Dear friends,
Plz. help me in mapping the Business Scenario
I want to assign a special discount(example 3%) for all the sales orders exceeding a value of Rs.50000/- automatically.

As per the hrishi and your query , you need to give the inputs to the ABAP'er  that if the net value exceeds Rs50000/- then the conditon type should not  trigger in the sales order for that customer (KUNNR )   (assuming that this is an customer discount condition type). And whenever again the sales order is created with that customer (KUNNR) and if the value exceeds Rs.50000/- then  the condition type should trigger .
In this way you can give the logic and create a new sub-routine and assign in the  conditon type requirement field.

    You are right, client wants ZAR in printout, but what i want to understand is which is a better option, to dislay ZAR in printout, but raise invoice in USD or raise invoice in ZAR and display ZAR in printout and also what config change do i need to make in case i want to raise invoice in ZAR since as of now the invoice is being raised in USD.

    Many companies have EPP (Employee Purchase Programs) with Apple.  You need to check your benefits programs offerred by IBM.  It will basically be a URL to an EPP login page for the Apple Store.
    NOTE:  I do not think there is any discount on iPhones.
    I have observed that the discounts tend to be around 8% on Pro equipment and 6% on consumer products.  But some items the discounts vary depending on the product.  And in some cases there is no discount.
    Again, check with your IBM benefits.

    Hi all,
    I have a query on configuring special discount after exceeding particular sales value.
    Our company has introduced 10 new products and if any customer buys those products for Rs.50,000 per month, then any of those products are sold at a special rate
    For example
    If the original price of Product-A is Rs.5000, and any customer buys that for Rs.50,000, then the price of Product-A must be Rs.600. It may not be for single product, but even if sales value exceeds Rs.50,000 after buying any of those 10 products, then the special rate must apply for all the 10 products. The limit of 50,000 is per month and each new month is a fresh start.
    Please suggest me which process in SAP has to be configured to achieve this scenario

    In my opinion there is no direct way to handle this requirement. Yes we need to write ABAP routines which in my opinion could lead to performance issues depending on the volume of transactions. However the following could be one of the alternatives for the given requirement.
    1) Create two Price conditions say ZPR1 & ZPR2 . ZPR1 should contain normal prices. ZPR2 should contain the special prices.
    2) Configure exclusion if ZPR2 is active then ZPR1 should be excluded. (standard SAP)
    3) Create a special material group field and associate with these 10 materials.
    3) For ZPR2 write the requirement that it should be active only when the sigma of net values of those 10   materials is greater than 50000. The logic for this will be that 
      a) Check if the material is belonging to that material group
      b) Pick the month from the date of the document and then pick sales VBRK documents for that specific customer for the month. Then insert those documents in VBRP and pick the materials with that material group and start summing the net values.
    4) Cons of the solution
    a) The values of these material in the current transaction will not be considered. I think we can pick even this from structure but would seriously suggest not to attempt this as as it is the solution is heavy on system
    b) Can lead to performance issues. Needs to be tested.

    Despite the name, no version of InDesign runs "in the cloud". It is always a local app, running from your hard disk.
    However, current versions are ONLY available in subscription and ALWAYS need to check the internet regularly.
    At least, that is the retail position. An educational establishment should enquire about volume licensing and possible offline use.

  • On Net value: Discount Condition Type

    Hi,
    I would like to know whether the below requirement can be fulfilled with the standard SD configuration.
    As far as I know all discount condition types calculates on Gross value. But I have a discount condition type (lets say 123 = Special Discount) which should calculate based on Net value. I can create a step after Netvalue but the problem I see is, how the system calculates Output tax
    eg.
    10 PR00
    20 ABC  (Customer discount)
    30 XYZ  (Material discount)
    40 Discount Sum
    50 Net Value
    60 123 (Special Discount)
    70 MWST (output tax)
    So if I place discount type 123 after Net value, I think it will calculate on net value, but the problem might come with MWST as it cant calculates on Netvalue but on 123. Am I right?  I knew it can be done with the ABAPer help. But I would like to know whether it can be done with standard (alrady predefined) SAP configuration. (by assigning any routine or some settings in Pricing procedure determination in V/08 ???)

    how do I mention that sub total will be PR00 - Discount. I configure like this
    10 PR00
    20 ABC (Customer discount)
    30 XYZ (Material discount)
    40 Discount Sum                      from20    to39
    50 Sub total                             
    60 123 (Special Discount)
    70 Net price
    80 MWST (output tax)
    90 Total
    when I indicate from 20 to 39 besides Discount Sum, system will sum the discounts between step 20 to 39. How do I write at sub total like this, so that system will deduct the discount sum from PR00. Similary how do I write Sub total - Special discount.
    Could you please explain bit more detail.

