Speaker phone and main menu

I noticed to that if I am on the phone I can go back to the main menu perfectly and tool around on the phone when on hold for example
But I also noticed that this will not work for speaker phone...So you cant text while on speaker phone, but you can while without speaker phone, one would think the reverse would be more practical
Can anyone else confirm this?

My wife's iphone 4 also has your same no ring problem as does my iphone 5 just less often. I called her iphone 4 at home from where I work 20 miles away on my iphone 5. With her phone in 3G mode ONE call went through and 9 went to voice mail in 10 tries. This is a 10% sucess rate!! I also could listen in real time from the wired work phone and the wired home phone. She turned off 3G mode and it went to "O" mode at the top left of the screen after the ATT. In this mode it rang on the first ring tone 5 times out of 5 tries which is 100% of the time. I have learned that the calling party will hear up to 4 ring tones when placing a call on the ATT network. If the ring tone changes volume slightly before the 4th ring then and only then will the cell phone start to ring. If the ring tone does not change after the 4th ring you get voice mail. If the calling party does not leave a voice message there is never a missed call displayed on the iphone. If the calling party does leave a voice message a few minutes later the iphone dings for arriving voice mail but still no missed call indication.
This appears to be related to the time of day and the ATT tower that the receiving caller is using. Tried other towers and it works in 3G mode 10 times out of 10 tries. Apple replaced the first iphone 4 with a new phone, no improvement. ATT replaced the SIM card and no improvement. ATT so far is clue less. This has been going on every since we got the new iphones which is 4 months. The ATT web site also describes this same problem from several years ago. Has anyone got better information?

Unable to view A/R Invoice form and Main menu

Dear Experts,
I am using 2007 A pl 30. I did allocate the manager for the Professional User, SAP Addons, SDK Tools. When i try to open the A/R invoice form, it is not showing on screen but then it is available in the window drop down menu. Also, the main menu is not showing. The other forms are viewable.

Click on A/R Invoice and Select Windows - Cascade to bring the screen down to normal.

Chapters and Main Menu

Hi, I created my whole video but I can't figure out how to insert chapters into my video. I am using iMovie '08 and I can't even find it in the help menu. Also, how do I add a main menu where you can select play, or select chapters.

Chaptering has been moved to GarageBand along with the "Send to iDVD" routine. Export from iMovie '08 to the video format you want to be sent to iDVD. Then create/open a GarageBand project and load your iMovie '08 exported clip. Chapter your movie, perform your final audio mixes (audio was converted AIFF when opened in Garageband), and "Send" the file to iDVD. Send option will place original Video track, original Audio Track (turned off), the AIFF Audio mix track (turned on), and the Chapter text track into an MOV container andtransfer it to iDVD which will automatically open, create your main movie menu, and create your "Chapter" sub-menu(s) (if that preference is set) in the currently defaulted theme.

Speaker phone and they can't hear

Recently it started doing this. When I put it on speaker phone then the person the other person can't hear.

Did something happen to your phone prior to this? When was the last time you've updated your phone's software and system apps? Here are some troubleshooting steps that you may try:
Check that your microphone is not muted. Also, restarting your phone could resolve the issue. To do that, hold the Power andVolume Down keys simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Release and the phone will restart.
Check that the microphone opening is not blocked. To find the microphone opening, refer to your phone user guide.
Move to a quieter area.
Set your phone to loudspeaker mode, or try a wired headset that has a microphone.
Check if the issue is with a specific number on outgoing or incoming calls.
Use the volume keys to adjust the volume.
Test your phone's microphone and speakers with the pre-installed voice recorder. To record a clip, go to Messaging > New (+)> Attach and tap voice note. Record an audio clip, and play the recording. If you can hear the recording, your microphone is ok.

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Opera browser and main menu access in an e72

How do I get access to my opera browser through the main menu application bar

The Mac has a bunch of built in shortcuts for standard functions that work directly. They show up on the right side of the menu, such as cmd-Q for quit.
In a more general way there's a keyboard combination for switching the keyboard focus to the menubar, control-F2 by default (see Keyboard and Mouse in System Preferences). From there, use arrow keys to get around, or jjust type the first few letters of a menu name to go to that menu, space to open it, and repeat to activate submenus or to select an item.

My Lr5.7.1 doesn't recognize my Epson XP-760 printer and after customising the printout in the Print Module the Print options (lower right AND Main Menu Archive Print) are disabled

I am running Lr5.7.1 on an iMac Retina 5K (OS X Yosemite 10.10.1). My printer (Epson XP-760) works fine with all other applications but not with Lr!!! After selecting my printout preferences in the Print Module it works if I select Print File and save it to the desktop and then take it up as a Preview and print it from there. This is not what I want. I expect that the Print button (low right corner) should be abled rather than disabled and send to printer directly from within Lr's Print Module. It doesn't matter if the printer is on Wi-Fi or USB (or even both).
What is the problem? What else can or should I do to make it work as I expect?

