  • Applied SP but it is not showing in SPAM Status Package Level

    Hi all,
I have applied Basis and ABAP Support Package on our XI system.
    SP applied : SAPKB64011,SAPKB64012,SAPKB64013
                SAPKA64011,SAPKA64012,SAPKA64013
ODS packages were successfully imported, i have verified it using
SPAM>Directory>Imported Support Packages>Display. It is showing all green.
But when I go to SPAM>Status>Package Level it is showing level 10 for BASIS
    and ABAP both.
Please help, why this is happening? what to do to resolve it?

  • Amavisd.conf vs. X-Spam-Status

    Hello, all--
I'm seeing lots of spam come through with a 'negative' score
    (X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-5.541, for example.)
I have amavisd.conf configured to tag at 1.4 and kill at 5.
1.4 seems quite aggressive, and I wouldn't feel comfortable going much lower. How is spam going to get caught when most of it is scoring way under 1.4---way under zero, for that matter? Any tips/insights greatly appreciated.
BTW, I am training SA nightly, using spamtrainer.
    Thanks very much--

  • Error while applying

    Hi All.........
Our environment is SAP4.7 ,MS SQL 8 ,Windows 2003 Server.
We upgraded kernel patch ( from 71 to 175 ). We are applying patches .
We successfully applied Abap patches, Basis patches, and Application patches.
While applying HR patches, SAPKE47043 to SAPKE47060
    completed successfully.
When applying SAPKE47061 it's get strucked at
    spam status :"IMPORT_PROPER"
and compiling status is "distrubutin of db objects"
I stopped that transaction and tried to import again. Here also it's strucked at
    spam status :"IMPORT_PROPER"
and compiling status is " imp all "
When i tryed to delete that in queue, It's giving message
"You can't reset queue while import phase "
I am not able to upload and delete that patch (SAPKE47061) .There is no chance to go for further steps.
Please tell me your valuable suggestions.
    Regards,
    Nagendra.

check in the popup the exact step it's failing (tp IMPORT_PROPER at step '6' for example), then check the appropriate logfile in \usr\sap\trans\log for the exact error. If in doubt, post it and we may help.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I did all the checks for STMS and they came back with green lights.
I got into the note that is SAP recommends before doing the work and they state that if the IMPORT_PROPER fails to update your system to at least patch level 75, and then start importing Support Packages. We are well above that patch number, so that was no help.
One thing I noticed was in the Import Log for SPAM/SAINT was a couple of errors.
One is in the ABAP Dictionary Distribution:
--> No active nametab exists for CVERS_SUB       Termination due to inconsistencies
    Two is in the
--> Nabetab of table CVERS_SUB with status A does not exist.
row or object CVERS_SUB in R3CRPDATA type *FILE in use.
I'm going to look into this in use file. But if anyone has any other ideas, let me know. Thanks,
    Ryan

  • SAPKB70012 patch struck in IMPORT_PROPER

    Hi All,
I have a SAP SCM 5.0 system with BI.
I applied one single SAP Basis Support Package (SAPKB70012) overnight. In the morning saw that its struck in IMPORT_PROPER. The current action showing is QUEUE IMPORT. I started the SP again from that point and its continuing with "imp_all" for the last two days.
I am sure, the installation is not happening but the SPAM status shows "imp_all". I stopped and started again..But again its in that phase "imp all" still going on.
The Transport log show return code 12.

    Venu,
I have checked the note (822379 - Known problems with Support Packages in SAP NW 7.0x AS ABAP) also. Nothing there.
The problem which I can see in the SLOG
WARNING:       Background job RDDIMPDP could not be started or terminated abnormally.
Please check that the R/3 system is running.
Please check the system. Use transactions SM21, SM37, SM50.

Can I schedule RDDIMPDP at OS level. Reason, it gives dump when i try to open se37.
Moreover SAP Suggested me to upgrade the database to 10.2.0.2 and apply the interim patch which solves the ORA 3601 problem. But after this also. I am not able to apply the patch

    Hi All,
We have installed solman 4.0 on windows environment. when i tried to import spam/saint update, it got terminated in the phase IMPORT_PROPER.
Also, in SM50 it is showing on workprocess running for long and gets terminated. I also have run SGEN once my installation was over.

can anyone suggest what the problems would be..
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi
I have tried three times. In fact I also restarted SAP System by changing rdisp/max_wp_runtime to 0 as there were lot of short dumps with timeouts.
I notice that currently job RDDGEN0L is running at present.
    Also,
    1) Dialogue work process running Report SAPMS38L with action Delete on Table D0101NC (User DDIC).
    2) BGD Work process Status “On Hold” Reasn “RFC” with report SAPLSDDD (User DDIC).
SPAM Status is "MOVE NAMETABS FINISHED WITH RETURN CODE 0". Import logs finished with error code 4.

