Spawning bookmarks in iPad need to be deleted by hundreds

I have a huge amount of duplicate bookmarks...too many to remove one by one, and they seem to be in large groups. How can I sort alphabetically and delete large amounts in bulk? Probably these are being spawned by iCloud, and thats a separate issue. Thanks for any help! Its a mess!

Hi Harish,
Using a BAPI would basically mean a new development. I was looking for an option where SAP wld have provided some way to handle this without any new development. Utility DELETE_PP_ORDER fails in 000 otherwsie it was a good option.
I will try your suggestion or would go ahead for the new utility development through BAPI_POSRVAPS_REMOVEITEMS.

If you backup to itunes the backup will contain, amongst other things:
Safari bookmarks, cookies, history, offline data, and currently open pages.

They will be backed up only until you backup again. iCloud is not a storage drive in the sky, it is a backup service only. If you delete the photos and videos from the camera roll, and then you backup the iPad with iCloud, you will overwrite that backup and the photos will be gone.
Import the photos to your computer if they are that important to you. iCloud is for backup only, not a storage place that you can download your photos from again once you overwrite that backup.

I told you, I can't restore iOS. In order to restore my iPad, I need to update it to iOS 7.0.4, but my iPad needs available space to update, but I don't have any. duzie.... I'm sorry we weren't able to get this resolved. I'm guessing that one day, for whatever mysterious reason, it will begin working again for you. You are following the proper steps to delete bookmarks.
I just wanted to follow up on databases in Safari. When you log onto certain sites - for instance - the iPad user guide via the Safari bookmark - a database will be installed on your iPad from that site. If you have any databases in Safari you will see them under Accept Cookies in the Safari settings.

I had to restart my computer and was asked to upgrade to 6.0.2. I now have no past history or old bookmarks. I needed the history and bookmarks for a project I was working on and now they are gone. I'm #?*! pissed. How do I get them back?

I restarted my computer. After it rebooted I was asked to update firefox I did and it updated to 3.0 or something and it said update complete but it is out of date would you like to update to 6.0.2. I did and it updated again. When I got back online, I had no history or old bookmarks. I have all my Mail in One of my accounts (work)....but not all the Mail in the other account (aka my Music account).....
Both I've set up again..using your advice...and changed both now to IMAP..
Originally after refreshing my laptop, when I set up Thunderbird....I used the POP settings.....and that's when I messed it up.....
but using IMAP now....I've gotten more of my old emails .....in my INBOX.....not all.....but most....YIPPIE
My SENT emails....in my Music account.....have all disappeared.......I've looked in both sent folders...in POP...and IMAP....and nothing is there...
However my sent folder of my work account...I have SOME of the sent emails...
Address books....Collected and Personal folders.....I have NO Email Addresses at all.
Sooo now even though I am getting confident we will solve it.....I still have 4 accounts....aka...2 Work (POP and IMAP).....2 Music (POP and IMAP) until you tell me to delete or change one from each.....
BOTH IMAP accounts.....do not show new messages...when they come in....however the POP shows it.....I did read that If I deleted the POP to change to IMAP I will not be able to get emails.....sooo not sure what to do about that issue now....
Is there an "automatic" backup feature for Thunderbird...?? All this could have been soo prevented if I did that....sheesh...

If you want to have multiple albums on the iPad, then you need to select all the folders that you want and sync them together - therefore they must all be directly off the same parent folder. Not including a folder in the sync is the way that you delete an album (folder) from the iPad - as you've found out.

Music on iPad can't be deleted

Hi.
After disabling all Music Playlists in iTunes, I started a sync and expected the iPad to have 0 Songs. However there were still 7 songs on the iPad.
I cannot delete them by right-left sweep, which usually shows the red Delete button.
Also, Settings > General > Usage > Music > right-left sweep shows the Delete button, but the Music is not deleted.
Why is all that?
How can I get rid of these 7 songs?
2 of the songs are purchased.
5 are from my MP3 archive.

If you have content from both accounts on the iPad then the only way to remove one of them is to remove all of that account's content from the iPad - content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it.

Yes, you would sign out of iTunes & App Store: Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on the Apple ID, click on Sign Out. Then sign back on with the new Apple ID. Also, if you have an iCloud account with the other Apple ID, you would delete that iCloud account, and then sign on with your new ID: Settings>iCloud>Delete Account.

Appreciate suggestions.
[The curious thing is, if I "move" the deleted emails from Trash on my iPad Mini into the Inbox, I can go to my notebook, open my online email and they are back in my ATT/Yahoo Inbox.]
