Specify directory with AS_TO_CLIENT
Hello,
Is it possible to specify the client side download directory with AS_TO_CLIENT?
Thanks
Sorry about that, I was under the impression that clientFile was only specifying the filename to the client not the directory. I got it to work very smoothly, and added user input to select the download path with the following code:
declare
l_filename varchar2(200);
FLAG BOOLEAN;
begin
l_filename := webutil_file.file_save_dialog
(directory_name => 'C:\'
,file_name => :data_block.file_name // Displays filename.type (test.txt)
,file_filter => null
,title => 'Select client side filename where App Server file will be saved');
FLAG:=WEBUTIL_FILE_TRANSFER.AS_TO_client_with_progress(l_filename , :data_block.file_location || :data_block.file_name, 'Downloading File...', 'Please Wait');
message('The image has been saved to ' || l_filename);
END;
Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate what you do for the development community.

Md5 checksums of all packages from the specified directory
How to check md5 checksums of all packages from the specified directory with pacman?
karol wrote:It's 4.30 AM, the sun comes up and I'm going to bed.
Hmmm, the blue sky and violet-pink clouds remind me of Arch homepage ;P
Hehe, it's a nice feeling, nevertheless.
@dkorzhevin: here's a script I've made when I needed this:
#!/bin/bash
echo -n "" > pkgNotFound
echo -n "" > pkgSums
names=`pacman -Slq`
for name in $names
do
versionLine=`pacman -Si $name | grep "Version : "`
version=`echo -n $versionLine | sed -e 's/Version : //g'`
md5Line=`pacman -Si $name | grep "MD5 Sum : "`
md5=`echo -n $md5Line | sed -e 's/MD5 Sum : //g'`
pkgPath=`find /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ -name $name"-"$version"*"`
if [ "$pkgPath" = "" ]
then
echo "Error: "$name" package not found in cache." >> pkgNotFound
else
echo $md5" "$pkgPath >> pkgSums
fi
done
exit 0
So your output will be located in the file "pkgSums" and it will look like this, these are the checksums that pacman displays, and the paths of your local packages:
4ce0d40359bfa1a4a0f47a0e53e65fa5 /var/cache/pacman/pkg/acl-2.2.49-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
24df396b3146d1a203e0d4f4d6edd67b /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ar9170-fw-1.0-2-any.pkg.tar.gz
8454e0fc947f9c8ce4ac5c39ed6ef165 /var/cache/pacman/pkg/attr-2.4.44-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz
9ef6b0ce43a4660170df21ead2f8e711 /var/cache/pacman/pkg/autoconf-2.65-2-any.pkg.tar.xz
505fe675565601f6ca803779601837cf /var/cache/pacman/pkg/automake-1.11.1-1-any.pkg.tar.gz
To check the checksums against the packages, just run md5 with the newly created file, if you get output then something stinks :
# md5sum -c --quiet pkgSums
There's another file "pkgNotFound" for the packages which are found in pacman but not on your disk. So make sure you don't have these two files already, in the current directory, containing important information - they will be overwritten. -
VMM 2012R2 UR4 - Version 3.2.7768.0
Not sure when this started happening since I haven't had to update or create a new RunAs account in VMM in some time, but every time I do, either through the console or through PowerShell it throws an error about The specified directory service attribute
or value does not exist. The VMM Service account is the same as it always has been, and other than this issue everything with VMM is working fine. The full text of the error message is below.
I am hoping someone has some ideas because I don't have any more at this point.