  • Problem with Support Package SAP_BASIS (Error Stop) IMPORT_PROPER

    Hi Everyone,
i want to apply Support Pack for SAP_BASIS. Now Its Level is 0009 (ECC 6.0).
i did import the SPs SAPKB70010 and SAPKB70011. We only want until Stack 11.
The test scenario was without an error. But during the Standard scenario there occurred a problem:
    SPAM Status: Error Stop
    Import Phase: IMPORT_PROPER
I guess there are different reasons:
    1) We didn´t make a SPAM update before! it´s still version 7.00/0021.
    2) I have no idea if the guy before me made a kernel update.
And now i wanted to update SPAM to version 27. but first i should "repair" this problem because the SAP_BASIS is still in the queue.
Is there a possibility to delete the queue, update SPAM and the Kernel and then try it again with this support package?
We cannot go further than Stack 11!
    please help me!

    Hi,
This is not because of SPAM version nor the upgrade of kernal. If that was a SPAM problem then it will
not allow you to define the queue.
There are some know problems with this basis patches please read the note .Just run the import again this error would not occur.
If this error occurs  then post the import logs for further analysis.
    Regards,
    Vamshi.

  • Office mail configured on MAC Mail, messages sent out are tagged as SPAM

    Hi All,
This being my first question, excuse me if I have selected a wrong community for this question.
Here is what I am having difficulty in configuring my MAIL client:
I have configured my office mail, and when I send any message from this, the mail is being tagged as SPAM by my office mail server and all my mails are going into JUNK folder of receipent, when I looked at the RAW message here is what I see:

I have configured my GMAIL and the mails are working fine with that server. The line that is underlined in bold is the difference in the header when I send using my office ID and from GMAIL configured: with configured GMAIL the line looks like:

My IP address is being treated differently in both the cases. Is there something I need to do extra to solve this issue. This might be the reason why Iam not able to send mails to any other domain other than my office domain from my OFFICE ID.
Is there something that Iam missing while configuring??
    Thanks in Advance,
    Pradeep

If you are running a mail client, then your mail client is probably not configured to use the correct ports with your office mail server (use of the mail submission port, TCP 587 would be typical).  It looks like you might be connecting in without benefit of authentication.  Work with your mail server administrator to determine local requirements for your particular mail server.  (It's somewhat surprising you got as far as sending mail with this configuration and got detected as a spam engine; your office mail server may well have other issues.)
If you are running a mail server (more typical of this forum), then the following diagnostic is your answer why this message got rejected: [BAYES_50=0.8, HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR=1.951, RCVD_IN_BRBL_LASTEXT=1.449, RCVD_IN_PBL=3.335, RDNS_NONE=0.793]
Loosely translated, your mail server IP and DNS looks like a spam engine.   (Now whether that's your office mail server that's configured incorrectly and being detected as a spam engine, or your mail client that's getting misdetected by a somewhat-too-open office mail server wasn't immediately clear to me.)
More specifically, this diagnostuc means your public reverse DNS is not an IP address that is expected to be sending mail.  As is listed in the diagnostic, the IP address you are using is in several blacklists.  Among other issues, the IP address is being detected as a dynamic address (HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR), it's listed in a Barracuda blacklist,  and it's listed in a Spamhaus blacklist.
Talk to your ISP, and get your forward DNS, your reverse DNS and your MX record to all match your domain, and both you and your ISP will want to get your IP address out of the blacklist.
If you cannot get your addresses to match and sort out your DNS, then you'll have to configure your mail client or your mail server to use your ISP mail server as a relay (if your ISP permits that), or work with some other mail server provider where you can obtain authorization to relay mail.
(Forward DNS: domain name to IP address.  Reverse DNS: IP address to domain name.  MX: the host name A record for the mail server for the domain.)

  • SPAM is winning!!!