    Case: During purchase order, vendor has given special discount for a material when purchased for a specific customer.
    Requirement: I need to know following;
    1. How are those specific prices could be reflected in COGS?
    2. How do those specific prices affect the moving average price? is there any way to avoid this effect in the COGS?

    Considering that you are working with material ledger system will calculate moving average price doesn´t matter the discounts conditions you had during month.
    System will revaluate all consumption considering this moving average price.
    Maybe you could think about Splliting Valuation feature ou  Make to Sales Order scenario.
    These are ways to have a specific cost using the same part number.

    there is a requirement from real estate client that they want to charge a special price to the first 10 customers purchasing their residential flat.Sale part is being handled thru SD only. Flats are created as Material master. Now as n number of Flats are created. So, thru Standard functionality, special price is required for first 10 customers who purchases these flats.

    I think you are missing something. first of all let me tell you what is maxcond base value .
    Maximum condition value
    Specifies the maximum condition value for this condition record.
    Use
    You use this field to limit the use of a particular condition record to a specified total value.
    Example
    You offer a customer a special discount on a certain product but want to limit this discount to a specified total amount. You enter the maximum amount (for example, 1000 USD) in this field. As you process orders that use this condition record, the system updates the cumulative value. When the maximum value is reached, the system automatically deactivates the condition record in subsequent orders. In your case you decided to sell first 10 flats @ 100000 Rs, means total 10 lakhs
    Mention this value here.
    Once you mention this and start selling your flats, and system monitors this value, and soon as it reaches 10 lakhs, it will stop giving the discount to the customer. This is a control other than the no: of orders , it means you have here second control to control no: of orders, by no: wise and by value wise. I think you got what I mean.
    Now coming back to your question :
    as, for 11th order, the required price is different (e.g. Rs 2000 after 10th SO), where i'll maintain condition record with value Rs. 2000. ?
    You have to maintain standard price in PR00 and any discounts should go for respective discount types and in your case it should be K004 condition type by going to VK12.
    Again now please maintain max.condition value in K004 by ticking condition update at V/06 and coming back to vk12, selecting k004, and maintain your discounts, maxcondition value , no: of orders required etc. and save it.
    I have repeted this in my sandbox this for you and got it right, then why not you. try it again, you will get it. Do it right.

    hi last yr, i was receving free eve and wkend calls as some sort of special discount i had with BT. unbeknown to me, this discount of 3.30 stopped end october and then BT started charging me for it..i didnt realise til i saw the bill for november by which time i had already been charged and used these free minutes. I am sure BT didnt send me any email or letter oto say the discount was coming to an end. they did mention it on the november bill but as i said, i had already used and been charged for 10 days of november . my question is are BT allowed to do this? When i tried to get a rebate they said as i had alreayd usd the free service, i could not get a rebate. but they instead offered a new contract with free eve and wkend calls from now on.

    I would assume that when you were given the discount you would have been told that it was a for a certain period of time or until the end of your contract.
    It would then be up to you to monitor that. I am pretty sure that BT would be under no obligation to inform you that a discount had come to an end but you would need to check the Terms and Conditions of the discount to be sure.

    Define a modifier of Discount Type and define the discount price/percent.It can be a fixed discount price/percent or a price break bearing ranges.
    Then attach the following qualifiers for this discount modifier.
    1.The price list to which the particular item belongs.
    2.The particular customer who qualifies for this special discount.
    3.Line volume/order volume/line weight/order weight (Qualifier context: volume)

    Hi,
    The case is like this.
    I have a quotation as follows :
    Item a  unit price  kd 10                 qty 6                      total price 60kd
    Item b  unit price kd 5                    qty  5                     total price 25 kd
    Total = KD 85
    Special discount KD 21.25( 25%)
    Final total = KD 63.75
    For the above quote if I have to make a PO in sap at present the following thing happens :
    Unit price for item is given as 10 and 5 respectively.
    Header level discount is given as kd 21.25 ( 25%)
    When the po is saved and printed
    The discount gets calculated in the item level  so now my unit prices will be 7.5 and 3.75 respectively.
    Total after discount matches with the quote thatu2019s fine.
    But the unit price  should not be discounted at item level .
    As per the quote Discount is applicable to the total. Even in sap the discount should be applicable to the final total not distributed on the item.

    I want to apply the Header discount in value contract. I'm using condition type - K000 in the header but the discount percentage is not calculated at the header nor it is applying in the contract item level.
