SPDIF input does not w

I am trying to record music from SONY MDS-E0 pro mini disc player to PC using Creative Wave Editor. When i connected?one coax cable MD -->?[color="#ff0000"]Out Creative Audigy2 Platinum --> [color="#ff0033">IN nothing happen. I can't hear a sound in my headphones. Of cause everything?s works when analog input is in use.
Am i missing something?s.

Have you already enabled that S/PDIF source port in Surround Mixer (or Windows Play Controls). Also, for recording S/PDIF input, you need to select the recording source properly (S/PDIF, and perhaps also set the recording samplerate equal w/ source samplerate (maybe it's 48 kHz in this case)). Also, you can use the bit-accurate recording feature for digital sources.
There are some more possible settings/methods you can use but lets try above st.

I have the same problem with the touch screen not working. but only some parts of the screen is not able to respond to my touch.
i am able to select some icons but not others. for example when i turn the phone to on its longest side and using the keyboard to type a sms the length of keys "e" "d" and "c".
there are other parts of the touch screen that dont work.
is this a hardware problem or software.
taking the battery out does not help.

Optical digital audio input does not work

Hi all,
I am trying to record some of my old DCC cassettes onto my imac, however, for some reason the optical digital input does not work.
I have searched everywhere, tried all settings in audio/midi setup.
I did notice that when I connect the digital cable to the output, the build in audio automatically recognizes it, and switches to 'digital output'.
Analog input does work fine. I am running a 3.06 GHz intel core 2 duo with mac os 10.6.8. Digital cables are fine too (can play on my receiver).

I share your frustration. I record audio tracks into logic using digital optical recording desks.

I had the same issue. Initially i thought i need to take it to apple for replacing the aux port. But luckily I was able to fix it by resetting the PRAM . To reset the PRAM
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Immediately press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.Continue holding the keys down until the computer restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Use System Preferences to restore your settings.
You can try this before you take to apple store. It may work if you are lucky. Good luck

Create batch input, does not include all records

Have anyone experienced, when doing Create Batch Input from the LSMW menu it does not include all rows.
For example I have a .txt file with 3000 records that I specify in "Specify Files"
"Read Data" reads 3000 records.
"Convert Data" Converts 3000 records
"Create Batch input Sessions" creates 2461 records? ?
I have noticed that this happen when the system is busy running many batches and Idocs.

I'm talking about LSMW programs with regular Batch input Recording.
I haven't noticed which transactions it skips since I do not run the Batch, when I notice that it does not include all rows as I have read and converted.
However usually if I "Create the batch input session" once again it includes all the records from the conversion before.
But since Create a batch input can take a long time depending on the amount of transactions it creates this is not a desired option.
So it is not possible that the transactions it does not create are errors since its possible to run them successfully. And I haven't used any SKIP TRANSACTION in the mapping step.
But like I said this only happens when the system is running many batches / idocs at the moment, for example if we are loading the material master at the same time as I run my batch input programs.

5112 trig input does not function after selfcalibration ?

After starting the selfcalibration on 5112, the Trig input seems not to function as before.
This occurred after installation of a new driver "NI-SCOPE 2.90"
Driver: NI-SCOPE 2.90, Model: NI PXI-5112, Compiler: MSVC 7.10, Engine: IVI 2.04, Compiler: MSVC 7.10, Components: VISA-Spec 3.00
Can i revert to factory default ?

Correction !!
This behavior was not caused by the driver installation but the trigger input has an 500mV accuracy.
My signal was smaller then 500mVtt so the self calibration calibrated
the levels of the trigger input somewhat different and my triggering
was lost.
Thats why my conclusion was wrong!!

Mini 110, dc input does not seem to make a secure connection to the male end of the power adapter.

the plug does make contact when plugged in fully but the sligtest movement disconnects the adapter. It does not make connection till pressedin again. The end on the first plug in adapter that came with the netbook came out of the plastic at a slight angle and would not make connection unless the right angle was pointed down so that the high part of the plastic around the plug would be towards the bottom of the computers rounded side. HP sent me a new adapter plug that was straight and it does make contact with the plug in any position but the contact is not very postive. Since my net book is still under warrnanty I would like to know if this is just the way it is or if my internal connection is not correct. the pin inside the internal plug is tight and does not wiggle at all.

The 192.168 prefix suggests that you are on a home network. It is possible you're internal IP address changed from 1 to 2 (or whatever). Buried in the db_1 folders is that folder you mentioned. I made a copy of it named localhost and then everything worked.

