Special Offers on Packages (They seem to be Free n...

Hello BT...
I have just visited your BT.com website and noticed that you have some Excellent!! Special Offers on your combined packages , are these available for existing users?
I am "very" interested in the £0 a month combined Broadband+Phone+Vision package your BT.Com website seems to be offering at the moment
Can we hold you to these offers BT?? or has the 1st of Aprial arrived early

I found the site a little misleading when i was looking poking around and trying not to get tripped up on the small print.
www.bt.com > At home > packages > Full house > customise.
When i chang the call package from the FREE weekend plan to the £$.99 per month anytime packege, the price doesn't change. Should the stated monthly cost not have increased/decreased depending on my selection?
I am guessing the calculator doesn't take into account that the anytime package is only free for the first three months and after that i would have a neat little surprise.

    Hi there,
I am just wondering what is the best way for me to do this - If i can qualify for the reduced rate complete package then this may be better value but I'm not sure if I do!

    Hi Charlie,
You can go for the Photography plan which includes both Photoshop and Lightroom as a bundle and it will cost you $9.99 a month.

I can take a screenshoot and send it to you by email and perhaps you can help me to solve this. How do I get in contact with a human being from Adobe in Sweden to help me sort this out?

  • Eligible for Complete Package special offer?

I am trying to see if I am eligible for the special offer on the Complete Package. I had a monthly subscription to Illustrator for a couple of months earlier this year. Would this qualify as a previous purchase? I am trying to find the redemption code or serial number from this subscription, but I cannot locate it.

The Complete package is for CS (Creative Suite) customers who own any of the complete suites from CS3 thru CS6.  A subscription to a single application is not a qualifying product under these circumstances.

  • Am I eligible for the Complete - Special offer Package ?

If so, How do I go about making the switch (my current monthly subscription amount Rs 1600 is the same as that of the Complete - Special Offer).

  • Forcing customers to pay for a phone and/or data package they don't want or need

By their practices Verizon is forcing customers to pay for more than what the customer wants or needs, and at the same time giving the customer less of what they want or need.
I've been a Verizon Wireless customer for years. Everytime my 2 year upgrade is due I check what phones are available. It seems that as time goes by there are less and less Basic Phones with a qwerty keyboard, music player, good camera, and video. Now, there are only 3 phones to choose from that don't require a data package: none of them have a camera over 1.3 megapixels, none have video, and ALL had HORRIBLE customer reviews. Those reviews tell me I'm not the only disgruntled Verizon customer.
I've had Verizon phones that I liked in the past; right now I have a Blitz. I settled for that one because it was the best of the few bad choices available at the time. My most recent 2 year contract has been over for 5 months so now I'm on month-to-month with no contract, which is awesome. But my phone, which I like for the most part, doesn't work right. The problem is the earpiece speaker quit working as soon as my contract was up (maybe a software timebomb to force me to get a new phone?) so I took it to a repair shop to get it replaced. They replaced it but that speaker died after 2 months and since the phone has been discontinued (grr!), there is NO chance of getting a new speaker. That wouldn't be such an issue if the Bluetooth function had ever worked, which it never did. I recently broke down and decided I'd settle on something, so I tried the KinTwo (one of my 3 choices) but it sucked immensely so I sent it back.
So now I'm forced to buy a phone (with Some of the features I need, because it's obviously impossible to get ALL the features I want/need in One phone) that I don't like; AND pay for a $10 -$30 data package which I don't want or need, and can't afford; AND forced to sign up for a new 2 year contract. I'd rather go with Pay As You Go because I barely use any 'minutes' (I do more texting than talking, which is why I need a good qwerty keyboard) but I'd have to pay over $350 for a fairly decent phone.
HEY VERIZON, How about providing more than 3 choices of phones that don't require a data package? And how about making those phones GOOD QUALITY and not the garbage you're providing for sale now?
I'd like to stay with Verizon because they DO have the best service area compared to the other Big wireless phone companies . I've been with AT&T and the service area is really not as good. I even did comparison research for a college course's Final Project because I wanted to know which company had the more truthful claims about their coverage area. I live in the Sierra foothills and reception is a big issue with a lot of people here. I've talked with customers of the other companies and they all agree I should stay with Verizon. But if Verizon can't offer any good phones then I might as well switch to another carrier who may have more concern for their customer's needs. Even after giving us few choices of devices, charging high prices, and gauging us at every opportunity, they give us less incentive to stay a loyal customer. At least AT&T has roll-over minutes, Criket has 'no contract' service, and TracPhone has no contract/Pay as you go service with inexpensive phones.
So please excuse me while I go to the other carriers' websites to see what they're offering...

