Special ordering within fulltext searching

Hi everybody,
I use attributes 'FUZZY_MATCH', 'AUTO' and 'FUZZY_SCORE', '70' in fulltext wordlist 'BASIC_WORDLIST'. I use CONTAINS in WHERE clause of SELECT statement for fulltext searching.
Is it possible to order result in this manner?
1. At the beginning show sentences containing words which are exactly the same as searched word (words)
2. Then show sentences containing similar words as searched word (words)

They are very, very different beasts.
Firstly FAST Search for SharePoint is the old name for the product and is only relevant for SharePoint 2010 not 2013. It got merged into the standard SharePoint search for the 2013 release.
SharePoint search is aimed at providing a Bing or Google like experience for your intranet content, as well as providing some nifty features that are purely SharePoint releated along the way. That means it can crawl SharePoint content, file shares,
outlook mailboxes, internal and external websites and probably fifty other different things if you really tried. Whilst i'm not an expert on SQL full text search I believe it's intended to provide a search feature for content held within SQL databases
and tables.
Can you run SharePoint purely for Search? Yes, definitely.

How to - correct episode order within the Remote App

Recently I found that when i was using the Remote App to control my iTunes Library, all my TV Show episodes where in alphabetical order instead of episode number order.
after searching on how to solve this and speaking with Apple Support (who couldn't figure out why this was happening) i couldn't find the answer and noticed that many people were having this same issue and were in the same boat as me.
i managed to solve the issue and wanted to share. sorry if i have posted this in the wrong area, first time giving advise on here.
ill run through this using The Walking Dead - Season 1 as an example, but this can obviously be done with any TV Show.
Even with the correct episode numbers, iTunes displays the episode in the correct order -
but in alphabetical order within your library on the remote app -
in iTunes - highlight all episodes and get info
     2. under the Options Tab, change the Media Kind to Music Video and click OK at the bottom
     3. Then head over to where you Music Videos are stored
     4. select each of the episodes, get info
     5. under the Details Tab, you will now have more options to select
     6. scroll to the bottom of the Details Tab, and within the Album Artist section, type in "The Walking Dead"
     7. in the Disc Number section, you want to add which season of how many seasons there are. example - I have 4 seasons of The Walking Dead within my library, and as this is season 1, i will enter 1 of 4
     8. next, in the Track section, you want to add which episode of how may episodes in that season. example - this is episode 1 of 6 in the season
     9. next go into the Options Tab, and change the Media Kind back to TV Show
     10. click OK at the bottom
     11. once you have done this for each episode, head back into your TV Shows
     12. when you now get info for each of the episodes, the Album Artist, Disc Number and Track sections should be at the bottom of the Details Tab (if they were not there before)
     13. if this has been done correctly - all episodes should be correctly listed within the remote app by episode order
Hopefully this has helped somebody out there!

Gotcha - came up with a workaround... since the photos were living in the Photo Library packaged itself, and not simply in another regular folder, I right clicked on the library and said show packaged content, then search for what folders the files lived in, then copied the files out of the packaged library into a folder. Then I was able to give the Photos Library access to the new folder with the files.
With all my files now references, I enabled iCloud Photo Library and am uploading now.
Hopefully my new local Photo Library will be smart enough to optimize local images and shrink to give me more space.

FullText Searching using a search term from a field

Say I want to compare two tables using FullText searching, one table has the content to be searched, and the other table has a list of search terms (to be evaluated separately). I have not found a way other than using cursors to cycle through the search
terms to capture the results. The FullText search term appears to only allow 'text strings' or @variables, but not [Field]'s. Is there a better way to approach this for batch processing?
Another usage that I see merit for FullText searching is duplicates detection within existing data sets. Is there a way to perform INNER table joins using FullText - or do we have to fall back on CURSOR iterative methods again?

Using Ms SQL Fulltext Search in Dreamweaver!

Has anyone got experience in using MS SQL Server and Fulltext Search (FREETEXTTABLE)?
I'm trying to create a select statement (see below) but i don't know the syntax for replacing the 'search text' with a variable.

Hi!
What version of SQL Server are you using for the repositories? Maybe the error is because DS can not create repositories in SQL Server 2008. You can read and write data with SQL2008, but you need to create the repositories in SQL2005 or another RDBMS. I'm not sure when DS is going to be able to create them in SQL2008.

