  • Error M7 146 : Special Stock E not supported

    Hello Everybody,
We have the following situation and would request your suggestions:-
In VL01N, we are trying to do a PGR via Returns Delivery (Delivery Type LR) for a Make-To-Order product. The system gives the error M7 146 "Special Stock E not supported (check your entry)".
Cause: In the background, it is trying to do a Movement Type 651 and is expecting an "E" for special stock. However, in T/Code OMJJ, the Movement Type 651 does not have the entry for Special Stock "E".
    Question:
Would the introduction of the value "E" for 651 for MTO have any impact on MTS products because MTS products also use 651 for MTS, althought they use it WITHOUT the "E".  Yet, it might not be advisable to risk changing standard SAP Movement Types after going live. Hence, this question to you all. Your advise and experiences would be most appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Srinivas

    Hello All,
This issue has not been resolved. Could someone help ? In simple terms:-
We have an MTO product that was sold with SAP Special Stock Indicator "E" + Material Master Strategy 20 that is now coming back to the company for repairs.
To receive the product, we create a Returns Order and try to do a Returns Delivery and PGR.
However, while trying to create a Returns Delivery, the system says "Only 0 EA of material xxxx available. An item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted".
Question: Why is the system expecting Stock to exist for Returns ?
    NOTE:
    1) The issue is NOT with the Delivery Item Category field "Check Quantity 0". It should have value "B".
    2) The Item Cat & Sch Line Cat for Returns are NOT relevant for Availability nor for Transfer of Requirements.
    3) The Item Cat is NOT relevant for the Special Stock Indicator because it is the same for MTO products and MTS products.
    Thanks,
    Srinivas

  • Special Stock E not supported (check your entry) Message no.

    Hi,
While we are doing the returns delivery, we are getting the error "
Special Stock E not supported (check your entry)
    Message no. M7146
    Diagnosis
The specified objekt (Special Stock E) is not supported."
    This is an M.T.O scenario
In the returns order the requirement type is 'KE"
    The item category is REN
    Schedule line category is DN
    movement type is 651
Kindly guide how to over come this issue.
    Warm Regards

    Dear somnath
For information, in returns scenario, special stock indicator E will not support.  The logic behind this is that while taking back the goods into plant, you should not assign those stocks to original sale order.  Either you have to post the stock for Quality or to some new storage location.

  • Special Stock E not supported (check your entry) error in returns delivery

    Dear friends,
While we are doing the returns delivery, we are getting the error " Special Stock E not supported (check your entry)
    Message no. M7146
    Diagnosis
The specified objekt (Special Stock E) is not supported."
    This is an M.T.O scenario
In the returns order the requirement type is 'KE"
can u pls tell me how the requirement type is determined at sales order level. Can it be changed manually.
How the strategy group is linked to requirement type.

    Hi,
Requirement type KE you can not changed manually.
For a strategy two requirement types are linked. One is from PIR requirement type, another one is from customer requirement type.
For 20 strategy, customer requirement type is KE.
    For more detais Goto SPRO>Production>Production planning>Demand management>Planned ind req>Planning strategy>Define planning strategy.
Here you can find the link between requirement type to a strategy.

  • Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement

We have a situation where we have had to put some serialized parts on a rework production order.  When we are trying to bring them back into stock, we're getting a message that says "Stock data of serial number not suitable for movement."  I'm guessing that this is because this serial number had existed in stock before (since this is a rework of an existing material/serial number.)  We need to receive this back into stock using this same serial number. How is that possible?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi experts,
I have unique problem with serialized material posting. We are having serialized managed materials which are posted to quality inspection stock. The user was able to post partial quantity to unrestricted after usage decision but when tried to post remainig quantity it is giving error 'IO231: Stock data of serial number &1 not suitable for movement".I checked serial number history in iq02 & it shows that same serial numbers were used for some order in the past which is already delivered.I am not able to understand how it allowed to post same serial numbers again for the same material and if it is normal why it is giving above error when we try to post remaining quantity?
I tried by changing serial profile in the material master with all optional fields and without stock check and equipment and try to post but its not working.
I want to somehow post material to unrestricted use from quality inspection with or without serial numbers.

  • SP1 to R2 Upgrade - The installed Version of SQL Server is not supported for the operational database

    Hello,
Am trying to upgrade a SCOM SP1 environment to SCOM R2( 3 MGT servers, 1 GW and 2 Web console boxes )
    The prerequisites are failing and it is stating the following ;
Operational Database SQL Version Check - The installed Version of SQL Server is not supported for the operational database
Data Warehouse  SQL Version Check - The installed Version of SQL Server is not supported for the data warehouse
The SQL servers are running SQL 2012 SP1 64 Enterprise, which is compatible.
All other pre-upgrade tasks have been done.
    Help appreciated!