You are spot on. Verizon wants to squeeze every dollar it can from it's customers and customer service can take a DISTANT back seat to greed. I have a Chocolate Touch which I got a few years ago(before it REQUIRED a data package). I had activated a different phone which I ended up not liking and when I tried to re-activate my Chocolate I got slammed with the required data crappage..er package. I had to fight to get the data BLOCKED and the phone activated again.
Wifi is all over but all the phones that have Wifi that Verizon sells require data packages too. I REFUSE to give Verizon $30 minimum for data when I have no need for it. If they had ANY CLUE about customer service they would simply allow you to buy whatever phone you wanted from them(or others) and activate them with data blocks.Until they do I guess I will either be stuck with my old phones or go provider shopping. Which I am sure Budone will find great satisfaction in.
On that topic. I am amazed that Versizon sits back and lets your apathy and disrespect of ANYONE who does not kowtow to the company line as they seem to. You are a "gold user" so clarly you are  some sort of Verzion demi-god. Gotta say, there is not one word of disrespect in what I wrote. I do not puke on anyone, BUT I do present a different view than you or the OP may be willing to see with your, "Woe is me, have pity on me, and let me do what I want, if not involve the government to protect myself from myself attitude."
If you took time to look at posts of mine, I have had VZW in my crosshairs a few times, but they made it right. All in how you present yourself. Personally, I am willing to bet that corporate suck ups like you are the very reason many people finally DO make the break from Verizon. Your habit of puking all over people with legitimate complaints and the tolerance of same on this board lead ME and I am sure others to feel that your dismissive attitude is acceptable to, if not encouraged by Verizon in General. And yes, I have been edited in the past. But there was NOTHING in my prior post that has anything you state in it. You just dont like what I said. That is not towing the company line, that is knowing it costs a Ton of money to get a new deivce to market and data plans helps recoup the cost and allows upgrades and LTE to be deployed. You would be upset if you could not use your phone where there is NOT any WiFi.
    Even though I have had issues with Verizon's service and corporate paradigm(especially the companys determination to exthort every penny it can from me), almost every Service Rep I have spoken to has been considerate, friendly and helpful. There have been one or two who, when I broached the possible need for finding a new provider, seems unconcerned, but in general I have been made to feel valued by the people I have spoken with. {please keep your posts courteous}
As for the demi-god comment, maybe I can get a MOD or ADMIN to change me from Gold to that!

  • CS5 serial number not recognised when upgrading to 'CS members Complete - Special Offer' on the cloud

I have CS5 premium membership, and would like to upgrade to the the cloud. My profile lists the serial numbers of this older software, but when I try to buy the "CS members Complete — Special Offer" it says I'm not eligible. Why am I not eligible? I'm using a Mac Book Pro. The old software is installed on my imac and I cannot access it now as it's in another county.

Yes it is, as I am having the same problem - was eligible for the Student/Teacher edition, now not and looking to upgrade to an Individual licence.
I talked to someone on Livechat yesterday about this and it ended with the person telling me if I called the sales number, rather than online, they would honour the upgrade.
When I called, the person on the phone said that this was not possible (and that there was no record of this commitment on my notes)...
It seems that there is no reward for loyalty or honesty... :-/

  • Connection Charge Special offer

    Hello,
Can please someone explain to me what this 18 month Connection Charge Special offer means when you opt for bt services to a place that needs an installation of a new line (co avoid paying the 130pound fee)
i obviously understand that you start a 12 or 18 month contract for phone line and internet, but if you decide to finish the contract before the minimum term, do you need to pay anything other than the early termination fees for the package you bought?
i hope i make some sense.
    thanks

    Hey thanks for the reply
but its still not that clear to me.
because everyone i ve asked in the company no one has given a definite answer.
as i said i do understand that you pay http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/dynamicmodules/pagecontentfooter/pageContentF... depending what you got.
But if you didnt pay for the installation of the line that is 130 pounds. will the make pay it in the end for ending the contract earlier?
always bearing in mind that if that happens in a rented accomodation you always know that someone new will move in the property and they will definately carry one the service you left. (so its not really a loss for the company but anyway)

  • Upgrade to Adobe CC with the conditions of the "special offer" (35,69€ / year) with an old registered CS5 Students Edition?

    Hi!
I just tried to update my Adobe Creative Suite to Adobe CC. I have a registered CS5.5 Master Collection from 2012 that I bought while studying (Students Edition).
On the Adobe Website I can choose the CC as a special offer and a price o 35,69€ per year. When my Serial is checked they say that I'm not allowed to use this special offer.
Does anybody know what's the problem? Can't I use the special offer with the old serial of a student's edition?
    Thank's for your help!
    Best!!!

