apple ID similar to yours mistyped his ID. Of course, his password didn't work, so he hit the I-forgot-my-password button. Since he was typing your ID, you get the e-mailed instructions.

  • Keep getting spam email from Apple

So far 7 times I get an email about my iCloud is almost full. There is no unsubscribe option at the bottom of the message.

    Hey RavensGate,
I can understand the constant emails can be frustrating. If you think that your storage is getting full, take a look at the first article to help curb that back. If all looks good and you are not even close to being full, check where the email came from to actually see if it came from Apple. To inspect that, look to the second article for assistance.

I just got this message and sent it to [email protected] per instructions on another post. the link leads to a page asking for Apple id and credit card information.

I got a similar email. It's obviously Spam. The double period afetr the first sentence and the otherwise poor grammar are dead giveaways even before I checked out the link embedded. -- I didn't click on it, just hovered over it to get the url. And the return address was [email protected] Very bogus.
