Spanish Language Installation in 4.6C

Dear All,
We have installed spanish language in our sap R/3 4.6C system in addition to english and german.
We are facing an issue regarding that. We used supplement language as English. So, when we tried to fill the gaps using report RSTLAN_SUPPLEMENT_UNI, it gets filled with english, for spanish logon language. But we need that english text to be translated. This is happening only for customized texts and not for sap standard texts.
Could any one please sugges how to go on with translation after being supplemented with english for my spanish installation.

Don't change SAPR3 Password. because this is SAPSCHEEMA User.
May I know previously had you gave any passwords while installing ORACLE 9i and also check Oracle database installation directry path.
I think u gave wrong installation path given while installation
May i know previously have installed oracle (i mean oracle 8i,9i or 10g)before SAP
and one more conformation what is the kernel version of R/3 4.6c, if it is 620 kernel oracle 9i won't support

Mexico: Language Installation

This might seem like a silly questions, but for those with Mexican companies, or operations in Mexico, what language did you install? I installed Spanish and received a comment from the user in Mexico, who's helping me test, that the Spanish in Mexico is a different dialect than the Spanish language installation, and that for her, using English is easier.
There's not a Mexican version of the Spanish language that can be installed for SAP is there?

Well - especially for Spanish the differences can be pretty significant (e. g. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_dialects_and_varieties) across the world.
Thats correct theres still a lot of dialects still widely spoken in Spain, The Spanish that is used as a standard and was inherit by people in the Americas (Mexico Included) is called "Castellano"...

Calendar control with spanish language

Hi Experts
When use the calendar control with spanish language, two days has wrong the initial letter for the day. With English the calendar works fine.
Sunday = Domingo
Monday = Lunes
Tuesday = Martes (Dispaly the letter "J" when have to be "M")
Wensday = Miercoles
Thursday = Jueves
Friday = Viernes
Saturday = Sabado (Dispaly the letter "D" when have to be "S")
Where can we change this letters????

Julio Valenzuela please make sure that you are using the correct language serial number with the correct language installation files. I would recommend using the same installation files you used to install on the first computer.

Error in HUMO transaction only in Spanish language?

Hi friends,
in transaction HUMO, if I use selection parameter 'System status', to be more precise, if I give it the value 'I0517' (LOCK) and I enter a Handling Unit which has this status, the report finds this HU.
Nevertheless, if I logon in Spanish language, the same selection does not find any HU. In this case, the 'System status' is 'I0517' (BLQU).
OSS note 1851136 is already applied and the same error still occurs.

Pls check in Tcode OMJJ - Allowed Transactions for Mtype - 349- whether HUMO transaction was included in the allowed transaction?

Spanish language description for material master

HI SAP Gurus,
can anybody please clairfy this thing for me. we have a material despcription in english in the material master. If we add ES language in the additional data screen what should be the description. Does the system pick automatically? Or the users have to provide it? Or can it be the same as english description with the just the language key as ES.
For example
EN - Seal cap
ES - Seal Cap

Hi Anusha,
SAP provides option to maintain description in diff. languages so people from diff. places can read the description in their language.
There is nothing stopping you from maintaining the description in english for all lang. keys, but i am sure it would make very little sense.
So if you wish to maintain in spanish language, login in using spanish & then maintain the description.

They are no longer listed in the new format channel guide. They used to be.
I just ordered the "Spanish Language package", but cannot tell what I bought!
Only thing I now find under "Plans" is this:
Spanish Language
27 of the most popular channels like Univision and Galavision
Best news, sports and entertainment from several Spanish-speaking countries
but Univision and Galavision already come with the Premier package.
Now that I say that, I don't see "Premier Package" anymore, either.It's on my bill!
Ok, postpone that for now, current question is: what 27 extra spanish language channels do I no get for my $11.99?

Two different spanish languages?