No.  Student licenses cannot be used per the terms and conditions...

  • The special offer for the printer that is going on with a Mac, how does that work? Is it true i can get a free printer?

The special offer for the printer that is going on with a Mac, how does that work? Is it true i can get a free printer?

you pay for it up front, and they give you a rebate or $99, so if you buy a $99 printer from them (Epson Stylus NX430 Small-in-One Color Inkjet Printer $99.95) then the printer becomes free. You can not get this deal unless you also buy a mac with it.

  • Special offers, not showing same price on Buy Now

I have been interested in trying a Skype phone and noticed the RTX4088 in the Special Offers section as being 15% off, marked down from $117.49 to $99.87. But, when I click on Buy now, it takes me to a cart page and the price jumps to $146.86 marked down to $117.49. What gives? Skype, any help here? I wondered if it was a currency difference, but the item shows a big C next to it on the Special Offers page, that seems to match up with Canadian, as I am from Canada. And on the Buy now page it has a big C as well. So, I can't see that the currency is switching. Something doesn't seem right here with price differences, but I'm not sure what the answer is.

I don't believe Skype controls the prices merchants post.  I can't verify what you are seeing from my location but I can tell you I've seen price discrepancies before.  Generally I see the lowest prices by the Chat and Vision merchant.  You can also buy from alternate merchants that are usually more expensive.  When you go the normal route in the store you are given that option.  What I believe is happening is that device is not available from the lower price merchant in your region so it defaults to the next lowest priced merchant.  It's probably doing this seamlessly from the Special Offers page, thus creating the price discrepancy.

  • Special offer - Photoshop and Lightroom 5

    Hi
I am currently a part of the Photoshop CC, and pays approx. 50USD/month.
There is a special offer until 8 Dec. were you can have Lightroom included for only 17USD...
Is it possible tot change the licence and save some money ?
    Best regards
    Lars

The offer I see for the US at www.adobe.com is for $9.99/month PS-CC+LR5.  Are you talking about something else, or maybe outside the US is it more expensive?  $17 is still cheaper than $50.
I know many people have had someone called Beverly Gray switch their subscription from PS-CC to PS-CC+LR since the offer first came out near the end of November, but she may not be on here all the time.
Supposedly you can chat with Adobe Customer Service and they’ll do it, but if you try that, insist that they don’t charge you a penalty for terminating your PS-CC-single-app subscription, early.  If they are unwilling to do that come back here and see if someone will help you.
If no one assists you for a day, then retitle your forum post something like Change PS-CC to PS-CC+LR so it’s obvious what you want to happen.

  • Photoshop / Lightroom Special Offer Available Features

I just purchased the one-year special offer ($9.99 a month for one year).  I installed Photoshop and Lightroom 5.  On the "App" menu, I noticed there were other Apps designated "Install" and others "Try".  I read on the FAQ for this special offer that "Bridge" was included.  "Bridge" was one of the items designated "Install", so I installed it.  It installed as an Update, so I guess it is included within Photoshop?  I am wondering about the other items noted as "Install", also.  I am wondering if they are also Updates which need to be installed?  Hope someone can answer these questions.  Thank you for your help.

Output Module is part of Bridge
    http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/install-output-module-bridge-cc.html
    http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/create-web-galleries-pdfs-adobe.html
Other items that would think included are the 'Extension Manager' which looks after the installation of additional tools and panels in Photoshop.  Dmonzon Tools is a popular one and something I use all the time.  It's free btw.  The others that I use are Adobe Exchange Panel, Paper Textures, Flat Icon, and Guide Guide.
Otherwise,  I would imagine that anything that invites to 'Install' from the Desktop Application Manager is included, and anything that invites you Try isn't.

  • Special Offer not available

I keep being sent emails by Adobe tellign me that there is a special price available for Creative Cloud for existing users.  When I try to sign up, I am told that I don't qualify.  I have registered copies of Lightroom, Photoshiop Elements and Premiere Elements, all latest versions.  I understand that the elements versions do not qualify as they are not part of Creative Suite, but Lightroom should.  Does anyone know what's going on here.  Firstly, I think I should be eligible and secondly, I resent being sent emails telling me that there is a special offer available that I am not eligible for!

The offer pricing is for existing users of CS3-CS6, suites or point products.  Unfortunately Lightroom is not a CS product so does not qualify.  I'm sorry that you've received emails for offers you're not eligible for.  Please let me know if I can email you to get further details on the offers you received.
    Thanks
    Bev