I'm having the exact same issue, I believe. I think that Tubble has problem with SCOM 2012. Not 2007.
I've checked the compatibility list for both SCOM 2012 SP1 and R2. All newer Windows Server and SQL versions are supported. We're running the SQL 2012 SP1 x64 Standard edition on a Windows Server 2012 Standard.
I even tried to move the database from SQL 2012 to an older SQL 2008 R2, but that's not supported either. Only upgrading. Not downgrading.
So, I started checking the opsMgrSetupWizard.log file for clues. And the error message was there as well. But the reason why it says not supported is that it can't get the info about the OS version, so I guess it assumes the OS version is to low. The RPC
    service can not be reached.

So, in our case this was just a FW that was blocking some high ports between management server and SQL. I believe TCP port 135 also needs to be open.
Let's hope this fixes your issue as well, Tubble.
    Have a great day!

  • Serial Number not suitable for movement  when doing goods issue  or sto ?

    Dear all ,
I have a issue , when doing sto or goods issue ,
i have a material code serial number profile is off physical quantity is laying 20  and my requirement  is active the serial no
and  assign to  serial number  for the material ,
Tcode is iq01 put the material , serial number  and category after save when i am doing  ma1a putting material ,quantity
and that serial number click on save ,  geting error like
Stock data of serial number 1234 not suitable for movement
when i am checking iq02 serial number is showing but checking in  MMbe there is not showing
    Regards
    Shiv

    hello,
to activate the serial numbers you first have to clear all the stock for this material (MVT 562 / 502 or other)
Than activate the serial in the material muster.
in your situation (if i understood correctly) what you need is:
    1.  disable the serial numbers for the material (move them to another material)
    2. deactivate the serial number in the material master
    3. get rid of all the stack - post it with  562 or 502
    4. activate serial numbers
    5. post the material back to stock - 561 / 501 - than the system will require a serial number for each unit

  • 802.11a network not supported for this Country Code

Hi, I get the following error whne enabling 802.11a network on a AIR-WLC2106-K9. Country is set to ID (Indonesia)
    >config 802.11a enable network
802.11a network not supported for this Country Code
Yet, on a AIR-CT2504-K9, set to same country code there is no problem.
Is this a WLC model or version issue? WLC2106 is on version 6.0.199.4 while the CT2504 is 7.0.220.0
    Andrew

Well is it the only country code selected? Also you might as well upgrade the 2106 to 7.0.x and move off the 6.0.x. Since your 2604 is at that code you might as well upgrade the 2106 and see. I'm guessing that you have the same APs and the APs are for that country.

  • Sub-items not supported for selected item(s) error in LSMW

    Hi gurus,
Am working on BOM's data load via LSMW. Most of the item are stock items (L) but some of the items i am loading are Text items (T). Because of the customizing done in OS13 (that can't be changed apparently), the LSMW executed in foreground gives the message "Sub-items not supported for selected item(s)" (only as information, green message) and the dataload IS STOPPED.
Is there a way to :
-> change OS13 (allow sub-items for text items) : When i try i have an error message.
-> or to force LSMW program no to go on the sub items screens (this way the program does not stop and the BOM is created)
Thanks in advance for your answers,
    Olivier

Found the solution my self all relations between dataload file and sub-items structure had to be suppressed in LSMW.

  • Why Segment shrink is not supported for tables with function-based indexes

As we all know , Segment shrink is not supported for tables with function-based indexes.
    But i'm very confused .
Why Segment shrink is not supported for tables with function-based indexes ?? what's its essential?

    Creating a function based index creates a hidden virtual column (you'll see it if you query user_tab_cols) and once you index a virtual column you can no longer shrink the table:orcl> create table t1(c1 number,c2 as (c1 * 2)) segment creation immediate;
    Table created.
    orcl> alter table t1 enable row movement;
    Table altered.
    orcl>
    orcl> alter table t1 shrink space;
    Table altered.
    orcl> create index i2 on t1(c2);
    Index created.
    orcl> alter table t1 shrink space;
    alter table t1 shrink space
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-10631: SHRINK clause should not be specified for this object
orcl>so the issue is not with function based indexes per se, it is a level beneath that. Perhaps because the virtual column has no physical existance, when the row is moved there is no reason for Oracle to realize that an index needs updating? I haven't attempted to reverse engineer this, I would be interested to know if anyone else has.