Specified directory does not exist
Hi there,
I'm having a wierd problem, and can't seem to find a way around it.
I'm logging into my clients' version 5 SP10 application, and the "Finance" app works fine: all dimensions downloaded, all folders created locally, etc (today is the first day I've used my PC with this appset so I didn't have these locally previously).
However, when I switch to my "interco" app, or any other, I get this error (NOTE: my user profile folder is on D not C):
"The Specified directory does not exists: D:\Jason\Documents\Outlooksoft\<Server Name>\<User>\App Info\<Appset>\<Application>\eExcel"
Sorry, not very easy to read!
It doesn't seem to create these folders. But if I do it manually (through My Computer), the next time I log in I don't get the error - presumably because the folder has been created.
My colleague has the exact same problem from the exact same application set, and we are using different Windows OSs (he is on XP and I'm on Vista) so it can't be that.
Any ideas? I have worked at this client many times, but not since SP10 was applied - could that be the cause of the problem?
Thanks as always!
JasonJason,
I had the same issue with a few applications. SAP tech advised me to copy an application and it should re-create folder structure. Another approach is to process application without selecting any options - should also re-create folder structure, but I can't confirm this one.
And 3rd way is to copy folder structure from a good (working) version of the same application into the "broken" one.
Hope that helps,
Akim -
Query running backgroup how to download result to specified directory?
Hi Expert,
according to the current business requirement, I have create a query via SQ02 AND SQ01 and it runs smoothly, but now the user want to run this query periodically every 10 mins and want to write the result into spicified dirctory in the desktop.
I write a ABAP code in the query and use the function module GUI_DOWNLOAD, it works in online execution, but when I schedule this query as background, the system can not download the result into specified directory and the system prompts error:FES--022.
do you have any good idea?
thank you in advance!xioliu,
I don't think that is possible as long as it is executed in the background. Options for the background will be 1) to send an e-mail from the program with attachment, or 2) save it into SAP Server and pull that via ftp into whatever the server the user has access to.
Cheers,
Akio -
[SOLVED] C : How to block opening files "above" a specified directory?
SOLVED: Used
man 3 realpath
Hello Archers,
I have this one problem I've been struggling with. I kind of solved it but the solution's hackish.
My question is how do you prevent the opening of files "above" a specified directory? The reason behind this is that I'm writing a simple sharing server, something like Xyne's quickserve, but in C and with a GTK GUI. I'm using the libmicrohttpd library.
The program works this way: the user selects a port and a directory to be "served", and then he can access the files under the directory he chose. However, there obviously needs to be a way to prevent the user from opening files above the directory by using ".."'s for example.
For now, I simply plan on rejecting all queries containing ".." (http://github.com/houbysoft/quickshare/ … hare.c#L59), but that's obviously very imperfect -- and you could get around it if there is a symlink in the directory for example.
Any pointers will be very appreciated, thanks.

man realpath wrote:BUGS
The POSIX.1-2001 standard version of this function is broken by design, since it is impossible to
determine a suitable size for the output buffer, resolved_path. According to POSIX.1-2001 a buffer
of size PATH_MAX suffices, but PATH_MAX need not be a defined constant, and may have to be obtained
using pathconf(3). And asking pathconf(3) does not really help, since, on the one hand POSIX warns
that the result of pathconf(3) may be huge and unsuitable for mallocing memory, and on the other
hand pathconf(3) may return -1 to signify that PATH_MAX is not bounded. The resolved_path == NULL
feature, not standardized in POSIX.1-2001, but standardized in POSIX.1-2008, allows this design
problem to be avoided.
So be careful to either pass resolved_path as NULL and bite the potential unportablilty bullet, or copy canonicalize_file_name or canonicalize_filename_mode from gnulib.
Yeah, I am passing NULL. -
Searching for content within a specified directory
I am trying to do a simple content search on a specified directory, but I do not get the results I expect.
I have looked at the examples and based my code upon them.
If anyone can spot what I am missing or have forgotten I would be very grateful.
Thanks

[OBPM 10gR3]How to configer a hybrid directory with Oracle LDAP Server
Hey, guys,
Does anyone have experience on configering a hybrid directory with Oracle LDAP Server? How to config the mapping conf file for Oracle LDAP in the directory of \OraBPMwlHome\conf?
Here is my conf file. But I got some LDAP mapping errors. It's really weird OBPM doesn't support Oracle's self LDAP, at least it does not provide the conf file.