Hi everybody, I hope that someone out there can help. Before I go into all the details, I want you to know that we don't have a tech person and I have nowhere near the amount of tech knowledge that you have out there, so please be gentle.
Simply stated: Spam is getting the best of us. We are a small design firm and haven't had a lot of problems since launching OS X Server. Everyone's e-mail is functioning with the exception of catching Spam. The spam filter is set for 5 hits. The problem lies with two of our e-mail accounts:
With the first one, some Spam is being caught, tagged as * JUNK MAIL * and is being delivered to the intended recipient for further handling. Other spam is still coming through, however. The Internet headers of these e-mails show the unmarked spam with 1-3 hits, so it's not being caught.
With the second problem account, most of these e-mails are truly spam, but none of them are being caught and tagged as ** JUNK MAIL *. When the user downloads his e-mail, Entourage throws the e-mail into the Junk Mail folder automatically, while the non-junk mail comes through correctly. Somehow Entourage is handling the spam far better than Tiger Server. Why is this? How can Entourage pick out the spam and not OS X Server???
After reading the Apple documentation and a book entitled "Mac OS X Server Tiger 10.4: A Visual Quickpro Guide", we have also created spam accounts called JunkMail and NotJunkMail, but without any success. I've also looked at Spamtrainer from osx.topicdesk.com. From what I've been reading in these posts about spam, users are to tweak Spamassassin in Terminal. Well, we don't know Terminal and wouldn't even know where to start.
Is there anyone out there who can provide an easy-to-follow, step-by-step guide on how to cure the spam problem?

    Hi Alex,
I had some difficulty last night with spamassassin and spamtrainer, too. I went back to the basics and ran spamtrainer as if I were setting it up for the first time. It learned spam and it learned ham overnight.
First, here is the statistical output of spamtrainer:
    sunshine:~ administrator$ sudo -s
    sunshine:~ root# spamtrainer -i
Checking if there is a startup item for 'learnjunkmail' or 'spamtrainer'
There IS NO plist for learnjunkmail
There IS NO cron job for learnjunkmail
There IS NO plist for spamtrainer
There IS a cron job for spamtrainer
    sunshine:~ root#

I try to submit ip (93.41.39.142) in Spamhaus database and it found it in cbl.abuse.org,
this'd be enought for postfix to reject it because i use zen.spamhaus.org in main.cf
but if i looked at mail.log , postfix didn't reject it and it passed to user's folder.
Does someone can suggest me a way to reject these messages...
I setup and update my mail service following osx.topidesk.com suggests (also pterobyte useful posts) and i'm running since now without any problems...
I post here also my main.cf (postconf -n)

    Thank you all for support!

    thank you Mark,
of course yes, this could be a possibility but not in my case,
i receive , as well as many other small mail hosters i think, more > 12000 spam emails for a day ( all coming from different networks. Most of them , 70 %, is blocked by RBL check at postfix side other by spamassassin or JF on mail clients.
Sometimes as in these days ,i receive tons of mail and all of them flowed to user mailboxes
as they were clean (only one *) and a low score plus a violation of FHRELAYNODNS rule.
But what i can't understand is why posftix didn't reject them before, during RBL checks for example
( ip 93.41.39.142 is listed in cbl.abuse.org so also in zen.spamhaus.org)
What is common in all spam headers in my case is their domain after @, they look like in reverse dns, in my case .. [email protected] .
Reject them by their ip notation in From: header could be the best solution, but i not sure how to act,
considering my huge mail traffic...postfix side or a rule in spamassassin ?

It's quite annoying for him when dealing with clients. I've gone through his Apple Mail Preferernces with him and they all seem ok.
I do this by phone as we live 300 miles apart. It looks to me that these headers are saying that he has a 'suspicious Host name.'
His ISP has been of no help. Has anyone out there had a similar problem, and if so, how was it resolved?
    Thanks in advance. ~jeff

The receiver is running SpamAssassin and it's determining that the e-mail is spam. The recipient may need to use (a lot) more examples to train his spam filter. You can minimize the probability of flagging this as spam by setting up the sending mail server correctly. It appears that it's not identifying itself to other mail servers by the registered DNS name, and doesn't have reverse DNS set. Fixing those things will help.

