Speaker problem hp620 notebook

Hi! I have an hp620 notebook and i have a problem with my internal speakers. I'm running win7 ultimate. The sound only hears in my left speaker. If i do a sound test, when i press the icons of both speakers, the sound is playbacked only in left speaker. For both speaker icons to be understood. I hope someone can help me because i had a really hard time with this issue. Thank you!

Have you tried the standard fixes:
    - Reset:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore the iPod from backup via iTunes
    - Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.
If still problem you likely have a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Rear speaker problem

Hi, i have 4 speakers and a subwoofer. Mainboard is asrock xtreme4 which come with realtek hd audio.
You may know the famous "rear speaker problem" on windows products. While speaker test just works fine, rear speaker never works on media player, winamp etc...
But recently it become really interesting because, that rear speakers works fine on firefox browser 22.0. So it gave me hope the solve this problem once and for all.
Right now, when i listening any thing on firefox, rear speakers works fine. But not working on Chrome and other stuff.
What firefox 22.0 made to work speakers fine?

hey have you tryed connecting other speakers to the bad connected one and see if it was not a bad channel? if so then let me know and I will look in to this problem more and try my best to get you the answers your looking for ok

  • Solved my scratchy speaker problem. Do a hard reset. Home, sleep button. Hold till screen goes blank.

Had a scratchy speaker problem and strange sounds when ipad shutdown. Hold the home button and sleep button till screen goes blank. Turn on after a minute or two. Fixed it on ipad 4. Good luck.

Apple replaced with new phone under warranty, had to haggle a little to get that done.  Set up new one as a new phone, not from a backup, so as to not transfer any possible software issues to the new one, still re-setting up everything...      all was good for the first week or so, now this one does the same thing, plus a new issue.    While on calls the screen will go black, and the absolute only way to get control of the phone again is to hold both buttons down until the apple logo appears and phone restarts. Additionally, sometimes it will now become unanswerable when receiving a phone call, has only happened on vibrate, but it will go into a continuous vibrating mode and no way to answer the call or stop it, other than the two button restart.  Does it on normal calling, and on 4g lte calling setting (verizon).

  • RE: Speaker problems

I have an iPhone 4S.  I have been having speaker problems for a while now and am slowly realizing when using and doing certain things that my sound is not working.  When I take a video my sound does not work, when I facetime with someone they can't hear me but I can hear them.  When I try and put someone on speaker phone they can't hear me.  I can listen to music and listen to videos from facebook, youtube, etc.  So my question is what could be causing this because I have sound otherwise, I can hear text message sounds, facebook notifications, etc.  Help is appreicated.  Thanks.

    Hi serena36,
This sounds more like a microphone issue that a problem with your speaker. I would suggest using the steps in this article to troubleshoot -

    Hi Rajesh,
    Try the following.
Open windows Control Panel, open Windows Update, select 'View update history' in the left hand pane and then select 'Installed updates' link in the following window.
Locate update KB2962407, right click it and select Uninstall.  When done, restart the notebook, open windows Control Panel, open Windows Update and select 'Check for updates'.  You'll see the update you just uninstalled being offered again - right click and select 'Hide Update'.
When windows has reloaded, you may or may not need to use recovery manager to reinstall your original Audio Driver as detailed in the document on the link below.
    Recovery Manager - Windows 8.

  • Problem with notebook fan!?

Hello, i have bought HP 2000-2b43dx before 15 days and I am sneaking suspicion there is problem wih fan/vent on my notebook.
When I turned my notebook first time, and next 2-3 days, my fan was so silence that i couldnt hear his work so its normal because when I turn notebook there is no hard operations that fan needs to cooling components.
After using my notebook for 3-4 days I noticed that my fan start cooling immediately when i turn notebook and fan is no longer silent like first 2-3 days. So, my fan is always cooling, i can feel and hear it, no matter what i am doing on my notebook. When I closed all my apps, the fan is still cooling for long time. is it normal if I use notebook only for internet and we know that internet doesnt cause components to be heat.
i have one pic from user manaul, where we can see that fan needs to cycle on and off during routine operation, but my fan is almost always ON. Here is pic

Having the fan come on is generally automatic. It depends on the notebook as far as which utility controls the cooling fan.  My current  product loaner HP Envy17-3002ea notebook has HP CoolSense, but not all notebooks have it. Some notebook's cooling is  controlled by an algorithm in the BIOS ROM that is based on the  temperature ramp (delta) in the system board and CPU.
The fan come on when your notebook starts up  is quite normal. If the temperature gets too hot the the CPU will shut itself down as a self protective measure.  There are a number of utility programs one can use if one is a bit paraniod about a notebook's CPU temperature, but generally speaking, there isn't  really much to worry about.

  • T510 Microphone & Speaker Problem

    Hi All:
Got my notebook back from the repair center after they replaced the motherboard and restored my hard drive to factory setting (they erased the microsoft office partition for some reason).
Unfortunately, the microphone doesn't work.  I've tried uninstalling the driver & installing the lastest version from Lenovo's website multiple times but this has not helped.  I physically checked the cables and everything is correctly connected.  Verified that I did not mute the microphone and increased the gain to no avail.  Performed a full restored and update the Lenovo drivers first before performing any Windows 7 (64) updates but problem remained.
Also, when the Thinkvantage Tools checks the functionality of the speakers by playing a sound from the left to the right speakers, something goes wrong.  The left speaker produces sound but the right speaker does not produce any sound.  It's strange because if I play an audio file, then sound comes from both speakers.  I manually change the balance and the right speaker works normally.  Has anyone encountered this issue before?  Is this a driver issue or do I have a hardware problem?
    Thanks,
    chl

Looks like it'll need another warranty call. Do check to see if microphone was somehow disabled under BIOS.
The Ubuntu pointing drivers heavily, heavily, heavily favour touchpad accelerations, etc, and have absolutely horrid TrackPoint support. The UltraNav touchpad settings need some adjustment to be rendered optimal.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP 15-r006tu Notebook
and the speakers not cutting off when you insert the headphones. Here is a link to The HP Support Assistant. The HP Support Assistant will help with the updating drivers if needed. After an update sometimes you need to check to make sure all the software and drivers have been updated. Restart the computer after the update has been completed. Here is a link to troubleshooting sound if you need it.
