SPAM : next action - Perform Adjustment

Dear All,
I am applying SAP-HR support pack SAPKE47080 on my SAP R/3 4.7. I am getting " Perform Adjustment " as a next action.
Import phase 'RUN_SPDD_?' (17.02.2009, 21:55:07)
Manual modification adjustment is neccessary
Interrupt the import for execution of manual actions (17.02.2009, 21:55:07)
This is the log entry of SPAM. I am unaware of this .
plz suggest what should i do ?
Thanks in advance.
Ankit Gupta

Someone (maybe you) adjusted a table or other dictionary objects - you have to check and adapt all those that they appear "green" again.
When done, go back to SPAM and continue SP application.

  • SPAM in "perform adjustment mode" for a week

    Hello
    I have left SPAM in "perform adjustment mode" for a week or so. I wander is it anything needed to be checked now before runiining it further?
    (there are just HR localisation packages but stilll/where can I see if anything has to be done i.e. if some modification went throug in this week)
    Thank you in advance
    Jan

    Hi Jan,
    Execute SPAU, adjust the objects which are applicable.
    These adjustments needs to be done before you actually release the system to endusers.
    Refer to SCN document for SPAU adjustments

    Hope this helps.

  • I am trying to add a note in numbers when I can link an action required to my calendar... Is this possible? For example I am using numbers like a CRM and I would like to be able to have my next action required for a customer link to my calendar

    I am using numbers as a CRM and one of my columns is called 'Next Action Required' i.e
    Next Action Required
    Email Douglas on the 02-12-14 about information needed for tour
    Call Thomas 0446 393 about booking trip
    Thank you in anticipation

    Utterly bizarre. I can't see your two follow-up posts when I'm logged in. However...
    Things would be simple if Apple implemented Data Detectors for dates in Numbers, as they have in applications like TextEdit and Script Editor. Then you’d have a system-level means of quickly moving from a selected date in your CRM spreadsheet to Calendar.
    Until that happy day arrives, though, we can approximate it with AppleScript and Automator.
    First, make sure your Numbers table is called CRM and your column has the header Next action required. (You can change these if you want but you’ll also have to modify the script.) This is the basic setup:
    Then, launch Automator and create a new workflow. From the Choose a type… dialog, specify Service.
    At the top of the workflow, “Services receives selected…” should be set to text in Numbers.app. (You'll need to choose Other... from the pop-up and then navigate to Numbers.)
    In the Library menu at the left, click on Utilities, then drag a Run AppleScript action into the main Automator pane. Delete all the boilerplate text from the script.
    It should look like this:
    Now copy and paste the script below into the Run AppleScript action.
    on run {date_string}
      tell application "Numbers"
      tell document 1
      tell active sheet
      try
      set crm_table to (item 1 of (every table whose name is "CRM"))
      on error
      display dialog "No CRM table in this sheet"
      return
      end try
      tell crm_table
      try
      set the_selection to selection range
      set the_row to row 1 of the_selection
      on error
      display dialog "Select some text in a cell"
      return
      end try
      set the_col to item 1 of (column of the_selection)
      set header_cell to cell 1 of the_col
      if value of header_cell is "Next action required" then my run_calendar(date_string)
      end tell
      end tell
      end tell
      end tell
    end run
    on run_calendar(date_string)
      try
      set date_string to date_string as string
      set real_date to date (date_string)
      on error
      set real_date to (current date)
      end try
      tell application "Calendar"
      activate
      switch view to day view
      try
      view calendar at real_date
      on error the_err
      display dialog the_err
      end try
      end tell
    end run_calendar
    Click the little hammer at the top to make sure that the script compiles (indents and colours in). If it doesn’t, you may need to sort out some line breaks in the copied and pasted script.
    Now save the workflow as Go to date in Calendar. Quit Automator.
    So what does the script do? Basically, it looks at the selected text in a Numbers cell and checks to see that the table name is “CRM” and the column header is “Next Action Required”. It then tries to convert the selected text into a valid date. If it can, it takes you to that date in Calendar. If it can’t, it takes you to today’s date. In both cases it switches Calendar to day view. You have to bear in mind that if you select all of “10/10/14 Call John re contract” it won’t understand that part of this is a date, and won’t go to October 10.  You'd have to select just "10/10/14"
    To run the Service, right-click or control-click on the selected text and go down to Services, then choose Go to date in Calendar:
    Alternatively, run it from Services in the main Numbers menu.
    You can set up a keyboard shortcut for any Service in System Preferences - Keyboard - Shortcuts. Post back if you need more info about this.
    Tested with Numbers 3.5 (2109). This will not work with Numbers '09.
    Hope this works for you, let us know how you get on.

  • 'action performed' on array of buttons.

