  • Any Special transaction code for Activation of Work flow

    Hi all.
Any Special transaction code for Activation and deactive of Work flow?
which have we need to transport after WF (like task, method, rule)?
To be reward all helpfull answers.
    Regards.
    Jay

If I understand your question correctly, you want to know how to activate your workflow after transport ?
Normally, the status of a workflow is included in your transport (if I'm not mistaken)
So activate/deactivate in your dev-system and transport it..

Our depreciation areas are like following.
    1 : Book Area
    2 : Tax Area
    3 : Book Area - Tax Area

The depreciation area information is like above, then I got an above error message.
Please tell me where I have to assign above account at AO90 transaction.

    Hello Julie,
    Thanks for your reply.
The depreciation area "03" is a derived area.
I think the issue has been solved.
    Thanks again.

  • Transaction code for Custom report

    Hi,
How to create transaction code for Custom report ?
the custom report is a drilldown report of COPA, which can seen in tcode  FDI3.
then how to add this new transaction to the menu path Easy assess->FI->AR->Information system->Reports->customers:items.
    Thanks,
    Swetha

    Hi Swetha,
There is a special way to assign tcodes to such reports. Normally you create the report via report painter/writer. These reports are part of library and report group.
Create the tcode in SE93. Then at the bottom of the screen you would find option to specify report group, report name, variant to lauch with. Don't have system to specify the exact way of specifying, if you need I can provide on monday. You can take some existing COPA standard report and check from SE93.

  • OBXR- Special GL Transaction Types - Modify Fields

Hello Gurus. We are on ECC 6.0 with New GL. Is there a way to modify which fields are available for the Special GL Transaction types in OBXR ? For example: In OBXR go to Properties.  We selected Down Payment/Down payment request, later on when we enter a document via FB01 or FB50 or when we post a payment via F-28, and we select Posting Key 09 or 19 and use the Special GL Indicator we are able to display and enter information in BSEG-PRCTR (Profit Center field).
If on the other hand in OBXR we set up another Special GL Transaction type and we select Others, then  BSEG-PRCTR (profit center field) is not even available, but we are able to enter BSEG-ZFBDT and later on modify this same field (BSEG-ZFBDT) via FB02.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance in how to modify/include additional fields in these Special GL Transaction types. Thanks!

    Hi Enrique,
Are you referring to the document screen layout when you enter the document in the special GL transactions?
This is controlled by the field status of the posting key in question. Using transaction code OB41you can double click on the posting key (say 09) and inside you find something called as maintain field status. Clicking on the same, you will be able to see various groups under which you can make the necessary settings like optional/reqd/suppressed.
    Thanks
    Aravind

  • Navigation for database tables in a transaction code

    Hi all !
Is there any way to know the database tables linked to a transaction code, so that searching for fields in tables gets easier right? Please help.
What is the use of Tcode SE80.How can we make use of this transaction?

    hi,
    SE80 - Object Navigator
se80 is a tool to develope and navigate programs and dd-obj.
SE80 Object Navigator - > means all the objects qill be available there.
in se80 in addition to viewing the objects related to programming and classess, there are more priviliges to view such as some other repositories suchas mime, object repository, object browser and all..
The 2 editors are se38 and se80 both have the abap editor in place. In se38 you can go create programs and view online reports and basically do all thedevelopmet of objects in this editor. In se80 ( object navigator) there are additional features such as creating packages, module pool , function group ,classes, programs ( where you can create ur programs) and BSP applications .
SE38, u will get more space in editor when u compare with the SE80 screen, the tree structure available will occupy more space so it will be eay for us to code.
If u want to do any special navigation then u can got to SE80, but there is no specific reason.
It depends on teh users convineince.
se80 is to navigate to every object .....
but everytime there is no need to navigate to several steps and go to abap editor.
So there certain transactions which takes us to directly to the objects such as SE38 for abapaeditor
    SE37 for function module
    SE93 for creating transaction codes...etc.
U can also traverse to se80 from SE38 itself using CtrlShiftF5.
SE 38 ->Abap Editor thru which we can create/modify the programs.
SE80 ->Object Navigator thru which we can navigate to many areas like message classes,Function modules, application areas, transactions, programs etc.

  • To add feild in standard transaction code

    hi
can anyone guide me to add one field t074u-UMSKZ( special G/L indicator) in standard transaction code FBCJ
    under CASH PAYMENT tab ?.
    regards
    rajdeep

You have to update the structure ISCJ_E_POSTINGS (to inser the new field) and then dynpro SAPMFCJ00110 by screen painter (SE51)...both objects are standard so you have to get the keys to update them from OSS.
Perhaps you should update the code to get the information and put it in your new field

    Hello Arun,
i already tried to search by the Portal Content / Search tab, but it doesn't help, and just looks through name, description and ID of the objects.

  • How can i log transaction codes, programes and tables used by a user?

    Hi everyone,
i need to log transaction codes, programes and tables a user has used in a certain time. how can i trace that and is it possible with timestamps?
i tried something with the badi workload_statistic but thats not what i need. is there a simple function which can do that or is this really much more complicated?

In SE13 there is an option to log table changes for a table.
If you search for "SCU3" you will find plenty of information on this. Also search for "RECCLIENT" (without the "/") and you will find some more specialized threads.
    Cheers,

  • Diffrent Between Goods Receipt Transaction Code MB01 and MIGO?

    Dear All
Could anyone please tell me different between goods receipt by MB01 and MIGO.
Should I choose MIGO or MB01.
    Thank and Best Regards,
    Thang

    Hi,
It is better to use MIGO.
MIGO replaces all the conventional transactions for posting goods movements, whose transaction codes start with MB*.
You can use the transaction (MIGO) to post the following goods movements:
    - Goods receipts from external procurement
    - Goods receipts for orders
    - 'Other' goods receipts
    - Return deliveries and subsequent deliveries
    - Goods issues
    - Transfer postings and stock transfers
    - Subsequent adjustment for subcontracting
    The advantages this transaction brings
This transaction provides many advantages over the old transaction for posting goods movements, for example:
    - You can maintain and display all the data on one screen. You can find all the information you need for an item without having to switch from screen to screen. You can just hide any detailed information you do not require.
    - When you enter goods movements, the system does not issue any messages; before you post the goods movements, you can display all the messages at once.
    - Instead of having to enter the same data every time you enter a new goods movement (for example, plant, storage location, or movement type), you enter the data you use most often only once via Settings -> Default values. The system then proposes this data every time you enter a goods movement.
    - If you do not know the exact name of the material, plant, or storage location, you just enter part of the number or a description. The system then searches for and proposes the complete term for you.
    How the screen is structured
The screen is split into three areas:
    - Overview tree
You can show and hide this area via the Overview on/off pushbutton. The overview screen displays the last ten documents for orders, reservations, material documents or held data. You thereby always have an overview of the last activities you carried out.
    - Header data
You can show and hide this area via the Open/close header data pushbutton.
    - Detail data
You can show this area by clicking on the item for which you want to display detail data in the Line column of the item overview. You can hide the detail data again by choosing Close detail data.
Each time you call up the transaction, the screen is displayed as it was configured the last time you used it.