I have updated Yosemite to 10.10.2 and my problems remain. Reading About Lightroom 5.7.1, the pop-up window doesn't specifically say 5.7.1 and there is no choice to select More details (I can only trust that I am running really 5.7.1). I am sure that I really am Printing to file since this is the only choice I have ever seen enabled in my Lr5.7.1, whereas I have NEVER seen the Print option enabled. I enclose a screen dump (in Swedish) fyi.
So, I am still confused but on a somewhat higher level!

How do I make a main menu for a game?

Hi,
I need to make a main menu for this tower defense game that I am making. I have 2 parts to the menu that I need to put together. I have it as follows:
I have a start screen where the player presses the start button. I now need it to take the user to the main menu itself. I have both the start menu and main menu in the same document but on different layers. I have a button labeled as start which I have set up to where when it is clicked, it changes colors but I also need it to hide/show the menu layer. I just need the that start button to take users to the menu layer where I have 3 more buttons which are resume, new, and options. I will need those buttons to go to their different layers also. After users hit the resume or new buttons, I need the game itself to start which I will start making after I figure out the other issues.
I am new to Flash and I really want to learn how to make tower defense games. For now, I am using http://www.ehow.com/how_7788131_make-tower-defense-game-flash.html as a guide to make the game stuff but it doesn't say anything about a main menu. I am using a trial version of Flash Pro CS6 and it is due to expire in 28 days.

Apparently it wont let me use the same code twice on one timeline. Is there any way around this? I need a few more buttons on the main menu for the game.

Trouble scrolling on the main menu using my dvd player.

I can't seem to move to the scenes button when I'm on the main menu using my DVD player. This function seems to work fine on my computer. Before I burn another (very long) disc and try again, does anyone have any suggestions?

You set it by changing the menu's property for the default button. This is one of the reasons a separate menu is generally used. If you have a single menu with 3 buttons ("play movie," "subtitle on," and "subtitle off"), and you set the default to "Active Subtitle Track," then your "play movie" button won't ever be the default.
To play with this and to decide how you want your disk to work, create a test EN project with 2 menus. Rename one of them "Main Menu" with 2 buttons "Play Movie" and "Subtitle Setup." Rename the second menu "Subtitle Setup" with 3 buttons, "Subtitle On," "Subtitle Off," and "Main Menu." As noted, the "Default Button" property for the menu "Subtitle Setup" will be "Active Subtitle Track." The button "Subtitle On," using specify link, will link to its own menu, default button, but will specify Subtitle 1. Same for the button "Subtitle Off," except that it will specify Subtitle Off. The Main Menu button simply links to the main menu.
Note that in Encore preview, do not use your computer mouse to hover over the buttons. It will trick you into thinking that you have or have not set the behavior correctly. Use the little remote function in the bottom of the preview window.

Having trouble creating an On/Off button for the subtitles on the main menu

I'm creating a DVD with one subtitle track that I'd like to be ON by default but I want users to have the ability to turn them off without the use of the remote. I was thinking of creating a Subtitle on/off button but can't seem to get this to work even though I've read several tutorials. Do I need to create a separate 'set-up' menu with a 'subtitles on' and 'subtitles off' button?

I get no sound for YouTube or music when headphones are out. Speaker phone works fine. It appears to be software issues. Any ideas?

I have an iPhone 4s w/iOS 5.0.1. YouTube and music player do not produce sound w/out headphones being plugged in. The speaker phone and other phone sounds continue to work properly. The volume buttons on the side of the phone do not control volume unless the headphones are plugged in. When you go to 'settings' then 'sounds' and make sure 'change with buttons' is selected, the volume bar will not move with the buttons until I make the volume change on the bar with my finger - then the buttons control the volume bar (but still no sound for YouTube or the music player without the headphones). It appears to be some type of software issue. I have read the post about theap home thinking the headphones are still plugged in, but that would not explain why some sound works and others do not. Any ideas?

From your post I understand you're not getting any audio output from your speakers when you're playing games. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If an audio issue occurs when using a specific application, try testing other applications to see if the issue persists.
If the iPhone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or car kit:
Try turning off Bluetooth.
If you experience difficulties with the Bluetooth feature, follow these troubleshooting steps.
Restart the iPhone.
If restarting doesn't fix the issue, ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS.

Speaker phone to Handset process

My question stems from a problem that we are having when switching from speaker to handset, and handset not picking up immediately. When on the speaker phone, and the handset is taken off-hook, the voice does not transfer, rather it continues to use the speaker. Sometimes when switching from handset to speaker, the phone hangs up. My question is this... Is the switch between the speaker phone and handset a function of the CCM, or is it a function of the phone itself? When I run a trace on a device that switches without problem, i see no difference between that and one that will not switch successfull. Additionally, I am seeing no lines in the trace that have anything to do with the switch. The trace looks exactly the same between all devices regardless of whther or not they work, seemingly indicatling that the switch is a function of the phone.

i dont really know if this has anything todo with the transformation that took place between picking the handset and the change with the speake,in terms of variation btw the speeds of talking in the handset and de-activation in the voice that's coming from the speaker.it actually goes on to say that the switch is a function of the phones itself. upgading of the phones via phone bodies(organization) needs to be implore