    Hi everyone!
    I am trying to set up an array of buttons on a panel in the main frame of my application. I can get them on to the panel, displaying them correctly but i can;t seem to attach an action performed method to them. Ive attached the following code - if you have any ideas on how to solve this problem i would be very grateful. DO you think it is because they are on this panel and not directly on the main Frame.?
    If i try to attach say Button1_action performed then it clashes with my original button 1!
    Thanks in advance.....
    static int N=10;
    String lett[]={"a","b","c","d","e","f","g","h","i","j"};
    Button button[]=new Button[N];
    for(int k=0;k<N;++k)
    {button[k]=new Button();
    button[k].setLabel(lett[k]);
    button[k].setBackground(Color.darkGray);
    button[k].addActionListener(new java.awt.event.ActionListener() {
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
    button[k]_actionPerformed(e);
    this.panel1.add(button[k]);

A: 'action performed' on array of buttons.

viravan is right - your code should work except that button[k]_actionPerformed won't compile. Also, you don't need a separate ActionListener for each button - use a common one and test for the source.
e.g.
import java.awt.*;
import java.awt.event.*;
...code to define Frame, Panel etc...
static int N=10;
String lett[]={"a","b","c","d","e","f","g","h","i","j"};
Button button[]=new Button[N];
ActionListener common = (new ActionListener() {
     public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
            Button source = (Button)e.getSource();
             System.out.println("Label of button pressed = " + source.getLabel() );
for(int k=0;k<N;++k) {
    button[k]=new Button();
    button[k].setLabel(lett[k]);
    button[k].setBackground(Color.darkGray);
    button[k].addActionListener(common);
    panel1.add(button[k]);
}Another alternative is to addActionListener(this) and code the actionPerformed method as part of the Frame class.

  • "get specified text" - how to pipe its result to next action in my Automato

    trying to understand Automator's "get specified text" action. It seems to ask a question in the middle of a workflow, to which you input the answer. I want to pipe its output to the next action, ie, ask the user for a text string to which a text stamp will be applied to a multi-page PDF. Similiar to what Adobe Acrobat Pro can do if you go Documents/Add/Watermark.
    There must be a simpler way then to spring for $500 to get a text stamp (basically a script's authors name) as a large diagonal background across all pages of a script thats been turned into a pdf.
    Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. Im going to attempt to provide this solution free to the Mac community, since I couldnt find one out there.

    OK, that makes a little more sense.
    The Watermark PDF Files action isn't going to do what you want - at least not without a little more work.
    If you look at the Automator definition of that action it requires a list of files as its input. You can't pass in a piece of text to use as the watermark.
    Therefore the 'Watermark PDF Files' action can follow the 'Get Selected Finder Items' (since that returns a list of files), but the watermark action requires the watermark be specified at build time - you can't add a dynamic watermark at runtime.
    In addition to that, the watermark action requires an image file to be used as the watermark, not a piece of text.
    The only Automator solution I can see to this would be to have one action that asks for text and generates a corresponding image file. This can then be used as the watermark file by the action. Off-hand, though, I can't see an easy Automator way to create an image file from an arbitrary piece of text...

  • Help needed with Button action performed

    Hi,
    I am new to AWT prgramming .
    I have created a menu called " Menu System Test window " and it contains toplevel menu items of "File" and "Help" and File Menu contains subitems "Product Evaluation" and "Exit".
    When i click File->Product Evaluation it displays a new Frame named "ProductEvaluationMeasurementTool" with some check boxes ,radiobuttons, buttons and text fields. So when i select some checkboxes in that new frame and click the button labeled "Metricslevel" it displays some resultin textField1 , similarly when i click Button labeled "Measurementlevel" it displays some result in textField2.
    My question is i have another button in Frame Called "Reset". When i click the Reset button all the check boxes which have been checked previously should be unchecked and moreover the result in both the textfield should be cleared.
    I am sending my code. Kindly help me.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Action performed methods

    Hi,
    I was wondering if there was any way to make an action performed method not be void. My action performed methods create booleans which I need the values of to be returned so they can trigger if() statements in another part of the application. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    No. ActionPerformed is an interface that has a set definition. It is unusual for code to explitily call an actionPerformed listener. Usually the listener is added to a component and the component's code makes the call. If you are making explicit calls, you could create your own interface that returns whatever type you want.

    It has to do with the order you enter the fields in the Business Model from Physical model! It must be the opposite way than the one you want them to be show. In your case, you must first delete both fields from your business model, then drag tham in with first the "name" field and then the "code" field.
    It did work for me!

