Where can I find Spanish punctuation, like upside down question marks, n-yays etc.?

¿? - Go to System Preferences International. Click on Input Menu tab.
Check the box to +Show input menu in menu bar+, so you have easy access going forward.
Check the box for Keyboard Viewer.
Check the box for Spanish.
Go up to the menu to the Input Menu (looks like a flag). Select +Show Keyboard Viewer+. A keyboard representation should appear on screen. Then select Spanish from the same menu. You are now using the Spanish keyboard. The Keyboard Viewer should show the character mapping for Spanish.
For example, holding down the Shift key will show that Shift-comma is the up-side-down question mark. The Option modifier key (used with or without the Shift key) shows additional symbols. Just use the Keyboard Viewer to see how to get the symbols on your real keyboard.

Language Pack installation error

Getting an error while trying to install ServerLanguagePack_SP2_es-es.exe:
" La configuracion de Language Pack for SharePoint, Proejct Server and Office Web Apps 2010 - Spanish/Espanol no ha finalizado correctament.
Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network or CD-ROM drive."
I'm installing from a download of the exe, and the network is fine.
Any recommendations?

Problems launching Object Manager and Array Manager in SSGD 4.20.983

Hi,
I have just installed SSGD 4.20.983 in a server which is running Solaris 10. The language of this server is Spanish.
When I access to the webtop, I 'm not be able to launch the applications Object Manager and Array Manager.
When I try to launch them, in the details box appears "Contrase�a" and them the timeout expires. Contrase�a is the same that password in Spanish.
Anyone can help me?

Do you have any logfiles which look like : execpePID_error.log?
These files should contain more information.

DVD to iPod - selecting DVD language track?

I just successfully (sort of) got my first DVD ripped onto my iPod, using DVD Decrypter and Videora. The video looks great, BUT, the dialog is in spanish?!?! I didn't even know this DVD had a spanish language track.
The VOB files all play in english but after I run them throug Videora the resulting MP4 is in spanish.
Anyone know of a way to select which audio track Videora uses?

The best thing to do, in your setup, is to get rid of all the extra audio streams, subtitles, etc during the DVD Decrypter process.
In DVD Decrypter, click on the "Stream processing" tab and then deselect everything except for the very first Video and First Audio channels listed. That will leave you just the English audio and NTSC video. (Note, that's if you have a US NTSC DVD).
All the various channels are labeled in the Stream processing window, so you can choose what you want. If you want the Spanish audio - just get rid of the English.
You ideally want to have just the one video and one audio when you put it through Videora

It's Spanish; E stands for Español, which is how the Spanish refer to their own language. An English part doesn't have a language code.

I'm certain that there are Spanish dictionaries and thesauri available for Word. I believe that they even come standard with the installation disc and that you can choose to install them. But best to go to the Word experts, I think.

Anyone know anything about MBAs with Spanish keyboards?

I'm based in Manila, Philippines. Imagine our surprise, when we bought an MBA still sealed in its box, to discover the documentation all in Spanish, and the keyboard is physically different - different layout, different key assignments stenciled onto the keys, different Enter key. It's not just a matter of changing keyboard layouts in Sys Prefs. Didn't even know there were such things. Trying to get it exchanged for a regular English unit, but so far no good.
Does anyone know anything about this variant of the MBA? Been looking around the net and there doesn't seem to be anything about it at all.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Sorry if you already know this, or if it's not what you are looking for - but in Lion you can click and hold a letter to get an accent. (This replaces the former behavior of repeating the letter.)
