Spammers using my email addy

Spammers have been using my email address for about a week now to send out SPAM. I know this because I get a couple "undeliverable" email /returned emails I didn't send every day.....Well today I just got an email from VERIZON
stating that my "Outbound email access suspended"....What can I do ?

You are correct; there is nothing we can do when spammers spoof an email address as the sender.
I'm curious why Verizon is suspending your account, though. I thought they did that when an account sent lots of email that they think is spammy. In this case, that's not happening so I've no idea what trigger the suspension.
I don't use Verizon's email for much,as I like to have better control over my email and I don't like my email linked to my ISP.

It looked in Mail, which had 5 email accounts set up in it, and for some reason picked the only one that I no longer use because it is for a school that I no longer attend. How can I fix it so that it syncs with the correct email account for notes and calendar? There don't seem to be any settings available other than to check if you want to use the basic features. It also said during the set up that it was setting up 'find my mac' but if I look on the iCloud website there is nothing showing there for finding my mac.
At this point I feel like I wasted my money paying for this supposed upgrade. I got nothing for it but frustration. It even automatically set my security settings to allow only downloads from the Mac store so the first time I went to download something I had to stop what I was doing and go correct settings first. I feel like there should be a security setting to block downloads from the Mac store so I don't accidentally end up clicking the wrong thing and being charged.

iCloud isn't syncing them on your phone. You simply added the email account to your phone and enabled calendar and notes syncing with the email provider, and the calendar and notes appear in the calendar and notes apps on your phone. You can do this with Gmail, Yahoo and other IMAP account. iCloud email is just another IMAP account, but syncs notes with Apple's iCloud server just as Gmail syncs notes and calendars with Google's server.
iCloud didnt' set up a non-iCloud account on your Mac. When you check Mail in System Preferences>iCloud, it only creates an iCloud email account. You can also add other email accounts to your Mac by going to System Preferences>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and clicking on the "+" sign on the bottom of the left sidebar. If you added these other email accounts to your Mac before you upgraded to Mountain Lion, these were simply maintained on your Mac after you upgraded.

Why no email addy for firefox, and why no support for firefox

moving shortly to chrome or any browser that does have an email addy and does support its product. since the latest update firefox comes up with "not responding" after every page or click on screen, however as their is no email to write to in order to find out whats gone wrong, then it shows that firefox have no confidence in their own product as they refuse to respond or have a contact us email addy. mind you its nice to know that this has happened before firefox 4 appeared as that will be even more hopeless if the latest update is anything to go by. should think that ie will be overjoyed at the large numbers coming back to them due to firefox's untested updates that kill firefox.

Changed email addy, now app updates needs old email.

I recently deleted my gmail account that was used for one of my apple id`s, and changed it to Yahoo email. Now some old apps i have are asking me to log in with gmail to update the apps. It is the exact same account all i have done is changed the emaill addy to yahoo. Does anyone have an answer to this?

Spammers using Nokiamail

I'm not sure if your aware of this or not, but your free e-mail is becoming an issue with spammers using it to sign up at websites and is getting very close to being added to DNSBL. I'm guessing from the ease of signup for it and lack of a proper reporting engine in your service as the reason for spammers being attracted to Nokiamail.
I suggest that you correct the problems before nokiamail.com emails are all blocked due to the issue.

That's done as well, but thanks for replying. Just to report the issue to Nokia it was necessarry to lie that I had a Nokia phone. Hardly a good system for reporting an issue like this. Most website owners would just give up prior to going that far and just put nokiamail.com on a block list and submit the address to DNSBL. The end result of that is that eventually all nokiamail.com email addresses will end up blocked for registration on a lot of sites.
Anyway, I have reported it to Nokia via email and it also is here in these forums, so the problem has been highlighted to the point that they should be aware of the issue.
Hopefully they will take steps to correct it before Nokia owners start having issues with their email.

ITunes using old email address

A few days back I received several warnings onscreen that my me.com security had been compromised. Rather than click on any links, I waited and later accessed my account. I changed the password but I keep getting warnings that my account has been disabled and my account has been locked and to visit iForgot to reset my password. I've done that THREE times now and my iPad STILL uses an old email address to sign in instead of the me.com address and I can't update anything. Same with my iPhone. Anyone else having these problems?
I DID check the statement for the credit card I use for the account and there were indeed 3 transactions I didn't recognize.
How do I at least change the old email address iTunes is using? Throughout my time with this iPad, and sometimes on the Mac, iTunes used my regular email addie to get into iTunes. Now it still uses it but doesn't recognize it. *FacePalm*

Sign off her browswer session and click on "Forgot password click for assistance" link. Because you remember the emaiil address you used to register you can now just reset your password. When you say "don't want to loose the music I had" where are those tunes?

It's called iMessage, new in iOS 5.0...these messages are going as iMessages, and as designed, they appear on all of your iOS devices(your Apple ID on your daughter's phone). Either turn iMessage off on your daughter's phone or get her her own Apple ID & wipe her phone & then setup it up again using her own Apple ID. Your daughter having her own Apple ID is recommended if you want to fully take advantage of iCloud, FaceTime, iMessage, etc. She can still use your iTunes account.

Unauthorised use of email address

I keep getting an email from [email protected] Delivery Notification: Delivery has timed out and failed. they are notifications of emails which are not generated by me. They are being sent from other people using my email address.How can i stop my email address being used.

That's spam. They are spoofing your email addy as a return address and as the sender. No way to stop it because once the email gets on a mailing list, it is sold all over the world.
I too have the same issue with my .mac email addy. I want to stop receiving only .mac addressed emails from being delivered as they are now 99% spam and nothing useful comes in that mailbox anymore.
Anyone have an idea on how to stop ONLY .mac emails?? but not affect me.com or icloud.com since they are all tied together?

It's a snap. Each device has its own name. If iTunes does not assign unique names for the two iPods, change one of the names yourself. You can see both my iPad and my iPod simultaneously on my iTunes because I sync wirelessly.
Simply configure the sync characteristics for each device separately. The iTunes software will know the one with which it's communicating.