  • Greatly reduced action performance in CS5

    The bug issue text below wouldn't fit in the bug report form even though it's less than 2000 characters (another bug, perhaps?)
    ******BUG******
    Concise problem statement:  reduced performance in Action processing in CS5 compared to CS3
    Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. Create an image file, 8000 by 9880 pixels 16-bit RGB color.
    2. The background can be any image, though I was using a scan of a test target with colored patches for scanner calibration.
    3.  Create a layer "final target" on top of the background.  Set contents to transparent.
    4.  Create a selection 295 pixels on a side with rectangular marquee tool.  Position this selection in the upper left corner.
    5.  Save the selection to an alpha channel "Grid Box."
    6.  Run an action with the following steps.
    a.  Load the selection "Grid Box."
    b.  Select the layer "final target"
    c.  Expand the selection 2 pixels.
    d.  Fill the selection with the foreground color.
    e.  Set the foreground color to white.
    f.  Select the background layer.
    g.  Move the selection 295 pixels to the right.
    h.  Save the new selection as "Grid Box", replacing the channel.
    The use of this action:
    Use the eyedropper tool to select a color from the center of the selected square, then use the magic wand tool to subtract from the selection using the color in the center of the square in contiguous mode with tolerance set to 8.  Then run the action, and repeat the above process in the next selected square.  In the scan I am preparing, there is a grid of colored squares surrounded by a large black border.  The final result needs the black border eliminated so that the colored squares completely butt up against each other spaced 295 pixels apart.
    So by running the action, the color in the center of each box is copied to fill the rest of the square selected area that's black, leaving the center portion intact.   The copied colors go on the "final target" layer so the background layer is not disturbed.
    If you need a copy of the action and/or the image file, contact me by email.
    Results:  In CS5 the action is unusable due to the long run time.
    Expected results:  In CS3 it works perfectly.

    My theory initially was that you had given Photoshop just enough RAM to work efficiently with your CS3 setup, but perhaps because of differences in your Photoshop RAM setting or perhaps because Photoshop CS5 has more code in memory, it's starving for RAM under the same test, and goes to its scratch file for relief.
    I created a test image and tried your action with a stopwatch.
    Photoshop CS5 x64 on Windows 7 x64 (i.e., with plenty of RAM) takes 1.8 seconds to run through your action.
    Photoshop CS5 32 bit consistently takes 6.8 seconds to go through the same steps.   Notably it stalls on the Expand and Select layer "Background" steps for a few seconds each, where it blazed right through them in the 64 bit version.
    In my case I have given Photoshop CS5 2897 MB to work with (89%).  This number is larger on a 64 bit system than what you can set because Photoshop 32 bit can use up to a 3 GB address space.
    I'll do tests next with earlier versions of Photoshop.

  • Automator doesn't go to next action step, actions not working

    I am trying to make a simple Photoshop CS2 sequence in automator, I downloaded the CS2 actions from http://www.completedigitalphotography.com/index.php?p=339 ... i used:
    Flatten Document
    Resize Image
    Save as TIFF
    It only does the first step (flatten), it has a little green check mark next to each other action and said it completed them, but my image size remains unchanged, and it doesn't save as TIFF..
    I tried to put 'Resize Image' on its own, and 'Save as Tiff', turns out they don't work on the image..
    Whats the use of an automator if it doesn't do more than one action at a time? and whats the use of having actions if they don't do any action..
    In the .sit file from the cs2action pack, are there action files or .atn files that i have to copy into my CS2 actions folder? When i upack the .sit file I don't find any .atn files...
    Hope someone can ease my frustrations.

    Hi,
    You need to add a "Continue" statement at the end of your
    script otherwise you will have to click on Skip to go to next
    slide.
    And all the Quzzing information can be accessed from Flash
    using the Quizn variables.

  • Action performs % scale instead of setting width & height

    Hi
    I'm trying to create an action to scale an object to an width of 1024 pixel and then save if for web.
    But the actions saves the percents, making it useless when applied to another object.
    Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    Noties in pictures, that I set the width to 1024 pixel, but in the Action it performs an Scaling of 1233,73%

    Record setting the width or height in the Transform palette (or Control Panel) instead of in the Scale dialog.

  • ActionListener/Action Performed

    Ok so, ive got my GUI to display using multiple layouts thanx to all of your help!!!! Thanx so much....Now to make the GUI do stuff. My question is, in all of my other classes, i have already written fucntions that will be tied to buttons (ie, add user[writes to db], delete user, etc), but my question lies with how do i properly implement actionListener and ActionPerformed.
    Ive been looking at this tutorial:
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/events/actionlistener.html
    public class Beeper ...  implements ActionListener {
        //where initialization occurs:
            button.addActionListener(this);
        public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
         Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().beep();
    }my question is, since i have four buttons, am i supposed to have a seperate actionPerformed() version for each button? Or Can i write one huge actionPerformed() that tells java what to do with all of my buttons (in tieing the buttons to my functions)...? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    ~Hana

    Not sure what you mean. The source is the component that fired the ActionEvent that has been sent to the listener. If a button gets clicked, the button is the source.
    If, on a button click, you want to know what is in a text area, use myTextArea.getText().
    For example, the text area contains a name, but the action you want to perform is based on wether you click the "DeleteName" or "AddName" button. Get source tells you which button is clicked. Then, you get the text and call the appropriate function. That is why you have an if/else construct in the actionPerformed() method.