Edited by: Lemonice on 2009-3-30 下午8:43Hi,
in my case, I am trying to configure the OBPM directory using ALUI and its native LDAP service.
Now, I found that the first name and the last name in BPM are retrieved from the ALUI display name : provided we enter the display name in the format %first name% + %last name% we get them into BPM. But the display name is not always in this format...
In addition, it's the portal telephone number information which is retrieved into BPM Telephone and Fax numbers.
And, the email adress remains blank
I have installed the latest patch for OBPM (Version: 10.3.1.0.0 Build: #97172)
Would you have any documentation about creating a Profile Web Service in ALUI and specifying which LDAP attributes to map to which ALUI properties in the Profile Source ?
Thanks !

I have a use case where I need to use different download directories with different firefox profiles.I need to use this profiles in multiple linux machines.
I need to have a relative path to my download directory with respect to the profile folder.
Ex: I have a selenium test which opens a website and downloads it to my machine.I want this downloaded file to go into some specific folder relative to this profile folder.How do I do this??That is not a practically empty xinitrc - that file only needs one line: exec WM. Other things are entirely optional, and some of them very useful, but I'd encourage you to stick with the simplest xinitrc that will do what you require.
Is slim involved? Probably. That is the source of many problems. But to start narrowing this down, I have 3 suggestions:
1) temporarily (at least) change your inittab to default to runlevel 3 ... actually, is it currently set to 5 or 3? if it is currently 3 that would explain why slim doesn't start.
2) at a tty in runlevel 3 use "xinit" instead of "startx". Startx is fine most of the time, but it is essentially just a complex wrapper for xinit. That complexity can often iadd useful functionality, but it *always* makes troubleshooting more difficult. So for now just use a vanilla 'xinit'.
3) remove dbus-launch from your exec line in xinitrc. This is done by console-kit so it is redundant and potentially problematic. Further BOTH of these are taken care of by slim, so I'd even suggest getting both a jump start on being ready for slim and simplifying troubleshooting by removing both of them. Just make that line "exec openbox-session"
Edit: adding one more:
4) temporarily switch out openbox-session for openbox. I suspect the reason feh's setting of the background is getting overridden is due to a script or setting in openbox's autostart settings - many of these are only invoked when "openbox-session" is called, while "openbox" starts *just* the window manager itself.

How to generate output file of a certain report in a specified directory
Hello everyone,
I wanna know how to generate the output file of a certain report in a specified directory.
Now, the output file directory = /produits/OA/OAS/production/prodcomn/admin/out/PROD_us15k1bp/
I wanna to generate the output file of a report in this directory
/produits/OA/OAS/production/prodcomn/admin/out/PROD_us15k1bp/FACTCLIENT
Cause the output of this report is very large, so I don't wanna to put it in the output drectory standard which reduce the performance.
Could you help me?
Thanks a lot,
KinkichinHi,
I wanna know how to generate the output file of a certain report in a specified directory.See (Note: 158088.1 - Is Possible to Redirect the Concurrent Processes Output to a Specific Directory for a Specific Responsibility?).
Cause the output of this report is very large, so I don't wanna to put it in the output drectory standard which reduce the performance.There should be no performance issues you place the output file in the same directory where other concurrent request output files are located.

Writing an file to a specified directory
I have an application in Tomcat. In this application i write data into an xml-file. When i check this, i see that the file is written in the bin directory of tomcat. Now I want to write this file into another directory, for example: /tomcat/webbaps/catalog/orders/order.xml
Can someone tell me how my code to place it in this specified directory looks like?
Thx !When you specify the file name, prefix it by the directory you want it stored in. You didn't show any code that explains how you are doing it now, so I'm not showing you any code that might be irrelevant. There are many ways to write an XML file to disk.