Change GR/IR Account for Special Order PO Type

I've had a request from our FI department.
They would like a new PO type for special orders that will post to a different GR/IR Account.
In our configuration, the GR/IR account is determined based upon valuation class of the article.
But if they special order the same article using this new PO type, they would like it to post to a different GR/IR account.
There doesn't seem to be a way to do this through configuration. (If there is, I would love to know how.)
I can't find a way to change the GR/IR account in the PO BAdi (ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST). This BAdI would allow me to set the G/L Account Code, Profit and Cost centers but doesn't seem to have the GR/IR Account.
Is there any BAdI or User-Exit that will allow me to maintain the GR/IR Account while creating a PO?

Issue services with different Internal Orders within a Plant from one PO?

Hiii... Please advice me of issuing services through one purchase order (one vendor comes and do the service to different machines of different internal orders in a plant) to different internal orders within a plant.

what is the problem? you can have Multiple Line Items in a PO (one for each internal Order).
And within one Line item you can add multiple service lines.

Fulltext search with Stellent.

sorry for double posting, but I didn't noticed that an ECM specific forum exists.
I have successfully installed UCM+Site Studio using Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 as RDBMS and I have enabled the fulltext search.
Trying to use the fulltext search on Ravenna example site, and also directly in the Content Server, it seems that the fulltext search only works with documents having Native Document as Web Site Object Type.
For example, if I search for Ravenna, only few pages are found (all in News), and all with content from from .doc files.
While the home page, which starts with Ravenna Hosting..., but contained in a contributor data file, is not retrieved!!!
If I run manually the query performed by the search without the CONTAINS operator, which is appended if something is typed in the search box, the contributor data file is found.
In fact "Data File" is included in the conditions.
But when the CONTAINS operator is added, all the non-native documents disappear.
What I really need to know if there is a way to do fulltext searches on documents with Data File as Web Site Object Type.
Am I missing something?
How can I search, for example, for content added to a region by a contributor using the wysiwyg editor?

Special order type determination

Dear all,
I have the requirment like this,generally when we convert planned order to production order,we use order type PP01 and we can default this in OPPQ.But if a demand of a material comes from the alternative plant (that means this material has SPT 80 in that plant),we want that the planned order of this situation be converted to be a special order type,like ZP01 because the settlement rule is quite different.
Is there any possible way except enhancement to solve this issue?

Hi Leo,
your requirement somehow doesn't sound right. This is the same material in the manufacturing plant common stock, so it has the same standard price.
Even if you had different order types, you only settle the balances, since the main part of the cost went into FG stock at GR from production, at the same price for both order types.
So, if you want a different view at the same materials, you should look at separate stock segments, like WBS or customer order.

If you're using the Combine Files functionality in PDF Pack to combine multiple files into a single PDF, you can determine which order the files appear in the PDF. (Just select the files to combine, and then drag them into the order you want them to appear in the PDF.) However, if you're creating a single PDF, you need Acrobat to reorder the pages.

within my navigation panel i have two iview, the detail navigation and an own iView (Web Dynpro within the dynamic navigation of a page). Until now the detail navigation appears at the first position in the navigation panel. How can i change the order within the navigation panel so that my own iView will be shown at the first position?

Hi Raji,
iviews can be ordered alphabetical. You can set this function in Systemadministration -> Service-Konfiguration -> Applications -> com.sap.portal.ivs.iviewservice -> iViewsSrv. Then you can set this value to ture (sorting true).
You can also change the sort-priority value in the property of each iview to 0..n.