Text entry boxes in CP6 - Enter key to validate input does not work in Safari?

I'm using Captivate 6 to create a step by step walkthrough of some different processes that are commonly completed in my workplace. Some of the example processes have portions where text is entered to simulate a process the end user might need. I have text entry boxes in these slides that require validation of the input to move along, with Enter used as a shortcut key. This works great in Firefox, Chrome and IE all the way down to 8....but if the course is run in Safari, the enter key does nothing. Is this a known issue?
Additional info: For many of these text entry boxes, the point is that it is a search field that has a little binoculars icon next to it that executes the search in the actual software we are simulating. For these slides I actually have the submit button associated with the text box made invisible (no fill, no stroke) and placed on top of the binoculars icon. This is an acceptable method of doing the task we're demonstrating, and just so happens to be a workaround for the enter key not working in Safari. However, a few places we have text entry that doesn't have the search/binocular icon next to it because there is a different goal on that section of the software we're visualizing. In those cases, there is no place for me to put an invisible submit button, and I can't make the submit button visible because that's not how the software we're demonstrating would work (thus defeating the purpose of the training).

For now, the only solution is to use a different keyboard when using Firefox.

Input does not take any manual entry

hi interface masters,
i have a screen field where i have f4 values attached to this field.
now when the user wants to enter anything manually or when he tries to enter somthing on the input screen the screen should not allow him or write nothing on the screen.
how can i make this in the attributes?

Css to style text input does not work

I have a very simple form which contains one text field.

In the real code of course I have a proper style sheet instead of embedding 'style' in the input, but doesn't matter how I tried, the text field sticks to '161px'. I searched for text '161px' in all css files only found it under emulator.css padding, which is of course not used in my case.
I tried in a plain html and the above code works. I know that this input style is defined somewhere in the hirachy which I was not able to override, any idea how to overide CQ's input style?

In CQ you just need to include form component and inside the form add text component. When you double click text component it will provide you with the option to add styling and specify width. Which takes precendence. Not sure why you building the entire html page.

Input does not work when not focusing the desired track

Sitting and working on a track here pretty much for the first time in logic X. I work with much outboard gear so I always send channels out and back into an input.
The input channel which comes from the outboard gear now gets muted if I do not focus the track in the mixer or the working area, and yes the input is marked on.
Anyone know anything about this?

You need to make sure that it also returns true during the apply request values phase of the next request and thus not only during the render response phase of the initial request.

File input does not show up the result in OWL

Dear experts,
In the training material in chapter 3 step 9 there was a part talking about file input.
It works perfectly until I checked the WoC. There is no result showing up in the work center although in execution details there was a green dot and no errors.
Has anyone had similar issue? Where should I check to ensure that the mass data run works properly?

Here's what i'm currently working through now - if i have a single file with this structure in Unprocessed Files, and execute the run, it does work.
However, if i upload two files and run them both at the same time, it either takes a lot longer to process, or sometimes nothing happens. Both files work individually, but it seems very intermittent when processed together.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
As your microphone is not working with Skype, you should first follow through the steps in the document Resolving Microphone and Line-in Problems (Windows 7). This will make sure that the hardware is working properly.
If the hardware is working, and you are able to use the mic in a different program, the issue is most likely with Skype. I have also included a link to How do I adjust the sound settings on my computer and in Skype for Windows 7?.
Please let me know the outcome of the troubleshooting steps.

PHOTOSHOP 2014 Text input does not give me a live type layer. It gives me a selection of the type outline. Is this a bug?

It isn't 100% of the time, but when I use the Type tool and leave the tool, I am left with a selection of the type outline.
What is going on?

Keyboard input - does not work!

I am trying to handle keyboard events in my Java Game based on Applet. Whatever I do, I can't catch them. I already tried to add listeners, tried to enable events via enableEvents(KEY_EVENT_MASK) and then process events via processKeyEvent(KeyEvent e), but still no luck.
What I noticed: If I add a control, say, JButton, then my handler starts to receive that events! But I don't need any control. I just want to receive one small key event. Isn't that so simple?
Please help, I am so tired of it...

Maybe you could post some code here, it would be easier to spot the problem.
Maybe you could try to add a JPanel to your applet, and then do a requestFocus() ans requestFocusInWindow() to that. Then you can try to add the listeners:
