Speech to text feature deleting blocks after pause, what happened?

A week or two ago, my speech to text started to delete entire blocks of words, and start over in the beginning of a thought (spoken).
I have never had this problem and historically could speak to text an entire e-mail. I understand others with Google phones are seeing this lately as well.
I have tried to change settings, restart, pull battery/sim..etc... nothing fixes this issue.
I need to get details on how to correc this. It's a major problem as I use this often for work, but in current state its unusable.

I have, several times, as mentioned in the original message.
This seems to be a major problem for many people, seen below in this link. Its recent.
I need to know what the fix is. This is my work phone and its a major problem. Please help.

HT1688 If I delete my apple ID what happens to my itunes data?

my daughter is using my old apple ID, and I gave her my iPhone 5. I now have a Samsung Galaxy S4, I can't text my husband anymore, ATT said it had something to do with my apple ID. We used to use the iMessage and now I can't.
please help. What happens if I delete my apple ID so I can communicate to and Iphone from a Samsung and what happens to everything in my itunes account?

As long as you update your existing account with the new email address then you shouldn't lose anything, it should remain linked to the account. You can update the primary email address on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and viewing your account, and via http://appleid.apple.com
After updating it you may need to tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and log out and then log back in for it to be 'refreshed' on it

After upgrading what happens to the apps on my 3G?

I just received my iPhone 4 and put my backup from my iPhone 3G on. It works fine, and there is no more AT&T service on my iPhone 3G. I intend to use the 3G as an iPod Touch. I understand the SIM card needs to stay in the phone for this, even though it is not activated with AT&T.
What happens to the apps that are still on my 3G? They are still working. I assume they will stay there until I need to sync. Then I will have to set up a new iTunes account, under a unique computer user name, for the 3G and buy the apps all over again for the 3G.

Nope, the apps stay there until you delete them.
I currently sync 2 iPhones and 2 iPod Touch units all to one iTunes store account, and per the Apple licensing, they all can run apps I have purchased. I had a similar question as you when I first started using multiple devices, so I sent an email to the app author for the app I wanted most to do this with. His response was that this is Apple's terms, so if I didn't want to purchase a second license to use his app on a second device, then I didn't need to (but he wouldn't stop me if I wanted to either). In the end, I found this app author to be very dedicated to his app, and very responsive to my comments/requests, so I did purchase a second copy of his app (yes, I had my wife create an iTunes account and purchase it under her account).

Unknown contacts and appointments after upgrade, what happened?

I traded in my 4 for the new 5 the other day and after backing the 4 up to the cloud i setup my new 5. After it was finished i had a large number of unknown people and appointments on my phone. I have noticed also that some of my known contacts info has changed. What the heck has happened?

When you migrate to your new Mac, do it before setting up any user accounts. Then you will be able to migrate accounts from the old Mac. If you have already set up an account with your username the old one will come in under a different name and you will have problems transferring the data.

So little playlist after update. what happened?

What happened to all the playlist? Browsing and listening to the spotify playlists was my favorite part of spotify. I've found so much new music that way. But with the update all you show is popular playlists which isn't nearly the amount of playlist you use to have. Am I missing something? is there a way to see all the rest of the play lists in a genre? Or are we stuck listening to only the popular ones?

that is where I'm looking and since the update all they have is popular playlists listed. Which brings the lists in each genre from like 50 or more to about 25 or so. How can they even be the popular ones if we can't see the other ones to play them?

Captivate does not have Speech to Text feature. It has text to speech, which is basically an audio file. You can generate the audio using this feature. The audio that is generated using this feature is in the library. You can drag and drop the audio on any object.

When I bought my iPad there was a feature that allowed me to voice record reminders. What happened to this feature. With all the updates, it is now gone.

When I bought my ipad 2 a few years ago there was a feature so that I could record reminders. But with all the updates, this feature is now gone. What happened to it? Also, on my iphone and imac, I can dictate and it types for me. I thought I had this feature on the ipad too, but can't find it. Does it not exist for the ipad 2 or do I have to download an app?

How can I keep my child from UNBLOCKING contacts or numbers I have blocked? I know in restrictions when you disable account changes at least on ios 6,this greyed out the iMessage button so the kids couldn't deactivate their text feature.

Here's the issue. Kids got themselves into some trouble on iPods. We set all restrictions any turned off iMessage etc, which I noticed they can't turn back on bc it's gray with the don't allow account changes set. BUT, it still allows Wi-Fi to be turned on and off! How can I disable them being able to turn that on wo asking me?? In ios 7, the blocking feature, fabulous, BUT, how can I keep the kids from UNBLOCKING numbers I have blocked? What I am looking to do actually is allow my kids to be able to text family but block everyone else. And ask me to turn on wi fi. How and can this even be done? Right now my d text is turned off completely. And she knows the inside and out of her device so she can turn wi fi on herself. On vacation she entered the wi fi code of our condo and so I did forget network, which didn't work and wi fi kept connecting anyway wo requiring password again! HELP! TeresaBoo, I empathize with your dilemma and have a similar problem. I'm trying desperately to keep my teenage daughter away from a controlling and abusive boyfriend. Of course, she is in denial and thinks it's love. Sure, I can block text messages through our wireless provider, but iMessages run on an independent network. I can block a phone number from iMessaging on her phone, but she can unblock it just as easily. I wish there was some way for parents to create a password to protect settings. Don't let negative comments get you down. Honestly, if someone can't relate to your question or offer help, why are they even bothering to comment??