  • Error SPAM update SAPKB70017

    Dear all
when updating SPAM for BASIS SAPKB70017 there is error like this :
    SPAM status:           (Error stop)
    Import phase:     PREPARE_XPRA
when I check st22, there is 5 syntax error
the first one is  Syntax error in program "SAPLSCP2 ".
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLOLEA" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in program "SAPLSCP2 " in include
    "CL_GUI_ALV_GRID===============CU " in
    line 127:
    "Type "IF_ALV_PRINT_PARAMETER_PROXY" is unknown"
The 2nd is :  Syntax error in program "SAPLSUSM ".
The 3rd is : Syntax error in program "SAPLSDOC ".
The 4th is : Syntax error in program "CL_DB6_CALENDAR_CFG===========CP ".
    The 5th is : Runtime Errors         LOAD_PROGRAM_LOST
Program "SAPLBTCH" was modified during the run.
Can anybody help me, what should I do to continue patching??
    thanks a lot
    rgds,
    Della

    Hi Rosa,
I too faced the similar issue while applying the Patch please follow the below procedure through which i was able logon successfully.
    1. Take a valid Backup.
    2. Ensure that no more TP and R3trans are running at OS level.
    3. Ensure that the entry in the transport buffer for SAPKB70013 is still available, check that with
    tp showbuffer <SID> pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tag=spam
If the entry of SAPKB70017 is still available, ensure that TRBAT and TRJOB tables are empty (check at DB level)
    4. then start the main import manually using the command
    tp r3i SAPKB70017 DS2 pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL tag=spam -Dclientcascade=yes -Drepeatonerror=8
    (all in one line)
this step will take more time , after this step finished with return code 0 or 4, i become able to logon to the system and i completed the queue from SPAM tcode
    Thanks,
    Sandeep Singh DS

  • SPAM/SAINT update issue before and after EHP4

We tried to update the SPAM/SAINT package after the installation of ECC 6.0 EHP4 Ready system.
Here are few steps which we have performed on the system even before EHP4 installation.
    1. we tried to update the SPAM before moving with EHP4 installation however it did not completed and when logs seems to be proper. We reset the queue with Function Module OCS_RESET_QUEUE using Tx se37 .
    2. The spam status went to green with updated version
3.We moved ahead with the EHP4 installation assuming that installation will fix the SPAM issue. After the installation completed the SPAM status was green with the new version , however when we exectuted the import spam/saint it again went to the PROLOGUE state.
Please let us know if we can use the system productively as we have performed these steps without the SAP support , also there are no errors at the ST22 other than originated by the spam tx.
Please find the attached trans log

    http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=20880680182063159483
    Please advice....
Also , the show buffer command shows following output..
    D:\usr\sap\GCQ\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64>tp  showbuffer  GCQ pf=
    hostname\sapmnt\t
    rans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_GCQ.PFL tag=SPAM
This is tp version 375.94.95 (release 701, unicode enabled)
    GCQ buffer:
    SAPKD70139          |                    | |has already been imported completely
that makes 0 transports to be imported.
tp finished with return code: 0
    meaning:
      Everything OK

    Hi,
    > 1. we tried to update the SPAM before moving with EHP4 installation however it did not completed and when logs seems to >be proper. We reset the queue with Function Module OCS_RESET_QUEUE using Tx se37 .
This is not supported by SAP.
As I understand you are installing new EHP4 system, then what do you mean by before moving to EHP4 installation ?
    > 2. The spam status went to green with updated version
    > 3.We moved ahead with the EHP4 installation assuming that installation will fix the SPAM issue. After the installation >completed the SPAM status was green with the new version , however when we exectuted the import spam/saint it again >went to the PROLOGUE state.
    >
As I can see your buffer status which is showing that transport is already imported then why are you importing same SPAM status again.
What is your current SPAM level and which SPAM level you are trying to update ?
What is the system status now ? Is upgrade completed successfully. Please provide all information.
    Thanks
    Sunny

The following syntax error occurred in program
    "CL_OCS_RT_ANALYSIS============CP " in include

    I have create OSS-message and SAP reply;s:
Regarding your issue, please transport the class CL_OCS_RT_ANALYSIS
from other system in the landscape which is on the same release and
support package level and with the SPAM\SAINT update version as the
PRD system to the PRD system to resolve the syntax error.
Once the syntax error is resolved in the PRD the SPAM\SAINT update can
be continued in the SPAM to import the SPAM\SAINT update in the system.
For more information please refer the link specified below for
including the objects manually in the transport request.
