Spdif connection to 3 pin header (KM2M)

I can't find a back plane fitting for this. The manual shows a connection for two of the three pins only (VCC & SPDIF (pin 3 nc)). I want to assume that one of the connections is a ground as I can make a back panel connector with a grounded RCA jack but I can't find a specification anywhere. Does anybody know the actual specification?

Nothing to do with overclocking or modding.
The S-bracket comes with my 875 Neo-Fis2R mobo as standard. What I want to know is whether there should be any 'red' light at the end of the optical cable when the optical cable is plugged into the S-bracket (and of course the S-bracket is connected to the mobo). I remembered that it should be this way but currently, there is no 'red' light for my case and even though I had managed to get a replacement S-bracket, still same problem. I had tried with another optical cable which was confirmed good (from my Hifi amplifier) but also no 'red' light when plugged into the S-bracket.

SPDIF connection with GTX 275 Thinkstation S20

The SPDIF connector from GTX 275 graphics card needs to be connected to ground pins in Mother board of S20.
Where are the ground pins in S20 motherboard located?

the S20 doesn't have an S/PDIF header on the motherboard. you'll either have to use one of the existing external S/PDIF sockets (digital RCA and optical TOSLINK) on the back of the system for audio output or purchase a sound card with internal S/PDIF output.

The text on the home page and profile page is the size of a pin head

the size of the text on my profile and home page is the size of a pin head. I have restored my computer to an earlier date but that did not fix it. I bumped a key with my left hand and the page shrunk to the size of a bandaid going down the center of the page. I can see the games and read my messages from game pages but cannot see a thing on the home or profile page. Please help...thanks

Pin Header and Footer

I need to pin the header to the top of the broser and the footer to the bottom of the browser, and I want the body contend to be on the bakground.
If I do this on a Master page and preview it (defining the footer and the hader on the top of the contend it works fine.)
But if I do a master page defining the pin on the footer and the header and sending this 2 item to the top with no condend and then aplly this master page to pages I already have.
All the contend will be in front of the header and the footer!
Can I fix this?

Making masters with pinned header areas appear on top layer

Hi
Using Muse v3
I am utilising master pages to make the header and navigation items for more efficient workflow.
When I then create a page and apply the master to it, the main content of the page (which is scrollable) appears on top of the pinned header element from the master.
I want it to scroll but be obscured behind the header.
How do I do that please, Am i missing something simple?

Hello,
The master page content is always placed in the background in Muse and we cannot change it's layer to bring it on top of other content on the pages.
In this case you might have to place this content separately on all the pages and remove it from master page. You can select the content and copy and paste (Paste inplace) them on all the pages.

I would like to pin header and have content in body go underneath the header

Is this possible to do in muse? Currently the way that I have it set up all of the content is scrolling on top of the content? What do I need to do for the pinned header content to go behind? Thanks

Hello,
For this, create another layer in the layers panel and place it on top of the other layers. Then right click on the Pinned Header and place it in the layer which is at the top.
This way the Pinned header will stay on top and content will scroll behind it.

Nx8500gt mtd256eh spdif connection

I installed my card today HDMI looks good!!
The problem is with the audio.
I have an Asus M2NPV-VM mobo, it has three pins on the SPDIF socket (+5v, SPDIF_OUT and GRN).
I Connected the red lead to SPDIF_OUT and the black to GRN but didn't get any sound.
Am I connecting the leads properly?

I have also tried reversing the two leads; the red is now on GRN and the black lead is on SPDIF_OUT, but still no joy.
I don't want to experiment with the +5v as it will most likely damage my Graphic Card/Mobo.
I have the sound routed through my HiFi at the moment so I'll persevere with that for now.
Is there anything in the BIOS to enable, the isn't any extra playback devices in the Sound Properties Applet.
Any clues would be appreciated.

Audigy 2 ZS spdif connected to reciever only gives bad and lousy sound

I have connected my Audigy 2 ZS to my Pioneer home surround reciever.
I have used a 3.5mm pin to connect a RCA cable to my spdif out on my card and connected this to my coax digital input on my pioneer.
I have the latest driver
But the sound in my home stereo is only bad, lousy and tubelike.
No extre effects do I use, and everything else (DVD, Pocorn hour and CD player) connected to my pioneer sounds crystal clear and really good, but not the music from my computer. (Tried differend kind of mediaplayers)
So, my question is why is it so? Should I get perfect stereosound from this setup in my home stereo?
Have I done something wrong setting this up?
Very greatful for any help because I have reached the end of the road here...

Hi all.
On my K7N board it has a three pin connection for SPDIF out. But I've been given a bracket that has the 11 pin connection.
Does anyone have anything that tells me what each wire is on the 11 pin connection? The 3 pins on mb are VCCS, SPDIF0 and GND.

HT5569 I am having trouble connecting to my wifi. I put in the password (the correct password) and it tells me that it is the wrong password. I just purchased this iPad and cannot seem to get connected. My laptop connects with a pin not a password.

I just bought a iPad and am trying to set it up. I have WiFi at my home but cannot get on with my iPad. My laptop asks for a pin number to join and the iPad asks for a password. I enter the correct password and it tells me that it is incorrect. I have talked to my WiFi carrier and they tell me that they do not know what it could be. Can someone please help me figure this out.

connectng with a pin # will not work with the ipad. you need to find out exactly what the actual wifi password is.
pin and push buttons are used by wifi protected setup. which is an optional feture of WPA
here are some ideas
go to the routers home page (typically 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254) and see if you can click on "show password"
get the manual out, it should have the default user name and password you may need to access the routers page
if your windows computer connects, then you should be able to right click the wifi connection and click on show password as well. this is somewhere in the properties page of the wifi connection
also with windows its a good idea to click on "save wifi connection to usb drive" this can be used to connect other windows computers and xbox game consoles as well
if your laptop computer is a mac book you can go to the keychain or icloud keycahin and reveal the actual passowrd as well.
look at the actual router it might have directions on a sticker on how to access the routers configuration pages
if you enter the wrong password on the ipad you need to forget the network and try again

Just got this new soundsystem for my laptop but i have a problem, my laptop unly has the SPDIF audio out connection and my sound system has 3 different connectors. Hi Biles, Firstly Have you got a free usb port? If so get yourself a "Creative Sound Blaster Live 24bit". Your minimum system requirements need to be....intel PIII or Celeron class 800MHz or faster processor, MicroSoft Windows xp(sp) or 2000(sp4),128mb ram, 340mb hard Disk space, Available USB. port, CD/DVDrom drive required for software installation ,ok so far , this may or maynot cure your problem,but....... I just bought the same system my self finding only half of my speakers were working. Istarted checking on the cheapest remidy "External soundcard" plugs in play you get a cd installation disk for all other needs (sound adjustments,speaker setups ect) but again hope this helps.

It isn't a bug. It is a limitation of mobile browsers. Pinning isn't supported by mobile devices.
However you are in luck as Muse has built in another way to do it. Use the scroll effects instead and set the values to 0 which essentially does the same thing as pinning.

Connect wireless clients / PIN

I am trying to add a wireless client to my network and am following the instructions on the following linked Web site:

I want to allow a client access to my network using the PIN method.
When I try to enter a number in the PIN field, I am unable to type anything in the field. The cursor is in the field and blinking, but when I type, no characters are entered.
How can I solve this problem?

I appreciate the responses to this thread, but I am still experiencing my issue. Here is a more detailed breakdown of the issue
Problem Statement: After installing the Linksys product, all clients are able to access the Internet, but not all clients can "see" each other.
Clients consist of 1 Dell Desktop PC running Windows Vista and two laptops (one Dell and one Compaq/HP both running XP PRO).
I am able to ping from the Vista machine to the XP/Dell, but not in the other direction.
I have enabled sharing on all systems but still cannot map to the printer connected to the Vista machine.
I have created a workgroup and can see the XP laptop (I haven't joined the HP laptop to the WG yet) from the Vista machine, but cannot see the Vista machine from the laptop.
All sharing worked fine when I was running the previous wireless setup (2WIRE SBC/YAHOO DSL modem). I did not have to go to the extent of creating a workgroup and a "network," the machines were able to communicate fine.
I am inclined to believe the issue lies with the router, but Linksys disagrees. The router itself seems to be working correctly and I have been assured by Linksys Tech Support that there are no settings on the router that would prevent clients from seeing (pinging) one another.

Spdif connection on 295GTX

Ok everyone, i think i'm going crazy... i've been building pc's for years and this is a first for me
so has anyone here had success using the hmdi connection to send audio to a tv?
i connected the spdif cable from mobo to the 295gtx and set spdif as the primary audio in windows (home premium 64-bit)
i always thought dvi couldn't carry audio, so even with the dvi to hdmi converter, maybe it just isnt possible?