Dream kitchen hopes shattered because of special order purchase

My wife and I have been saving for a long time to build a kitchen of our dreams. We finally saved enough money to put our plan in motion and start the remodel project over Labor Day. In our extremely tight budget we planned for a new refridgerator. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the Baxter MN store had a sign (all appliances on sale) we noticed when we were picking up supplies in the area. We stopped in to look at refridgerators and microwaves only to be dissappointed that white appliances were not stocked in the type of fridge that we wanted.White was our only choice because we have a newer white convection oven that we paid $1300.00 for a few years back. The sales person said that we could order the preferred fridge in white but it would take about 3 or 4 weeks to get it.We placed the order and purchased a new microwave to be delivered on Sept 24th (removed per forum guidelines). On Sept 2nd I received an e-mail that the order was delayed until the 26th (which wasn't a problem). On September 26th I received another e-mail that said the order was now delayed until Oct 10th then shortly after that I received an e-mail that said the delivery was scheduled for Oct 15th. On October 11th we stopped by the Baxter store after we picked up our special order cabinets from a local home improvement store because we wanted to pick up our microwave and get it installed during the cabinet installation only to have the customer service person tell me that it wasn't available until the 15th. This was a stock item when we purchased it! Yesterday I checked on the order and confirmed that it was going to be delivered over the phone and everything was still sheduled for today the 15th. In the afternoon I received a call from the store stating that the order was delayed yet again until the 31st (and he couldn't be sure if it would be delayed again)! OK here's where I stasrt to get mad. You have been sitting on $2200.00 of my hard earned money for nearly 7 weeks and all you have done was delayed the project for me! I told the person on the phone that this was unacceptable and all he could do was tell me that I could come in and pick out something else or cancel the order. Knowing that only stainless steel appliances were stocked I told the person to cancel the order and refund my money ASAP so I could find another store and make the purchase. I received a call back and was told that since I paid with a check that it would take longer to refund my money because Best Buy would have to pay me by check. Are you serious! You have been sitting on $2200.00 of my money for nearly 7 weeks and now I have to wait up to 10 business days to get a refund and on top of that the bank is going to hold the check for up to another 10 days before they credit my account!!! In the mean time I have a kitchen wall that I can't set cabinets on because I don't have any fridge dimensions and my wife and I are eating out of boxes! I can't express how dissappointed with your company I am! One way or the other Best Buy needs to find a way to fix this! If I don't get any resolution I will be sending long detailed letters to Hubert Joly (CEO) and Mike Mohan (Cheif Merchandising Officer).

Using the order number you provided, I was able to review it and the history of delays. Presently, I see that the Baxter, MN store will need to tender this refund via their system. That being said, per our Return & Exchange Promise, your refund would be in the original form of payment. In your case, you would be issued a check, which can take up to 10 business days.
I can understand how this may set you farther back with your remodeling, and so I am reaching out to the store for what options we may have. I have following four tables,
COUNTRY_MASTER table contains SL_NO, COUNTRY_CODE, COUNTRY_NAME, .... columns.
STATE_MASTER table contains SL_NO, STATE_CODE, STATE_NAME, ... columns.
COUNTY_MASTER table contains SL_NO, COUNTY_CODE, COUNTY_NAME, ... columns.
CITY_MASTER table contains SL_NO, CITY_CODE, CITY_NAME, ... columns.
I have another mapping table,
MAPPING_TABLE table contains SL_NO, COUNTRY_SL_NO, STATE_SL_NO, COUNTY_SL_NO, CITY_SL_NO, ... columns.
I want output like this -
first column is LEVEL which contains 1 for Country, 2 for State, 3 for Country and 4 for City.
second column contains all countries, states, counties and cities (all should be in one column) ORDERED within groups for the second column.
There some other columns from other tables.

Special Characters within Email Addresses

I am trying to send e-mails via JavaMail that contain French characters. I have no problem setting the subject and body as ISO-8859-1 compliant.
However, there are several e-mails in the distribution list that contain special characters within the actual email (i.e. test@t�st.com). When I try to send it, I get the following error:

I'm pretty sure you can't put special characters in a domain name (i.e t�st.com). However, that begs the question of whether it is valid in the user name portion of the email address (i.e. t�[email protected]). I don't know for sure.
Maybe URL encoding or Mime encoding may do something, but this is just a guess.

Buyer is unable to view the purchase order in advance search screen

Hi Experts,
I have an issue, the issue is when a shopping cart is created by the requisitioner and got approved, following document purchase order is created.
When buyer is trying to view the purchase order in advance search he could not view the purchase order.
Zero results found message is populating when buyer wants to retreive the purchase order, buyer wants to delete the purchase order, but he is not able to view the purchase order in advance search.
Can anyone among you let me know what can be done to acheive this.

I have checked the status of the PO and it is in ordered state, I am able to view the PO because i have local admin role productin support role.
But when buyer is trying to retrieve the PO it is not happening even though the user has buyer role.