I've installed Oracle Portal 10g and i've selected English and Spanish as Supported Languages.
But Spanish is installed together with Latin American Spanish, and they are installed as DIFFERENT languages.
The problem is that the content contributors of my portal have different regional configurations in their computers. Some have Spanish, other Spanish(Chile), and other have Spanish(Argentina), Mexico, etc.
When they have a defined territory (country) they publish content in LatinAmerican Spanish.
When they do not have a territory they publish content in Spanish.
And, you know, content in a language is not displayed when another language is selected (and spanish is different from latin american spanish)
How can I force the users to use one of the spanish languages regardless of the browser configuration?
If anyone know how can I do this, please tell me how ... is urgent.

the Catalan locale will be added to the forthcoming IGS 7.00 patch, see note 1105634.
If you use IGS 6.40 you have to install patch 20.

Spanish language include the Ñ in ipod library

this is my problem the spanish language include the Ñ on mi ipod's library but i dont have any artist with Ñ in the beginning and in the O are the ones of the P and in Q the ones of P in that way to Z
I think this is an iOS problem I have 4.3.2 on my ipod touch 4G 64GB because I change the language to English and it is ok an I try with other language that includes the Ñ on his alphabet an try portugues and all my artist are okay

Spanish Language Programming

Where does a person or people add sugestions to improve the service? Like if Verizon wants to attract more Spanish speaking customers, they need to improve their line up. Many channels on DTV are not available with FIOS. Sur Peru being one of them. I think there is a big market share that Verizon is missing. If they would only improve the number of channels. Perhaps if they could offer a rebroadcast of some of the network channels from South America. Many of these are available on C-Band dishes, but most people can not put these huge dishes in their yards. I am sure that the these networks would not mind expanding their coverage, and FIOS does have huge amounts of digital bandwidth if they provide four plus per QAM for standard bradcasts..

You are subscribing to Verizon's lowest tier, you aren't going to ever get more than a token few spanish channels and that is not going to change. You should be subscribing to FiOS TV Mundo or the Spanish Language Package.

How can I reload spanish language in the smartphone ?

Setting my new blackberry 8900, unfortunately, I have deleted the spanish language in the Smartphone.
Now, I'd like reload it from Blackberry desktop manager.
Then, after use Application Loader (selecting spanish language) to reload tha spanish language, the spanish language doesn't appear in the Blackberry.
Someone can tell me what can I do?

Entering Spanish Language Characters

Hi,
I'm working on a Spanish language site. I do not speak spanish. There is a ton of copy that was scanned in and most of the diacriticals are wrong or missing. Is there a menu I can bring up that will quickly show me the spanish characters I need? I did a quick search and there was much talk about installing a spanish language -keyboard- in Windows. But isn't there a way to show the code #s for these chars without doing that?

The text options in the insert panel, for instance. You can also use copy&paste from Windows' Charmap utility...

I am using the STRUTS Framework 1.1 for developing web application.
My objects:
Buyer{

String scompanyAddress;
Supplier{

I created 2 ArrayList Buyer and Supplier and put them to the ComBox. One Buyer has many Supplier when you select any Buyer....
If you select Supplier then the sub info of this Supplier will be displayed in below. As this action, I have selected many many Supplier for see sub info (Address, Employee...) many time.
When the action submit to Server then I see the Buyer info also change when display because Company Name and Company Address are the Spanish language.

Address: Carretera de LHospitalet, n� 11, Nave 1, 08940 Cornell� de Llobregat (Barcelona)

We have 2 string very long in results when I select many many time and browser too slow and hang if the are to long. That problem only happen with the Spanish language, in other languages are not, It works good.
Please help me to solve these above problems, I have tried to add code in JSP page

Well... Are you sure that the problem is within the browser? If both browser hang, then check if your OS supports the language the right way. Also, your browsers my have plugins/addons for supporting other languages. Try to look for them or/and post your systems-names here to help others helping you =).

Hi All,
Does anyone have experience of knowledge of having multiple language installations of the same version i.e. both cs6 indesign.
For example having English, French and ME installed, deactivating and activating according to need.

Multiple language installer for Adobe Reader

I need a compressed multiple language installer for Adobe Reader to install with my software. Is one available?

When we requested a license to distribute the multi-language version of Adobe Reader with our software, we recieved the following link to a download:

When you click on the link, you get a single file (AdbeRdr11006_en_US.exe). This is an installation for english only. I am looking for a single .exe file for a multi-language installation.
The link you provided above is to a .zip file that must be extracted and then run. This requires additional steps in our installation process. We were hoping you have a single installation file to prevent these additional steps.
